I don't own Naruto or One-Piece
It's been three days since Naruto left out to sea. Naruto was taking a nap on his rowboat when it began to rain. After a few drops of rain he was awakened by the loud sound of thunder. Naruto quickly looked around to see where he was, because of Naruto's lack of navigational skills he seemed to find himself getting sucked into the whirlpool. "Wind Jet!" Naruto yelled, grabbing his bag and sending him flying through the air, but he did destroy his boat by doing this.
Once in the sky Naruto looked around trying to find the nearest island. Looking south he was able to find an island about twenty kilometers away (12 Miles). Naruto then began to build up more wind at the bottom of his feet yelling, "Wind Jet!" This sent him flying south towards the island. When Naruto began to fly past the island he quickly grabbed onto a tree stopping his movement.
Naruto's actions quickly got the attention of the people who were currently celebrating at the coast of the island. Naruto simply gave them a nervous smile before coming down and reading his map to see where he was. 'Craft Island 'is known for having amazing shipwrights. This was the best island to land on I guess.' Naruto thought of himself putting the map away. Hen began to walk towards the people celebrating. "Hey, what are you celebrating?" Naruto asked, thinking it would be a good conversation starter.
"We're celebrating the birth of my child!" A man with light brown hair and brown eyes said. "People do that?" Naruto asked because he had never seen anyone celebrate a child birth.
"Of course they do, What's your name boy? I'm Chack." He said, offering Naruto a drink. "My names Uzumaki Naruto and I come from the Goa Kingdom."
"Goa Kingdom? This is pretty far from home then. So what are you doing all the way here?" Chack asked pulling up two chairs for him and Naruto to sit on. Naruto noticed that the view on this beach was pretty nice.
"Well, I'm an Adventurer." Naruto starts off with a surprising Chack. "We don't get that much adventurer these days. Because everyone is becoming a pirate and looking for the One Piece."
Naruto simply smiled at what Chack said before continuing, "My boat was drifting through the sea for these last three days. And suddenly I found myself getting sucked into a whirlpool. Good thing I was able to get myself out of there." Naruto said, taking a sip of orange soa. Chack laughed at the story saying, "And now you need a new ship." Naruto just nodded in response.
"Good thing, I know a guy." Chack said getting and tapping Naruto's shoulder. "We're going to Wright city."
"What about your kids' party?" Naruto asked following being Chack. "Don't worry about them, they are not even here. They're still in the hospital." Chack said, taking a sip of ail.
'Then why even celebrate?' Naruto thought to himself as they walked on a wooden path. "Some people are just weird I guess." Naruto accidentally said out loud. "Who are you talking about?" Chack asked, confused at this sudden comment.
"Nobody, I was just thinking of someone I met in the past.I didn't know I said that out loud." Naruto said, laughing at himself. Chack decided to leave it alone and continue to lead Naruto.
When they got to Wright city Naruto quickly noticed the river leading to the ocean. It looked like a typical urban community with many buildings and ships around the area. Naruto quickly noticed that a lot of ships were for sale at the port of the rivers. There seemed to be five buildings that made ships and everyone else in the city was either a citizen or had a normal job.
Chack lead Naruto into a building with a giant oyster symbol on it. When they entered Chack was quickly greeted by a seven foot tall man who was very muscular; he seemed to be in his thirties. "So, Chack what can I do for you?" The man asked, looking at Naruto. "Oh will this kid, Naruto need a new ship so he can leave the island."
"Yugo, go show him some ships we have." The man said to the guy who is currently taking a nap. Yugo seems to be the same age as Naruto. He has brown skin and seems to have a skinny but fit body build. He has black long dreads that reach his nose, he also has light brown eyes and seems to be growing a little bit of a mustache over his top lip.
Yugo had on a brown shirt tucked into his blue jeans. When Yugo got up Naruto could also notice the sandals he was wearing. Yugo seemed to be about 6ft'1 when he walked up to the man. "Why do I have to do it? Why can't you do it Kinvu?" Yugo asked, annoyed at the fact he has to work.
"Well if you're gonna be living with me then you're gonna have to work!" Kinvu yelled annoyed at Yugo. Yugo simply sighed saying, "Well then I'm only gonna be showing him the ships I made." Yugo began to walk away from Kinvu.
