Author's note Draft 2

If the story does not say draft 2, it's not the final draft

And in this chapter, I wanted to explore the main character's relationship with her family. That's why there are so many points of view. And there are Nineteen different foreshadowing parts. Another reason for all the POV is to show there is going to be a lot of world building and to show what the other character sees and feels is different from what Louise thinks.

This is ch is long because it is the 10 ch and ch most likely be this long in the future.

Life Worth 0

XV-XVI

XV (Monday, the 2 of September 1957. New Orleans, United States of America)

"Who did it" Ista asked as she stormed into the living room with an irate expression on her face saying each word as if it was venom.

The peaceful atmosphere my family were bathing in evaporated. The sewing needle I was using pitch me in the finger.

"No one," Ista said with an expression that says she is losing her patience. "Alright… so no one has an answer for me" She stands while slowly looking at each one of us.

"Ista please... Explain, "Dad asked while putting down our set of needles.

"The extra food, we have in the food storage" She has lost any patience she may have, with how she looks like she is ready to throttle anybody in the room.

"Who did it?" She said. I just know from the look on her face that if nobody said anything, this was going to just only get worse.

"I did it," I said, getting up to face my punishment. 'It will all be quicker' I thought

"You Stupid Ungrateful Child!"

In the future, when I try to look back on this moment, I won't remember it too clearly. What I do remember was raising my hand to shield my face.

"Ista the office," My dad said as he held on to Ista's wrist with a bone-crushing hold. At that point, I had uncovered my face to see Lynda standing in front of me.

"Louis wha, "Ista said, trying to yank her arm back.

"The office, "Dad cut her off. With dad saying it again, her tension was fully now on him. They stare at each other for a long minute, then Dad finally at least her arm.

Then she marched out of the room. Dad then turns his attention back to us.

"Go to your rooms," He said with a very sad and heavy voice.

I did not go to my room.

Louis Pov

Louise was the first one to leave. She was not going to her room, I concluded when I heard the front door shut.

"Neil" I begin

"Already on it," He said, heading out next to follow her.

With that, I left the room, but not without hearing Lynda's saying to let her go.

Ran my hand through my hair as I walked to the office. 'The last couple of months have been stressful'

Before walking, I calm myself by taking a deep breath.

Entering the room, I shut the door and leaning my back on it, then stared at her.

"You were out of line" I stated was a surprising amount of venom. 'I'm not calm enough for this, I thought as I bald my fist. 'I need to end this fast'

"No, Louis… you are spoiling the girl," She said with this look she usually uses when she wants me to see things her way. 'Not this time' I bitterly thought.

"Maybe I am sprawling her, but that does not mean you can shout and put your hands on her" I point out my main issue with her actions.

"I can do what I want for my child, and especially with what she did. She deserves a good beating" Now I'm getting up from the couch, she was sitting on and shouting in my face.

"Not in my house you can't, and she didn't deserve anything but your thanks for helping your people, "I said with a chilly voice and reminded her who the head of this household is.

"You're... My people... My People, " She said now in a whisper.

"Yes, your people... You know, Ista I have been thinking about what Neil said about Louise not wanted to stay here, and I didn't realize that most of our children are going to leave." 'It was a painful wake-up call Neil gave me that night. I can finally see where the girls get their denial from.'

"Louis," Ista said. 'Maybe it's just not me they get the denial from.'I thought as I looked at the expression on her face. It's an expression I could tell mirrored on my face when I stop denying it too. It was an expression of sorrow.

"Ista when at war's end and we sat down to talk about our marriage and the community. I stated that you can be in control of your people and help out your people all you want, but your own family comes first. " I said to remind her of our agreement.

"Louis" She tries to interrupt, but I was not going to let her.

"Let me finish Ista". My voice became harsher. "Luthor tries to hide, but he doesn't like being here

Neil openly shows that he doesn't give a damn what they think of him. And you know everybody finds Louise and Lynda unnerving. Halona is the own one that the community accepts and cares about the community. Louise went out of her way to get enough food for this entire community, and you show that her effort, but for not and probably made her Aw"I said, getting more frustrated with the whole situation.

'I need to calm my mind'. So I took a deep breath and let it out straight into my mind. It only worked a little.

