Summary: At seventeen years of age, Atreus and his father found themselves in another realm, one that was unfortunately filled with the less crazy, but irritating versions of the gods they had slain. Can they live their life in peace? Or the supernatural world of DxD will be forced to know the full might of THE God of War? Atreus will try to make sure that won't happen… anytime soon at least.
The story will focus on Atreus, with Kratos being a side-character most of the time.

Chapter 14
"Good afternoon, everyone!" Atreus said, smiling pleasantly as he opened the door of the ORC clubroom and walked in, noticing that the other members of the club had already arrived before him and were already taking their eases around the room. It did not take it long, however, for the young god of mischief from another world to notice the other people, or devils in the case, beside Rias and her peerage in the room, one of whom being none other than Sona Sitri, the president of the student council, and the other high class devil of Kuoh Academy.
The other devil, who was standing behind Sona as she sat facing Rias and drinking tea with her at the set of Victorian style couches and table in the center of the room, meanwhile, was a young man with short blond hair and gray eyes, looking to be in the second year like Issei, Asia and Kiba. His clothing was the Kuoh Academy boys' school uniform, albeit without the blazer and his sleeves were also rolled up.
"Atreus-san."
"Sona."
Atreus replied, when Sona turned her gaze over to him and gave him a nod of acknowledgement in greeting, which she always did whenever the two of them cross-pathed with each other in the hallways of Kuoh Academy.
"Good afternoon, Atreus." Rias said, beaming radiantly as she turned her head to look at Atreus. "Come on in and grab your seat. Please don't mind us. We are just officially introducing our newest servants to each other, that's all."
"Sure." Atreus nodded, and walked into the room while removing his backpack from his shoulder before taking his seat on the couch next to Rias, who had her two newest servants, Issei and Asia, standing behind her. "So, I assume that this is your new servant, Sona. Please to meet you." He then greeted, looking at the blonde haired young man standing behind Sona, who turned her head slightly to the side to give him a firm look, making him flinch a bit.
"Ah… My name is Genshirou Saji. Please to meet you, Atreus-senpai!" The young man said, introducing himself to Atreus, who gave the young man a nod of his head before accepting a cup of green tea from Akeno. Saji looked at him for a moment, before he decided to ask "Uhmm… I am sorry for asking this, but… you are not a devil, Atreus-senpai?"
"Yeah. I am not." Atreus answered, shaking his head as he drank Akeno's green tea.
"Then that means you are not Rias-senpai's servants. How are you a member…"
"Saji." Sona interrupted her servant firmly before he could finish his question, making him look at her while scratching the back of his head in confusion. "My deepest apology, Atreus-san. Saji has only recently joined my peerage, so he's still not fully aware of your situation with me and Rias."
"It's alright. I don't mind." Atreus shook his head and replied, looking at Saji for a second before he decided to ask "By the way, if you don't mind me asking, what is his role in your peerage?"
"He's the [Pawn] of my peerage, Atreus-san." Sona answered with a nod of her head, having been told by Rias and reaffirmed by her brother Sirzechs and her own sister Serafall Leviathan herself that it's alright to share some information with Atreus.
"So you are like then Issei."
"Please don't compare me to that pervert, senpai!" Saji shook his head and said nonchalantly, making Atreus raise an eyebrow in amusement as the blonde haired young man turned his gaze over to Issei, who growled quietly under his breath as he stared right back at the other Pawn "It really hurts my pride that I am like one of those perverts."
"Grr, you want to pick a fight with me?" Issei asked through gritted teeth.
"Oh? You want to fight me, Hyoudou?" Saji asked, refusing to back down. "I might not look like it, but I consumed four [Pawns] of Kaichou's Evil Pieces set, so even if I just turned into a devil I definitely won't lose to someone like you, Hyoudou."
"Saji, stop it." Sona raised her voice again, this time a little more reproachfully as she turned around to look directly at him, making Saji look quite uncomfortable "The reason I took you here today is so Rias and I could introduce our new servants to each other. If you are my servant, then please try your best to not embarrass me in front of a fellow high class devil, and an ally of us here at the school that we use as our base of operation in the human world."
Pausing for a second, Sona then added, as she turned her head back to look at Issei "Not to mention, Issei Hyoudou-kun appears to be much stronger than you are right now. The fact that he consumed Rias 8 pawn pieces is definitely not just for show."
"8 pieces?!" Saji asked in shock.
"I'm sorry Hyoudou Issei-kun, Asia Argento-san." Sona continued as she smiled apologetically to both Issei and Asia "My servant still has a bit of a rude attitude. If it's okay, could you please get along with him?"
"Uhm… sure." Issei said with an unsure nod of his head, looking at Rias who gave him a nod of her head to urge him to step forward just as Sona signaled Saji to do the same. Reluctantly, the two Pawns did what their masters wanted them to and stepped forward to stand facing each other before speaking up, almost at the same time.
"Let's get along, Hyoudou."
"Of course, of course."
"Yea. Let's get along." Unlike the two young men, Asia chirped happily with the biggest and brightest smile Atreus had ever seen from a young woman, instantly making the atmosphere between Issei and Saji become less tense, as the latter turned his gaze to her with a flattered smile.
