The very first episode opened up, a view of a crickety old dock came into view. In the background was a dirty lake holding a couple of islands in the far distance. It was almost a peaceful scene. However it didn't last as a middle-aged man in a prussian blue shirt popped up from below the camera's view.
The man was very handsome, and seemed to be somewhere in his thirties, but who's to really tell with all of the (alleged) work he appears to have done in his years. His medium-length black hair was parted in the middle and had a very slight wave to it. Almost as if it was naturally wind-blown. Around his chiseled chin was some stubble, and his smile was white and bright.
"Yo, comin' at ya live from Camp Wawanakwa!" the man said, moving towards the camera slightly with his hand in front of himself. Clearly, he thinks he's being hip with the kids for talking like that. He moves back to his original position and raises his arms outward. "Somewhere in Muskoka, Ontario."
He gestured to himself next. "I'm your host, Chris McLean." Chris introduced. "Dropping you season one of the hottest new reality show on television right now."
There was a quick flash, the camera now giving a new angle of the dock with Chris walking down it. "Here's the deal: twenty-two contestants, aptly named campers, have signed up to spend eight weeks right here at this crummy old summer camp." Chris stopped once he reached an olive green sign that held the name of the camp on it in faded orange font.
"They'll compete in challenges against each other, then have to face the judgment of their fellow campers." The host explained. The shot came closer to Chris's face as he continued to talk. "Every three days, one team will either win a reward or watch one of their team members walk down the Dock of Shame, take a ride on the loser boat," As he said this, a picture of an old, run down boat was lowered onto the screen before quickly going back up right after as the host chuckled. "And leave Total Drama Island for good." He ended off by swinging his arms as if he was holding a golf club.
The camera flashed once more, now showing a completely new setting. It showed a small unlit fire pit next to an old oil drum with two rows of six tree stumps in front of it, presumably to be used as seating. Chris popped up from the corner of the screen and explained, "Their fate will be decided here at the dramatic campfire ceremonies. Each week, all but one camper will receive a marshmallow." Chris walked over to the oil drum, and held up one of the three sticks on it that held a marshmallow. As a demonstration, he ate the marshmallow before continuing.
"In the end, only one will be left standing. They will be rewarded with cheesy tabloid fame and a small fortune which, let's face it, they'll probably blow in a week." He ended his sentence off by half-hazardly throwing the stick behind him. A small "my leg" can be heard off screen.
The camera flashed again, now showing a shot of flies being swatted at by a brown bear. Instead of appearing on screen, Chris chose to simply narrate this part. "To survive, they'll have to battle black flies, grizzly bears,"
The camera once again flashes to a plate of grubs with one large grub with a somewhat perverse expression. "Disgusting camp food," Before the camera flashes again, the giant grub lets out a "Hey now." Because apparently it talks. Yummy.
The camera then returns with a close-up shot of Chris McLean on the Dock of Shame once more. "And each other."
However the shot didn't last long as once again with a quick flash, we're led to a new shot of a mother bird feeding her babies in her nest that just so happened to hold a camera. "Every moment will be caught on one of the hundreds of cameras situated all over the camp." Then we get another shot of some cameras crudely duct taped to the top of a totem pole.
Finally we come back to a shot of Chris once more, still wearing his perfected smile. "Who will crack under the pressure? Find out here, right now," Chris said, pointing to the camera. "On Total. Drama. Island!" The camera zooms out with each word of the title until the whole island is visible in the shot.
Once the theme song had finished playing, the scene came back to where we last left off with a shot of the island and Chris on the Dock of Shame. "Welcome back to Total Drama Island." Chris told the audience, his arms spread out.
The camera zoomed in closer to the host, giving us a clearer view of his face. "Alright, it's time to meet our first eleven campers." Chris explained. "Now, we told them that they'd be staying at a five-star resort, so if they seem a little TO'd, that's probably why."
The camera zoomed over to the end of the dock where a nice looking yacht dropped off the first camper.
She was an African-Canadian woman with chocolate brown skin and matching eyes. Her black hair was extremely short, but it still was very curly. The woman was tall and quite thin, standing at 6'1 and was wearing a yellow flowy blouse with long, flowy sleeves and a drawstring belt around her midsection. With that, she had on teal capris, yellow slip-on shoes, and a teal choker with a yellow flower. Dangling from the girl's ears were golden hoop earrings.
The woman stepped off of the yacht with a poised air to her. Noticing Chris, she gave him a polite smile.
Chris noticed this, and introduced her. "Welcome to the island Keesha, I'm glad to meet you."
Keesha walked a bit closer, and bowed her head slightly. "Thank you! I am happy to meet you as well Chris!" Her voice was very calm, yet mature.
"Who wouldn't be?" Chris responded.
This made Keesha's smile falter a little bit before she looked behind the host at the island. "May I ask where the resort is?"
"Not here." Chris said.
"I see…" The singer muttered to herself. "Well there's nothing to be done I guess."
"Glad you figured that one out quickly." Chris told her before gesturing to the other end of the dock. "But how about you head over there and wait for the others to arrive?"
Keesha nodded before walking over to the other side of the dock. "Very well."
The camera scrolled back over to the other end of the dock as another yacht pulled up, letting off the second passenger. The next contestant who arrived was a guy rather than a girl. He had dark almond skin, magenta eyes, and messy light gray-pink hair. His bangs fell loosely in front of his forehead and hung slightly over his eyes. The hair went down his neck and stuck out at some places. He wore a magenta colored safari vest over top a tan t-shirt, khaki cargo shorts, and tan worker boots. Around his neck was a beaded necklace with three crocodile teeth woven onto the front. The guy stood at around 5'10, and had some slight muscles to his lean figure.
"Welcome to the island, Ranbir." Chris greeted, raising his arm and motioning to the new arrival.
Ranbir gave a huge smile and held a thumbs-up in Chris's direction. "Thanks man, I'm stoked to be here."
He started to walk towards the host taking note of their location. As he reached Chris, Ranbir gave a confident smirk. "Man, this place is a summer camp? Nice, I think that'll be to my advantage."
"I'm glad someone has appreciation for the camp." Chris responded.
The adventurer resumed his pace towards the other side of the dock. "Of course! I feel a lot more at home in the wilderness."
As he reached the other side of the dock, he noticed Keesha. Ranbir shot her a smile and a nod of acknowledgement.
The singer returned his smile. "Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you."
"Thanks! Nice to meet ya too!" Ranbir replied. "The name's Ranbir."
"Keesha." The two shook hands before the next yacht arrived with a new camper.
The next camper had beige skin with round blue eyes, and brown hair that was medium length with natural waves in it. He was about 5'5 and had a skinny build. His outfit consisted of a gray shirt with a skull graphic in the center, blue jeans, and red converse sneakers.
