Hello to all! This is Episode 60 of the arc: The Pursuit!
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 5: Episode 60: The Dark Knight's Path Part 2!
In the previous episode of DKR:
Even though Kojan killed the so-called leader of the Akatsuki; in reality the Pains and Konan were fakes due to the Shapeshifter Technique and snickering at his attempt, Madara did praise Kojan as everything is going according to plan.
Yugi, struggling due to still drain, tried to get back to the others with Mew Ichigo worried for him, unaware of the conflict he had with Jenny and how he can't turn away from being the Dragon Knight.
Annoyed that Yugi is not listening to reason, Kojan decided it was time to force his hand and stopped the group pursuing Itachi.
The group of Danny, Ed, Usagi and Ryan were searching for Sasuke till Kojan appeared. He proceeded to fight the group to send a message to Yugi. The team, not scared of him, engaged the Uchiha though are powerless to his abilities and techniques. Ryan was the last one standing and tried to challenge Kojan into a duel since he is still a novice Dragon Knight. However, Kojan discarded the Duel Disk he borrowed and had no reason to duel him. So he left to deal with the next group, leaving the others pretty beaten.
The group of Jonouchi, Naruto, Sonic, Ruby and Kaiba (to his dismay) was also searching until they too were confronted by Kojan who zapped Sonic into submission. Now he was prepared to fight them.
Will this group handle the seemingly unstoppable Uchiha? What will happen next?
And now the conclusion... last left off in the previous episode:
Before the real Naruto encountered Itachi, one of his clones found Yugi and Mew Ichigo. He showed his relief to see them okay though worried about not finding Sasuke.
"We have to be close.'' The Naruto clone expressed, feeling very desperate that his search might end up in another failure. How can he be so close and yet so far? ''I know Sasuke is close, he has to be!''
Mew Ichigo frowned to see him act so impulsively like he had no other purpose but to find Sasuke and Yugi felt the same. Even though he had to find Kojan, he must worry for his friends too.
''Saying that over and over doesn't encourage confidence, Nya.'' Mew Ichigo told the spiky blond head. Yugi nodded as he encouraged him. ''Naruto-kun, we'll find Sasuke-kun. Don't let despair consume you and beat it with your guts. Believe in not just your bond with Sasuke but the bonds of everyone else too.''
The Naruto clone looked at them still upset about himself but he felt warm that they worried for him. He smiled a bit, admitting he had his friends there for him.
Yugi smiled, feeling his aura becoming calmer. And in that moment, he staggered, sensing the others.
''Sorry Naruto-kun, we'll catch up with the rest of you guys later!'' Yugi told him as he rushed ahead. Mew Ichigo blinked as she turned to Naruto and encouraged him with a smiling wink. ''Naruto, smile and always look forward strongly Nya!''
The cat girl soon ran off, catching up to Yugi. The Naruto clone is alone as he nodded, going to face his problems forward and not give up. He soon vanished into smoke, transferring the information to the original who would cross paths with Itachi soon after.
Naruto still recalls their words as he stares down at Kojan, now standing in their way. Sonic is out of commission, electricity coursing through his body. Only he and Ruby can fight with Jonouchi likely not able to do much and Kaiba… well he's really pissed. But their opponent is another Uchiha who is a Dragon Knight too.
Still, Naruto refuses to be discouraged as he comes dashing in, pulling out a Kunai. Kojan stands there as Naruto swings a punch with the kunai at hand but Kojan dodges it instantly like a blink in the eye. The spiky blond head growls as he tries swinging punches and kicks which Kojan dodges with ease till he actually kicks Naruto across the chest so fast and quick that it launches him backwards.
Naruto, stunned by the kick, stomps his feet on the ground, grinding himself backwards till he stops. He pants, realizing this guy is no pushover but he isn't either. He soon proclaims strongly with his fist pointing at him. "I don't get why you want to stop us from reaching Itachi but he's the only way to reach Sasuke!''
Kojan doesn't respond as Naruto comes charging at him again but with two Kunais, trying to cut him but Kojan dodges around the swings without once pulling out his Dragon Sword or his small katana, not even trying to dodge him. Naruto becomes more and more frustrated as Jonouchi and Ruby watch. Kaiba scoffs, not caring about this clash of fools.
Naruto continues his assault until Kojan has enough and leaps up. He pulls out multiple shurikens and throws them at him. Naruto isn't stupid as he distances himself right away. Kojan smirks at that as he suddenly waves his hands, revealing each finger of his is wired with thin thread and swings the spinning Shurikens right towards him. Naruto panics as he jumps around the spinning blades while Kojan descends towards him, surging electricity through the wires and making them visible but deadlier.
Kojan swings them insanely like a puppeteer, swinging the electrical Shurikens around to Naruto's irritation. He can cut the wires since the electricity will shock him so Plan B: Naruto throws his Kunais at Kojan directly. He simply steps to the sides for each Kunai, dodging them, until he notices the explosive tag on the last, glowing. He staggers as the tag explodes, consuming everything in that part in flames and followed by smoke.
Everyone watches as even the wires are gone. However, emerging out of the smoke is Kojan, completely unharmed but he can't spot where-
''That's why I won't back down! I refuse to give up, ya know!'' Kojan staggers as he turns to see Naruto suddenly behind him, pulling back a punch as he shouts, swinging it right at him. ''That is who a Hokage is!''
His punch comes right at his target but without a slight motion, Kojan suddenly catches Naruto's fist with ease with his bare palm. Naruto is startled by this, thinking he had him there.
''Oh~?'' Kojan utters out with a sly smirk across his face, finding this really amusing and yet cute… Cute that this 16 year old is thinking like an 8 year old brat.
''You? Hokage? Please, if you become Hokage, then Konoha will become a junk pile.'' Kojan proclaims, mocking Naruto's dream which only enrages him, growling madly as he holds up his other arm back. ''Shut up!''