"Yes! If it's Asia-san then I'm more than happy!" He said, grabbing Asia's hand, but only for a moment as Issei pushed her back to step between them and grabbed Saji's hand, shaking hand with him while squeezing down as hard as he could, something that Saji appeared to be doing the moment they were facing each other again.
"Haha ha! Saji-kun! Please take care of me too! I will also definitely kill you if you lay a finger on Asia. Okay, Saji-kun?!" Issei spoke with a fake smile.
"Yea! Yea! Let's get along Hyoudou-kun! To have a beautiful blonde just for yourself, you really are a sadist! Man, I wish you would die when lightning strikes you while you're on your way home!" Saji nodded his head and said pleasantly, with sparks flying between their eyes as they glared at each other intensely.
"You seem to be having a hard time, Rias."
"You too, Sona."
Rias and Sona spoke to each other while sighing longingly in disappointment. It was after this that Sona turned her attention back to Atreus, and spoke to him with a surprisingly friendly smile compared to all the smiles she had given him and the others so far.
"By the way, Atreus-san. I would like to thank you for saving Rias from her marriage engagement with Raiser Phenex." Sona said, making Saji gasp in astonishment before snapping his head over to look at Atreus after letting go of Issei's hand finally. "The fight between you and him is a private affair between the Gremory and Phenex, but I am one of the individuals who was fortunate enough to know of the situation between the two households because of my friendship with Rias, and the fact that our families are also good friends with each other. I have to say that I was quite surprised when I heard you challenged Raiser Phenex for Rias' freedom, and defeated him quite spectacularly against the unlikely odd of him being immortal."
"It's not that hard, if you know how to take advantage of the flaws in his immortality." Atreus pointed out while smiling.
"With the marriage engagement out of the way, I have no doubt that Rias can finally enjoy her school life at Kuoh Academy to the fullest. For that, I have to thank you, Atreus-san." Sona then said with a bow of appreciation to Atreus, who smiled and nodded his head to her, allowing Sona to raise her head before speaking to Rias "Speaking of which, I will be looking forward to facing you in the upcoming Ball Tournament."
"The feeling is mutual, Sona. I am not going to lose to you this year." Rias said, smiling confidently at her rival and childhood friend.
"I have no doubt that you will be quite a formidable opponent this year, Rias. Although, it's not that you have ever possessed a challenge to me anyway." Sona replied challengingly, but Rias simply smiled back in response "What about you, Atreus-san? I heard that you had recently joined the Occult Research Club as an official club member. Will you be participating in any game?"
"I will." Atreus answered, nodding his head.
And with that, Sona and Saji bid them goodbye and left the room, heading back to the office of the Student Council in the new school building. The occult research club, meanwhile, went on with their daily club activities and soon began their preparations for the upcoming sport event. Because they did not know what sports they would be playing against the other clubs during the event, Rias believed that it's best that they trained for every possible team sport, which included baseball, basketball, soccer and even volleyball.
Break
BANG! BANG!
The sound of the start of the Ball Tournament echoed throughout the academy.
As Atreus helped Issei and Asia out with some light exercises, he couldn't help but notice that some dark clouds were approaching. He remembered the weather broadcast he had watched with Mimir earlier that morning saying that it was going to rain in the evening, so the young god seriously hoped that it wouldn't rain until the tournament had ended, as the whole school had been looking forward to this event.
[Tsukmoto-kun of the "Manga research club", Hashioka-sensei is calling you. Please come to the staff room immediately.]
The PA speakers, which had been placed throughout the school, were making announcements endlessly. Because the club matches were at the end, they didn't have to worry about it till the end of the day. First, there were the matches between classes. His class was going to compete in football but Atreus decided to not participate, much to the disappointment of the girls who idolized him, and the guys in class who believed that with Atreus, who had showed exceptional skill in PE class despite having held back as much as he could, it would be an easy win for them. The reason he decided to decline was quite simple. It was because many of his classmates were members of the academy's high school football team, so he believed they should not have much problem playing against the other classes themselves.
Kiba and Koneko, meanwhile, would be participating in their class matches, and the two had already left to do so.
Once the games between classes were done, they would have some matches amongst genders and then after lunch, the club matches would start.
"Hey, we're back!" Rias announced her return, as she approached the remaining members of her club alongside Akeno while smiling fearlessly. "We know what game we will be playing in the afternoon."
"So what game are we going to play then?" Atreus couldn't help but ask.
"Dodgeball!"
Atreus couldn't help but laugh a little in amusement. No wonder why Rias was so confident in their chance of winning.
End of Chapter 14
Note: and that is the end of this chapter. Sorry for taking so long, everyone, and I understand that here's literally nothing in this chapter worth noting, and it's not even good enough to be considered a filler chapter.
However, please understand that the reason why I make the 14th chapter like this is because I have been stuck with writer-block for this chapter (the plot of the ball tournament) for a while now. It is the reason why it took me so long to finish this chapter, which is only for me to get it over with so I can continue writing this story normally from this point onwards. I think it's better than just leaving the story on hiatus for so long, no?
So for next chapter, we probably will have a small timeskip let me skip over the ball tournament and get into the Excalibur arc, where I have planned everything that will be done. Once again, my deepest apology for the long delay of this chapter, as well as the reason it is also so short. I hope that everyone will understand and forgive me (I will come back to rewriter this chapter later, and make sure to inform in the latest chapter).
