I do not own Naruto or One-piece
It has been three weeks since Shanks left. In those three weeks, Naruto and Luffy have been training their newfound abilities. Since Naruto ate his devil fruit he has been noticing a lot of changes in himself, his strength has grown two times the amount it was before making him as physically strong as a teenager. He is more violent than usual and seems to be growing his hair a lot faster than he used to because of this he has grown six whiskers three on each side of his cheeks. He also finds himself fighting with fist more than with his sword.
Naruto's physical appearance isn't the only thing that has changed; he now hears people two miles away. He can also jump really high and finds it easier to see in the dark. Naruto has been learning to control his five senses since all have increased since eating his devil fruit. As for Luffy, the only thing that has changed about him is the fact that he is made out of rubber.
On this particular day as Naruto and Luffy were training an old man came walking toward them. Naruto paid the man no mind but unlike Naruto, Luffy began to stop his training and slowly backed away from the man. Surprised at this Naruto decided to turn around and see who the man was. Once Naruto had turned around he saw a Giant, tanned, broad-chest, muscular old mad. The old man has a beard and a scar over his left eye. He has black hair with patches of grey on it. He wore a dark double-breasted suit with a white shirt and red tire. This is
"'Vice-Admiral' Garp"
"Luffy, is this how you greet your grandpa?!" Garp yelled looking at Luffy. 'Grandpa?' Naruto thought, looking at Luffy. "Hi, grandpa, please don't try to kill me again," Luffy said in a shaky voice. Garp laughed at hearing this, "I'm actually here looking for 'Red-Haired' Shanks." Garp said, wiping a tear away.
"Shanks left three weeks ago," Luffy said, surprised to hear Garp talking about him. "Is that so? Oh, and who is this kid with you, is he a friend?"
"His name is Naruto. He came on Shanks' ship a year ago." Luffy said pointing at Naruto. This made Naruto a little nervous about how this information changed the way Garp Interacted with him. "I hope you don't plan on becoming a Pirate like Shanks. You should try to become a marine like Luffy" Garp says confidently. 'A marine??'
"What's a Marine?" Naruto asked. Naruto has spent the last six years of his life on a pirate ship and not once was the word marine ever mentioned. This made Luffy and Garp look at Naruto dumbfounded. Luffy simply began to laugh before saying, "Are you dumb?!"
"The Marines are a World Government Military sea force. They capture all types of pirates." Garp says looking at Naruto. This makes Luffy remember something, "Grandpa, I have decided that I don't want to be a pirate anymore."
"That good to he-"
"I wanna be KING OF THE PIRATES," Luffy yelled in Garp's ear. This made Garp hit Luffy on the head. "HAHAHA! Your punches can't hurt me anymore. I ate a devil fruit." Luffy said, taunting Garp. Garp simply hit Luffy once again but unlike last time it actually hurt Luffy.
"Don't tell that stupid 'Red-Hair' Inspired you?" Garp said, questioning Luffy. "Hey don't insult Shanks, he saved my life!" Luffy yelled angrily at Garp.
"Luffy, I've changed my mind. I'm going to get you out of this Island just in case Shanks tries to come here again and Influence you." Garp said, grabbing Luffy and Looking at Naruto. "You too!" He says grabbing Naruto as well. Unable to resist due to Garp's strength, Naruto decides to simply comply and leave with Garp.
For the next three months, Naruto and Luffy had been getting trained by Garp to become great Marins. During this time Garp would teach Naruto the basic thing about the world they live in. Garp would also find out Naruto had a devil fruit and would help Naruto to have full control of his five senses. Now that Naruto knows how to control his senses he doesn't start hearing stuff randomly or smelling stuff randomly. Luffy simply came up with a new Gomu Gomu No technique.