"Sup Dustin Westwood, welcome to the island." Chris greeted, giving the new arrival a teasing smirk.
Dustin sent a small glare Chris's way before taking out some earbuds and putting them in. He went to the other side of the dock without speaking.
"Hm, someone seems to be a bit of a Debbie downer." Chris commented, his teasing smirk still plastered on his face.
As Dustin made his way over, both Keesha and Ranbir sent him waves, which Dustin completely ignored.
Ranbir huffed. "Rude!"
Another yacht arrived, dropping off another competitor. Contestant number four was a shorter guy, standing at 5'4 and had a scrawny body with Ivory skin, green eyes, and emo-styled brunette hair with his fringe swooping to the right just above his eye. The brunette wore a black beanie, black skinny jeans, dark purple converse, and a lightweight hoodie with the bottom half being dark gray and the upper half, along with the sleeves, being a dark purple.
"Hey, wait a minute." Chris said, giving the guy a stern look. "Who are you, and how did you manage to get here?"
The brunette's eyes widened. "Wh-what!? I'm Ashe, I'm supposed to be a competitor on Total Drama Island."
The host sent Ashe a suspicious look before taking out a clipboard, and reading it. When he found what he was looking for, Chris let out a surprised grunt. "Uh, I guess that checks out. But man, I really don't remember anything about your audition."
Ashe just sighed. "I, um… it's okay, I guess." He said awkwardly before making his way towards the others. Ashe grabbed his left arm with his right hand awkwardly, and sent a smile towards the other three. "Hello!"
However it seemed no one took any notice of him. Keesha and Ranbir were in the middle of a conversation about Dustin's manners, and the musician was still standing there with his earbuds in.
Ashe noticed that nobody paid him any mind, and just gave a sigh. "Of course."
The next yacht arrived and dropped off another woman. She was very beautiful and quite curvy. Standing at 5'8, the woman had beautiful brown skin, hazel eyes, and medium length black hair that was straight and went down to her mid back. Her outfit looked quite expensive, consisting of a cranberry colored silk blouse with sleeves that went down only ¾ of the length of her arm, dark blue designer jeans, and knee-length boots with gold belt buckles. Around her midsection was a black belt with a gold buckle, and she has an array of jewelry including golden hoop earrings, some golden bracelets, and a golden necklace that spelled out the word 'FLY.'"
"What's up bitches!" said the girl in an extravagant tone. She raised her right arm up while her left hand rested on her hip. "The Head Bitch in Charge: Tamera Sykes is in the mother fuckin' building."
Chris smirked. "I'm very glad you were able to make it, Tamera."
Dramatically putting her hand to her chest, Tamera responded. "Well duh, I would never dream of missing my television debut." She strutted over towards the others.
Ashe had a shyer smile on his face, but he seemed a bit excited. He rubbed his arm awkwardly and said. "Hi, I'm Ashe."
However Tamera seemed to ignore his greeting, looking over the competitors who arrived so far. "Ha! If this is the competition, I have nothing to worry about." The HBIC said. "It's clear none of these losers are stars that shine bright like me."
This brought the ire of some of the others.
Dustin, whose headphones were now around his neck, sent a glare. "And what exactly is that supposed to mean?"
"It means I'm clearly way more talented than the rest of you." Tamera arrogantly said before sending a glare his way. "Do you got a fuckin' problem with that?"
Ashe got between the two. "Hey, that's a little mea-"
"Shut up!" Ranbir yelled. "You have no right to say that!"
"Pretty sure I do." Tamera shot back, the sass rising in her voice.
Ashe just deflated and gave up.
"Yeah, well you won't be saying that after you lose!" The adventurer retorted.
The HBIC let out a haughty laugh. "Why losing just isn't in the cards for me darling. Not when you're a big star like me."
Dustin scoffed then muttered. "We'll see about that."
And just like that, tensions were high. Tamera stood on one end of the dock confidently while on the other side of the group, Dustin and especially Ranbir sent a glare her way. Keesha stood next to Tamera, giving her a look of disapproval, but not saying anything. And Ashe was right in the center, looking back and forth between everyone.
Just then, the next yacht came. However, no one came off of it this time. Chris gave a confused look. "Uh, we didn't forget anyone, did we?"
All of a sudden from behind Chris, a guy jumps up from out of nowhere and screams loudly, causing the host to scream as well.
The newcomer burst into laughter at this, making Chris send him a glare.
"Not cool Freddy." Chris told the guy apparently named Freddy.
Freddy's laughter calmed down. "Sorry Chris, I just had to make a real Five Nights at Freddy's entrance y'know?" he told the host.
Freddy had rose beige skin, excited blue eyes, and short, messy brown hair that stuck out in different places. His outfit showed his shameless adoration for his favorite video game series. He wore a Foxy the Pirate fox inspired red hoodie with black jeans, purple and yellow sneakers, a bib with a confetti pattern and the words 'Let's Eat,' and finally his outfit was completed with a small top hat on his head. He was a little above average in height, being 5'10 and a slightly scrawny but soft body.
"Yeah, well don't pull that crap on me, got it?" Chris told him.
The FNaF fanatic responded happily, giving the host a salute. "Aye aye host sir!"
"Yeah, yeah. Just go over there." Chris responded, pointing towards the other contestants.
Freddy headed over to the opposite side of the dock. He waved towards the others. "Hey guys!"
Tamera didn't pay him any mind while Ashe and Ranbir greeted the newcomer happily. Keesha sent Freddy a nod of acknowledgement, while Dustin put his earbuds back in.
However everyone's attention turned to the blaring music that was now playing. The music seemed to be some sort of electronic dance music. They looked over to see yet another yacht on its way to the dock, and on the bow was a chubby girl sitting on top of a large speaker with her left leg crossed over her right.
Once the yacht approached the dock, the girl got off. She was short and quite overweight, standing at a measly 4'11 with wide hips and rose beige skin. She wore a very short black dress that stopped at her thighs underneath a large, red fur coat, knee-length black boots and cherry earrings. Her hair was dyed half red on the left and half black on the right with her bangs going all across her forehead, just above her dark brown eyes. The girl had a gap in between her two front teeth and freckles dotting her cheeks. Something that was really noticeable about her that wasn't visual was just how chill her aura seemed to be.
"Nice to see you make the trip across the pond to be here with us Cherry." Chris greeted, raising his right arm.
"The pleasure is all mine." Cherry replied, her British accent coming through. "Seems like we're gonna have a fun time on our hands."
She walked over to the others. "What's up babes?"
"That sure was an entrance." Keesha commented.
Tamera huffed. "I didn't get any music."
Cherry shrugged. "Thought it fit. I'm known for being the life of the party."
Ranbir got a grin on his face. "Yeah! I think you're gonna be a lotta fun!"
