Hello to all! This is Episode 62 of the arc: The Pursuit!
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 5: Episode 62: The Dark Knight's Path! Part 4!
In the previous episode of DKR:
Yugi and Ichigo came across Ed's group, injured and learned it was Kojan's doing. Yugi felt horrible even though the others said it wasn't his fault. Regardless, this is his responsibility to stop Kojan. He decided to look for the other groups as Ichigo stayed behind to heal the others while Ichigo felt uneasy, not wanting to fail him.
Meanwhile, Judai's group had crossed paths with Kojan too as Alicia and Shadow. Much like the other team, Kojan overpowered the team with brute force and skills. Even the Ultimate Lifeform couldn't fight the Dragon Knight Uchiha.
Kojan defeated them but Judai stood in his way, challenging him to a duel to stop him. Kojan scoffed at the idea, refusing but Judai stated the importance of a duel like he learned in Duel Academia and how even Yugi would accept the challenge. Triggered by that, Kojan took on his challenge.
The duel started with Judai playing strong with two HERO Fusion Monsters but Kojan overpowered it with his Kaiju cards while mocking the idea that Yugi could ever inspire others. However, Judai turned the tables with Neos but Kojan responded with more Kaijus and Six Samurai. Through a miracle, Judai then summoned forth Elemental HERO Solar Neos. With it, Judai defeated Kojan. However, Kojan was not beaten from his quest as he was about to fight Judai but chose to leave… until he was intercepted by Kurosaki and Haruto.
Can these two do anything against Kojan?
What will happen next?

Akumu and Evangeline watch with such delight as Kojan is confronting more of Team Dragon Knight and learning more of his abilities. But the interesting part is how well he handles a Shinigami and a rider.
"Well-well…'' Evangeline mutters out with a small grin. Akumu just grins wildly, proclaiming eagerly. ''This will be something again.''
Evangeline hums at his excitement, simply smiling as she asks him in a tease. ''You're enjoying this a bit too much.''
''Aren't you?'' Akumu questions her with a small grin.
Evangeline just grins in agreement. The two hold each other, watching the show.
Judai just smiles, amazed Kurosaki and Haruto arrive to save their butts. Alicia sighs of relief while Shadow grunts, not needing help.
Kojan has a mixed face of excitement but annoyance on his luck to find the so-called Team Dragon Knight. He doesn't have time for them yet his inner Uchiha just wants to sweep them. Such bad timing.
''Well, my luck with you people finding me is getting better.'' Kojan proclaims with a small smirk, trying to act cocky but he's not happy. Kurosaki glares with a cold scowl expression, looking at the others and immediately questions him, mad and pissed. ''Damn bastard, why are you attacking my friends!''
Kojan doesn't answer, trying to sense Itachi's aura again. This annoys Ichigo, yelling at him again. ''Oi, I'm-''
''I'm listening to you, Shinigami, but you're not going to beat me.'' Gazing at his yelling, Kojan responds coldly. Kurosaki glares madly, already pissed off by what he has done and can only imagine he has already attacked the others. Even though he's a friend to Yugi; he's still going to kick his ass.
''How about with this?'' Ichigo shouts, withdrawing Zangetsu from his back and points forward, shouting even louder. ''BAN-KAI!''
Black, red outline energy erupts all over Kurosaki before he transforms into his Bankai state. Kojan gazes calmly, his Sharingan eyes active as he can see and feel the eminence of Spiritual Energy coursing through his body.
''I won't forgive you for hurting those who did nothing to you, especially since they're my friends!'' The orange haired Ichigo proclaims loudly, going to make him pay. Kojan glares firmly, uttering out with irritation across his voice. ''… I won't forgive you for getting in my way.''
The two glare before they vanish and suddenly blitz across the battlefield, slashing the other in counters and parries. Kurosaki is shocked he can keep up with Tensa Zangetsu's speed and power as Kojan can even dodge most of his swings with his precise Sharingan eyes.
Haruto can't even keep up with them, shrugging it off as he checks up on the others.
''You guys holding up well?'' He asks them with Shadow sneering angrily. Judai sighs with Alicia saying pretty shaken up but still holding her own. ''He's really strong, Haruto. Terrifying.''
Haruto frowns, looking back as he can see the two fighting and regardless of how insanely fast Ichigo is coming at the other Dragon Knight, Kojan is literally moving so fast he's across the forest at the same time almost like clones but more like mirages.
Ichigo looks around, unable to tell one of them apart to be the real deal. Instead, he'll do brute force. Gripping on his blade as black, red outline energy erupts from the jet-black blade, Kurosaki shouts as he slams his blade downward, kneeling down as his blade pierces the ground. ''GETSUGA TENSHO!''
He fires a geyser of Getsuga Tensho below him, consuming himself but expanding wildly, consuming all of the Body Flicker copies of Kojan in one fell swoop. The others watch with Alicia getting on her knees. She knows Kurosaki is massively strong especially when he's mad but Kojan is something else above even him.
The geyser of Spiritual Energy dies out as Ichigo stands back up, looking around to not see any of the fakes surviving.
''I thought Shinigami had more tricks than a simple blast.'' Kurosaki widens his eyes as Kojan is standing behind him, completely unscratched and pretty relaxed. As the Substitute Shinigami twirls around rapidly with a sword swing, Kojan unleashes Raikiri Shockwave. Able to react with the electricity coursing through his body, Ichigo dodges it and moves away.
''Hate to disappoint you but I'm not the type of Shinigami that knows Kido or has crazy abilities stack in my Zanpakuto…'' Kurosaki begins to tell the talented Dragon Knight with all of his crazy tricks but he has one thing this guy doesn't have: Trust in his blade. He declares, holding forward his Zanpakuto. ''But I believe in Zangetsu! This blade and I, we fight to protect as many as we can!''