Garp's vacation finally ended and Luffy and Naruto expected to be going back to Foosha Village. But instead, Garp had them walking up a mountain. Luffy and Garp were arguing about what Luffy would become in the future while Naruto simply walked behind Garp wondering where they could be going. Once at the top of the mountain Naruto and Luffy see a shack excited about this. Both Naruto and Luffy decide to run around the shack while Garp knocks on explaining the situation to a woman. As Naruto and Luffy ran around Garp picked up both of them and introduced them to the woman.
"This is Luffy, he is my grandson, say hi Luffy," Garp Said lifting Luffy. "Yo," Luffy said, waving at them.
"And this is Naruto, he's a friend of my grandson. I met him three months ago. Say hi" Garp said, lifting Naruto. "Hey," Naruto said, picking his nose. Garp put both Naruto and Luffy down before continuing his conversation with the woman. As Naruto and Luffy were standing still, somebody spat at them. Unlike Luffy, Naruto is able to avoid the attack and quickly looks in the direction it came from.
"Hey, say sorry that's gross!" Luffy yelled looking at this dark-haired boy. The dark-haired boy didn't respond to this and Naruto being Naruto decided to attack the boy. To Naruto's surprise, the boy was able to easily dodge Naruto's attack and land his own attack on Naruto with a metal pipe. "Ow!" Naruto yelled in pain as he scratched the top of his head. This caught Garp's attention causing him to turn around and smile at the boy. "Ace!" he yelled walking towards them.
"Naruto is three years older than you so it's best you don't pick a fight with him," Garp said Laughing at the bruise Ace gave Naruto. "Luffy, and Naruto, you're gonna be living here from now on. Both Naruto and Luffy continued to growl at Ace who seemed to be calm, this made Garp hit both kids upside the head. Although Naruto was still angry he noticed that Luffy had calmed down a bit after putting his straw hat on his head.
Luffy and Naruto then enter the shack surprised at how dark it is. After taking a few steps both Naruto and Luffy are captured by the bandit inside the shack. "Give us all the money you have." They said pointing their knives at both of them. "We don't have any money!" Naruto yelled in fear.
"Then give us your parent's name!"They demanded. "I only have my grandpa," Luffy said, trying to get out.
"Who's your grandpa?" They asked in excitement. "Garp-san," a short man named Dogra said, looking at the group. This caused the group of bandits to scream in fear at that moment Dadan brings out a big pile of meat.
"Lunchtime boys!" She yells, grabbing a piece of meat from the pile. Both Luffy and Naruto drool at this and start running at the pile. Once at the pile they both find it very hard to get a piece of meat. By the end, Naruto and Luffy are both eating a bowl of rice because they were unable to get a single piece of meat. After eating the rice they both complain at the woman Dadan before Luffy notices Ace leaving. Luffy taps Naruto's shoulder and tells Naruto to follow him, not knowing what is going on Naruto follows Luffy.
"Wait for us!" Luffy yells chasing behind Ace. Ace stopped walking to look behind himself, this made Luffy stop running and say, "Hi my name is Luffy. His name is Naruto, I know we started at a rough start but I'm not mad anymore. Let's be friends!" He yelled at Ace. Ace simply kicked a tree next to him twice causing it to fall off and start heading towards Naruto and Luffy. They both started to run off somewhere before off somewhere. 'The next time I see him I swear I'll kill him' Naruto thought himself running away.
As Ace was crossing a bridge Naruto came running behind him prepared to throw a right jab at Ace. Ace quickly dodged Naruto's attack and hit Naruto off the bridge. This makes Luffy mad and tells Ace to apologize to Luffy's surprise Ace also hits Luffy off the bridge. On that day Ace came home alone and after one week Luffy and Naruto finally made it back. Luffy was carrying Naruto while walking toward the shack. Naruto seemed to have more cuts and bruises than Luffy did and due to Naruto not being rubber, he was not as durable as Luffy.
Dadan came outside and was surprised to see the state Naruto was in compared to Luffy. "What happened to you guys where have you been?" she asked, squeezing Luffy's cheeks. "We were being chased by wolves down the valley."