"Why, I plan on it." the party gal responded, sending a playful wink the treasure hunter's way.
Yet another yacht arrived and dropped off the next contestant. This was a 5'0 girl with tan skin, emerald green eyes, and an athletic and lean build. Her dyed magenta hair was done up into a wavy ponytail and her bangs covered the left side of her face. But that wasn't the only part of her face that was covered since the girl had on a large purple scarf which covered the bottom part of her face. With this she had on a long forest green tunic that is longer in the back, a brown corset, purple leggings, and brown knee high boots.
"Sup." She said simply.
"Welcome to the island Miriam." Christ greeted.
Miriam looked at the camp, and sent a small glare Chris's way. "Aye, what's the big idea host man? Where's the resort?" Despite the fact she wasn't too happy with the lack of resort, the archer spoke with a monotone voice.
"Surprise, we're competing at a summer camp instead." Chris said sarcastically.
Miriam brought her scarf up a bit, still glaring at the host. "Well yer lucky I like summer camps. 'Cause if we were at a place I didn't like I'd hafta hurt ya."
Chris raised an eyebrow at this. "Uhh, yeah. You can join the others now. Please don't do anything to me."
Miriam sent Chris an 'I'm watching you' gesture before making her way to the others.
The next yacht arrived with a very tall and strong looking guy on it. He was pretty handsome with perfectly done blonde hair, beige skin, blue eyes, and with a muscular build. He wore an expensive looking blue polo shirt with the buttons undone, beige khakis, and blue and white sneakers. The guy's face held an arrogant smirk. It was clear he was someone who thought highly of himself.
"Tanner!" Chris greeted. "How's it going my man?"
"Pretty great Chris." Tanner responded before starting to check out the others that arrived already. "Of course it just got better seeing all these hot babes here."
Miriam rolled her eyes at this. "Gross." She muttered.
"Ah, someone who likes to play hard to get." Tanner said, walking over to her.
"Don't even waste your breath bozo." The archer told him. "Not interested."
This didn't phase Tanner though. "Eh, I can change that."
This only pissed Miriam off, but before she could respond, a new, shrieking voice called out.
"Excuse you, you disgusting, misogynistic pig!" said the voice. "Don't think you can come in here and force yourself on a woman who doesn't want you, you ignorant loaf!"
Looking over to the new arrival, Tanner just scoffed. "Not like you have room to call someone a pig."
This only made the new girl angrier. She stood at 5'7 and was very overweight. She had magenta glasses that sat on her round, pale face. Her brown eyes showed nothing but hatred. The new girl had her hair styled in a bob and it was dyed half and half like Cherry, but instead of red, her hair was dyed pink on the right. The overweight girl wore a white chiffon button-down blouse with a black ribbon tied around the collar, a brown belt, a navy skirt, black stockings, and brown shoes.
"You fat phobic prick!" The girl yelled. "You have no right to comment on a woman's weight! You sexist woman hater!."
"Oh am I glad you're here Hannah." Chris said, enjoying the drama that was coming out of this exchange.
Tanner just rolled his eyes. "Yeah, whatever bitch." He turned his attention to Cherry. "Now how are you doing beautiful."
Cherry just chuckled in response, but Hannah fumed even more. "Oh just wait until my Tumblr followers hear about this! You're so canceled!"
"Is Tumblr even still relevant?" Ranbir asked Freddy.
The FNAF Fanatic just shrugged. "I dunno. I see some cool Five Nights at Freddy's art on it from time to time."
"Huh, really?" Ranbir asked.
Freddy smiled excitedly. "Hecks yeah!" He took out his phone. "Let me show you some."
And yet another yacht approached the dock, this time holding another girl. She was on the shorter side, standing at 5'6 with a chubby build. She had espresso colored skin, blue eyes, and black wavy hair that went past her shoulder. She wore a sleeveless, turquoise and celeste banded dress with a larger white band in the middle and some black open top platform heels with some blue framed glasses.
"Hello everyone!" She said excitedly. "It's nice to meet you all!"
"Hello Anisa." Chris greeted.
"Thank you." Anise gave the host a smile, and looked over to the others. She gave them a big smile, ready to meet some new people.
Tanner was the first to react, instantly getting close to Anisa. "Well hey there hottie, how about you and me sneak off and spend some time alone together?"
Anisa became slightly uncomfortable at his upfront flirting. "Um, well…"
"15 minutes with me, and you won't be so hesitant." The quarterback said, sending her a wink.
"Excuse you, she's clearly uncomfortable!" Hannah yelled, butting in again.
Tanner just groaned. "Do you ever shut up?"
"Not until all you cishet white males learn to know your place!" Hannah snapped.
Tamera smirked at the argument that was starting. "Ooh, another argument. Juicy."
"Stop being such a cock block you cu-"
"Alright, settle down campers!" Chris yelled, stopping everyone in their tracks. "It was fun at first, but you're just starting to drone on and on. This is a half-hour show."
Tanner and Hannah just sent each other a glare, but stayed quiet as the next yacht approached.
The next person to arrive had an elegant and high-class air to her. She was Japanese, and was on the shorter side, being 5'4. Her thin, almost frail build was clothed in a gray gothic Lolita dress with a black corset that has purple accents and long sleeves with small purple rose embroidered with small purple roses on the ends. The skirt of the dress had two layers, the top being gray that opened up in the middle which revealed the second layer which was purple. Along the hem of the skirt were more purple roses. On her legs, the elegant girl sported stockings that went down into her black mary-jane heels. Her black hair was wavy and done up into two pigtails that were held together with black bows that had purple accents. And finishing off her outfit, she wore a black collar that held a sapphire broach.
The girl's purple eyes scanned their location. Then she held her hand up to her mouth which held a small smile on it. "Oh my, this certainly isn't the resort that was promised."
"Good eye Harmonia." Chris told her. "This is Camp Wawanakwa."
Harmonia let out a small giggle. "My, you sure caught me off guard Chris. Perhaps I should have paid more attention to the fine print."
"It's a lesson most people learn the hard way." Chris replied.
Harmonia chuckled, being pleased at this response. She made her way to the others, and gave them a small bow. "Hello everyone, I am Harmonia Miko, it is a pleasure."
There was a murmur of greetings throughout the others.
Harmonia hummed to herself in acceptance, and made her way behind the others so she could start observing them.
That's when the next yacht arrived. This one held a chubby guy with pale ivory skin, green eyes, and dyed pink hair that went down his neck just above his shoulders. His fringe swooped to the right, and it went down his cheek, almost covering his eyes. On his face sat a pair of black-framed glasses and a closely shaven beard that was dyed the same color as his hair. For his outfit of choice, the guy wore a pink shirt with a unicorn graphic underneath an unzipped purple hoodie, a matching beanie, gray jeans, and pink and purple shoes.
