Akko, Lotte and Sucy, were trying their best to find a way out of being caught, after curiosity was a determining factor for them to end up in a place where they shouldn't be, due to Kagari trying her best to find Shiny Chariot's whereabouts.
It was 2:37pm on that sunny Saturday afternoon, and the trio of friends were kind of trapped, without the option of using the smoke bombs that Atsuko tried to make by hand, which the short haired woman ended up getting one and that made her set it off but the smoke that was generated was very little to the point that she was laughing at the whole situation while the trio remained frozen with fear.
" Smoke bombs, huh? I used to do a lot of those when I was your age too girl, did you ever stop to use a bigger amount of gunpowder? The path is already made here hahaha " said the woman in a relaxed way.
" Croix! You've ruined our whole pose like this, how are we now going to teach these invaders a lesson? " The other woman with long blue hair answered the one named Croix.
" We didn't mean to come to cause anything wrong, that was just... " Akko tries to explain herself, but she is still a bit terrified of the whole situation, only then the two adult women look at each other half laughing at the whole situation and turning the whole heavy atmosphere into a relaxed one.
At this the trio was still trying to calm the spirits, even though it gave a good relief, still with the other girls who were wearing purple t-shirts, with a sign written "Luna Nova Camp" and the symbol of the place that was a circle with three points, Akko was lowering her arms and trying to be less tense, seeing the two adult girls getting together one in front of the other hugging each other, then smiling to the three girls.
" No need to be tense, but you're really trespassing our property... " The girls were a little more tense when the blue haired woman said this last thing with a more serious tone, but then she waved her arm and laughed " Kidding hahahaha, welcome to the Luna Nova Summer Camp and Luna Nova Orphanage, if you want to take a look you can walk around, feel at home, my name is Ursula and this is my partner and girlfriend Croix, we two are the owners of this place, what brought you here with so much curiosity? " Said Ursula to the girls that ended up breathing relieved and that this time Akko could feel safer.
" So you mean you know about Shiny Chariot's disappearance? I heard that this was the orphanage where she used to stay and they said that this place was abandoned when she disappeared, I was coming here with my friends trying to find clues, since there are people here you must already know about Chariot " When Akko finishes speaking a huge silence takes over, even the expression of the people around gets a little neutral, Ursula gives two coughs and even laughs a little, while Croix had even shown a little tension.
" Ah Shiny Chariot hahaha, I was her colleague here, we ourselves felt a lot with her disappearance too, she was a great person without a doubt, but about the orphanage, we had to close the activities for adoptions all these years to be able to take care of the children that were here, mainly when the old owner died and passed the command of the orphanage to us two, it was really a tragedy... " Ursula answered Akko in the greatest tranquility passing her hand behind her head while Kagari was becoming enchanted with what the blue haired woman was saying and soon Croix completed her speech passing her hand on her shoulder.
" We had turned 18 when this responsibility had been passed on to us, Mrs Holbrooke wanted someone trustworthy to run the orphanage and she had no relatives, so it was left to us, but here we are now, with this summer camp where you can have all the fun you want, I imagine that this summer you will want to do something different " Croix said, making the moment more relaxed.
" You mean we made all this effort to go to the orphanage where I was going to be transferred? Is this serious Akko? Now that I remembered the name Luna Nova, how stupid I am... Well, anyway, I already know this place, before I regretted being transferred here," said Sucy.
" I just thought that here we would have the whereabouts of Shiny Chariot, since she has been missing for 10 years and practically lived here " Akko said and with that Ursula and Croix managed to make the other girls surrounding disperse when they said that it was better that they did not stay so curious.
" Well, since we are here with a future resident of ours, besides two other friends of hers, let's explore, if you want you can also ask to transfer here, we always accept new people with open arms " Ursula said with open arms.
" Only if you kill their parents, then they might have a reason to come here " said Sucy pointing to Akko and Lotte, which makes even Croix hold back a little laughter, but the two friends of Manbavaran ended up getting a little angry with the way her friend said.
" Sucy! " And with that the pink haired girl just shrugged and continued walking around the place, where they could see more of the surroundings of the summer camp and also the orphanage, noticing that they also had some familiar faces there, of some girls that used to study at the same school as the three of them.
The trio follows Croix and Ursula, who show them a bit of Luna Nova's buildings, and the two notice that the part where the entrance was was really full of vegetation and more abandoned when approached from that side, besides noticing the huge skateboarding track that is in the space between the main building that is the biggest and the smaller building that was where the trio tried to hide, Kagari was even surprised to see all that.