"I think you need to think more about who comes first, and you better not think of laying a hand on one of my children again, "I said, coming to my final decision. And prompted at the end of this argument.

"Louis," Ista said in a small, desperate voice. Knowing what Louis is saying is unfortunately very true.

Turning to leave the room, I stopped and said one last thing to his wife, "And Ista do think they could have got all that food here without me knowing"

Luthor Pov

"Let go of me," Lynda said, struggling in my arms.

"Stop fighting me, "I said. 'I need to ask Dad to put more kidnapping training in the future.'

"But she needs me, "I said, making me wrestle her to the floor.

"No, she doesn't you know that's not your role," I said to remind her of the role we play in this family.

"No, I failed at my role"As she said this she stopped struggling.

"No, you didn't… you shielded her just fine," I said gently while getting off her. I looked around to see where Halona was.

"But," She said, sitting up more calmly now.

Putting my attention back on her, I said, "There are no buts, you did a good job of protecting your younger sibling it was a Mom... No Ista was in the wrong."

"Why did she say those things? She was only trying to help, "She said in a whisper.

"I know... I know, " I said as I started running my hand through her hair.

"I don't think I like my mother anymore" I smothered a laugh as she said that.

"Did you ever truly like her, Lynda?" I unintentionally said out loud.

"What did you mean by that?" She looked up at me, making me stop, one of my hands on her hair.

'You and Louise with all this denial or is it truly obliviousness, I do truly not know... Sorry Lynda, it's not my role to guide you to the answer... But how will you find the answer if your chosen guide does not even aware of it herself?

*Flashback*

"You should prepare yourself, "I told her as a warning.

"Prepare me," She said, giving me a confused look.

"Your arrogance betel me sometimes, "I said, laughing.

"I'm not arrogant," She says while trying to glare at me. "She looks like a cute bat, I thought.

"If you say so quiet child, "I said pending on the head.

"Jerk," she says, making me laugh more.

It's sad how in the future, I will not be able to mess with her hair like this anymore.

*Flashback End*

I snapped out of my thoughts, then looked down at Lynda, who arm. " Let go check on our other female sibling"

Huh! Was the expression she made. 'Too cute, she looks like a confused baby coyote'

'Sometimes, you and she are just too like with your uncaring affections to the other two females in our family,' I thought a little sadly.

Neil Pov (Play how bad can I be, when they start talking)

Following Louise was not all that hard when she was this upset. She and Lynda were very predictable when she is upset. But then again, Lynda probably learns it from her. I became a little worried when she started jumping on the tree to get to the Treehouse. But she was ok.

When she got there she saw there were still alligators around the Treehouse. So she set down on a tree.

I stop a few trees behind her. 'Mmh how should I do this, I thought while giving closer to her. 'I know I thought as I got on the same tree as her.

" How ba a a ad can I be? How bad can I possibly be?

Well, there's a principle of nature

That almost every creature knows

Called survival of the fittest

And check it out, this is how it goes

The animal that eats gotta scratch and fight and claws and bites and punches

And the animal that doesn't

Well the animal that doesn't wind up someone else LU LU LU LU lunch

I'm just saying"

I start to sing one of the many songs Louise came up with while going up to higher branches to be able to be in a higher place than her. Furthermore, I stop singing when I reach my goal.

"How you did it," I said as I looked down on her.

"Is that all you have to say to me?" She said, glaring up at me.

"Look sis, we both know I'm not the sibling you go to for comfort for, "I said personally I smiled in my face "It kind of hurts that I'm not that sibling, "I thought bitterly.

"And what sibling would that be?" she said in a frontal tone.

"Luthor of course," I said, is the most obvious thing in the world.

"Luthor... That's where you are wrong, I go to Halona for comfort," She said with a neutral face.

"There is no need to lie sis you go to Luthor for comfort, like how you go with me to be upfront with." 'Now that little about me lying to you,... I just make sure I'm always there pushing the right buttons for you to confess everything to me.'I thought as I was looking at the face she was making. Looking at it a little longer, it hit me.

"Oh, Ooh, could it be you didn't realize you did that... You know, it makes me kind of feel like a creep to be the only one to analyze everything you do." 'Well being a creep is kind of fun'

I looked at her face some more to see what she's thinking now, and by the looks of it, she's analyzing what I said.