"Fine with me as long as you're working." Kinvu said with a slight chuckle. Naruto followed behind Yugo while Chack simply stayed behind talking to Kinvu,
"Hey, my name is Uzumaki Naruto." Naruto said walking besides Yugo. "Yugo. So why do you wanna leave this island for, won't you miss your friends?" Yugo asked curiously.
"I'm not from here so I wont have anybody to miss. And I have to fulfill a promise I made to myself." Naruto said laughing at the fact Yugo thought he was from here.
"Sorry I just assumed you were from here because the island doesn't get that many visitors these days. So were you heading to?" Yugo asked as they continued to walk. "I'm going to the Grand Line!" Naruto said with a smile of confidence.
Yugo smiles upon hearing this and is about to respond to what Naruto said, but sees something happening on one the ships outside. "Those stupid bandit again!" Yugo yelled in anger, grabbing something from his pocket. The thing quickly grows into an iron staff and Yugo quickly jumps onboard the ships with Naruto following behind.
"It's Yugo again!!" One of the bandits yelled, getting all their attention. "You guys just never learn, do you?" Yugo asked, smirking. Three bandits quickly run up toward the helm and attack Yugo. Yugo dodges their attack and quickly swings his staff towards them, hitting them into the river. Two more bandits try to attack Naruto but Naruto dodges their attacks and pushes them towards Yugo. Yugo quickly turns around hitting the other two bandits.
Ten more bandits come out of the captain's quarters ready to attack Yugo and Naruto. "Seems like small attacks won't be enough for you guys." Yugo said, jumping down to the deck and smirking. "Grow Shaka!" He says making his staff grow to about the size of the deck.
"Spiraling Spin!"He shouts, spinning around and hitting all the Bandits off the ship and into the river. "Shrink Shaka!" He says making his staff shrink into the size of a small stick. "What is that?" Naruto asked, smiling at him curiously.
"It's just an iron staff I found on the island beach a few years ago. Its name is Shaka." Yugo said, showing it to Naruto. Naruto simply nodded at this saying, "I guess we should put the ship back where it belongs."
"Yeah." Yugo said turning the ship back."Those stupid Jug Bandits always trying to steal ships." This caught Naruto's attention.
"Who are the Jug Bandits?" Naruto asked, looking at Yugo. "They are just a group of bandits led by "Sir" Jug. They're always causing trouble in this city!" Yugo said angrily.
"Why don't you just kick their ass? I mean you seem to be pretty strong?" Naruto asked, confused. "Because nobody knows where their base is and how am I gonna beat somebody worth 12,000,000 Berries?" Yugo asked, letting a slight chuckle out.
Naruto simply shrugged at this saying, "You never know until you try." Yugo ignores this and goes to drop the anchor. "Let's go back to your shopping." He said getting off the boat. Naruto nodded and followed behind.
"So, I'm guessing you're gonna need a strong ship since you're going to the Grand Line?" Yugo said unsure if he was correct. Naruto just nodded. "Okay well I got some bad news, people stopped making ships strong enough for the Grand Line because like I said before we have less visitors. Good news is I can make a ship good enough and big enough for five people in three days. I'll Just have to redesign the ship I'm working on right now. So it will cost about 5,000,000 Berries." Young said, scratching the back of his head. "5,000,000 how the hell am I supposed to make that?Oh I can catch that Jug guy!" Naruto said smiling.
"Yeah but you won't be able to get the money unless you turn him into the marines and there is no Marine base on this island. So, I guess you gotta get a job." Yugo said, picking his nose. "Damn it!" Naruto yelled in annoyance.
"Well, good luck with finding a job. See you in three days," Yugo said walking away from Naruto. Naruto then began looking for a job inside the city. At every place he went to he got denied for being too disobedient. As Naruto continued his search for a job he found one place outside the city. The building Naruto was looking at has a giant black smith sign on it. This made Naruto kinda happy because he needed a new sword.
Cling! Is the sound of a bell moving as Naruto opened the door to come in. "Excuse me, anyone!?" Naruto yelled as he walked in. Naruto is surprised to see the amount of weapons located in the store. The store seemed to have another room behind the cash register and all Naruto could hear is clanging coming from that room. Naruto jumped over the cash register so he could enter the room and see what was going on in there.