Kojan scoffs at his nonsense and calls him out unimpressed. ''With such diminish power, I doubt it.''
Kurosaki glares at him, not believing this is someone Yugi respects.
''Then I won't hold-'' Ichigo begins to declare, reaching with his free hand over his face but as he does, Kojan declares as his Sharingan eyes glow directly to Ichigo's eyes. ''You're not even my concern. Sleep.''
Immediately, Kurosaki feels dizzy as his body has been shredded apart and then disintegrated. In reality, Ichigo drops face-forward onto the ground
''Kurosaki!'' Haruto utters out, shocked by what just happened. Could this be that illusion ability that guy used against the evil little girl Evangeline?
''I have someone more important to focus my attention.'' Kojan proclaims, thinking of Itachi… yet he can't help but smirk as he turns to gaze towards Haruto. He's much about Wizard but not just him but of other Kamen Riders. Most don't compare to an Uchiha, others actually give them a challenge but there are 10 who would give an Uchiha a fight and might actually beat on. It's stupid but his pride and his want to become stronger as a Dragon Knight demands him to challenge the strongest and surpass them.
''But I can't help but pass down the chance to fight a Kamen Rider. Nonetheless one of the so-called strongest.'' Kojan declares, pointing his Dragon Rakurai towards Haruto. He looks at him, questioning the Uchiha. ''So you heard of us then?''
''Somewhat.'' Kojan taunts his question before asking him his own. ''Heard one of you could be some kind of Destroyer?''
''Maybe.'' Haruto responds, shrugging his shoulders to make him think he doesn't know. Kojan smirks as he says, taking on a fighting pose. ''But this is a good chance to see if a Dragon Knight can defeat a rider.''
He comes at him only for the Bind spell is still in effect; multiple chains shooting out towards Kojan. He's forced to slash them down, moving away. Haruto flips the levers of his belt as the Wizardriver chants. ''SHABADOOBIE, TOUCH TO HENSHIN!''
''I see why Yugi is a humble Dragon Knight.'' Haruto says, flipping the Flame Wizard Ring downward and declaring, sliding the hand over his belt. ''Henshin!''
''FLAME, PLEASE!'' The Wizardriver announces as Haruto moves to his side as the red magical circle appears and moves, overlapping his body as the belt chants. ''HI-HI, HI-HI-HI!''
The circle vanishes in flames, revealing Haruto transformed into Kamen Rider Wizard.
''It's Showtime!'' Wizard declares, holding his left hand ring towards Kojan before he walks up at him. Kojan gazes as he walks up before he vanishes. Wizard reacts, waving his arms to his side and intercepts Kojan's sword swing. Kojan oddly smirks as he swings a kick which Wizard tosses him to the side and times his own kick, clashing the other's kick. It pushes them both backwards as Wizard switches the ring in his right hand and slides it over his belt, flipping the left lever first.
''CONNECT, PLEASE!'' The Wizardriver announces as a red portal manifests on his right side and he reaches it in with his right hand, pulling out the WizarSwordGun. He twirls the weapon in Gun Form, firing a barrage of bullets in which Kojan responds, tossing his sword upward as he throws multiple electrical shurikens with both hands. The throwing weapons and bullets clash and cancel each other out.
Kojan then forms hand seals as he inhales deeply.
''FIRE RELEASE!'' He utters out before he exhales forward, unleashing a blast of flames as a massive fireball. ''GREAT FIREBALL TECHNIQUE!''
The large fireball charges towards Wizard who walks up slowly. The flames consume him and explode but only for the flames to be absorbed inside the Flame Wizard Ring. Kojan, catching his Drago Rakurai as it finally falls, watches as Wizard just stands there unfazed before he scrolls right towards him.
Scoffing, Kojan inhales again as he leaps up.
''WIND RELEASE!'' Kojan utters out as he exhales and unleashes his wind Jutsu. ''AIR BURST!''
He shoots out bigger Air Bullets, shooting out at Wizard. The rider, still walking calmly, takes aim upward and fires energy shots from his gun, hitting the large air bullets and they explode. Kojan still fires more while Wizard leaps around, dodging them as he switches rings in his right hand and slides his hand over his belt, backflipping multiple air shots.
''BIG, PLEASE!'' The Wizardriver proclaims as Wizard thrusts his arm as a red magical circle manifests and his arm comes out massive, slapping away the air bullets. Kojan widens his eyes as Wizard swings his arm downward, about to stomp the Uchiha but Kojan dodges around it by dashing to the side and jumps on the front of the massive head before dashing right at Wizard but the rider pulls his arm out of the magical circle as he swings a kick through the kick, manifesting a giant leg. Kojan panics as he moves downward to continue his charge but then gets blasted by Wizard's gun, firing fire shots.
Kojan is launched backwards as Wizard pulls out of the magical circle, vanishing. Flapping off dirt on his clothes, Kojan smirks as he slams his free hand on the ground.
''EARTH RELEASE!'' Kojan begins to shout as the ground quakes and the ground cracks open. ''ROCK ERUPTION!''
Wizard backs away as the holes of the ground shoot out large magma rocks towards him. He switches rings in his right hand and slides it over his belt.
''DEFEND, PLEASE!'' The Wizardriver announces as he raises his hand towards the rocks coming at him and manifests a fiery barrier. The magma rocks hit the barriers and immediately they melt on impact.
However, Kojan appears right at his left side, swinging his sword as Wizard. Having switched his WizarSwordGun into Sword Form, Wizard counter-swings and intercepts the slash. Sparks fly out as the two parts away and come charging, clashing and intercepting expertly sword swings. Kojan still smiles as he swings lightning fast swings but Wizard moves away with somersault flame kicks, forcing Kojan to back away from the intense heat.