"If you know me so well, then tell me why I seek out Halona," She said, foreign her eyebrows.

"Why, because I have a grin splitting across my face. 'Oh sweet Louise, so much denial of your feelings to our family'

"Guilt," She said as if she didn't understand what I was saying.

"Yes, guilt... You feel guilty because you know out of all of us you, and she, were probably the most distant with" I pointedly said to make sure she doesn't deny it. 'Only reason why you're not that distant mother is that… well, that's probably going to change now.

A flash of Louise's arm and bowed head as Mother tried to hit her when through my mind.

'Damn you woman, I will have to watch out for Louise to give into that submissiveness in the future. And break that out of her. Let's make a mental note to talk to Luthor about this.

"Don't make that face, sis, you know it's true. Besides, it is not truly a bad thing that you are distant from your family. It is something me, Dad, Luthor, and Lynda have come to accept is this something you do."I said, trying to ease her concerts.

"Now enough of this gloomy talk, let's hold your newest confession, dear sister, how did you do it?" "I said to try to get her off of the gloomy talk, but also back on topic.

"What know why"She said 'Why you brat' I thought that she was grinning at me.

"Oh, my dear, Louise, it is easy to guess why you did it because we were going to starve. But it doesn't answer how and why. Don't you stop trying to sidestep the question" I said.

"It was not that hard when you plan for it days ahead. The only truly difficult part was getting it all here" Then she when on how she did it, but not telling who helped her.

"Yes get it all here... It was Luthor wasn't it that helped you. Don't give me that look, it's very obvious he helped you with both of you get in late that night, " I said 'Oh cute Louise you're not the only intelligent person in this family'

"Sister word of advice for the future, the arrogance you hold will be your downfall," I said while covering my hand over my mouth.

"Arrogance downfall," she said I annoyed look on her face.

"Louise, you are arrogant to not think that mother will not know about the extra food, "I said, giving her an example of our arrogance.

"But you do not have to worry, sister… I will be here to always curve that arrogance of her, " I said with an even wider grin under my hand.

"Why do you call me, dear?" she asks. ' Because I'm a possessive person, I thought.

"Well, because you're my cute little sister, of course," I said instead.

"You got more than one younger sister," She said, well to point her finger at me.

"Yes, but you both know that you're my favorite," I said. 'Yes, my favorite toy' I thought.

"Now, dad wants us in our room. Let's be there when he stops arguing with mother," I said, starting to get up to go back home.

Andrei Pov

~Good morning New Orleans, we here at WTP S have troubling news as yesterday 1/5 of food rations had been stolen from the FEMA food supply.

This unfortunate event has caused less food for us.

The man in charge of this operation, Mr. Ben Thomason, had estimated that the amount of food that FEMA will be able to give out, will all be gone by this next Tuesday.

So New Orleans' people try to go get ya'll some supplies before it runs out. ~

I stood there listening to the radio when on how this was going on and how this will affect New Orleans. When I came to the disturbing realization that I didn't care. As long as my family does not starve, I do not care what happens to everybody else. But as I finished that thought, I thought of Louise.

'She will be alright, she has food, and she smarts a lot to figure something out if they start to run out again' I conclude.

My Dat bought me out of my thoughts by putting his hand on my shoulder. Looking at him, I can see how worried he is about the news. The community is not getting lots of food as it is so Dat probably hopes, he was to get some extra food from the government.

Grabbing his hand, I spoke to him, "DAT will you come with me, " I said as I started to leave him back to our home.

As we walk into our home, I could see, just like a DAT lot of people losing hope over the news. Even the people were cursing the people who stole the food.

As I stood in front of the house. I stood there to take a long look over it. Before we stole all the food, Louise asked me to spend all that time away from the community. I spent most of my time not working for the community, I was fixing up the house. I realize that when Louise first told me what we were going to do, I didn't have any place to truly hide the extra food.

After seeing everything still the way I left it. I walked into the house with Dat following behind me. When I shut the door, I asked him to come into our sleeping room.

He was a little confused, but he was still following me. I walked over to the small window we had in the room and closed the curtains that I had put up for privacy. Then we walked over there to where we held our safe.