"Wow, this is such a fancy resort." The guy said sarcastically.
"Of course, Colin, only the best for my show." Chris responded, giving his own sarcastic quip.
The geek just rolled his eyes slightly and walked over to the other side of the dock. Once there, he got a bit nervous seeing so many other people that he didn't know. He scanned the crowd and decided to stand next to Freddy since the FNAF outfit seemed noticeable enough to him.
"Howdy!" Freddy smiled, giving him a friendly wave.
"Uh, hi." Colin replied awkwardly.
"I'm Freddy, it's nice to meet ya dude!" The horror gamer introduced himself.
"Um, yeah, same." Colin stammered slightly. "I mean, my name's Colin."
Freddy sent a big smile his way. "Cool! I can't wait to see what other types of people we'll compete against."
"Yeah, I guess." Colin responded, not really knowing what else to say.
The next yacht arrived with another guy in it, one with really dark bags under his eyes. This one was really tall and lanky, standing at 6'3. He had pale skin, pale green eyes, and long blonde hair that was done into a low ponytail that went down to his waist. He had layers upon layers on, clearly not being a fan of the cold. He wore a white turtleneck sweater underneath a gray button down shirt which is underneath a deep purple sweater vest, which itself is under a green blazer. Along with this, he wears brown trousers and black shoes.
After stepping off the boat, the guy gave a big yawn and stretched his arms out.
"Wakey, wakey Lucien. We're on air." Chris said, poking fun at the seemingly tired man.
"Yes, I know." Lucien replied. "I take it, I join the others?"
"You would be correct." Chris replied to him.
"Hm." Lucien gave a small noise of understanding before making his way across the dock.
He stood next to Keesha, who gave him a polite wave. Lucien nodded his head in acknowledgment, but almost went and dosed off afterward.
"Somebody get this man some coffee." Freddy said, making Colin chuckle.
The next contestant arrived on another yacht, and as a complete turn around to Lucien, this girl was full of energy. She was short and stout, standing at a measly 4'9 with a chubby physique. She wore a typical Japanese schoolgirl uniform with a bright purple sailor collar, a pink scarf, and a bright purple pleated skirt. With this she had on knee-length white socks that had pink stripes, and pink and purple sneakers. The girl's hair was black with pink and purple streaks through it and was done up into two pigtails.
"OhmygoshohmygoshChrisMcLeanitissonicetomeetyou." The girl said quickly, completely running her words together. "IlovedyouinthatonemovieyouwereinwiththatDonguy. Ohmygodyoutwowouldmakesuchacutecoupleyou'reoneofmyOTPsandIwillshipthattillthedayIdie."
"Oh my god, does she shut the hell up?" Tamera exclaimed.
"Rosalina, Rosalina!" Chris yelled, putting his hands on the girl's shoulders. "Calm down."
Rosalina giggled. "Oopsie, sorry Chris, I was just so excited to be here!" She clapped her hands together excitedly and bounced on her feet happily. "I meant there's just so many shipping possibilities with my fellow competitors. Oh! Speaking of which, here's some fanart I drew for you."
Rosalina held out a piece of paper to Chris that had to be censored out. The host's face went pale as he stared at the drawing with both shock and horror. "Uh… thanks?" He took the piece of paper from her."
"You're welcome!" Rosalina exclaimed. She looked at the others, and ran towards the other side of the dock. "I'm gonna go meet the others!"
"Yeah, please do." Chris muttered before crumpling the drawing up into a ball and tossing it into the lake.
"Hi everyone!" Rosalina waved. "Ohmigosh, look at all the guys here already! So much yaoi potential!" She squealed.
She went up to Tanner and Dustin who were standing next to each other. "Ooh, you two would really have some hawt yaoi sex, I just know it!"
The two guys looked at each other in horror, Tanner having a small blush on his face. "N-no way! I'm totally not into dudes." Tanner stuttered.
"Yeah, I'm not even going to dignify you with a response." Dustin replied.
Rosalina pursed her lips for a moment before smiling again. "If you insiiist~" With that, she stood off to the side, took out a small sketch book and started to sketch just in time for the next yacht to arrive.
Off stepped a young man who had a very formal air to him. He stood with his hands behind his back, glancing over at the other contestants, almost as if he was gauging them.
"Sup Christopher Robin." Chris said. "Nice name."
Christopher let out a sigh. "Please, just Christopher. Hopefully it shouldn't be too confusing between the two of us." Christopher had olive skin, turquoise eyes, and shaggy dark brown hair. He stood at 5'10 and had an average build to him. His outfit consisted of a black turtleneck, dark blue jeans, and black combat boots. On his left wrist was a nice, silver watch.
"Yeah I seriously doubt anyone would get me confused with you." Chris told Christopher.
The perfectionist frowned at this, and moved on to join the others. "Hello everyone, it's nice to meet you all."
"The pleasure is ours." Keesha greeted.
Christopher smiled, and joined her and Lucien. "Thank you." He turned to Lucien and held his hand out. "It's a pleasure to meet you."
This sort of snapped Lucien back to reality. "Oh, uh thanks. You too." Lucien shook his hand.
The next yacht came and dropped off another young woman. She had light brown skin with green eyes, and a shoulder length bob haircut. She stood at 5'8 and was lean with an athletic build. For her outfit, she wore a three-toned green shirt with skinny jeans, and orange sneakers. She held her hands on her hips and gave a big smile to the camera. "I'm ready for my close-up."
The camera zoomed in, and didn't stop until it smacked her right in the face. "Ah! Too close!" It zoomed out to where it was before.
"Delanie Freaking Rios." Chris said. "Welcome to Total Drama Island."
Delanie smirked. "Thanks Chris." She made her way over to the others.
Tamera was the first one to greet the method actress. "Delanie Rios! Wassap, I'm Tamera. Totally a huge fan."
Delanie smiled. "Thank you, it's always nice to meet fans."
Tamera's eye twitched slightly, but it wasn't noticed by Delanie. "Bitch, I love your top! It's so pretty."
"Oh this? Yeah, it's a top that really meant to be worn on beautiful people, so I knew it'd look great on me." Delanie told her.
Tamera smiled and nodded. "I'm sure it does."
The next yacht arrived and dropped off the next guy. By looking at him, it was clear his dad took him to the black parade when he was a young boy with medium length black hair with pink streaks. His bangs covered the left side of his face, and it was clear by his heavy use of black eyeliner that his poetry was very cringy and terrible. He was 5'5 with a skinny frame, and he had on a black hoodie with a hot pink flaming skull graphic on the chest, gray acid-wash jeans, and pink and white sneakers.
"Sup, good day Andrew!" Chris greeted.
Andrew just scoffed. "What's so good about it?"
"Well for starters, it's the first day of the competition." Chris pointed out.