The two continue clashing but Wizard twirl swings his sword so precisely it lifts Kojan's sword hand upward to his surprise. Wizard then thrusts his blade forward while Kojan's eyes glow and the thrust moves towards the right and misses him entirely. Wizard staggers as Kojan shouts, using his free hand to form a Raikiri. ''RAIKIRI BLADE!''
He grips his hand as he transmutes the lightning to take on the form of an electrical katana blade. He swings with his blade and slashes Wizard, sparks of damage and electricity fly across him. Kojan then kicks him far as he shoots out wire from his wristband, wrapping up the paralyzed rider with his thin, super strong wire. Kojan swings him around, smacking the rider across multiple trees as he slams him downward on the ground.
The group watches as Wizard stands up, still wrapped up and damaged.
''WATER RELEASE!'' Kojan begins to shout, inhaling as he shoots outward from his mouth. ''WATER SEVERING WAVE!''
A very thin water blast shoots out from his mouth, moving rapidly as it pierces through trees in its way.
In the last second, Wizard burns up and the wires melt as he rolls around, barely dodging the piercing water shot. Kojan still fires as Wizard continues moving away from the water shots, switching rings in his left hand and slides it over his belt.
''HURRICANE, PLEASE!'' The Wizardriver announces as Wizard leaps up as Kojan still follows his movements and fires more water blasts at him. As the sharp lethal shots reach Wizard, a green magical circle manifests over him as Wizard is moved upward, entering it as a burst of wind repels the water.
''FU-FU, FU-FU-FU-FU!'' The Wizardriver chants as Wizard emerges from the vanishing circle in Hurricane Style, flying right towards Kojan as he fires wind energy shots from his weapon. Kojan dodges them, even slashing them as he comes leaping at him with insane lightning speed. Wizard, switching his weapon to Sword Form again, dashes with an aura of green wind that lets him move faster.
The two clash around as wind and lightning course throughout the battlefield. Alicia cannot even keep up with them but she can tell Wizard is not as fast as Kojan who can move at lightning speed, kicking Wizard around like a pinball before he's ax-kicked onto the ground.
Alicia panics as Shadow gets up, going to have to face Kojan after all. Judai, though, watches as Wizard pulls himself up from the ground. Kojan scoffs, descending slowly from the sky as he calls him out. ''You can change into any form you want. These eyes of mine can overcome anything.''
Wiping dirt off his coat, Wizard oddly chuckles as he switches rings in his left hand, now wielding the Hurricane Dragon Ring.
''You sure about that?'' Wizard asks him, flipping both levers of his belt before he slides his left hand over his belt.
''HURRICANE, DRAGON!'' The Wizardriver chants as it lifts Wizard upward by the green magical circle manifesting behind him. Just then a green energy version of Wizardragon emerges and circles around Wizard as the Wizardriver chants excitedly. ''BYU-BYU, BYU-BYU-BYU-BYU!"
The green becomes hurricane as it explodes and Wizard descends, fully transformed into his Dragon form of Hurricane Style. Much like the other Dragon forms, the black trench coat of Wizard's has become green, more of a dragon design like on the chest and the Hurricane Style helmet is more dragon-like and upgraded.

Wizard breathes, posing strongly with his arms before moving his left hand towards Kojan and simply hand-taunts him. Kojan stares and can't help but smirk as he dashes right at him, lightning fast only for Wizard to suddenly move to the left and reflects the sword swing from Kojan with his arms. This shocks the Uchiha as Wizard then swings a strong kick across his face, smacking him hard.
Kojan is tossed upward as Wizard comes charging at him. Kojan, though, smirks as he kicks his foot on the ground, launching up high. He then forms the Horse Hand Seal, shouting loudly. ''FIRE RELEASE: GREAT FIRE ANNIHILATION!''
He breathes a massive wave of intense flames like an ocean wave. Alicia gasps loudly but Wizard chuckles, holding up his right hand which has a different ring as he slides it over his belt.
''VERY NICE! SPECIAL!'' The Wizardriver announces as the magical circle shoots out a green energy version of Wizardragon, flying around Wizard before hitting into his back. ''THE BEST!''
The intense flames hit Wizard but the strong torrent of wind repels the flames with ease.
Soon a pair of large dragon wings belonging to Wizardragon manifests on Wizard's back. They flap, releasing strong currents of wind that blow away the rest of the flames.
Kojan scoffs as he tries to do something only for Wizard to fly right at him, delivering a hand palm strike across his chest followed by a swift kick across his face. It slams Kojan through multiple tree branches but he bounces off and takes flight. Wizard follows in hot pursuit. Kojan turns around and comes swinging, now with both his swords but Wizard dodges and intercepts the swings with his WizarSwordGun.
The two clash around but now Wizard is much faster, able to kick and score thrusting punches across him. Kojan glares as he shouts, crossing his arms as electricity builds up across his body. ''DRAGONAUN RAIGEKI!''
Wizard switches rings in his right hand as Kojan releases his powerful electricity blast through his sword. The rider immediately slides his hand over his belt as it glows
''VERY NICE! THUNDER!'' The Wizardriver announces as Wizard aims his right hand at the electric attack and a green magical circle manifests in front of him. ''THE BEST!''
The magical circle shoots out a green energy, electrical version of Wizardragon and flies at Kojan's electrical dragon, consuming and absorbing the opposing electricity. Kojan startles as the dragon comes at him with a roar but his eyes widen; his Sharingan changes as the tomoe seals spin around and change; the pupils become a twisted red colored, inverted-like shuriken shape as his irises turn black and black lining in an oval shape form.
The electrical dragon suddenly dissolves and vanishes, revealing Kojan unscratched. Wizard watches this, surprised while Alicia has seen this happen already.
''Just like back then.'' She utters out and soon notices the change of Kojan's eyes. They look different from the Sharingan eyes but still resemble them. She soon realizes what is going on, uttering out. ''It's his eyes.''
Wizard also notices that it's those eyes from what he did to that little girl.