He swings it quickly and bashes directly at Kojan's face. It actually connects as Kojan staggers a step back but only one step. Adjusting his head forward, Naruto widens his eyes as Kojan gazes at him with a slight, tiny bruise across his cheek.
Scoffing at his outburst, the Uchiha then tells the naïve moron. ''And a Hokage has one duty; protect the village and its people. Someone like you who thinks about one friend will never hope to become the leader of Konoha let alone even beat me.''
Releasing his grip from him for a brief second, Kojan instantly swings an insanely fast kick that Naruto manages to guard with his arm and the kick actually sends him flying away. Naruto is pushed but somersaults him standing up.
He pants, admitting this guy is no pushover but he isn't going to surrender or let him get away with those words.
''That won't change my mind. I'm not giving up!'' Naruto declares once again, refusing to let this beat him. Kojan simply smirks, asking him with another cruel tease. ''Really? Power of Love then, I guess.''
Silence echoes the field with Naruto making a paralyzed, stun face. Jonouchi sweat drops as does Ruby, both questioning if he knows about the kiss.
Gulping as he's both embarrassed but obviously pissed, Naruto crosses his fingers and shouts. ''SHADOW CLONE TECHNIQUE!''
Immediately Naruto creates a dozen Shadow Clones. They all charge right at him but Kojan scoffs, forming a few hand seals.
''EARTH RELEASE: EARTH DRAGON BULLET!'' Stomping his foot, Kojan shouts as the ground erupts, earth emerging that takes on the face of a dragon's head. The dragon opens its earth-like face and spits out earth rocks at Naruto and his clouds in succession.
The rock shots blast and destroy multiple clones as the original manages to dodge the barrage of giant throwing rocks by leaping off his remaining clones like platforms before shooting up into the sky. Kojan watches as Naruto pulls out a Fuma Shuriken and throws it downward; hitting the forehead of the dragon and it has an explosive tag too. Kojan leaps backwards as the tag shines and explodes, destroying his earth dragon.
Now seeing his chance, Naruto shouts as he crosses his fingers once more. ''MULTIPLE SHADOW CLONE TECHNIQUE!''
Immediately the sky is covered with nearly over 100 hundred Shadow Clones. They all descend rapidly as each group of two forms a Rasengan for the other.
''RASENGAN BARRAGE!'' Naruto and his clones shout, swinging their Chakra energy sphere downward at Kojan. Scoffing with a sly smirk, Kojan forms a hand seal and shouts, inhaling and then exhaling out. ''FIRE RELEASE: GREAT DRAGON FIRE TECHNIQUE!''
He releases a massive burst of raging giant flames taking on the shape of a massive dragon. Naruto and his clones refuse to back down as they slam their attacks on the flames but to her horror the flame erupts and explodes on impact.
''WAAA!'' Naruto and his clones scream in horror, consumed by the flames as they are extinguished into nothing except the original, dropping hard onto the ground. Jonouchi drops his jaw, not believing that it just happened.
Kojan scoffs as he walks towards the burned Naruto. His eyes look at him, briefly changing into the Sharingan as he sees it in surprise. The moment he takes his next step, Naruto poofs into smoke and soon the ground erupts as Naruto shoots out from the ground, swinging an uppercut punch. Kojan, not even looking at him, leans backwards and evades the punch before he kicks him aside. Naruto is launched and crashes on the ground, dragging along the floor. He groans, not expecting him to realize that he is a clone.
Naruto tries getting up as Kojan approaches until he hears a shot. Kojan widens his eyes, sidestepping to the left as he dodges a bullet trying to hit precisely his shoulder. He turns quickly, gazing at Ruby, frowning as she was taking a hesitating shot. He groans, turning as he's suddenly assaulted by a barrage of dozens of Naruto clones, all ramming their fist or feet at him.
Forming multiple hand seals, Kojan shouts loudly. ''WATER RELEASE: WATER HAIL!''
He inhales and shoots out a rapid barrage of bullet-shaped water shots from his mouth, spitting at the clones. The water bullets pierce through the clones, destroying them. The blond headed Shinobi tries repelling them with Wind enhanced Kunai, slashing the water bullets.
Kojan watches as Naruto dashes forward, swinging his Kunai and Kojan finally pulls out his Katana, swinging and intercepting the ninja weapon as the blade of his weapon is engulfed in flames. Naruto widens his eyes, uttering out in shock. ''A Fire enhanced Katana!''
Sparks of wind and fire surround the two back away.
''SQUALL RELEASE: RAGING EXPLOSION SLASH!'' Kojan shouts out, releasing electricity and mixes it with his flames and he comes swinging. Naruto, recklessly, charges in with his own swing and the two clash once more, only this time the blade of Kojan's fiery-electric katana unleashes an up-close explosion, blasting only to Naruto's direction. He screams as his kunai is destroyed and crashes onto a tree.
Kojan scoffs as suddenly he fucks and dodges hesitative swing from her Crescent Rose scythe. Kojan then manages to turn around fast and kicks Ruby backwards onto a tree.
''You're the one who fell that day.'' Kojan mutters out, remembering her that day that Dimension Break occurred. He scoffs, wondering what that lazy dragon is doing, not even bothering to handle such a simple miss.
Ruby grunts, getting back up as she changes her weapon into blaster mode and fires unprecise shots at him. Kojan doesn't bother dodging them, simply stepping to the sides and missing them.
''Can't you try to hit me like you're trying to kill me?'' Kojan comments on her, unimpressed by her skills. Ruby groans as she switches the Crescent Rose back to scythe mode and comes at him. She swings around wildly, mainly trying to hit him with the back of her rod of the scythe but Kojan easily dodges her and parries the hit from the back end of the scythe. Ruby groans, activating her Semblance to attack him with insane speed but Kojan still blocks and parries her attacks, his active Sharingan eyes able to react to every attack she lands on him.
''If you were trying to kill me, you would have tried it by now.'' Kojan comments, timing the next parry with Raikiri Shockwave and releases a burst of electricity that Ruby manages to distance herself from him. She pants heavily, not thinking she would manage.
Kojan scoffs at her speed and tells her. ''I'll admit you're fast but you're just a little girl trying to be something you're not.''