"Whatever, it's just gonna be an annoying time until I get my money." Andrew said, walking to the other side.
"Someone's cheery." Delanie snarked, her arms crossed over her chest.
"Psh, it's not like you'd understand." Andrew retorted, rolling his eyes in the process.
"Felt that." Colin commented as the next yacht pulled up.
The next woman stomped down onto the dock, slightly shaking it in the process. Some of the contestants like Ashe, Tamera, and Colin widened their eyes in fear.
The woman held a dominating air to her with her 6'4 height and overweight body. Underneath her eggplant purple beanie, she had brunette hair that went down past her shoulders and curled out slightly. She had brown eyes behind a pair of fuschia glasses. She had Ivory skin, and a beauty mark on her right cheek. She wore a vibrant fuschia and gray striped zip-up hoodie over an eggplant purple t-shirt, a black skirt over some black leggings, a necklace with a skull charm, and black converse.
"Rhonda, what's up?" Chris greeted.
"I'm ready to destroy." She said simply.
"Can't wait to see it!" Chris told her happily.
She made her way over to the others, and stopped in front of Christopher and looked him up and down. "I'm glad there's eye candy here." She commented. "It'd be a rough eight weeks if I was stuck with only ugly people."
Christopher just raised an eyebrow. "Um… thanks?"
The next yacht arrived, and this one definitely brought the actual eye candy of the season.
This handsome lad had light tan skin, beautiful brown eyes, and short brown hair with his bangs falling just above his left eye. He was 6'2 with a lean, yet athletic body. He wore a green letter man jacket with white sleeves and accents overtop a simply black v-neck shirt. With this, he had faded light blue jeans and white sneakers.
"Sup Chris." The hottie said.
"Anthony, what's up?" Chris greeted.
"Certainly can't complain." Anthony replied calmly. He made his way over to the others, and once there, he nodded his head as a greeting. "Sup."
Rhonda immediately pushed Christopher down, and made her way to the new arrival.
"I want a piece of that action." She said, ogling him.
Anthony let out an airy chuckle. "How forward. We'll have to see how far that takes you." He gave a sly wink to her before moving a bit more towards the end of the dock.
Rhonda took a big, shaky breath through her mouth as Christopher got up, and dusted himself off. "How barbaric."
Rhonda didn't pay him no mind though. "Damn." She nodded her head slightly. "He's good."
Just then, the second to last yacht arrived, dropping off the last lady of the competition.
She stepped off the yacht nervously. She was shaking with anxiety, and her pale red eyes darted back and forth.
The most noticeable thing about the lass was her towering height. She was 6'9, with a very thin frame. Her sickly pale skin almost matched her white hair which was medium length and goes just above her shoulders. Her fringe swoops to the left, and her hair curls towards the bottom. The girl wore an indigo-purple respirator mask over her nose and mouth, not giving anyone full sight of her face. She had on a galaxy-print turtleneck dress underneath a black cardigan with knee high cat stockings, and indigo purple slip-ons.
"Uh, you doing okay Celestia?" Chris asked, an eyebrow raised in confusion.
Celestia actually jumped a little when Chris spoke, being caught off guard. "Ah, o-oh yes, I'm fine. I think…" Her eyes widened in fear. "Wait, what if I'm not fine? A-a-am I gonna d-die here?"
"Well, you might." Chris shrugged nonchalantly.
This was the wrong thing to say though as Celestia froze up in fear.
"Chris, that's not right to scare the poor thing!" Keesha scolded, as her and Anisa went to help the petrified girl.
"Hey dear, you're alright." Anisa soothed. "Just focus on my voice, nothing else." She then started to sing a soothing song for Celestia to focus on. It wasn't anything elaborate, just her singing a bunch of "La's"
This did help to bring Celestia back to her senses a bit.
Keesha smiled at Anisa's singing. "You're a singer too?"
Anisa gently held Celestia's right arm, running a soft hand up and down her forearm to try and comfort her more. He stopped her singing to reply, "Yes, though I do tend to focus more on musical therapy." She gave a light giggle.
"Very nice." Keesha said. "You'll have to tell me more about it. I love to sing, and use it as a release, but I never heard of musical therapy before."
Anisa gave the soul singer a bright smile. "Oh yes, I'll have to tell you all about it! But let's try and help this poor thing first."
"Of course." Keesha grabbed Celestia's other arm, and her and Anisa both led her to the other side of the dock. Anisa resumed her singing to help comfort Celestia a bit more.
Just in time too for the final yacht to arrive at the dock. Standing on the bow of the yacht, giving a nervous wave was an extremely scrawny, nerdy guy who was about 5'3 in height with . Looking at his atrocious outfit, it was a mystery how someone could make so many fashion crimes. He wore a pink t-shirt with a 'My Little Pony' graphic on the chest, thick framed glasses with some duct tape holding them together in the middle, and bright green pants. The worst offender was what this guy was wearing on his feet. He had on 'Power Rangers' socks with some brown sandals. But it doesn't just stop at his clothes, oh no. He has some stringy pieces of facial hair on his chin, and a black bowl cut. Yes, you read that correctly. A bowl cut. This man is the definition of sex appeal, lemmie tell ya.
"Welp, here's Lester." Chris said, his disgust was clearly shown on his face.
Lester started to walk toward the end of the boat to jump onto the dock. "H-hello every- Ack!" Unfortunately for Lester, he didn't quite clear the jump over the railing of the boat. His 'Thomas the Tank Engine' undies got caught on the railing, and the nerd was left dangling.
"Why… a wedgie…" He wheezed, clearly feeling the pain.
Tanner burst into a fit of laughter. "Ahaha! Oh man, this is great. Serves the dork right."
"Uh, is anyone going to help him?" Colin asked. No one moved.
"I-I got it." Lester said. "I've been in this situation before."
The nerd tried to swing off the railing, but this just made things worse for him. "Ah!" Just then, a ripping sound was heard as Lester's undies started to tear, and the opportunist was sent falling onto the dock with a thud!
"I'm okay," he said weakly.
No one really paid him much mind though as Chris spoke up. "Alright campers, now that everyone is here, why don't we take a quick promo shot? If you don't mind, why doesn't everyone come to this side of the dock in front of the Wawanakwa sign?"
The contestants made their way back to the other side. Colin and Freddy helped Lester get to his feet as everyone found their spot and got into their own pose.
Chris jumped up onto the bow of the yacht that dropped Lester off, camera in hand. "Alright, looks good." He leaned his face into the camera, ready to take the shot. "One, two, three-"
A click was heard as Chris pressed the button on the camera to take the shot, but a picture was not taken. "Oops, forgot to take off the lens cap." Chris said, pressing another button to remove the lens cap on the camera. "Alright once again. One, two, three- Oh wait, card's full."
Some of the contestants looked annoyed at this.