Kojan slowly cracks a smirk as Mangekyou Sharingan is the strongest, proclaiming proudly. ''Your attacks will never hit me. My eyes repel even reality!''
''Why though?'' Wizard questions him as Judai is even thinking the same thing. Kojan doesn't answer as he comes charging with insane speed. Wizard switches rings as he flaps his dragon wings, releasing a burst of wind from all over his body. The blast takes Kojan, who appears on Wizard's left, in surprise but partly as he thrusts his right arm, shouting. ''DRAGONAUN RAIKIRI PIERCE!''
His Dragon Rakurai engulfs in Dragonaun Raikiri electricity, coming right at him but the dragon flaps, releasing strong hurricane winds that blows Kojan onto a tree who leaps back, glaring mad.
''Then I'll try harder.'' Wizard declares, opening up the fisted hand of his weapon, chanting. ''COME ON A SLASH, SHAKE HANDS!''
Wizard then slides his right hand over his weapon as it announces. ''COPY, PLEASE!''
A magical circle manifests and overlaps over the WizarSwordGun, creating a second WizarSwordGun on Wizard's free hand. Wizard soon twirls his weapons elegantly, switching them both into Gun Form.
Kojan glares, charging at him as does Wizard, firing a barrage of bullets from his dual weapons. Kojan sees them coming and proceeds to reflect each of the bullets, slashing them down but more still fire at him but Kojan moves away fast.
''Damn it. He actually has decent range.'' Kojan says mentally, complaining about Wizard's many tricks. He tries unleashing multiple Great Fireballs as Wizard flips the fisted hand of his gun weapon into a high five palm. ''COME ON A SHOOTING, SHAKE HANDS!''
''HURRICANE SHOOTING STRIKE!'' The WizarSwordGun announces as Wizard takes aim with his gun, swirls of wind gather into the barrel of his weapon.
''FU-FU-FU! FU-FU-FU!'' He fires a powerful burst of multiple air energy shots but stronger than from Hurricane Style. Each air shots counters and blasts Kojan's fireballs and the bullets still continue to instantly hit him, covering him in smoke
The group watches as the smoke clears and Kojan reveals it is unscratched. He breathes, forming the ribcage of his Susanoo at the last moment. He drops the form only to get an instant knee kick by Wizard, flying in massive and then kicked right into multiple trees.
''He hit him!'' Judai says with a grin. Shadow scoffs, rolling his eyes unimpressed.
Wizard lands on the ground, breathing calmly as his dragon wings still flap. He watches as Kojan stopped at the fourth tree, reforming his ribcage but still had taken the damage.
The young Uchiha chuckles, admitting that was not half bad. Now, he has to fight him just as seriously.
''Lucky hit. But I'm just warming-'' Kojan begins to say, twirling his blade for a Dragonaun Raigeki but before he can, a voice speaks up. ''Oi, we're not finished yet.''
Kojan immediately widens his eyes as he turns his head around slowly and behind him is Kurosaki, glaring as he has on his Hollow Mask, hissing as his Hollow Eyes gaze truly pissed. Kojan glares actually scared, flinching and immediately Ichigo roars, swinging Tensa Zangetsu which the blade is wrapped in energy. ''GETSUGA TENSHO!''
The blade releases a blast of black, red outline energy-like explosion, consuming everything. However, Kojan dashes out of the way, breathing heavily with some burn marks. He glares, going to need to get even with him but then feels a familiar aura.
Wizard hums as Kurosaki appears beside him instantly.
''Oh? You woke up fast. What took you so long?'' Wizard asks the Substitute Shinigami, having a feeling he would wake up. Ichigo groans that he managed to wake up… by his Inner Hollow. His damn laugh got him to wake up.
''I had… help.'' Ichigo simply tells, sounding pissed and immediately changes subject, going to beat Kojan. ''Let's beat him, Wizard!''
Wizard chuckles a bit as he switches rings in his right hand and responds, flipping the right lever of his belt. ''Then time for the finale.''
''LEPARCHI MAGIC TOUCH GO!'' The Wizardriver begins to announce, repeating that phrase 4 times. Wizard prepares to slide the ring over his belt but before he does, Kojan suddenly utters out annoyed. ''As much as I want this… I don't have time for 2v1.''

This surprises Wizard and Kurosaki. Kojan glares, having his fun but he can feel Itachi's aura and that is his biggest concern.
''Another time…'' Kojan proclaims as he vanishes in an instant. Alicia sweat drops with Shadow growling, not believing he ran off.
''Guess we won huh?'' Judai says with a grin. Wizard shrugs his shoulders, accepting that it's a win. Ichigo just groans, not feeling like this was a win.
Evangeline giggles, really impressed how skilled that Wizard is, still showing off more of his potential as was Kojan. The orange spike head with the sword was also interesting. Still, all of this helps her understand their powers and abilities for future encounters.
''Now that was really fun.'' Akumu comments with a smirk, having learned much too. Evangeline giggles as she says eagerly. ''All that remains is Kojan fighting against your niece so-''
''No.'' Evangeline raises an eyebrow towards Akumu who has a furious stare across his face. He then says angrily, his brown eyes turning bright red, yellow pupil dragon eyes. ''If he does fight Ichigo, I will step in and destroy that Dragon Knight. I swear it.''
Evangeline looks at him speechless, amazed he's that protective for his niece. It isn't that kind of love but actual love from family. How odd to Evangeline since… She lost something like that long ago. It wouldn't be bad… if she earns that kind of family love again.
With insane speed still in his Rising Limit, Kojan dashes across the forest, still breathing from the damage he took but he isn't even drained or hurt. Besides, he cannot stop as he feels Itachi's aura again. He's so close that-
Kojan snaps as he utters out, seeing a figure up ahead. ''That's…''
Dashing in with no hesitation, Kojan arrives in a dark open field where crows surround the area. He ignores them, staring at the male in the Akatsuki cloak with his back turned. No doubt about it, feeling him correctly. Kojan frowns softly, not sure how to feel before he yells out of joy yet distress. ''ITACHI!''