Frowning, Ruby protests determinedly as she calls him out. ''Wrong! Hunters and huntresses hunt down and beat Grimm and monsters that would harm others. We don't kill any human life!''
''Then you're just a pathetic, weak version of ninjas.'' Kojan says coldly. Ruby groans mad as Naruto, grunting gets back up and utters out loudly. ''Like hell Ruby is not! She and the other girls…''
Naruto pauses, thinking of Blake but he shakes his head, resuming his speech. ''Even the cats are all awesome! You have no right to mock them for caring about human life!''
And not just them but Sakura, his other friends, heck Sai, Yamato, Gaara, Konohamaru Iruka; they're all strong! Even though they are tools, ninjas can become more than that from what he learned from so many.
''And us, ninjas, can fight for precious things than killing each other, ya know!'' Naruto proclaims passionately, pointing his fist at Kojan. ''And that is my Ninja Way! I will fight for my friends and become Hokage!''
''…'' Silent, Kojan stands there with his head lowered down. Naruto stares, thinking his words might have reached him… until Kojan utters out. ''… Then why is Sasuke so determined to kill his own brother?''
This shocks Naruto as Kojan lifts his eyes, his Sharingan eyes glow so angry at his utter-utter false words.
''Do you have family or a lover?'' Kojan begins asking him, adjusting himself while gripping on his senses. He frowns, seeing the flashes of someone dead as he grips his arms on her… how he- Kojan snaps out as he utters out angrily. ''Do you even know what pain is?! Do you know the feeling that something ripped out of your heart and splatted!''
Naruto widens his eyes, even more shocked by Kojan's words as the Uchiha further says with such disgust. ''Ninjas are meant to kill each other, to be tricked by their own or be used as pawns for inhuman reasons. Someone like you has no idea how to approach or change that system. A flaw system that only views Shinobis as tools and killing machines only meant to murder than create a sense of peace! Your words are just as flaw as they are weak! Words that only a brat can say when they have no clue of anything.''
Naruto is left speechless with a dreadful face, immediately remembering the time Jiraiya began telling him about the problems of the ninja world and finding peace. Back then, he promised he would find peace but now, he forgot about that promise.
Ruby is really quiet, realizing that Kojan has suffered.
''Regardless, you two aren't even threats to me!'' Kojan, with a calmer voice, proclaims in his chances to not lose.
Naruto growls as he prepares to prove him wrong, crossing his fingers. However, Kojan immediately activates his Sharingan and both Naruto and Ruby fall for it, entering a dreadful Genjutsu of horror and suffering before they drop onto their knees. Ruby has a panicking expression with Naruto struggling, biting his lips to partly break free but he can't move.
''D-damn…'' The spiky blond headed utters out, not able to do anything. He feels utterly helpless, powerless as his body shakes ever so slightly. ''I-I'm…''
If he doesn't do something now, he'll lose his only chance to reach Sasuke. After so long, he can't; he can't-
''You need my power.'' Naruto widens his eyes, sensing the Kyuubi's chakra trying to leak out with his eyes turning red fox-like and hearing its sly voice, taunting him. ''Go on. Use my power!''
Naruto grunts, closing his eyes as he utters out in his mind. ''Shut up!''
Kojan then senses a disruption of aura, gazing towards Naruto and he can feel it.
Naruto finds himself in his inner world with the massive caged fox, taunting him with more of his power. He even goes as far as saying that without his power; he will not reach Sasuke.
''I know I can save Sasuke without your power. Or else, I-'' Naruto begins to protest, believing he can do it without becoming a monster but before he can continue, a familiar voice speaks up. ''So you're a Jinchuriki then, huh?''
Naruto widens his eyes, turning to see Kojan walking up, gazing at the Nine-Tailed Fox. He smirks with a huff, declaring. ''Becoming Hokage seems impossible with him in you.''
The Kyuubi hisses, a deep steaming breath coming out from his fangs.
''He's in my mind too like Sasuke…'' Naruto mutters out, recalling how Sasuke got in his mind too.
''Bastard! Who the hell are-'' The Kyuubi begins to demand with a powerful roar until Kojan's eyes glow and swirls of darkness wrap around him. The Tailed Beast staggers, gasping as he finds himself being choked by the large arm of a black energy skeleton arm which belongs to a massive black skeleton that merges behind Kojan. The demon fox staggers as the skeleton begins expanding into a silhouette of an armored figure.
''T-This pressure…'' The Nine Tails utters out, fear emerging from his voice as his eyes are of sheer terror from what he recalled in the past… by his hands. ''You remind me… of… Madara…''
''Really huh?'' Kojan proclaims with a small smirk however briefly as it changes into a frown- no, a scowl of despise, telling the Tailed Beast. ''Be grateful I don't control you, fox.''
Immediately the armored hand holding on the Kyuubi releases a burst of electricity, shocking the demon fox in such agony. It also shocks and snaps Naruto into reality, watching as Kojan walks up to him.
''As for you…'' Kojan begins to say as Naruto growls and comes charging fully stand up, having just enough of the Kyuubi's Chakra to swing a punch at him. However, Naruto widens his eyes as his swinging arm suddenly drops down as he looks down at the fist Kojan punch across his gut, covered in electricity.
''Don't get up, 'Hokage'.'' Kojan tells him coldly as he pressures his fist into him. Naruto gasps out blood from his mouth with such a face of anguish. The Uchiha pulls away his arm and watches Naruto dropping on his knees and falls face forward on the ground.
Ruby panics heavily, frozen in what to do or what she can do.
Kojan narrows his eyes towards her, telling her off. ''You think you're a huntress because you can slay monsters?''
Smirking at such childish nature, he tells her firmly from what he learned from his teacher. ''Humans are monsters too. Unless you have the determination to cut down someone that looks or is human, then you will never be able to help anyone or be a huntress. Remember that.''
Ruby just stares at him, looking down slowly in defeat.
''Hey, grumpy!'' Kojan turns his sight towards Sonic, smirking as he can't stand for those who look down on others, declaring proudly. ''I'm still here!''
Kojan simply smirks, unimpressed.