It was not a real safe, it was just three floorboards that we could pop up anytime where the bed usually was. I was truly happy to find out it was enough room in there to whole six different boxes.

It surprises me a little when Louise lets me take that many. It was hard to sneak all the boxes in with anybody noticing.

"Andrei, where did you get all this food?" I can hear my dad's voice said. I did not turn my back to see him. Not only that, but I did not want to know if he was angry or not for being the one who stole from the government.

But I did want to explain myself."DAT just knows I will always make sure our family is fed."

"Andrei," he said, I was more focused on his footsteps.

I did not know what he was going to do, so I kept speaking. "DAT I think we should start fixing our home"

"Andrei" He interrupted me by calling my name, then I felt his arms wrapping around me.

As he hugs me from behind, I can feel a dampness on my back. It will be tears. To try to stop him from crying out the back, I tried to distract him. "It will be a lot of work for just the two of us."

But Dat had other plans, plans. The next thing he said, astonished me, but made me happy to know he was not angry. " Andrei, thank you so hard for our family."

Him saying that broke something I did not know, I was holding back my tears. " No, don't thank me… I would have done this in the first place if it was not for her"

In the future, I will come to three realizations. Once, I was very stressed about the whole idea. Two, that I wanted to truly show my family that we could trust outsiders again. And three, the path that I was walking on was going to twist me into something my family will not recognize anymore.

"Her" Dat said.

"Yes, her, my friend… I think there will come a time you can meet her." I told him as I finally turned around to look at him.

"Are you sure, what about your Daj?" He said when his hands were on my shoulders to see if I was serious about my decision?

"She will understand, "I told him what full confidence that she will.

"If you're sure," He said, but I can still sense the doubt it.

"I'm sure," I said again to him to show him, there's nothing he needed to doubt it.

Halona Pov

"What she did was wrong." Were the words I spoke as soon as I heard someone else walking into my room.

"You can't be serious, Halona" Spoke in the voice of Luthor. The chilly is coming off his voice, usually, sunlit voice, surprised me so much I turned around. I have never heard of him speaking to me like that, so it comes as a great surprise.

I was unsure what to say at first, but then I thought about what he had just asked, and I knew my answer. "I'm 100% sure," I told him with my head tilted up high.

"Do you agree with her trying to hit her?" he asked me as you stride up to me.

"Yes, she needs to learn things have consequences, "I told him, not to back down after he towers over me.

As he did that, I had a brief wondering where my protective brother went. Because the man standing in front of me, surely was not him.

"Consequences you're right, she needs to learn that, but not in this way," He told me as he stopped towering over me and started to step backward.

But then he did something he never did to me. Before me, he turned his back on me.

Luthor has never turned his back on me. He has never turned his back on any of our family members. He only does that to community members. Furthermore, he only does that when he's convinced them from his mind. It's his way of showing them that they are not worth his time.

He's telling me I am not worth his time anymore.

"Luthor" I shouted desperately.

In the future when our family is broken. I will wonder was an argument like this worth it with the little time we had together.

With his back still face to me, he told me one thing. "They are our younger siblings Halona... Who we are supposed to protect and set an example for, and it disgusts me that you don't see it that way."

Finally, he turned to look at me, and he glared at me and told me. " Don't think about coming near our younger siblings for a while, if you're going to keep thinking like that."

As he left the room, I finally noticed Lynda was with him.

XVI (Monday the 23rd of August 1957. New Orleans, United States of America)

After the fight with mom, I spent most of my time by myself. Today I decided to go see Andrei. Get away from the community was not that hard since I've been avoiding people for the past few days. Even getting to New Orleans, but not all that hard, all I have to do is ride my bike.

I was surprised that it was still working after the storm. It would have taken me a lot much longer to get to New Orleans if I didn't have it.

Getting to Andrei's neighborhood was disheartening because how are they going around that there's going to be starvation soon?

Riding my bike through his neighborhood, I went straight to his house. I was a little surprised to see it standing. I mean, their roof looked a little run down and the window was boarded up. But they have a functioning door.

But the roof looks like it's not going to be a problem for so much longer with them on top of it fixing it.

"Andrei" I shout at him. He stopped what he was doing to look at me, and then he started moving towards the back of his house. It looked like he was getting off the roof, so I assume they might have a ladder back there. I just sat on my bike waiting for him.