The male turns half way, revealing to be Itachi. He looked at him, almost not recognizing him but his soft, sadden face made it clear who he was.
''You've grown, Kojan.'' Itachi says, turning around to face him fully. He actually smiles a bit, almost seeing Shisui in Kojan… but at the same time sees the darkness in Kojan's very eyes. Itachi frowns slightly as he also reveals. ''But I can see you have accepted the depths of the darkness.''
''I'm not the same child as back then.'' Kojan tells him firmly, not caring what he sees in him as he's grown since the last time they met, that fateful night. Kojan activates his Mangekyou Sharingan eyes, surprising Itachi as his eyes are an inverse to Shisui's.
''With these eyes, I can see everything and slay the ones who doomed our clan and then…'' Kojan begins to say, his eyes gaze with such hatred for one man and vows in the memory of the one who shouldn't have died. ''Avenge those closest in my heart!''
Itachi is quiet, aware that Kojan has grown: He's no longer the boy who wants to be a ninja because he found it amazing. He frowns, wishing Kojan didn't lose that.
Calming down as his eyes reverted back to normal, Kojan then asks of the older Uchiha. ''Itachi, don't die by whatever you're planning to do.''
''… So you know.'' Itachi utters out, amazed he knows what he's planning. Could it be that dragon that-
''Onii-san wouldn't want you to submit to a crime you had no way of avoiding!'' Kojan then resumes speaking, reminding him of what his brother would have preferred for the friend he considered a brother.
Itachi knows how Shisui would feel but it doesn't change anything, telling him. ''Shisui knows me better than anyone else. He knew I was the only one who could protect Konoha.''
''But dying for it is NOT right!'' Kojan protests, enraged he made himself a monster because of what the rest of the clan were aiming to do. He grits angrily, asking for his help. ''Please… Help me in changing this damn chain of hate and put down the ones who damned us all.''
Itachi looks at him and sighs, expressing firmly. ''It's too late for me but not for you. But Kojan…''
He points his finger at Kojan and tells him. ''Don't let your hatred cloud you.''
Kojan hisses at those words and tells him off, worried more about Itachi's health. ''LIKE HELL DO I CARE ABOUT THAT!''
''… You should trust in the friend who is trying to reach you.'' Itachi expresses, thinking of Yugi and sees the two just like how he and Shisui were. ''Like how Shisui was there for me.''
Kojan grits his teeth angrily, uttering out madly. ''… I don't need those like him.''
He holds up the Dragon Rakurai, changing into the Dragon Sword as he declares proudly. ''Absolute strength and my determination is what will save our clan from our curse and change things!''
These words are implanted by the teacher he had, showing him how to become stronger and with an iron resolve to never back down. But even if he can't do this alone, he needs help from the one person he can count on… the last person he can at least consider being family.
''Itachi-Onii-san, I need your help. I can't do this without-'' Kojan, once again, asks for his help but like last time, Itachi refuses, humbly. ''Like I said, it's too late for me.''
Kojan grunts, upset. Itachi looks at him, saddened that he didn't have plans for Kojan. He had wished that he would have raised him better but… it seems he had changed too.
''I wish I had more time. I wanted to give you something but the time will come for you to get it.'' Itachi says as his eyes narrow and upset. ''I can only hope that whatever light remains in your eyes don't die out before then.''
This startles Kojan, questioning. ''What do you mean by that?''
''...'' Itachi doesn't reply to him as he simply asks him. ''Watch over Sasuke for me.''
Immediately Itachi explodes into smoke to Kojan's surprise, realizing it's a Shadow Clone.
''A Shadow Clone?!'' He mutters out, not realizing it was a clone. Kojan frowns, worrying with what Itachi last said as if he… no, he can't let that happen.
''Like hell I'm letting things go!'' Kojan proclaims, rushing off in a hurry and trying to sense Itachi's aura. He knows he's closed and realizing where they are, there is but one place he would be in. He rushes there in a hurry, not going to let Itachi die.
Will Kojan find the real Itachi before fate says otherwise?
Commercial Break:
Haruto/Wizard: I'll admit that Kojan is someone I never faced before, he's no pushover.
Ichigo: I really hate the fact that Uchiha are this strong.
Walking alone, Mew Ichigo looks around concerned in the unchanged forest. She tried to track Yugi down and instead found herself lost. She sweat drops, really not sure where she's going.
"Eh…'' She utters out worried, pretty sure she has no idea where she's heading towards. She sighs, muttering out. ''Maybe I should have stayed with Yugi-kun Nya.''
She crosses her arms, not sure what to do but waits till a familiar face walks by and hopes for the best. She sighs defeated, head lowered down and unaware that she's being watched.
Evangeline gazes towards Ichigo from the screen before turning to eye the serious Akumu and asks him about his latest statement. "You'll really fight that boy if he engages your niece.''
Akumu nods firmly about it, confirming it once more. ''I only care about killing Yugi with absolute pleasure. This Kojan is a pest I will get rid of the moment he does anything I will hate.''
She looks at him, smirking at how prideful Akumu is. He knows who his prey is to enjoy tormenting while any other is a menace that will be killed on the spot. Now she wants to watch him fight Kojan and kill him. That will-
''My lord!'' Evangeline's words are cut off as she and Akumu turn to a screen of Dark General Knight facing them. Akumu eyes him and asks him from his comfortable end. ''What is it, my general?''
''I have been observing and even though I allowed that Uchiha to destroy the aura blocking machine but…'' The dark general begins to explain himself by letting Kojan do this but then he senses another presence and informs his lord. ''I was unaware we had an unwelcome guest.''