"What were you doing at the bottom of the valley?" Dogra asked. Luffy didn't respond to this question. They decided to leave it alone and bring them inside. Both Naruto and Luffy slept next to Ace. The next morning Luffy and Naruto followed behind Ace chasing him again although for a different reason Naruto planned on beating him to a pulp while Luffy wanted to become friends with Ace. And for the next few days, things will be like that until one-day Naruto and Luffy can keep up with him.
During those days Naruto decided to ask Luffy a question, "Why do we keep chasing Ace around?" Luffy looked at Naruto as if Naruto was the stupid one, "So we can be friends with him? Didn't you say you wanted to make more friends?" Luffy asked, confused.
"Well, yeah but not with him." Naruto yelled angrily. "Why don't you want to be friends with him?" Luffy asked.
"Because he doesn't want to be friends with us." Naruto said, pointing out the obvious. "Well Just have to keep trying,"Luffy said, persuading Naruto.
"Fine." Naruto said running beside Luffy as they began to approach the end of the forest.
"What is this place?" Both Naruto and Luffy asked at the same time. They both simply shrugged before walking down into this junkyard of a place yelling Ace's name as they walked through it. As they are walking through the junkyard Naruto sees Ace running out of it with a pouch of stuff in his. Naruto goes to tap Luffy but notices he's already after him. They both follow Ace into the forest and find him talking to a blonde kid with curly hair. As they stood there they would hear them talk about their dreams of becoming pirates.
"You guys wanna be pirates too! I'm gonna become one too!" Luffy yells, smiling at them. Naruto simply smirks at this, they both quickly come down with the blonde hitting Naruto and Ace hitting Luffy. They quickly tied Naruto and Luffy up to the tree Ace and the blonde would be talking to them while Naruto would simply ignore whatever they were saying and challenge Ace to fight. As Naruto continued to scream at Ace and tell him to fight him Ace would say something that would cause him to start crying and screaming. Three-man from the junkyard hear this screaming and start walking towards them.
Ace and the blonde would quickly realize this and untie Naruto and Luffy and make them hide somewhere. Naruto would quickly realize what was going on and decide to stay quiet for the time being. "Damn it I didn't know those thugs were working for Bluejam!" Ace whispered in anger.
"You mean you stole money from them?" The blonde questioned. "I shouldn't have stolen from them.."Ace said looking at them
"That's Porchemy who works under Bluejam. He has a real sword. He's crazy, did you know that? He strips off your scalp alive after you lose a fight with him" The blonde asked in fear. Luffy gulped before Ace said, "Let's just let them pass for now." Naruto agreed to this, looking to his right to see Luffy is gone when he looks back at Porchemy he sees Luffy being caught by him.
"Help me, Ace!" Luffy yells causing Ace to push Naruto's head down while the blonde just ducked by himself. "That fool is calling my name!" Ace whispered in fear/anger.
"We should help him," Naruto said, trying to get out of Ace's grip. "Do you know Ace?" Porchemy asked Luffy.
"I'm his friend! Oh, but he just tried to kill me." Luffy said, looking at Porchemy. "That fool has a big mouth." Ace whispered in anger.
"I heard Ace stole some money from us and ran today. You don't know where it is now, do you?" Porchemy asked. "Oh no! They're gonna take all our treasure away!" The blonde whispered in defeat.
"I hope that fool doesn't tell them!" Ace whispers. "So what do you say?" Porchemy asked once more.
"I don't know," Luffy says lying.They all start to chuckle with Pochemy saying, "Alright, alright! It can't be helped that you don't know. Don't worry I'll help you bring back the memory!" This shocks Naruto, Ace, and the blonde.
"What are you doing?! Let me go! Where are you taking me?! Dammit! Stupid! Let me go!" Luffy yelled as Pochemy carried him off somewhere. "What should we do?" The blonde asked Looking at Ace.