Come around his house, he started walking towards me.

"So what have you been doing" I asked him as he got near me.

"Nothing much, come, let's go talk somewhere else, "He said as he started leaving me away from his neighborhood.

As we couldn't help but look at the surrounding people. And listen to what they were saying. They were saying the same thing everybody else was saying, and it made me feel bad.

"Hey… Do you think what we did was right?" I asked him as soon as we got out of the neighborhood.

"No," He said, to give me a certain look. And we stood there looking at each other for a good few minutes. I don't know why, but I did not break the silence between us.

"What we did was wrong, but it was worth it… Louise." But seeing that that did not satisfy me, he continued.

His face hardened, and then he spoke to me. " My family would most likely have died if it was not for what we have done. And because of that, I would do it again. " He said without any regrets. I wish I could have thought like him. I wish… I don't know what I wish.

"Oh," I said, just to give a response.

"What brought this on?" He said

And the first thought I came into my head was raised hand.

"Nothing, just… ha-ha… something my mom and sister said, "I said not so convincingly.

Not buying my crap, he responded with. " Mmm and what was that"

Finally giving up on my false nonchalant, I told him. " That I was stupid for not thinking"

After I told him, he gave me this look that told me he was thinking of some very creative things about my mother and sister.

"Well, I think you are pretty smart," He said as if it was a fact.

"Thank you, Andrei" automatically responded the same way I respond to anybody who finds out I have skipped a grade.

But he cut me off and said something that made me cry.

"And even if you weren't so brilliant I still went along with your plans because I trust you. I trust you with my family, Louise. I trust you to have my back. Furthermore, I trust you to make the right decisions for us, so forget what they said cuz you did the right thing… at least for us." He said, and at that moment it felt like I was meeting him all over again.

He was that boy I met at the flea market, that I put so much trust to be a good friend, not to be an awesome friend for no true reason.

At that moment I got off my bike and hugged them.

"Thank Andrei… thank you for your trust". I said, to bury my face into his shoulder. Trying to muffle my cries.

"Not a problem," He said, hugging me back tightly.

Andrei Pov

"And was that her?" My Dat asked as soon as I got back on top of the roof.

"Yeah, that was her, "I said, answering him.

But thinking back to her cries on my shoulder and the reason I added on. "DAT thanks, "I said, trying to tell him how much I was thankful, that he understand.

That stopped him from hammering in the nail he was on. "Why are you thanking me for?" he said, looking up at me.

I thought for a moment about how I should answer him, but colluded I should just tell him the truth. "Louise, Mom was not happy with what we had done, so thank you for not being mad at me."

It seems like he didn't expect that answer. "Mm, tell me… has she done anything like what you two did before the storm?" he said after a while.

"No," I said instantly. Louise was just not that type of person to do something like this, that would cause problems for other people.

"Mm And next time she comes tell her to bring her mom to come to meet me." My Dat said.

My dad rarely asked me for anything, so my response was "Ok"

"Now let's finish what we were doing." He said going back to hammering the nail he was on.

Louis Pov

"You didn't have permission to leave, "I told her as soon as I saw her coming closer to the house.

"Yeah, I didn't," She said with a blank expression on her face. But that's the expression she usually puts on when she doesn't want to get in trouble when she knows she did something wrong.

"Argh... Louise, what am I going to do with you? " I said running my hand through my hair.

"I don't know.. pff.. What are you" she's trying to sound nonchalant, but I could tell it was a serious question.

'Oh, Ista what have you done, I thought with pangs of disheartened.

"Louise, sometimes the people we love do things we don't mean… sometimes the moment just gets ahead of us," I said, trying to get her to understand her mother's action.

"I understand that she was just angry… she was not wrong," she said with great maturity.

"No, she was not, but she was wrong to try to hit you. "I try to make sure she understands what her mother did was not right. But she didn't seem convinced of what I said.

"Louise out of all my children you are very brilliant, so don't take what your mother said too seriously… all right," I said, trying to get her to understand what her mother said was wrong too.

"All right," she said, cracking a small smile.

"Now that's not all I wanted to talk to you, "I said, trying to break the glum mood.

Picking up what I was trying to do, she said, "Wow, go ahead and kill the moment"

"Oh, we were having a moment, "I said, teasing her.