Akumu raises an eyebrow. Dark General Knight turns away from the floating screen, glaring mad as he calls out towards thin air. ''Come out, no point hiding worm!''
Evangeline raises an eyebrow as a black crack opens up, becoming a hole. Emerging out of the whole is Ulquiorra, not even gazing towards the dark knight who glares furiously.
''One of Aizen's minions…'' Akumu mutters out angrily, already able to put 2-and-2 together that Aizen is behind them. He moves out of the throne and lets Evangeline sit on it, telling her. ''Eva-chan, watch the rest of the show.''
He turns to see Arkham and orders him, pointing his right finger at him. ''Arkham, you will make sure to prevent my niece from even crossing paths with that Dragon Knight!''
''Understood, my lord.'' Arkham promises, not planning to fail him. Arkham must not make the same mistake like he did with that backstabber, Mew Blackberry. He won't make that mistake again after now being placed in a stronger position in the Dark Lord's army.
Akumu smirks as he eyes Evangeline and promises her. ''I'll be back.''
Evangeline smiles, hoping he doesn't make her wait. Akumu soon vanishes, disappearing.
''Hmm…'' Now almost alone, Evangeline turns to the screen showing Mew Ichigo. Curling her lips into a smirk, Evangeline starts chanting a spell in Greek.
''What are you doing?'' Arkham questions her, approaching her but Evangeline simply tells him with a smirk. ''Just watch.''
Sighing as she doesn't know what she's doing, Mew Ichigo prepares to turn around to reach some higher point here to find the others until the area around her feels cold. She shivers, looking around as the forest blows across the land. She panics, gripping on her skirt as she soon notices a different path opens up. Not only that but the winds were blowing strongly, even helping her to see some kind of buildings.
''Okay Nya…'' Ichigo mutters out, realizing that is the path she could take. ''Might as well Nya.''
She walks down the path, unaware that it is the path to the Uchiha Hideout.
Arkham is shocked that Evangeline's magic can reach that far. She's a powerful mage indeed but he's more worried about what she has done.
''Why would you do that? That will lead her to where the young Uchiha is as well as that other Dragon Knight.'' Arkham reminds her and Evangeline just grins, admitting it. ''Exactly.''
Arkham is a bit surprised by such a response but he can't let things go. He must warn Akumu- no, stop Ichigo by force. He prepares to leave but finds himself wrapped in threads, connected back to Evangeline's left arm.
''I suggest you don't stop her.'' Evangeline tells him, turning to look at him and says with a sly smirk. ''You and I both know we want to see her fight that boy. And we both know why.''
''…'' Arkham is silently; amazed she too realized this insane potential within Ichigo. He too wishes to see that power come out of her and this might be the best way. Still, he cannot make the same mistake or else Akumu might kill him for real.
''But-'' Arkham begins to explain his reasons he can't but Evangeline simply giggles, telling him. ''If Akumu gets mad, he'll have to be mad towards me and only me.''
She frowns and tells him the optional. ''Unless you want to be fully loyal to him and I have to put you in a solid cube of ice, no?''
Arkham stares at her and simply chuckles as the yellow threads are suddenly cut off by his Supreme Sword. He sheathes it before telling her impressed. ''You are a convincing woman. I expect nonetheless from you, Lady Evangeline.''
Evangeline simply grins as she resumes watching as Arkham approaches to watch beside her. He might get killed after this if it doesn't end up the way he wants it. But if it does, oh… the potential he'll have will be incredible.
Walking across ancient Uchiha ruins, Sasuke approaches closer and closer to where he will confront Itachi and settle his score with him. Houndour follows behind as does Selvaria. She looks behind her, wondering how those three are doing against that Akatsuki member from the Mist that Suigetsu knew too well.
''Are you sure leaving your comrades to fight that man was a good idea?'' She asks him, concerned as that fish man was not someone weak in the slightest. She can feel he is a real threat.
Sasuke isn't that worried as he tells her. ''You can assist them. It is also personal for Suigetsu.''
''Then you don't want me with you.'' Selvaria questions him, more than certain that Sasuke doesn't want her to interfere. Sasuke then stops on his tracks, eyeing her and confirms without saying much that he wants to do this alone.
He looks down at Houndour, crouching down and pets her head.
''Take care of her.'' Sasuke asks Selvaria, not wanting her to be near the fight. Selvaria looks at him and nods, promising him.
''Dour!'' Houndour barks at him of concern, not wanting to let him go but Sasuke stands up and tells the mon and white haired woman. ''… I'll be back.''
Facing forward, Sasuke proclaims with a determined face. ''This is my destiny.''
Selvaria just stares at him, able to understand one's destiny. She was destined to be beside Maximilian or die for him but now… now she isn't sure. But if it helps him reach his destiny, then she'll do what he asks of her.
''… Fine.'' Selvaria accepts, going to watch his pet. Sasuke begins to walk forward but then tells her honestly. ''Thank you for the help, Selvaria.''
Selvaria stares at him with a look of surprise, not sure how to feel. Is this what Alicia feels for others: Kindness?
''Dour…'' Houndour whines, watching Sasuke continue walking alone. Selvaria looks down at the mon and tells her. ''It's his destiny. We can't stop him even if we stopped him.''
Houndour still whines. Sighing, Selvaria crouches down and pets her to ease her concerns. Houndour barks, blushing happy.
Now walking alone, Sasuke heads to his destination getting closer and closer.
''Almost there…'' Sasuke tells himself mentally, almost there and then he will finish things against Itachi and-
''Hey Nya.'' Sasuke staggers, stopping on his tracks. He turns to his side and Mew Ichigo is there, waving her hand at him in a cute manner.
''Momomiya…'' He utters out, calm yet obviously taken back that she's here of all places as he questions her. ''How did you get in here?''
Mew Ichigo laughs nervously, not sure herself as she says. ''Pretty lucky Nya!''
