The weekend had passed, Akko was extremely anxious to finally be able to go to the Luna Nova summer camp, so much so that it was what she kept thinking about for all those two days, her focus was on nothing else but just getting ready for Monday, With her bags ready she was just giving the last touches, besides getting ready for the van to pick her up.
Atsuko put on the camp t-shirt, it was a purple one with the words "Luna Nova Camp" with a font very similar to Times New Roman, besides the symbol of the place, a pair of short jeans, cloth bracelets, a pair of red air Jordans and as usual she let her hair tied with a partial back ponytail and the fringes falling on her forehead.
Next she was preparing the breakfast, since the girl's mothers were still sleeping, the girl wanted to leave a surprise for the mothers before leaving, starting to prepare some pancakes, eggs, sausage, beans and fries a typical British breakfast, besides leaving the table tidy, everything so that the day would be the most perfect possible.

A horn can be heard, it was the van from the summer camp, anxious Akko jumps for joy picking up her bags, besides receiving a kiss and a hug from both mothers that accompany the girl to the exit of the house.
Having the proper care, Kagari goes running to the van where Ursula was there, who opened the sliding door for Akko to enter, while Croix was driving, which soon she also noticed the presence of Lotte, who already gave a greeting, sitting next to Yanson, somewhat anxious to go to the camp.
" I am so excited, I have been waiting all weekend for this, I can't wait to see what it will be like to spend the day in Luna Nova! " said Akko excitedly to Lotte, who only rubbed the back of her head.
" I'm pretty anxious too, I just didn't imagine that you would stay this long, since we went there the first time, you haven't got tired of talking about how much you wanted to come here, how much you were looking forward to Monday," Yanson answers Kagari, who only remained with a glint in her eyes.
The van is leaving by the way, which strangely has the windows darkened in the back, giving little to see the track, but being possible to feel and notice as the way was passing where they were going, the asphalt road was suddenly becoming a dirt track, being possible to notice by the van giving some beautiful shakes on the way, besides the constant sound of the grass touching the vehicle, that in a moment of this ended up stopping, then it was following the way.
Akko was so excited that she barely looked in the window to see if there was anything, she was just telling Lotte what she was going to do at the camp, while Yanson was just listening to her friend. The
way goes on and on, until the camp gate opens, and the van stops near the entrance of the main building, Ursula opens the sliding door for the girls and with that Akko jumps out in the biggest animation of the world, raising her arms and looking at the surroundings.
" I have arrived! " shouted Akko excitedly.
" Welcome to the Luna Nova holiday camp, I hope you feel well at ease, enjoy your stay here " Ursula said as Akko went shaking her head, picking up her bag.
Lotte and Akko, are heading to their room, together with Ursula and Croix who make the biggest point of accompanying the girls, when they arrive there the two women leave keys for the girls to enter whenever they want in their room, besides also asking them to choose some red cloth of some size, Kagari took one that she tied on her leg, Yanson preferred to tie it on her waist, they enter the room and notice that Sucy was still sleeping in the deepest sleep, what already leaves Kagari with some ideas.
" Well now we will let you feel at ease around here, if there is anything you need just call me and also Croix " Ursula said to the two who nodded and then she left the girls alone.
" So Lotte, are you thinking the same thing I am thinking? " Akko said with a mischievous expression.
" You're not going to... " Lotte would try to give Atsuko some advice, but she just doesn't give a shit, she goes over to Sucy, already starting to poke at the Manbavaran.
Kagari tries to provoke in another way by taking her arms and trying to shake them, at least that's what the girl was going to try, but nothing worked since she had her attempt interrupted by Sucy who held her friend's arms.
" If you shake me now I'll make your night's sleep tonight a living hell " Just with a threat the Japanese woman lets go of Sucy who starts to get up yawning.
" So girls, shall we? Shall we go out and see Luna Nova? I'm so excited to see what's here, skateboarding, going to the pool, running around, playing with the girls, meeting new people... " Lotte and Sucy are simply focusing on doing other things, Yanson lies down on the top bunk bed and starts reading a book, Sucy is still sitting on the bed.
" I'm not going now, I want to read some Night Fall, later we can do something together " Lotte answers Akko.
" Don't even try with me Akko, this one is up to you, I was just woken up by you, I will only think about going out when I eat, get ready, then maybe we can do something together " Sucy also complements, leaving Kagari a little upset, but soon the girl takes the skateboard from her bag and fills her chest.