" Chariot would be proud to see that today the orphanage where she grew up has such a skateboarding track, it was one of her biggest dreams " Croix said pointing to the skateboarding track.
" And what would it look like... " Complete Ursula.
" Here you can have a lot of fun, we set up this skateboarding track to relax and have an incentive to the sport from someone who was once so great to grow up here... Anyway let's get going, it's not only the skateboarding track that we have around here, our summer camp has the most varied activities " Croix said as he told the girls about the skateboarding track, which was leaving Akko with a gleam in her eyes wanting very much to join the girls to skateboard in the park.
They continued walking around the camp, Ursula and Croix were showing some more places of the surroundings, as the presence of a pool, where they had some girls swimming there, and in these pools had all kinds of depth and waterslides around, besides a basic playground very typical of a normal park, where they had younger children running around, some courts that in one of them had girls playing football and other was empty, but had basketball hoops, both with a synthetic grass. Besides the huge open space with some trees and another where the grass was very high and contained the statue of a woman with open arms, which was covered with vegetation which soon Akko makes a point of knowing what that place was.
" And there? What is it? There is a strange statue and it looks a bit abandoned, when we tried to jump to enter from the front it looked a bit abandoned " said the Japanese woman pointing to the place.
" That's the sanctuary, it's a part that we kind of recommend not to enter, the grass is kind of tall, there are a lot of insects, and it's pretty abandoned, it's always been like that, ever since I entered the orphanage, Holbrooke always told us not to go in there, it's dangerous," Ursula said while Akko kept rubbing her hand on her chin, getting even more curious.
" They say that some children have already died going there, but that could just be a legend, because we have already been to that side and it is just a lot of tall grass and old things, if you want we can go, but the thought of having to remove ticks from our clothes makes me afraid " said Croix trying to convince the girls not to go there.
" Ah let's go to other places from here, I am getting interested, I think I will ask my parents to spend the summer here " Lotte said.
" Oh yes, that's right, I'd like that too, but if it's a summer camp like this it must be very expensive, since one of my mothers is a bit of a cheapskate " said the Japanese girl, half"heartedly.
" Ah about the prices, if you want we can manage in a friendly way, it is not too expensive, since you would be practically one of the first people to enter the Luna Nova Summer Camp, so we can make a nice discount, now let's go, I will show you where you will eat and also your rooms come with me " Ursula signals the girls to continue this way in Luna Nova.
Finishing the tour of Luna Nova, inside, showing the cafeteria that had a huge open space, besides one of the caretakers passing by with a broom in the corridors, which was giving some stares at Akko that was kind of feeling a little uncomfortable of the situation.
Following further they arrived at the corridor of the rooms and with one of the keys in hand, the two girls opened the door of one of the rooms where they could see inside a bed and a bunk bed, besides a door that led to the bathroom, a space that was comfortable enough, where Kagari had a smile on her face.
" This here is a room left over, we kind of organize it by trios, which are determined by colours, you would be perfect to be the red team, there's still no extra stuff, just that you can bring from home, basically you stay here during the week and go back to your homes at the weekend, depending on the package you can stay from a week up to three months, what goes is the agreement you made with your parents and that's it, welcome to Luna Nova," Ursula said, which was making Akko even more excited to the point that she had to be held by Sucy to not get so jumpy.
" Well anyway I'll end up staying here until I'm an adult anyway, so I can say it's my home," Manbavaran shrugged.
" Really, now let's go, if you want to leave your file ready, it can already make a good job easier " Croix said.
" Oh and Akko, in case your mothers are a coward we can try to talk to them, we can go with you to your house if you want " Ursula barely completed her sentence, it was already very noticeable the gleam in her eyes and the excitement of Kagari who really wanted to stay in the camp.
It was the news that cheered up the Japanese girl even more, who was hardly waiting to have her mother's permission to stay at the summer camp. The trio arrived at the board of directors' room, where Croix and Ursula passed a spreadsheet where they filled in a form with their basic data. After they finish filling everything up, the papers are given back, at this time Ursula had left, and Croix was the one who stayed there.
" Great, if everything goes well you guys are going to be the red trio, that's the one Chariot used to be when she lived around here, we haven't had reds since her... You really came here for something great " Croix said, and soon noises of the doorknob being opened could be heard, it was Ursula, with a skateboard in her hand.
" Well, since you were so brave to come here and all, I will present each one of you with something, maybe you can cheer up and in case you can't stay here, you can have these souvenirs " Ursula gives each one a different present.