''Not worth my time.'' He says, not finding any excitement facing some rat. He turns around only for Jonouchi to get in his way, shouting pissed off at what he's done. ''HEY! You have to go through-''
Immediately Jonouchi is pushed aside by Kaiba. The darkened blond head staggers, yelling out mad. ''Hey Kaiba, I had-''
''Shut up! If you know your damn place, don't cross me Jonouchi!'' Kaiba threatens him, having seen enough of this game but he will not tolerate it.
''I DIDN'T ASK FOR-'' Jonouchi begins barking at Kaiba until he silences himself, realizing that Kaiba actually referred to him by his first name. He startles, telling himself mentally. ''Kaiba just called me by my name. Then he's that serious.''
Seto pays no attention, gazing at Kojan who questions him, annoyed. ''What do you want with me?''
Scowling as this pest has no idea why he's standing in his way, Kaiba reminds him with a cold gaze. ''You had the nerve to interfere and disturb my tournament.''
''… Haha…'' Kojan simply chuckles a bit, shaking his head rather embarrassed as he tells him. ''Please. A little bit of electricity and manipulating one of your workers with my Sharingan is hardly any excuse to blame me for ''ruining'' your tournament. Besides, the Dark Lord made it worse.''
Kaiba glares, already figuring out the type of person he is as he tells him. ''You think you're better than everyone else.''
Kojan gazes at him, not responding to him. Scoffing at his coldness, Kaiba then proclaims confidently. ''A shame only one person has the right to think like that: me.''
The Uchiha has heard enough, activating his Sharingan Genjutsu to put him down but it does nothing. Kojan is startled as Kaiba laughing, having upgraded his headwear set to protect him from silly illusions whenever they work on him.
''If you intend to get rid of me; Duel me!'' Kaiba proclaims, holding forward his Duel Disk. Kojan scoffs at him, questioning his motive. ''For Yugi huh? I shouldn't be surprised.''
''For Yugi?'' Seto asks him before he cracks an evil smirk and erupts in laughs. ''HAHAHA!''
Jonouchi sweat drops at his laughs while Kojan glares more than irritated by him.
''If I was, fine but this is mainly you crossing me. This is between you and me.'' Kaiba explains his reasons, not going to take no for an answer. Kojan can't help but find this man much more prideful than any Uchiha. Still, it changes nothing as he declares the obvious. ''Have no Duel Disk so whatever you want with me is pointless.''
Kaiba oddly expected that as he held up the briefcase he brought along. He sets it down and kicks it, watching it slide directly to Kojan as it stops in front of him. Kojan gazes down at it and asks him. ''And that?''
''Open it.'' Seto simply tells him. Kojan kneels down and opens the case. He raises an eyebrow at the content inside the case as he reaches down and pulls it out, revealing a brand new Duel Disk.
Jonouchi is shocked by this, literally questioning Kaiba. ''You were carrying a Duel Disk with you all this time?''
Kaiba does not answer him, gazing at Kojan. The Uchiha examines it and puts it on his arm, impressed that it fits.
''Fine…'' Kojan finally accepts as he slides in his deck as the Duel Disk auto shuffles it. He gazes at Seto, warning him with a smirk. ''Don't begin to regret challenging me.''
"Likewise." Kaiba responses with a glare, not going to regret anything but destroying him. Jonouchi is just silent… kinda wishing he was dueling against Kojan instead but he can't really complain.
With Naruto and Ruby defeated, can Kaiba fight Kojan?
Commercial Break:
Jonouchi: I can't believe Kaiba is going to duel that guy. I wanted to do that!
Kaiba: I don't know what you think or not, this is between me and him!
Jonouchi watches, sweating, at how intense it feels to watch Kaiba about to face Kojan in a duel. From what he recalled, his deck is almost foreign to him and frighteningly strong.
Naruto groans, too drained to do anything while Ruby wishes that she was dreaming.
Kojan looks at the Duel Disk around his wrist, amazed he went to the trouble to give him a free, new Duel Disk just so he can duel him. Almost finds this all pathetic but he can at least keep this now.
"I want to ask you something.'' Kojan then begins to question Kaiba, gazing at him calmly. ''Why bother challenging me to your game? Is this just for payback for your tournament.''
Scoffing at his stupid question, Kaiba, with his arms crossed, answers him. ''Yugi has talked nonstop about you and his bond with you.''
Kojan sighs, figuring as much. Though, he is surprised even this man has a heart to-
''I don't give a damn about your bonds with Yugi or his want to help you or get your damn deal.'' Kojan, sweat dropping, looks back up at Kaiba who glares irritated towards the man as he makes it clear to him. ''I won't tolerate anyone for ruining any of my tournaments, especially when it involves Yugi.''
Jonouchi watches with a narrow gaze, annoyed face, not at all surprise by Kaiba's-
''Or mock Yugi and doubt himself. That is my job, the man who is his destined and only rival!'' Kaiba then declares, now shocking Jonouchi. Okay, maybe Kaiba does care… a BIT.
''… Let's get this over with.'' Kojan, already annoyed with his nonsense, proclaims as he activates his Duel Disk. Kaiba scoffs, tapping on his headset and it activates along with his holographic Duel Disk system.
Drawing their top 5 cards, the two shout seriously towards the other. "DUEL!''
Duel Screen: Seto Kaiba: 4000LP vs. Kojan Uchiha: 4000LP
Jonouchi watches, for once cheering that Kaiba-
''Oh god, I am cheering for Kaiba of all people to win.'' The darkened blond head tells himself, feeling all so wrong in his stomach. ''I hate this.''
Kaiba looks at his hand and cracks a smirk, having a flawless hand to win.
''Go on, you can have your first turn.'' Kaiba proclaims with a small smirk, his arms crossed as he further taunts his opponent. ''But don't assume I'll be helpless unlike Momomiya.''
Kojan doesn't reply as he commences the first turn.
Duel Screen: Turn 1_ Kaiba: 4000LP H: 5 / Kojan: 4000LP H: 5
''…'' Kojan draws his top card silently and eyes it. He doesn't bother looking at the rest of his cards as he proclaims calmly. ''Turn end.''
Kaiba's cold gazed eyes actually staggered in utter shock. Impossible. Why would he end his turn with nothing on his field? Not even a set card.
''Is this a joke?'' Kaiba questions him, irritated. ''Are you trying to mock me?''
Kojan simply smirks, taunting him. ''Why don't you try attacking me and find out?''
Duel Screen: Turn 2_ Kaiba: 4000LP H: 5 / Kojan: 4000LP H: 6
Kaiba glares, going to make him pay greatly.