"Can we hurry this up? This is annoying." Dustin spoke up.
"Got it. Everyone say 'Wawanakwa!'"
At once, everyone said, "Wawanakwa" just before the dock crumbled under the weight of everyone, and the contestants were sent into the water below. The picture Chris took appeared on screen, showing Ashe, Celestia, Anisa, Tamera, and Ranbir with panicked faces, trying to stay above the water.
The camera set its focus back onto Chris as the host laughed. "Awesome! Alright everyone, dry yourselves off, and meet me at the campfire pit in ten."
The scene flashed, now to the campfire pit Chris showed off during the intro. The contestants all were either sitting on or standing around the stumps, facing Chris who was standing next to the fire pit itself. Hannah, Ashe, Colin, Lucien, Miriam, Lester, Dustin, Delanie, Rhonda, Christopher, Keesha, and Andrew sat on the stumps while everyone else stood around them.
"This is Camp Wawanakwa." Chris introduced. "Your home for the next eight weeks. The campers sitting next to you will be your cabin mates, your competition, and maybe even your friends. Ya dig?"
Anisa sent Andrew, who was standing next to her a smile. The emo just scoffed in response, making Anisa frown.
"The camper who manages to stay on Total Drama Island the longest without getting voted off, will win $100,000." Chris said, making some of the contestants cheer.
"Excuse me!" Hannah interrupted rudely. "How will the sleeping arrangements work? I refuse to sleep in the same room as a degenerate male." She sent a glare Tanner's way, who returned it with a glare of his own.
"Yeah, they're not going to be co-ed, right?" Delanie asked.
"Nope." Chris answered. "Dudes get one side, chicks get the other."
Rosalina giggled to herself. "Imagine all of the hot make out sessions that'll happen in the guys cabin!" She turned her sights to Lester and Dustin, giggling to herself.
Lester turned to Dustin, and wiggled his eyebrows up and down seductively. Dustin's response was him gagging, and sending a disgusted glare towards Lester.
"Since I will be the biggest star on this show, I deserve to have a cabin with a lake view." Tamera spoke up. "It's what the HBIC deserves."
"Yeah, that's not really how this works here." Chris said.
"It doesn't matter where my room is, I'm just going to sleep in a tree." Miriam said. "Waiting for my time to strike."
"Um, strike what?" Christopher asked the archer, a concerned look on his face.
Miriam just chuckles ominously. "Nyeheheh…" Even her laughing was monotone.
Andrew just scoffed. "This is so incredibly stupid."
Freddy wrapped an arm around the hypnotist's shoulders. "Hey, cheer up dude! I'm sure this is going to be so cool!"
Andrew shoved the FNAF fanatic off of him. "Don't touch me." He walked away to keep from being touched.
Freddy turned to Rhonda, who was also next to him and asked, "Does my breath smell or something?"
"He probably didn't want you rubbing your geek on him." she answered rudely.
"Okay, here's the deal." Chris said, putting the attention back on him. "I'm gonna split you up into two teams. If I call your name, go stand over there to my right. Keesha,
Dustin,
Lester,
Colin,
Anisa,
Cherry,
Tanner,
Rosalina,
Ashe,
Freddy,
And Hannah."
"Hold the phone!" Hannah yelled. "I refuse to be on a team with that sexist, fatphobic jerk!" She pointed over to Tanner, who just rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, well sucks for you." Chris told her. "Teams are final."
Hannah squinted her eyes towards Chris. "Oh you just wait till my blog followers hear about this. Your career will be ruined!" She yelled before stomping over to her new teammates.
"Yeah, sure." Chris responded, clearly not believing her. "From this moment on, you are officially known as…" Chris tossed Tanner a rolled up banner. The quarterback unrolled it, showing a green symbol with a gopher screaming like in a boxing match. "The Screaming Gophers." Chris finished.
"Wow this is the peak of team names, I gotta say." Colin snarked.
"Yeah Screaming Gophers!" Rosalina screamed.
Chris turned back to the rest of the contestants. "That means the rest of you over here are the other team. Tamera,
Rhonda,
Anthony,
Christopher,
Lucien,
Harmonia,
Andrew,
Delanie,
Ranbir,
Miriam,
And Celestia. Move, move move!" Chris yelled, causing the sheltered girl to panic, and dash over to the host's left.
"You guys will be officially known as…" Chris tossed Delanie the rolled up banner for their team. The method actress unrolled it, showing the image of a red bass looking angry. "The Killer Bass."
"Well, it is certainly better than a gopher." Lucien commented.
"Alright!" Ranbir cheered. "Go us!"
Chris spoke up, once again bringing the attention back to him. "All right, campers, you and your team will be on camera in all public areas during this competition."
Static filled the screen for a split second before Chris appeared in an old wooden out house. He was sitting on the toilet, with his pants on of course. The walls of the outhouse were stained and there were some graffiti marks on the walls and some flies buzzing around. Chris had on his signature smile as he explained, "This is the outhouse confessional. Here, you'll be able to share your innermost thoughts on tape with video diaries anytime you want. If you want to let the audience know what you're thinking, or even just to get something off your chest, I recommend coming here."
Confessional Andrew
Andrew sits in the confessional, his arms crossed across his chest. He gives a scoff before talking. "This is so stupid. I already know that no one here will even understand me. I just want my money and to leave as soon as possible."
End Confessional
Confessional Colin
The geek sat in the confessional, rubbing his arm awkwardly. "Well this will be interesting…" He noted. "But who knows, maybe I'll win?" He gives a somewhat hopeful smile to the confessional before deflating. "Oh who am I kidding, I'll probably be the first out."
End Confessional
Confessional Harmonia
"Well I must say there are many different types of fascinating people here." Harmonia commented, a serene smile on her lips and her hands sitting neatly in her lap. "It will be quite compelling to see how they fare in the competition."
End Confessional
"All right, any questions?" Chris asked.
Ashe raised his hand. "Um yeah-"
"Cool, let's go find your cabins." Chris said, waving the contestants to follow him.
Ashe deflated and sigh just before the scene flashed.
The next shot was of Chris walking in front of two summer camp cabins that were propped up on cinder blocks. Each cabin had a small front porch that led to two separate doors. The cabins were painted a dirty gray, and had rustic orange roofs.
"Gophers, you'll be bunking in the east cabin." Chris said, raising an arms to present the Gophers' cabin. "Bass, you'll be in the west cabin." He raised his other arm, motioning to the Bass' cabin. "You're luggage should have arrived by now on the docks. I'll give you guys about an hour to pack. After that, meet in the Mess Hall over there for further instructions."
Some of the contestants started to make their way back to the dock to get their luggage, but there were a few that stayed behind for a moment.
"Hey Chris, would there happen to be outlets somewhere?" Freddy asked. "Need to be able to charge my phone so I can play some more Five Nights at Freddy's."