Akko got a skateboard, which was a little worn, but the shape designs underneath were noticeable to be typical Chariot art, Sucy also got a Skateboard, as did Lotte, three that appeared to be from the retired skater, which was leaving Kagari with an even bigger glow on her face.
" Because they are the first red ones since Chariot, we will present you with skateboards that used to belong to our missing colleague " Ursula said, which was making Kagari more delighted to the point of hugging the skateboard's shape quite tightly.
" We will appear at each one's house around five o'clock in the afternoon, starting at Atsuko's house, then we will go to Lotte's and finally we will finalise the details of Sucy's transfer, see you later, you can go back home " Croix said and with that the girls nodded.
The trio was leaving the Luna Nova building, then they left through another gate that opened in a secret way, being part of the wall that was opening, leaving Atsuko amazed with such engineering, then they were leaving the place, a bit full of doubts, they even talked among themselves about this mysterious summer camp, even more because the main gate wouldn't open. They went back each one to their home and explained to the responsible where they had gone, what they had done, even in a kind of a fake way, as it was Sucy's case.

The bell of the Kagari's house rings, and Akko gets up anxiously to see Croix and Ursula with a smile on their faces, even going so far as to show the mothers who were sitting watching television that it was true that the two girls were coming from the summer camp.
" Oh look at that, Akko was telling the truth. " Morgana stood up until she ended up looking at the faces of the two, making her look a little unresponsive.
" We came here to just try and see if Atsuko could stay at our summer camp, she can come back in the summer and I can assure you the price is very affordable, it's 50 pounds a week, and we do the one month package at 175 and the summer package for 300 pounds, I guarantee she will love it here " Ursula said to Akko's mothers, for which they keep trying to convince themselves of that price.
" The price is a bit steep, but just doing the math here is really quite a discount for the whole package, anyway, I have to see if Morg agrees too... So love, what do you think about our Akko staying at this holiday camp? " Saori asked Morgana, who remained with her hand on her chin, very thoughtful about the whole situation.
" So... Would you two and Saori mind talking more alone, we need to come to a conclusion about this package," Morgana said in a more serious tone, for which Saori made sure to agree, as well as Croix and Ursula going where one of Akko's mothers wanted them to go to talk, somehow to resolve the summer camp situation.
As they entered the room to talk, Akko was sneaking to try to listen, staying close to the door, but no matter how hard she tried, the girl even put her ear to the door to try to hear what they were talking about, but nothing, as if there was something blocking the conversation, all Atsuko could hear was a silence coming from there.
The conversation wasn't as short as Kagari thought it would be, she kept getting closer, trying anyway to hear what they were talking about, but nothing from them to say anything, or at least what the Japanese thought it was. After twenty minutes, the sounds of knobs were being heard and with that the girl quickly turned away from the knob to pretend that nothing had happened. She stared excitedly in front of the door that opened,
" Girl were you snooping on us? " Saori asked.
" She must have been so anxious that she went to the door just to hear the news," said Morgana, laughing at her daughter who remained with a twinkle in her eyes.
" Anyway we have good news Akko, mums will let you spend the summer at the Luna Nova Summer Camp, but don't forget to visit us on the weekend, we will miss you, we even got some clothes for you " Saori said and Atsuko jumped with happiness jumping on her mothers arm, giving a tight hug to both of them that were a little breathless, but they didn't stop stroking their daughter, who was all fulfilled.
" Well, we're off, see you on Monday Atsuko, we'll be looking forward to your presence " Ursula said to Akko who was just nodding her head excitedly, watching her and her wife leave the Kagari house.
" You two are the best mothers in the world! I love you, you're incredible people, I love, love, love so much, you made my dream come true, now I'll be able to find out more about Chariot's whereabouts that place hides so much " Akko said all determined while the mothers kept rubbing the back of their heads as if it were the most normal thing in the world.
" Now let's go and get your bags ready, we've made a package for the whole summer, so enjoy it, because your holidays will be over there," Morgana said, running her hand over Akko's head, who was getting a bigger and bigger gleam in her eyes.
And so it was confirming Atsuko's presence at the Luna Nova summer camp, not only her, but also Ursula and Croix stopped by Lotte's house also managing to sign a package for the whole summer, just as they already closed Sucy's transfer to another orphanage, in which the Manbavaran already took all her things and left the same day to her new home. The mysterious building where Akko wanted to investigate so much was actually a summer camp and also an orphanage, quite mysterious.