Chaos MAX roars, spreading its wings as they open up its feather-like fins and then opens up its fangs. Swirls of dark blue energy manifests between its fangs.
''Burst Stream of Chaos!'' Kaiba commands as his dragon fires its destructive blast as well as its wing fins. The beams all fire towards Kojan as he slowly reaches to the card he drew before and slides it into his Duel Disk Graveyard slot.
''… I discard Shien's Defender from my hand, activating its effect to end your Battle Phase.'' Kojan begins to proclaim as a small monkey-like samurai with large shields appears and blocks Kaiba's energy blast, nullifying it to Kaiba's shock. Jonouchi also can't believe it.

''Synchro Summon! Rise, Legendary Six Samurai – Shi En!'' Kojan shouts as emerging out of the light, flying into the sky is Shi En, letting out a strong shout as he flexes his arms as its cape-like wings spread widely.

Kojan pretends to ignore his stupidity. Both Shien and Shi En gaze at the other and simply scoff, facing towards Kaiba. Seto scoffs, realizing the meaning behind this play.
''So I see…'' Kaiba begins to see the reason for both monsters other than power, revealing it. ''Shien's effect forces me to only activate 1 activated Spell or Trap per turn and Shi En can negate a Spell or Trap too but it won't lock me from using my cards.''
Kojan simply smirks, rather impressed he realized it.
''Ha! It changes nothing!'' Kaiba then mocks Kojan's little stun play as he has two powerful dragons to deal with them later.
''… Not finished yet.'' Kojan proclaims, just only getting started as he announces. ''Kyoutou Waterfront's effect sends 3 Kaiju Counters so I can add a Kaiju monster from my Deck.''

