Attention! 3

Chapter 5: My Demonstration

I had sent Amii and Lacinda off on Sunday afternoon since Amii had some new job that she couldn't miss too much of. Apparently, her visit was to say that and to spend a tiny bit of time with me before she would have to stay away from all of us for a really long time. Lacinda joined her because, well, that's just the way they do things, together.

Anyways, by the time Tuesday came around, I had already looked into setting a lot of things up for my new club, including seeing if they could train at my house without it being against school rules, which, since I'm a member of the club and it's property in the name of my family, it wasn't against any rules. I ordered new training equipment for us to use and even looked into learning each style of martial arts better on its own while I waited for my chance to have my demonstration.

On Tuesday at 9:55, people started to fill the auditorium I was doing the demonstration in while I continued to set things up with some of my students from my dojo and some of the members of my private police force helping out. My new club sat in seats that were as close as possible to where I would be doing the demonstration. When we were almost done setting up, I saw the uniforms for Ouran Private Academy on one side of the auditorium.

"Huh? Ouran Private Academy is here too?" I mumbled softly.

"KYON, MY BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER, HELLO! MAKE DADDY PROUD TODAY!" I looked at the voice and saw Tamaki over by the Ouran Private Academy students.

"How did you even get in here? I didn't think this was open to the public!"

"It's not! My father wanted me to make sure that the students we brought here were able to make it here and back safely! He's entrusted me with this!" I smiled up at him.

"You'll do great at that! Watch me closely today and cheer me on in your mind, ok?"

"Ok!" I faced my private police force and students with a smile.

"Alright guys, it's about time we got this started. Kenji, make sure you put forth an effort today."

"Yes Kyon-sensei!"

"Good. Now, why don't we make pairs of everyone? I want to show some of what I can do against pairs of people with varying skill levels to capture the attention of the ones watching us. If we do this, it'll be great at getting them to focus. So, beginner class students, you're a pair. Intermediate class students, you know your classmates so pair up like that. Advanced class, you're the same way. As for the police force, I think I'll let you work out your pairs yourselves. You can also work out the order you'll attack me in. We'll have a match with me facing each pair for let's say, 1 minute, before we move on to the next. I'll face each group, starting with the lowest level. That would be beginning class."

"Hey! I'm talented!"

"Kenji, now is not the time for you to tell me how talented you think you are. The fact remains that I am the sensei and I know best. Now, everyone stand off to the side. I'm going to start this and then we can spar, ok? Come at me with all you've got."

"Right!" Everyone stood off to the side so I took in a deep breath and grinned at the auditorium that was filled with people.

"Hello everyone! My name is Kyon Madaramay! I'm here to teach you about self-defense!"

"HAH! LIKE YOU COULD DO THAT, LADY," someone shouted from up in the top of the seats. I smirked.

"I figured something like this would happen so I've got a special treat to get your attention and approval! I'm going to be fighting the ones that came with me in pairs! They will attack me in pairs and we will fight for 1 minute per match! After that, I'll move on to the next pair! I'm going to be fighting them from my beginning class up to the level that my family's private police force is at! I hope you all enjoy and that you take note of any instruction I give so that you can keep yourselves and your loved ones safe! Now then, beginners, let's get started!"

Kenji and the other member of the beginning class that came with me, Akemi, moved forward and got in battle ready stances. I nodded at them and they ran at me. Kenji threw a punch at my right shoulder while Akemi went to trip me. I moved back before rushing forward and knocking Kenji down by hitting him in the center of his chest. Akemi threw a kick at my head so I stepped back before moving forward and grabbing her arm before forcing her to the ground, making sure not to hurt her as I did. Kenji went to hit me so I got up and moved back before knocking him down. We kept going back and forth with me knocking one down while the other attacked until time was up.

"THAT DOESN'T PROVE ANYTHING!"

"Calm down. I haven't shown everything I can do yet. That was just the beginning class. Let's step this up by facing the intermediate students. There are four of them so I will be fighting two pairs of people from the intermediate class, once again sparring against them for 1 minute. I have left it up to them to choose their partners and to choose the order in which their pairs will attack me." I turned to face my intermediate students. "Now, who's going to fight first?" I prompted.

"We will." I paused before looking at the voice and seeing two members of my private police force stepping forward.

