Valerie Gray as your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do."
"Valerie Gray, do you take
Daniel Fenton as your lawfully wedded husband?"
The Former Ghost hunter smiled
dreamily at her soon to be husband, and nodded at the priest.
"I do."
"Miss Gray, you do know the
answer? Then why don't you tell the class what it is?"
"Huh?"
Mr. Lancer's class burst into
laughter and pointed fingers at the lone girl standing up.
Shoulder's slumped, and a rosy
color flushed over brown cheeks.
"Um...uh... Edgar Allen Poe?"
"No Miss Gray, Edgar Allen
Poe did not write the story, "The Yellow Wallpaper. It was-"
RRRRRRING!
Mr. Lancer Frowned at the bell's
timing and sighed. "Very well, Class dismissed, and next time
Miss Gray, do not let your mind wander in my class."
Valerie nodded her head,
embarrassed.
"Yes Mr. Lancer."
With her head hung low, Valerie
walked out of class to find her friend, Star, waiting for her.
"Jeez Val, it isn't like you
to daydream. What happened back there in class?"
Valerie simply looked at her
friend and smiled.
"I don't know Star, maybe my
head was up in the clouds.".