Appearing temporarily is a guard-like armored dark pink female warrior with a large shield but spear-like blade weapon. Kaiba staggers with concern as both Shien and Shi En let out fierce shouts, going up at 3200ATK and surpassing Alternative White in ATK.
''Battle.'' Kojan declares, going to finish this as he orders. ''Shi En, attack Alternative White Dragon!''
Shi En grabs onto the grip of his sheathed Katana blade and withdraws it, twirling the elegant yet deathly razor sharp edged blade. He then flies towards Blue-Eyes with quick pace speed, readying himself to swing his blade forward.
''Sh En Blade!'' Kojan shouts as Shi En gets close to swing his blade but Kaiba immediately counters, flipping one of his set cards. ''Reverse trap open, The Ultimate Creature of Destruction!''
The card flips open but Kojan immediately counters it. ''I counter by activating Shi En's effect, negating your trap's effect!''
Shi En raises his other hand as Kojan shouts as that hand is charged with dark crimson electricity. ''Shi En Break!''
Shi En unleashes a lightning bolt from his fingertip, zapping, negating and destroying Kaiba's trap. However, Seto scoffs as he declares confidently. ''Then I respond by activating the trap, Crush Dimension Virus!''
His set card flips over, showing the spreads of Crush Card Virus entering through other worlds by dimensional wormholes. Kaiba resumes, banishing nearly everything in his hand and field. ''I release the DARK monster King of D to banish my hand until I have 1 card in my hand and my field but 1 card is banished and then I banish all cards you control!''
He banishes all but 1 card in his hand and all monsters, keeping only Blue-Eyes Abyss Dragon and 1 card in Kaiba's hand to Kojan's confusion.
''Impressive…'' Kojan begins to say as the trap begins spreading the virus. He smirks as he calls him out. ''But I activate Gameciel's effect.''