Inside the room Naruto saw a short oldwoman working on a sword. The woman seemed to be in her late eighties. "Hey granny, what are you working on?" Naruto asked taking a chair and move it next to her. "What do you think?" The old lady said not realizing another person is in her black smiths room. After saying that she looked at Naruto and then at the room door.
"HELP!! I'M BEING ROBBED!!"She yelled, falling down in fear. "WAIT! CALM DOWN!!" I'M NOT HERE TO ROB YOU I JUST WANT A JOB!" Naruto yelled trying not to cause a scene. 'Maybe I shouldn't have come into this room without permission.' He thought to himself.
"Oh, well then you're hired." She said getting up and smacking the dust off her clothes. "Really?!" Naruto asked in excitement.
"Yes, and since you're gonna be working for me I guess you should know my name. My name is Sherry." She said, grabbing Naruto and moving him towards the door. "You're gonna be working the register." She said pushing him out the door and closing it.
Once the door was shut Naruto began to jump around in excitement. 'This is my first job!! I bet Ace never had a job. I'll make sure to tell him this when I see him.' Naruto thought to himself as he continued to jump around.
Cling! Three people enter the store surprised to see a blonde teen jumping around with a smile on his face. After noticing the three men, Naruto quickly stopped jumping around asking, "What can I do for you?" The men simply shook their heads trying to forget what happened. Naruto then took a seat and waited for one of them to come up and buy something. Naruto then began to just sit there and watch the men buy what they needed. "We would like to buy 50 of these." One of the men said putting down a cutlass. "Okay but you do know that these swords are worth 50,000 berries?" The men simply nodded in response. Naruto then brought them a carriage filled with 49 more cutlass swords.
"That will be 2,500,000 berries." Naruto said in shock 'I didn't know black smiths could make this much money.' he thought. The men simply put down two big pouches filled with berries on the desk. Naruto then counted if it was the correct amount of money before letting them leave. Once done counting Naruto let the men leave, Naruto then went to the black smiths room to announce this to the Sherry.
"Granny, we just made 2,500,000 berries!" Naruto yelled in excitement. "Is that so? Let me see?" She asked. Naruto complied, giving her the money, Sherry then began to count the money before handing Naruto 500,000 berries. Cling! "Looks like I have more customers!" Naruto said, running back to the register.
When Naruto comes out he is surprised to see the three men back in the shop but unlike last time it seems they don't have good intentions. "Hey, we would like to get our money back." One of the men said grinning at Naruto. "Sorry we don't do refunds." Naruto said, picking his nose.
"Refund?? Who said anything about Refunds? We will keep our cutlass sword but you'll be giving us back the money we gave you." The man pointed his cutlass at Naruto. 'This would be a good stretching exercise!' Naruto thought to himself as the men grew impatient waiting for his response. One of the men grew tired of waiting and ran towards Naruto, thrusting his sword Naruto. Naruto simply dodges the attack before jumping over the counter "This area is much more fitted for fighting." Naruto said, grabbing a sword from one of the shelves.
'It's been 9 years since I used an actual sword, I wonder If I'm still good.' Naruto thought as the man came rushing towards Naruto ready to slice him. Naruto parried the man's attack causing him to get off balance, Naruto then sweep kicked the man's foot causing him to fall down. Naruto. The other two men then rushed at Naruto both swinging their cutlasses at Naruto, Naruto blocked both their attacks with ease. Both men seem to smirk as their leader begins to get up and run at Naruto. "Spinning Whirl Attack!" Naruto yelled, spinning around and knocking all three of them unconscious.
"You know how to handle a sword." Sherry said standing at the cash register. "Sorry I was too loud. I didn't mean to distract you from your work." Naruto said putting the sword back on its shelf.
"I wasn't gonna let them steal from your shop." Naruto said, smiling at Sherry. Sherry simply nodded and left 400,000 berries at the register. "You can have that for protecting my store." Sherry said going back to work.
"Thank you granny!" Naruto yelled, taking the money and moving the three men away from the shop. Naruto then sat down at the cash register grabbing the Newspaper. 'Something interesting might be on it' Naruto thought to himself. " 'Fire Fist' Ace the only 'Supernova' of his generation joins the Whitebeard pirates as a second divison commander." Naruto said, smiling at the newspaper.