" If so, you stay there, because I'm going to enjoy the place, I don't know why you came here, one came just to sleep and the other to do something she does all the time at home " The girls just give a brief glance to the Japanese girl, but simply don't give a damn, leaving the brown haired girl a little upset.
This way she just leaves the room with the skateboard in hand, walking through the hallways, already waving to the other girls that were waving back, even having a little discussion with her friends, she still didn't lose the excitement, just thinking about skateboarding for the first time, even more the one that was a gift from Ursula.
When she arrived at the skateboarding track she was delighted, she observed some girls going down ramps, others passing with the shape on the rails, jumping stairs, doing maneuvers, what was enchanting the girl even more.
" This is just like Tony Hawk's, how incredible " Said the Japanese girl alone, while looking at the girls performing maneuvers from afar " Come on Atsuko, just talk to them and you'll soon learn " Akko takes a deep breath and starts walking where there was a group sitting near one of the ramps, one of them was Amanda O'Neill.
A little embarrassed and seeing the other girls, especially one who was more of a novice, who was simply still showing up, she noticed that this group was already giggling at this one who had black hair and reddish locks, soon Akko went to make a point of helping her up.
" Are you all right? " Akko asks the girl who gets up half laughing.
" Ah hahaha, it's just that I'm still learning, I tried to invent a manoeuvre and I fell down badly " said the girl.
" And these girls are so cruel, I saw that it was a bad fall, just imagine with me that I barely know how to skateboard, now I am even ashamed to try " Akko is trying to get along with the girl noticing that she has a brown ribbon tied on her arm.
" You know how it is, these girls are the best on this track, if you want a tip, don't try to ask them to teach you, they are a little bit boring, if you want I can help you to learn the basics, I may be a little bad, but I can teach you " And with that Kagari is even happier to hear what the girl said to her.
" How wonderful! I will love it, I am Atsuko Kagari, but you can call me Akko, I came here today, I was wanting to do something fun and I really wanted to learn how to skateboard " The Japanese girl introduces herself to this girl who gets a smile on her face.
" Ah nice to meet you Akko, I arrived here about 3 months ago, I was transferred here, my name is Marianne Leclerc, but you can just call me Mari, by the way I love the design of your shape, it looks like the ones from Shiny Chariot " said Marianne looking at Kagari's skateboard.
" Oh that's because Mrs Ursula ended up giving it to me, she said it was from Chariot, I'm so happy that I have a piece from someone I admire so much," said Akko holding the skate shape in amazement.
" This is too cool, that's cool, I wish I had a present like this. I'm French like Chariot, I feel honored, I love her moves, they are my inspiration. Ah and my shape I bought a few days ago, when I went out for the weekend, now come on, I'll teach you the basics of skateboarding, are you ready " Leclerc says to Kagari that agrees with her head ready to start trying to skate.
The dark haired girl started teaching the Japanese girl the basics of skateboarding, how to try to balance, including even holding Kagari a little at the beginning so she could get balance and notion of how to stay on top, being notable that the brown girl was getting a little shaky, giving a few giggles to both of them that were already starting to get along very well.
The other girls of the group were watching the duo, waiting for them to take a tumble, but until then it hadn't happened yet since Akko was still having her hands held by Marianne, until in a moment Kagari felt very confident.
" I think I can do it now " Said Atsuko to Marianne who starts to let go of the Japanese girl, but when it happens she still can't get her foot out to make a boost and start paddling the skateboard.
" I think you need a little push " Brown simply replies by raising her thumbs and with that Leclerc nudges Kagari near a half"low ramp.
On this descent, Akko feels the speed, getting a chill in the belly, going forward to a mini ramp, which she comes close to, but can not move her body next to the ramp and with that the skateboard splashes back and Atsuko ends up falling sliding in front of the ramp, where she almost hit her face.
" Akko! You are alright! " Marianne shouts as Akko gets up and passes her hands over her knees, feeling a little pain.
" I think I need to learn how to stop the skateboard, or make it move forward hahaha, ouch, that hurt " said the Japanese girl all relaxed, while in the background echoed laughter from the group where was Amanda O'Neill.
Without giving up and without fear Akko is starting to learn how to paddle, with a lot of the teachings of Marianne who is passing the basics of the positions, discovering that the Japanese was in goofy stance, as well as the French. She was little by little learning how to keep the balance on the skateboard, and soon came the first paddling, still light, but that already showed the confidence of Kagari.
" And another thing, to brake you use your foot, just let it touch the ground and the skateboard will brake," said Marianne, and with that Akko became more confident.