The giant turtle Kaiju breathes out a blast of high pressure water from its mouth, hitting and consuming Kaiba's card to his dismay. He braces as his trap is negated and banished too.
Smirking, Kojan then declares. ''Now my attack resumes.''
Shi En resumes swinging his blade and slashes through, destroying Abyss Dragon.
Kaiba braces the explosion, taking 800 of damage. He refuses to use Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon just yet. Another card is sent to the Graveyard, triggering the Field Spell again.

Shien comes dashing forward right at Kaiba as Kojan commands. ''Shien Blade!''

''If this attack lands, Kaiba is-'' He begins to utter out, actually worried for the prideful duelist but Kaiba protests loudly, almost annoyed by him. ''Silence, deadbeat!''
Jonouchi is taken back, shocked as he utters out in fury. ''H-HEY! I'm actually showing concern for you!''
Scoffing at his words, Kaiba tells him. ''Save it for someone who cares.''
Kaiba gazes calmly yet cold towards Kojan, responding confidently. ''I don't plan to lose to him.''
Kojan glares back coldly, not understanding this man but he will get that his pride is just as egoist as an Uchiha. Still, it doesn't mean anything since his attack will-
''The moment you attack me directly, I activate Goddess of Sweet Revenge from my hand!'' Kaiba, raising his hand forward, suddenly declares as a card manifests into his fingers. The card shines and appears as a beautiful, long ponytail haired woman with strange red tattoo markings across her cheek and forehead. She wears a green, golden design shoulderless dress as she wields a golden staff with a bird-like staff tip that glows bright green with red eyes.
''Nani?'' Kojan mutters out, unfamiliar with this card. Then again, he's unfamiliar with all of this.
''This card can only be activated if I control no cards on my field or hand except for this card.'' Kaiba begins to explain as he points at Kojan's field. ''I destroy as many cards as possible!''
''Come again?'' Kojan questions as Kaiba orders loudly. ''Vanish from my sight!''
The Goddess raises her staff, chanting in a musical-like voice and the staff shines and releases a wave of green energy, coming right at Kojan's field. It hits everything as Kojan proclaims, bracing himself with his arms. ''Kyoutou Waterfront can prevent its own destruction by sending a Kaiju Counter from it. Plus Shien's Defender's effect banishes itself to prevent the destruction of my samurais.''
The Field Spell and Kojan's Six Samurais as well as Great Shogun Shien are untouched while Gameciel is destroyed.

Kojan doesn't even care about the jet dragon as he declares. ''You can summon any number of dragons; Shi En will destroy any of them.''
He grabs the last card in his hand and announces, setting it face-down. ''I set this face-down card. Now my turn is done.''

Kojan just smirks as he declares confidently. ''Doesn't matter. Shi En can negate anything you play.''
''And what of it?'' Kojan immediately frowns at Kaiba's words as he gazes firmly. Kaiba then proclaims, spreading his right arm to his side as a gust of wind blows below him. ''Allow me to show you the transcended potential of my power!''
Kojan looks at him, not following it but he can feel something; something strong is about to appear.
''Appear, Legendary Dragon! Critias, Legendary Dragon of Unbeatable Force!'' Seto shouts, summoning the card he drew. Light shines in all directions as the Legendary Dragon Critias appears onto the field, roaring loudly.

The trap manifests and Critias merges with it. Kojan scoffs as he can't negate this effect.
''Fusion Summon! Appear, Tyrant Burst Dragon!'' Kaiba summons forth as the evolved Critias with stronger wings and sharper, stronger body appears.