Sasuke scoffs at her humor and then questions her again. ''You're going to stop me then?''
The cat girl hums, not thinking about it till now but she just says with a soft smile. ''Nope!''
Now that surprises the young Uchiha, demanding her, puzzled. ''Then why are you here?''
Ichigo frowns slightly, not sure how to explain it to him and just tells him. ''I want to ask you something and a favor Nya.''
Sasuke looks at her, willingly listening as long as she doesn't get in his way. But what she might want better not be.
''Do you really hate your brother?'' Mew Ichigo begins to ask him, recalling the number of rants on how he wants to kill his brother for his dead clan. But, after realizing that Itachi isn't evil, Ichigo can't just let Sasuke kill someone who is family.
''I mean he hurt you really badly but…'' The Mew Mew begins to reason with him on the idea to not go through revenge kindly. ''But are you able to bring yourself to do that?''
''…'' Silent as his face forms a scowl, Sasuke begins muttering out with disdain and hate in his voice. ''Itachi had trapped me in an illusion for my whole life, pretending to my older brother and instead took the life of my clan and my family.''
Just reminded of all he put him through, Sasuke clenched his fist with such pressure that he wanted to kill him even more badly.
''I have no one because of him.'' Sasuke proclaims, recalling the dead bodies of his parents and Itachi placing him under… that damn Genjutsu to break him apart. He grits his teeth slightly, declaring coldly. ''I will not forgive him. All I want, all I wish to see is his death.''
Mew Ichigo frowns, able to tell he's in such trauma and wants nothing more but to kill the man who hurt him the most. She can relate to his pain, not on the same level but she does get him. But unlike that, Sasuke has a choice and he can be with family than be truly alone, smiling a bit thinking of her family.
''Then try to ask him why. At least ask him that.'' Mew Ichigo tries reasoning him about his brother's decisions. Sasuke just looks at her so… he doesn't even have words to describe her nonsense. Ask him why? Why did Itachi kill his clan? Why the hell should he ask such-
''Please.'' Ichigo asks him again, even bowing down politely. ''I don't want to cause any problems so please, this once Nya.''
Sasuke stares at her, not understanding her. Why does she want him to go that far? No, he shouldn't… but a part of him always wonders; why?
Sighing, Sasuke thinks and just answers him with a voice of disgust. ''I have another thing to ask him but no promises if I ask his obvious reason.''
Mew Ichigo lifts her head and smiles happily.
''Why do you care?'' Sasuke questions her, annoyed. Ichigo thinks blushing at the idea of wanting a sibling; a sister but her parents never went though. She frowns, every day of the idea to be a big sister, or little sister or any sister. In a way, she's happy when Ringo considers her as her big sister. So if she had a big sister, she isn't sure she could bring herself to kill her.
''It's not right to kill your own sibling…'' She expresses with a somber tone but then she says, looking at Sasuke to see his face of resolve. ''But I do understand you need a resolution. You suffer too much and you don't deserve that pain anymore.''
Ichigo narrows her eyes downward, thinking of Mew Blackberry. She nearly killed her, both physically and mentally. She almost lost herself to despair. She can't; she will not let her get away with all the pain she cost her.
''After all, I have my own resolution I must face one day against.'' Mew Ichigo proclaims proudly, never going to let her get away with this. ''So don't lose to Itachi but get past his illusion to see the truth Nya!''
Sasuke looks at her, believing her words. He scoffs, turning his back and just tells her. ''… Thank you, Momomiya.''
Mew Ichigo smiles softly, glad to-
''Sasuke!'' The two blink, turning to see someone appear in front of them and it's Naruto.
''Naruto-kun!'' Mew Ichigo utters out in surprise to find him here too. Sasuke turns halfway through, scoffing at his damn luck. His Sharingan eyes confirm this isn't a clone, uttering out disappointed. ''You just don't know when to quit.''
He scoffs as he starts to walk until Naruto calls him out. ''Wait, Sasuke!''
Sasuke doesn't stop so Naruto dashes in front of him and bows down, apologizing. ''Sorry.''
''…'' Speechless, Sasuke just looks dumbfounded at Naruto. Is this really Naruto? Even Ichigo blinks, really surprised. They have never begged for forgiveness so weird.
''I know I've screwed up as your friend but I don't want this to go on!'' Naruto begins to admit, acting humble for his mistakes and accepts what Sasuke wants to do. ''I will let you fight Itachi and go as far as to kill him. Just return home, return back to Konoha.''
Sasuke looks down at him, never believing Naruto of all people to submit to his terms like that.
''Sakura-san misses you a lot and Kakashi-san too!'' Naruto then says to Ichigo's confusion? San? Not Chan?
''…'' Even Sasuke notices it immediately and begins to be suspicious.
''Tell me something private that only you and I would know Naruto and then-'' Sasuke begins to question him, swiftly reaching to the handle of his blade but right away Naruto goes in an outburst, revealing the most private of secrets. ''WE KISSED ONCE!''
Silence echoes the area as Sasuke makes a face of embarrassment, reminded of… that. Sighing, he says as he pulls his hand away from his weapon. ''… Yea, it's you alright.''
Naruto just chuckles, happy to hear it. He then says, pointing his finger dramatically at him. ''I'm coming too but just so you don't sneak away.''
''… Fine.'' Sasuke accepts as he walks forward. Naruto grins, following behind him. Mew Ichigo sweat drops heavily with a blushing face, very aware of that and amazed Sasuke is fine with it… but… there's something still off about Naruto. She shouldn't but she should try it.
''Wait, Naruto-chan!'' The spiky blonde head blinks, turning as Mew Ichigo approaches him quickly and says with a wink. ''I'm surprised you managed to escape how clingy Hinata-Onee-san holds on her big brother.''