"You know what we should do!" Ace said, looking at their treasure. During this time Naruto had run off chasing after Porchemy to save Luffy. When Naruto reached the Junkyard he didn't hear Luffy screaming in pain which made him kinda happy, but this would make it harder for him to find Luffy. After a few minutes of searching, Naruto began to hear the screams of Luffy. Naruto quickly ran in the direction of the scream in fear of what would happen if he didn't make it in time.
Once he was at the place Luffy was being tortured he quickly bust down the door seeing Luffy beaten a bloody up. Naruto became angry at this sight turning into his Byakko form he quickly attacked Porchemy with his teeth running at him to try to bite Pochemy by the throat. Pochemy punches Naruto in the gut, taking him out of his form. He tied Naruto as well and began to beat Naruto as if he was a punching bag he continued to beat Naruto until he was knocked out Luffy simply cried telling Pochemy to stop. Which he did but once he stopped he began to attack Luffy just barely keeping alive until sundown. When it was sundown Ace and the blonde kid cam saving Naruto and Luffy.
After saving them they all sat down in the forest. Ace had poured water down on Naruto waking him up. When woken up Naruto sees Luffy crying about how he thought he and Naruto were going to die. "You're so annoying! Shut up! Stop crying already! I don't like cowards or people who cry a lot!" Ace yelled at Luffy. This made Luffy instantly stop crying which surprised Naruto he's not used to seeing Luffy act like this. "T-thank you!... You helped us." Luffy said crying again.
"You-"
"Whoa, he's just being thankful." the blonde said, trying to calm Ace down. "Why didn't you even tell them in the first place? They're the kind of people that kill women and children without hesitation!" Ace yelled at Luffy and Naruto. "Because I thought you wouldn't be friend with us if we did." Luffy said, tearing up again.
"Because they didn't ask me. I have no plans on becoming friends with you." Naruto said looking away." Naruto said looking at Ace. "Shut up!" Ace yelled at Naruto.
"Why do you wanna be friends with Ace so badly?" Naruto finally asked. "Yeah wouldn't you rather live than die? Why do you wanna be friends with me so bad?" Ace asked curious about Luffy's intentions.
"Because," Luffy said, trying to explain. "Haven't I been giving the two of you a hard time until now? How could you follow me this far?" Ace asked Luffy
"Because we have nobody else to trust. We can't go back to Foosha Village and I don't like mountain bandits! If I didn't follow you, Naruto and I would be all alone. Being lonely is more painful than getting hit. And Naruto said he wanted to make more friends in future" Luffy said, embarrassing Naruto.
"Where are your guys parents?" Ace asked.
"I only have my grandpa." Luffy says looking at Ace. Ace then turned to Naruto waiting for his answer. "I don't have any that I know of." Naruto said, looking at the sky.
"I think you should give them a chance." The blonde said to Ace. Ace didn't respond right away as if he was remembering something. "Do you two think that I should live?" Ace asked, looking at both of them.
"Yes of course." Luffy says, responding quickly. Unlike Luffy, Naruto took his time thinking about it and said, "Yes everyone deserves to have a chance at life."
"Fine but I don't like spoiled kids like you." Ace said pointing at Luffy. THis made Luffy and Ace get into an argument. While the blonde kid had decided to introduce himself to Naruto.
"Hi im Sabo," He said, stretching his hand out to Naruto. "Uzumaki Naruto." Naruto said, shaking Sabo's hand. After that Naruto and Sabo took both Ace and Luffy away from each other trying to end this argument.
"Hey, by the way, I have a little problem." Sabo said, getting Ace and Luffys attention.
"What? a problem?" Luffy asked.
"Yeah, Bluejam and the others will definitely try to kill us after this. And I live in this forest so it would be too dangerous for me. That's why I need your help." Sabo said, bringing them in a hudle.