Cracking a smirk, Kaiba then announces as he raises his arm up high. ''Blue-Eyes, Tyrant Burst, fuse!''
Now that surprises Kojan, uttering out in dismay. ''What?!''
Chuckling, Kaiba explains as Blue-Eyes begin to glow as it roars. ''This Fusion Summon can be performed when Blue-Eyes White Dragon is equipped to a Fusion Monster.''
Blue-Eyes roar louder as its body changes and Kaiba summons forth. ''Now appear my tyrant soul and partner, Blue-Eyes Tyrant Burst Dragon!''
The light dies out as Blue-Eyes emerges with its body having the features of Tyrant Burst Dragon, gaining Critias' Gem forehead and its wings glowing bright yellow of energy. The new Blue-Eyes lets out a fierce roar, echoing the field.

Kojan glares, irritated as Kaiba then announces serious. ''I banish Blue-Eyes Abyss Dragon to increase the ATK of my dragons by 1000!''
Both Blue-Eyes monsters shot up by a 1000 by Abyss's effect. Kaiba snickers sinister, having the means to finally win. With Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon's effect to attack all monsters, even this worm will have no means to win. And if his set card is a Trap card that will be used against Tyrant Burst, it will be pointless.
''This duel is already over.'' Kaiba tells himself mentally, more than sure he has won. He also has Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon's effect: if it battles, it will return 1 card on the field back to the owner's hand. He can deal with Shi En and win.

Suigetsu sighs, not going to bother to argue with him. Selvaria is also quiet, knowing how men are stubborn about their missions.
Karin tries her best to not giggle at how cool Sasuke is until she feels something and alarms him of someone sensing them. ''Sasuke, we're being tracked.''
''No doubt about the Dragon Knight. Block him, Karin.'' Sasuke commands her, certain it's Yugi trying to get in his way again.

Kojan staggers, his senses from that aura blocked. Groaning, he could tell that aura was… no doubt, Sasuke, Itachi's younger brother. And his aura read only hatred towards Itachi. He can't let him kill Itachi. He can't.
''Time to end this. Battle-'' Seto begins to commence his Battle Phase but in that exact moment, Kojan places his draw hand's palm over his deck, surrendering.
Duel Screen: Surrender... Seto Kaiba: 3200LP vs. Kojan Uchiha: 0LP
The monsters vanish to Kaiba's shock, seeing the hand over Kojan's deck.
''H-he just surrendered? Why?'' Jonouchi begins to question in disbelief, not imagining someone like this guy would forfeit. Guess not all people with pride think the same.
''I got no time for these games.'' Kojan proclaims as the Duel Disk shuts down and begins walking away. Kaiba does not take it well, snapping as he shouts furiously. ''YOU DAMN COWARD! You have no pride or respect of a duelist to surrender a duel against anyone, including me!''
Kojan scoffing, backhand waving goodbye as he says. ''My Pride is more important to be held back by a simple card game. Another time, probably. Besides, I didn't want to waste a few more minutes in beating you.''
Seto widens his eyes enraged as he begins charging at him but Kojan vanishes in a gust of wind. Gritting his teeth furious, Kaiba utters out enraged. "… I hate him.''
''Yea, we can get on board on that.'' Jonouchi agrees with him, for once. Now Kaiba feels disgusted about this even more.
Akumu snickers, having watched the whole thing and can't help but find this Uchiha runt be that skillful, almost like a younger Madara. Meh, less likely.
Evangeline giggles at how cold and focus minded this Kojan is. No wonder he had no interest to face her; he has someone he wishes to murder. Though, it doesn't change what she plans to do with him once she goes after him.
''Things are becoming interesting huh?'' Evangeline mutters, smirking to see what happens next. Akumu nods in agreement, uttering out. ''Very.''
Kojan continues his streak in defeating more of Team Dragon Knight but will his message be reached and his goal to save Itachi before it's too late?

Author's Note: It is kinda funny how Kojan taunts are rather… Informative. I am referring to how he is pointing out Naruto's weakness as well as Ruby's. Heck, even Kaiba's too though he's too proud to listen.
Oh no, an undecided duel that Kojan surrendered. WELL… Kojan isn't like Kaiba, invested in a duel till the bitter end. So for him to give up is fine but don't worry, maybe this duel will be finished in the future. Time will only tell. That and maybe Kojan could have survived Kaiba's play... OR not. Who knows?!
Next time… Kojan's assault continues with Alicia's group.
