May have some OOCness on Integra's part --;
(I do not own Hellsing)
Integra sighed; this was the day she hated the most out of the whole year. They day that the Queen held her annual ball.
A slight smile crept across her face as she remembered this day fifteen years ago.
She was fidgeting with her long white gown sad because she was the youngest at the Queen's ball and that meant no one to dance with, not that she let it show.
After about an hour of waiting, she was bored out of her mind and near the point of tears because she was lonely. "Oh, Hello Miss Integra." The queen said while smiling kindly. "I'm so sorry for your being alone tonight." She finished. "Thank you ma'am, but I'm alright." Integra said as she curtsied. "But you must be lonely here with out your father." The queen frowned sadly. "A little but I'll make it" Integra piped as cheerfully as she could. "Alright then, take care dear." The queen said as she walked away toward the bigger crowed.
Just then a boy about her age with black hair wearing a black tux and round black sunglasses walked up to Integra.
"May I have this dance Miss Hellsing?" he asked politely as he bowed "Um, yes." she said as she put her hand into his and he led her to the dance floor.
"You look beautiful in a dress Miss Hellsing, you should wear them more often," he said as they danced slowly. "Really? You like it. I don't really like to wear dresses that much but I thought I should wear a pretty one, Walter my butler picked it for me-- ooh, I'm sorry, I'm rambling aren't I?" she asked blushing slightly.
"No it's alright your just nervous, is this the first dance you've ever been too?" he asked as they danced around the floor. "No, I mean this is my first dance here by myself, I used to come here with my dad every year since I was ten, but…he is gone now." She said sadly
"I'm sorry to hear that." He whispered to her. "Thank you, but I guess its ok, because I still have people that care about me." She said as she laid her head down on his shoulder. They stayed like that till the end of the song and the boy had to leave.
"I'm sorry, but I must leave now Miss Hellsing. It was good to dance with you tonight, goodbye." He bowed and turned to leave. "Wait! What is your name you never told me?" She asked him. He turned to her and smiled, "You can call me…Aru." He said and took her hand in his and kissed it then left.
"May I have this dance Miss Hellsing?" asked a man in a black suit and red sunglasses walking up to her. Integra turned around slowly. "Yes, you may." She said as she put her hand into his and he led her to the dance floor. "You look beautiful in a dress Miss Hellsing you should wear them more often." He told her as he spun her around. She stared at him wide eyed. "That…was you fifteen years ago?" she asked stunned.
"Me what?" he asked with his Cheshire grin plastered on his face.
"That danced with- you know what, never mind." She sighed as he twirled her around again.
"Just, thank you…Aru." She said as she rested her head on his shoulder and they danced through the rest of the song.