Sasuke stops and turns with a look of confusion. Hinata? Hinata Hyuuga? Clingy? That shy fangirl of Naruto's that faints by his mere presence? No. There's no way-
''Hinata-Onee-san isn't clingy, she just loves her big brother and I love her, ya know!'' Naruto just proclaims with a big smile. Now Sasuke sweat drops. Did he just say he loves her?
Smiling, Mew Ichigo responds happily. ''Exactly Nya!''
Naruto just smiles back in response. Everything seems great… Until suddenly Mew Ichigo swings such a powerful, lightning fast punch right at Naruto but he reacts and actually catches it in the palm of his hand, just nearly inches on his face. Sasuke watches this and widens his eyes to notice Naruto's eyes were Sharingan eyes.
Hissing angrily still pressuring her fist, Ichigo calls out at this faker. ''Naruto never calls Sakura-chan or Kakashi-san the way he calls them and he never calls Hinata-chan by that name AND he's too much an idiot to know that she loves him yet because he's a BAKA just like Sasuke-Baka Nya!''
Sasuke glares at her but he will have to praise the cat girl later for revealing the fake he didn't detect but that's the concern he's having right now.
''Who are you? You can't be Itachi.'' Sasuke demands this fake Naruto. Scoffing the fake pushes the cat girl's fist as his body explodes in smoke, revealing to be Kojan. Sasuke glares, not recognizing him but he's an Uchiha, no doubt about it.
''This was a waste. It's my mistake not studying the idiot and the rest.'' Kojan complains, messing up on his disguise. Mew Ichigo growls as she asks him seriously. ''So you plan to stop Sasuke-Baka from fighting Itachi then, Kojan-kun Nya?''
Sasuke gives her a glare that she called him that again but- Kojan? Why does that name sound familiar?
''…'' Kojan gazes at the pink haired girl, angry she saw through his disguise like that. Sasuke has heard enough as he declares, gripping onto his sword still sheathed. ''I don't know who the hell are you but if you're the one who helped Itachi in the massacre of our clan, I will kill you.''
''I'm not.'' Not even facing him, Kojan replies still gazing at Ichigo. Sasuke becomes more fed up that he's not even being acknowledged, declaring madder. ''Then why help him? Itachi is a monster!''
Now turning to eye him halfway through, Kojan looks at Sasuke and smirks. He doesn't remember him. Ironic.
''Your eyesight is as small as a rat's or as blind as a bat.'' Kojan comments with a smug smirk, almost mocking him. Sasuke glares even madder, questioning him. ''What do you mean by that?''
Kojan stares at him, not even answering him and instead says. ''You think what Itachi did was bad in this world of lies and secrets.''
Sasuke still doesn't follow as Kojan just sighs, saying. ''Can't be helped. You don't even remember me. Besides, I will stop anyone that interferes with my path, even if I must kill you.''
Sasuke becomes serious, activating his Sharingan eyes but to his shock Kojan activates his Mangekyou Sharingan. The young Uchiha actually freaks out. He has eyes like Itachi's?! Just staring at his eyes is like his whole body is being drowned in deep, endless water. Who the hell is he?
But before Kojan can do anything, he suddenly ducks and slides away from Mew Ichigo trying to kick him. Standing in front of him to protect him, the Mew Mew orders Sasuke with a panic tone. ''Sasuke-Baka, I'll hold him down! Go face your older brother Nya!''
Sasuke snaps out, eyeing the cat girl smiling at him.
''Momomiya…'' Sasuke mutters out, not sure how to feel but she's right; he can't risk fighting someone else when Itachi is so close by.
''At least try to remember what I ask of you Nya.'' Mew Ichigo reminds him again, looking at Kojan. The dark Dragon Knight glares as he comes dashing at her, unsheathing his Dragon Sword only for Mew Ichigo to manifest her Strawberry Bell and forms a large pink barrier, blocking his path. Kojan ignores it leaping over the barrier but the cat girl drops it and grabs his leg, throwing him hard onto the ground.
''Now go Nya!'' Ichigo shouts at him again, not having time to babysit him too. Sasuke looks at her and just nods, turning around and dashes away.
''Like I'm going to let him leave!'' Shooting out from the ground, Kojan chases after Sasuke only to dodge a claw swipe from Mew Ichigo appearing in front of him.
''Who said I'm letting you go either Nya!'' She tells him with a small smirk.
Scoffing angrily, Kojan utters out with a cold, murderous voice as his Sharingan eyes glow. ''You intend to get in my way, cat''
Glaring right at his eyes, Mew Ichigo responds as her eyes glow pink and her pupils stretch to be more cat-like. "I intent to stand my ground in front of you, Baka!''
Crouching down on all fours, Mew Ichigo then proclaims determinedly. ''And smack you with some sense Nya!''
Kojan just glares, taking on a swordsman pose with his sword gripped tightly on his side.
Things have just escalated into a big climax! Who will end up on top in this battle?

Kojan: … So revenge?
Mew Ichigo shakes her head: To stop you for Yugi-kun! I know you're not a bad person so please, stop this and let us help you Nya!
Kojan: … Why do I want your help? That's your problem like Yugi's; I don't want any help. So get in my way and die.

Kojan: … What?
Mew Ichigo sighs: Okay-okay, I'll explain it next time Nya.
Kojan: … Okay? *thought as he sweat drops* This is really stupid.
Author's Note: Even an Uchiha is an Uchiha and more since Kojan had been trained to always test his limits so for him to face Haruto/Wizard and Kurosaki is actually a fun challenge for him.
Also Evangeline sets up her plans to learn of Ichigo's true power in the worst of ways.
Next time we reach the climax of this arc… YES, I AM NOT JOKING. The best has yet to be shown as next time we see if the magical cat girl heroine can challenge the seemingly strongest Dragon Knight. How will it end? Only one way to find out.
... Oh yea, this is the 3RD Uchiha that Ichigo is going to fight too. Crazy huh?