"Yes, of course we were," she said, sticking her tongue at me.

"Well," I say with a small bow," I have believed I have killed it"

"Now, let me be serious… Louise the way you go about doing things, is unsafe for this family, but we do help the family, but they are unsafe." I said emphasizing the safety. Her response to that was making a face.

"Don't give me that look. You know as well that is unsafe. " Not trying to be too harsh on her, I pointed my finger in her face just to be funny. Getting that, she cracked a smile.

"Now I will give you a warning about doing anything like this in the future. You hear my young lady" I told her completely seriously.

"Yes, Dad, " I got the feeling I was lied to.

I put that troubling thought of something to think about later. "And before I forget, don't think I forgot about you going against the stages"

"Huh" With that noise, I knew she thought I forgot about it.

"Oh, you thought you got off that easy, didn't you? This deserves a lecture, young lady."

"Louise, the stage is there for a reason," I said, beginning my lecture.

She cut me off by saying. " I know that, but I just needed… I just needed to get away, I wanted to talk to somebody that's not part of the family or the community"

'Was it that boy she was asking about? ' I thought, but I said"That friend you were asking about"

"Yes, he," she said to confirm my thoughts.

"Him, " I said.

"Gak it's not like that," she said, raising her arms as if to block out the idea of being in a relationship with that boy.

"You were going through all this effort to meet this boy. I thought it'd be that type of effort, and if it wasn't for the fact you're six, I wouldn't believe you, "I said. I find her reaction a little funny.

"Daaad" she yelled.

"Come on, I can't tease my little girl," I said to find her reaction to you funnier.

"I'm not little," she says with a pout.

"Oh, the moment you stop being little will be the moment you can read my chin," I said, teasing her a bit more.

"I don't think for a second that you have distracted me, and you're going to get a lecture," I said abruptly.

"Uh-uh," she said.

"You got to respect our way of life. This life is what keeps you safe" I told her with all seriousness.

"Yes, it is"She said we're a bit of contempt.

"Don't give me that response before I do give you a punishment" I sternly said.

"No, as I was saying, this life keeps you safe, Louise. It keeps you safe from the cruelty of this world. It doesn't let the hurt of the world get to us. The stages are there to warn us of the cruelty of the world and if it has reached us or not" I told her a little sadly. 'I wonder when this place will become a cage.' I thought remotely.

"You know you can't protect us from the cruelty of the world forever, dad," she said, giving her opinion.

"Louise, "I said, not all that surprised about her response.

But she cut me off, "I'm just saying look what I have already done, I cause cruelty to all the other people… and I don't feel bad about it… Does that make me a monster"She looked lost, and she said the last part.

She looks very troubled by the thought of being a monster. It's like she expects me to say yes, that she is a monster.

"Louise... You do know I fought in the world war before, before, right? " I said calmly.

"Mm-hmm" She responded.

"Do you think of me as a monster?" I asked.

"No," she asked you quickly.

"Well, lots of people will think of me like a monster just because I fought in that war," I said trying to get her to understand.

"But you found that war because you didn't have a choice, " she denied what I was saying.

"I may not have a choice, but I did survive it and surviving that war I mean I have to do monstrous things" I counter.

"What I'm trying to say is that everybody does things for the sake of survival so no, You're Not A Monster, You're A Survivor," I said.

My words had finally gotten through her because she gave me a wobbly smile and hugged me.

"Thanks, Dad," she said after she'd not be hugging me. Turning her back, she started to walk away from me. But then she stopped and turned around to look at me.

"Dad," she said.

"Yeah, " I acknowledged

"Can we make more time for training?" she asked me.

"Why, "I asked if usually, but a little worried that it was because of Ista.

"Just a feeling I will need it," She said very unconventionally.

But not wanting to find a reason, I told her, "Okay.. Let's go see what your siblings are doing now you're getting some time in now"

Lynda Pov

I ran away from Louis and Louise, because they did not know that I was eavesdropping.

When I was far enough away, I stopped by a tree and leaned on it with my head down… But then I heard the approaching footsteps.

"What do you want?" I asked whoever was coming closer to me, not looking up.

"Just wanted to spend time with you, "the voice of Luthor said.

"Luthor is there something wrong with me?" I asked him.