"There are some in the communal washrooms." Chris responded.
Freddy raised an eyebrow. "Communal washrooms? Do we get wine and those little stale crackers there?"
"You're thinking of communion." Chris told him. "They're communal."
Freddy just stared blankly at the host.
Dustin, who was next to Freddy rolled is eyes. "It means we share the washrooms."
Realization dawned onto Freddy's face. "Ohhhh, I get it now."
Dustin rolled his eyes. "Great." The musician said sarcastically. He started to walk away, presumably to the dock. But not before muttering, "Idiot," under his breath.
Confessional Dustin
The musician sighs in annoyance before speaking. "I've only known these people for a couple hours and most of them are insufferable already. Though it seems like none of them really know who I am." He crossed his arms over his chest. "Normally I'd be offended, but in a game like this, that's probably a good thing."
End Confessional
Tamera entered the girls' side of her teams cabin, rolling three large suitcases with her. "Yuck, this place is dingy as hell."
Right behind her was Celestia who had to duck to get in the doorway. "Um, I think that is the point." She said softly.
Tamera's head snapped back and she sent Celestia a glare. The med student flinched in fear.
"Did I say you could speak to me?" Tamera snapped.
"S-sorry!" Celestia squeaked.
"Good, you should be." Tamera responded. She rolled her luggage over to the bed in the far back next to the window. Delanie was currently unpacking her luggage, taking out some shirts from her suitcase.
"Hey Delanie Freaking Rios, wassap girl!" Tamera greeted.
"Hey there… you." Delanie responded, clearly not remembering the HBIC's name.
"Tamera." she said a bit too forcefully before putting on a fake smile. She looked at the suitcase laying on the bed. "So, uh, what's goin' on over here."
"Just unpacking." Delanie said. "I'm going to bunk here."
"Yeah… yeah.' Tamera nodded slightly. "Well, y'see, that's gonna be a bit of a problem 'cause I, myself, was planning to sleep there."
"Well that's too bad because I got here first." Delanie responded, putting her hands on her hips.
Tamera gave a passive aggressive chuckle. "Yeah well you know, I'm going to be a star, right? So I think it's best to give me the spot I'd like to sleep. Y'know this bed is right next to the window, and waking up with the nice warmth of the sunrise is just what a girl like me needs to get her day started correctly."
Delanie just scoffed. "Yeah good luck with that. Besides, I'm already a star, so that means I get the special treatment around here."
Tamera was officially done playing the nice girl. Now it's time to make some good television. "Listen here bitch, you better give me that fuckin' bed this instant."
"Hell no!" Delanie shot back. "I got here first, and I'm better than you. So I get the bed."
"I know that shit did not just come out of your mouth!" Tamera yelled. "You better take that the hell back!"
"Or what?"
"Or I'll beat your ass bitch!" Tamera shouted.
On the other side of the cabin, Harmonia and Celestia stood, watching the fight. Celestia shook with fear at the altercation, hoping that she wouldn't somehow get involved. Harmonia looked on in amusement and intrigue. She held her hand up to her mouth, covering the small smile that appeared on her face.
"Oh my, how fun." Harmonia commented.
"Wh-what if they s-start actually f-fighting!?" Celestia exclaimed.
"Well there's not much we can do dear." Harmonia told her. "It's best to just stay out of quarrels like this."
"Do it!" Delanie screamed. "I know you're too chicken shit to actually do anything. Hit me and get your ass voted off, I dare you."
"Oh, is that a motha fuckin' challenge honey?" Tamera spat back. "I will do it, I may be a beautiful, glamorous woman, but I can and will buck up sweetheart!"
"Then bring it!" Delanie shouted back.
"I wi-"
All of a sudden, Rhonda stomped over to the two bickering women. "I recommend the two of you shut up."
"What, you're going to get involved now too?" Delanie snapped at her.
"Bring it lard ass!" Tamera yelled.
The camera zoomed in on Rhonda's face. It had a scowl plasters on it, and only slightly did the ends of her mouth twitch in annoyance.
All of a sudden, the camera switches view to the outside of the Bass' cabin. Tamera and Delanie are both sent flying out of the front door and land in the dirt in front of the cabin.
Back in the cabin, Celestia becomes petrified once again, fearful of what Rhonda could potentially do to her. Harmonia still has her same smile on her face.
Over at the bed that caused the fight, Rhonda is seen shoving Delanie's luggage off of it, and lays on it. "Yep, that's the ticket." She says to herself.
"Hm, I didn't think tempers would raise so quickly." Harmonia said. "How intriguing."
Confessional Delanie
She picks some dirt out of her hair before speaking. "I know Tamera is just here to make good t.v., but I'm not just going to let her take the spotlight like that. I'm the method actress here, and I can play the combative, bratty part too. And I will do it better."
End Confessional
Confessional Tamera
She sat in the confessional with her hands folded on her lap. "Pretty much I would let Delanie know that she is a fat cunt and, um, the shirt that she has is not something that I would particularly buy for myself. It was an old maiden styled shirt, and she said that the shirt was meant to be worn on a beautiful woman. So if that is the case she should have put it back on the rack and she should never even have purchased it because she was unqualified to own that shirt if that's the case. And, um, I think that Delanie is just a disgrace. She's a disgrace to women who are actually beautiful and classy and, um, she just doesn't have the vernacular she thinks she possesses. Somebody lied to her several times and told her that she was fly, hot, and sexy and beautiful and she's nothing like that; she's nothing of the sort."
End Confessional
While this was going on in the girls' side of the bass cabin, the guys' side was much calmer. Anthony was already laying on the top bunk of one of the beds. He had his head laying on his arms, and had a content smile on his face.
Christopher walked in with his suitcase, and looked up at Anthony. "Oh? I see you're finished packing already."
Anthony opened one of his eyes. "Hm? Ah, yeah I didn't have to unpack. Don't have any luggage."
"Really? Why not?" The perfectionist asked.
The street rat just shrugged. "Don't really have any."
Christopher decided not to press further. If Anthony wanted to explain, he would. "I see, well if there is something you need; extra shirt, socks, don't be afraid to ask."
"Thanks. I appreciate the thought." Anthony told him.
"Of course, if we're to be teammates, the least I can do is help you out. Though later on down the road if we're against each other, I can't promise to be so kind."
Anthony chuckled. "I fully understand dude."
"Is the bottom bunk taken per chance?" The type-A asked.
"Nope, it's all yours if you'd like." Anthony responded, closing his eyes again.
"Sounds like a plan."
Moving over to the Gophers' cabin, on the girls side, things were quite calm and cordial. Yes, even with Hannah in the mix.
"How're you all feelin' about being here?" Cherry asked.