" Ah I think I understand, I will now try to increase the speed a little " Akko was confident, already starting to row.
But she didn't expect a girl with brownish red hair that was passing by who throws a bag of rocks in the middle of the way, without realizing Atsuko was going normally, without even having idea how rocks disturb skateboard wheels, Kagari passed over some of them and with that the wheels braked on the spot giving a sudden brake by which the Japanese girl goes running a little without balance, to the point of stumbling in front and almost falling face down on the ground, only the most coming to give a scrape with the knees on the ground.
From a distance Ursula was watching this and got a little worried, but decided not to intervene. Akko sat down on the ground giving a light cry of pain with the grated knee and soon Amanda O'Neill's group arrives, at the moment the Japanese girl looks to the stones on the ground and sees one of them sweeping, starting to face the redhead girl with an angry look.
" It was you, wasn't it? You...
" No! I would never do something like that, it was dirty even for me, I saw who did it, it was two girls who came running out with hoods and wanted to mess with you, they try to hide, but I know who they are, they do it with all the new girls " Amanda tries to explain herself, but Atsuko continued with a huge suspicion.
" Fool me I like sausage water hair, you were laughing the whole time at my friend and me falling the whole time, you even look like you were born knowing " Akko retorted at O'Neill who took a deep breath.
" I'm sorry, that's cool, I usually make fun of others, but sabotage? No, you may even want to hit me in the face for making fun of you, but provoking these tumbles is too dirty girl, stop being so stupid, if I was really to blame, do you really think I would be here helping you? " Atsuko's last words, she feels a little relieved.
" I still won't trust you " Akko stood with her arms folded.
" And who said I give a shit, this kind of fall was the most stupid thing I've ever seen and I hate when people sabotage others, I'm a clean skater, now take it for yourself, since you don't want me to bother you, hmpf " Amanda gets up throwing a bandaid to the Japanese girl and goes away, the other friends are giving a hand, especially one with pink hair that is passing water over the wound, cleaning it.
Then Akko gets the bandage on her knee, the Japanese woman gets up from there and just watches Amanda from afar, besides her group who stay in the same corner in a relaxed way, until O'Neill gets annoyed with so much the Japanese woman is looking at her that she gets close to the tip of a ramp.
" Do you really want to stare at me? Then watch this! " Amanda drops the ramp and starts going from one side to the other, doing some manoeuvres when she got close to the tip of the ramp on the other side, practically showing off to Kagari, who only stayed on her own.
" I don't care about this clown, do you think it's ok for today to learn how to skateboard? If you want we can stop for a while," said Marianne, putting her hand on Akko's shoulder, who simply threw the skateboard on the ground.
" I'm not going to stop laughing at anyone who will learn when I get better " Akko was motivated and started paddling, this time without the presence of the stones that were swept away.
With that she was learning little by little how to try, reaching the ramps and sometimes slipping, but she was already starting to notice how it was just bending her knees and the skateboard would come back easily and this she practically learned by herself, remembering a lot of what used to happen on the videogames.
In one of these she remembered another and calling for Marianne she let her front foot back more, made a greater force in the tail hitting the ground and with that she could do the first Ollie that was still very low, but for Kagari it was as if she had done the biggest jump in history.
" What? What? Akko, even I haven't learned how to do Ollie yet! You really have potential, I saw you leaving the ground, the tail hitting and you jumping, you left a little bit, but it was something," Marianne said in amazement, while Akko also had the same reaction.
" I can't believe I learned to give Ollie the first day! That is so awesome! I got the jump! I got the Ollie! I did it! Yay! " Akko was starting to dance with excitement, Marianne was just laughing and getting all relaxed.
A little closer to there at one of the windows inside, Ursula watched Akko from afar, the girl's celebration made her feel a little happy, so much so that Croix was also next to her girlfriend, taking her shoulder.
" She really reminds me a lot of you. It was just like when you first learned to skateboard," Croix said.
" Indeed, she reminds me a lot... This girl still has enormous potential " Ursula adds.
" This girl is not only Morgana and Saori's daughter, I feel she carries something else special, I don't know what it is, but I feel it, I felt the same thing when we met my love " Croix wraps her arms around Ursula's waist who starts to reciprocate with some kisses and from there they go on their way to see other things in the summer camp.
Atsuko's first moments at the camp are already happening, the girl is meeting new people, making friends, even creating some disaffections, arguments, but most importantly the Japanese girl is enjoying every second in Luna Nova, which was really fulfilling Kagari's expectations that the place would be fun.