"What?" He says in surprise.

"Is there something"

He cut me off." I know what you said. Rah… Lynda, nothing wrong with you. Why would you ask something like?

"It just… Dad was talking to Louise… And I wonder why I am so different from Louise… Louise... Sometimes I wonder what I would do when Louise finish leave me, " I said expressing my feelings.

"Louise won't leave" He lied.

"Don't lie… we all can see it… one day she will leave us and go to a place that none of us can Reese." I disputed.

"Sometimes I find it funny... Hurrah... That is not and if she leaves, when will she leave" I said with a bit of Murphy.

"Lynda," he said gently.

"Luthor I am scary... That day will be given closer than I would like. " I felt like I was confessing a dirty secret. I felt weak at that moment. Likewise, I clutched my tier, started to shake.

"Because Luthor I'm not ready for it" the more I said, the more I shake. I just felt so tired.

"Lynda, "Luther said, grabbing my arms to stop me.

"I'm not ready I'm not ready I'm not ready," I said, finally looking up at him.

"Lynda, I'll make a promise to you that if she leaves you for whatever reason, I will… I will…" He sounded desperate.

"Lynda you'll be ready when she leaves I'll make sure of that and if you're not, I'm going to help you make sure you are," he said as his grip tightened on me.

'I see where, why she goes to him for comfort. He makes me feel warm like the daylight. She kept staring at him.

"Thanks, Luthor, "I said helplessly.

"Don't thank me, you're my baby sis, this is what I'm supposed to be doing? "He said as he loses his grip on me.

"Yellow," I said as I looked into his eyes.

"What?" He said with a confused expression.

"Nothing, "I said a little too quickly.

"Hey, " I heard Louise yell not too far away.

"Is everything all right?" She said that as she got closer.

"Yeah," I said, not realizing the precision the two of us are in.

"Mmmm all right," She said, not believing me for a second.

"Why did you come over here in the first place?" I asked, trying to distract her.

"Oh well, dad said we can do some training now if you guys are not busy," she said with what expression that said going to the bush, but she was not distracted.

"No, we're not," Luther said with a smile.

She looked at both of us very quickly than not in her head, then said, "Well, I will go get her Halona to see you in the training area."

'Oh God this family is such a train wreck' I thought exacerbated. As I look down at my family.

'But I can understand her feelings because I'm getting the same feeling, I thought as I turned my gaze to Lynda.

"She's going to leave us and I don't think I can follow her to where she's going, I thought as I turned my gaze to Louise.

"Sweet Louise, how did you have to make life so hard for us?" I said in a whisper. 'Well, it's time to make my entrance',' I thought as I hopped off the tree for brunch.

"Well, she didn't believe that, "I told my other two siblings as I landed on the ground.

"Were you up there this whole" Lynda asked angrily. I found her expression funny, and I looked at Luthor and noticed that he was not all that surprised.

"Yep, "I said, just too angry at her.

"What were you doing?" She said with a lot more emotion than she usually shows on her face.

"Oh, you know, just a little drawing of what else I'll be doing," I said as I raised my sketchbook.

"What else?" Luthor asks suspiciously with an eyebrow.

"Don't give me that look, big bro. I was here first. You two are the ones who have the conversation without seeing if there is anybody else around." I mocked them as I pointed at them.

But suddenly Lynda grabbed my arm and said. " Don't tell her"She said desperately

I stared at her for a moment, and she fidgets. I smiled at her and said, "I won't. This conversation will be just between the three of us, little sister" I said as I started patting her head.

As I am sitting down on the porch watching Halona go against Luthor. I couldn't help but think about what dad had asked of me. I realize that I'm going to do something like we did again.

"All right, Luthor you win now get off her" Dad said, snapping me out of my thoughts.

Luther got off her and Dad grabbed his shoulder and told him, "Luthor don't be rough with your sister"

"Sorry... Dad" He said, not looking sorry at all.

Not looking please dad said"Go for a run and don't stop until I said so"

After watching Luthor run for a bit, he suddenly shouted, "Neil Lynda Louise you three up"

"All right Lynda, the usual, "I told her was a small smile on my face.

"All right," she told me as we got in position to face Neil.

"Start," Dad said as he gave the signal to start.