"I'm super excited!" Rosalina exclaimed. "I can't wait to see some hot guy on guy action!"
"I have to concur." Hannah spoke up. "Gay men are the only men I am able to tolerate. Filthy cishet men are the true scum of the earth."
Cherry lazily nodded her head. "Right on. I'm hoping this'll be a fun experience. I didn't come here to be on a drab show."
"I'm sure it will be exciting." Anisa said. She clasped her hands in front of her chest. "I'm so excited to meet new friends!"
Confessional Cherry
She hums to herself for a moment. "Hm, mates are quite nice to have, but I have plenty of those back home. We're all really here for the money, but if they want to pretend they're not, I'll play along."
End Confessional
The scene flashed to an hour later. The contestants had all filed into the Mess Hall that Chris told them about. There were two long tables there. Most likely, there was one for each team. All of the contestants were standing in line, waiting for their food.
A deep, commanding voice boomed throughout the building. "Listen up! I serve it three times a day, and you'll eat it three times a day!" The camera panned to the right, finally focusing on the source of the voice.
It came from a very tall man with brown skin, and dark eyes. His hulking height and muscled body gave an intimidating appearance to the man, and the anchor tattoo on his arm definitely didn't help him seem friendlier. On his face, the man had a black mustache and a matching goatee. He wore an olive colored shirt with the sleeves pushed up to his elbows, dark green pants, black boots, and a white apron. On top of his bald head was a small white chef's hat.
"Grab a tray, get your food, and sit your butts down now!" The man, known as Chef Hatchet screamed.
Lucien was first in line. He gave a sigh, and said to Chef, "Y'know, I believe the yelling isn't necessary. Can't you speak more softly?"
"Oh my bad sleeping beauty." Chef said sarcastically. He spoke with a softer tone, but he immediately started to yell. "I'll talk however loud I wanna talk! Got that?"
Lucien just gave him a deadpan look. "I suppose."
"Good, now take the food and sit yo ass down!" Chef screamed again. He then took a scoop of some… unknown brown slop, and slapped it onto Lucien's tray. It got all over the astronomer, but he didn't really seem to notice. Lucien took his tray, and went to sit down at his team's table.
Andrew was up next. Chef slapped a bit of slop onto the emo's tray. Andrew looked down at it with disgust. "Gross, this looks worse than my mom's cooking."
"Well if you have such a problem with it, you can get your ass in here and do all teh cooking, how about that!?"
Andrew just scoffed. "As if."
"Good, then I don't want to hear anymore complaining, do I make myself clear?" The buly man yelled as he slammed a cleaver down onto the counter. Anisa, Lester, and Keesha, who were next in line, nodded their heads in fear.
Andrew, however, wasn't amused. "Tch, whatever dude." He picked up his tray, and walked to his table as Anisa slid over to get her food.
"I have a feeling this may be a long season." Keesha whispered to Lester.
The nerd nodded his head in fear. "Y-yeah, I think I-I wet myself when he s-slammed the cleaver down." The soul singer gave him a grossed out look.
"Next!" Chef screamed at the opportunist, which cause him to squeal and slide his try down.
The scene flashed, and everyone had finally gotten their food just as Chris walked into the mess hall. "Welcome to the mess hall!" the host said.
"Hey, Chris? Can we get something else to eat?" Ranbir asked. "I don't know if I can handle this."
"Oh, can we get pizza!?" Freddy asked. All of a sudden, Chef's cleaver went flying towards the horror gamer's head. He managed to duck just in time as the cleaver took his top hat, and lodged it into the wall behind him. "O-or not, this is super yummy too!"
Confessional Freddy
"Man, Chef almost took my head off! He could've killed me!" the gamer exclaimed. "If I'm going to be murdered, it could at least be by a serial killer that stuffs my lifeless body into an animatronic suit, y'know?"
End Confessional
"Glad to see everyone's happy with their meals. You better eat up because your first challenge starts in one hour." The host announced before exiting the mess hall.
The contestants started to gossip and murmur amongst each other.
"I-I wonder what the challenge will be." Celestia wondered aloud. Her eyes widened in fear. "I-I hope it's nothing d-d-deadly!"
From next to her, Rhonda just rolled her eyes. "Whatever, get over yourself wimp. It's only our first challenge, I doubt it'll be that bad."
The scene immediately flashed to all of the contestants standing atop a 1000-ft cliff, looking over to the waters below.
"Huh, didn't see that coming." Rhonda commented as the scene faded to black.
Screaming Gophers: Anisa, Ashe, Cherry, Colin, Dustin, Freddy, Hannah, Keesha, Lester, Rosalina, Tanner
Killer Bass: Andrew, Anthony, Celestia, Christopher, Delanie, Harmonia, Lucien, Miriam, Ranbir, Rhonda, Tamera
Woo! First official chapter finally out! Introductions are such a drag, I must say, but I got through the most tedious part. So here we have our official cast as well. As I said, it's 17 of my oc, and 5 oc from some of my friends. the Stereotypes are as follows:
Andrew Draco "The Emo Hypnotist"
Anthony Jimenez "The Street Rat"
Ashe Ward "The Invisible Dork"
Celestia Mackenley "The Paranoid Med Student"
Cherry Bomne "The Party Gal"
Colin Holden "The Sarcastically-Nice Geek"
Freddy Brown "The Five Nights at Freddy's Fanatic"
Hannah Richardson "The Self-Righteous Blogger"
Harmonia Miko "The Elegant Anthropologist"
Keesha White "The Soul Singer"
Lucien Robensmith "The Drowsy Astronomer"
Miriam Wolfenlogger "The Aloof Archer"
Ranbir Bhatt "The Treasure Hunter"
Rhonda Smalls "The Wrestler"
Rosalina Maza "The Hyperactive Fujoshi"
Tamera Sykes "The Head Bitch in Charge"
Tanner Smith "The Quarterback"
Anisa Mwangi "The Musical Therapist" (NumberOneKatieFan)
Christopher Robin O'Dare "The Type-A Perfectionist (Mystique Monroe)
Delanie Rios "The Method Actress" (Mr. Ruff)
Dustin Westwood "The Musician" ( - A)
Lester Hewbert Fitzgerald "The Oppurtunist" (Phoenix Writer GPH)
So yes, we certainly have a colorful cast don't we? To my friends whose characters I am using, please tell me if I am getting their personalities down. The first chapter is always the rockiest when it comes to truly getting a character down, and I do not want to make any mistakes with them! But yes, hopefully even if the introductions were a bit tedious, I do hope I was still able to keep things entertaining. Next I'm going to get to "Not So Happy Campers pt. 2" before moving back and finally getting back to the next chapter of Towering Fortress. This story actually really helped with my writers block for that story and where to go from here. but yeah, I hope you enjoyed! And until next time, have a great day! ~MG