"It's not time for me to face off against the private police force members yet. Why are you trying to step up now?"

"We're here to fight you. That's all. We don't care about this stupid demonstration you're performing. Honestly, we couldn't care any less about it. All we care about is fighting you for humiliating our master."

"Your master? And who would that be? Who decided that they were good enough to train you and send you after me?" I asked them coldly.

"Jiro Madaramay." I grinned.

"Oh, that loser. Well, I can just say now that you'll fail in beating me."

"Is that so?" I paused before turning to look at the voice. I scowled and grit my teeth.

"Fujitanna," I spat.

"Yes. I'm here this time too."

"How the hell do you keep escaping prison? This is way too many times for you to be out and about. They need to tighten security. I should call about that." I pulled out my phone.

"You're infuriating! I can't believe you're going to ignore me while I hold someone captive." I paused.

"You're right. I really shouldn't ignore you while you hold someone captive. I should free them first."

"If you make any move at all, I'll kill her," Fujitanna said while holding a knife against the neck of a girl she had grabbed from the Ouran Private Academy area. I froze completely. "If she can't move, you can take your time beating up on her and humiliating her. Enjoy yourselves." I powerful kick was sent into the side of my head, knocking me down. I didn't move at all, not even to get up. The two guys that my uncle taught moved to stand in front of me while cracking their knuckles.

"Rule number one when dealing with the Ouran Hostess Club… never do anything to our fearless leader or former fearless leader," shouted a voice I recognized as Mitsuko, one of the hostesses we had recruited and put through the training camp before I graduated. The guys before me froze and turned to face the voice while I started to worry.

"Don't worry, Master Kyon! We have this covered! The Ouran Hostess Club will prevail," Aimeka called out. Since when they started to call me Master Kyon, I had no idea.

"You girls can stop now. I already saved her while you were getting all that attention on you," Etsu's brother, Taro, stated in a calm voice.

"I have Fujitanna in restraints with the help of Kyon's family's private police force," Tamaki stated.

"Beat those jerks, Kyon," Mahalyn shouted.

"Good. If she's restrained, then I don't have to worry about anyone." I got up and looked at the two men before me as they turned to face me. "Let's fight, shall we?"

"She's all talk! Just fight her! Prove that you're worth something," Fujitanna screamed. I scowled at the men before me while taking two steps back.

"You really shouldn't listen to her. I'm better than both of you and my uncle combined. You have one chance to give up and end it now without me beating you. It's only one chance because you put someone in danger just for the chance to fight me, and I won't stand for a repeat of this situation."

"We're not afraid of you."

"Yeah! We won't back down!"

"Too bad for you then," I stated lowly before attacking them all out. They barely had enough time to draw their weapons they had handy before I beat them both.

"That concludes today's demonstration and instruction on self-defense! I hope you all learned some valuable skills here today," I told everyone after I had finished the demonstration. The two imitating my police force were sat in a corner with Fujitanna, forced to sit through my demonstration while my police force watched over me during the demonstration to make sure no other attackers showed up.

"That was incredible. I guess you really are the famous Kyon Madaramay after all."

"Yeah. There's no doubting it now. You're definitely her." I looked at my new club and smiled.

"I'm glad you all understand that now."

"Does this mean we can finally start training?"

"Yes. Let me know when the next meeting is. That's when I'll show you to the place where we will train. You can come over any day of the week, but I can't guarantee that I'll be there at any given time. I have my own classes to do as well as teaching in a dojo. After I evaluate everyone's skills, I can decide how much training everyone needs and how best to go about it as well as what the first competition I think we can be ready for will be. I'll handle looking at every competition and discussing with our President and Vice-president whenever I find a good one."

"I can't believe that the real Kyon Madaramay is going to be teaching me how to fight! I'm going to be awesome!"

"Keep in mind that you can't go around picking fights with people just because I'm teaching you how to fight. You have to make sure you only use this for self-defense if you use it in the real world. If I find that you're using the skills I teach you to hurt anyone unless for self-defense or defense of others in danger, I will handle you myself. I won't stand for it. People that use their skills like that are a disgrace. Now, I have some things to handle so just let me know when the next meeting is so I can prepare."

"We were actually going to have one tonight around 7:00."

"I can make it to that. Shall we meet in the same room?"

"Yes."

"Great. I'll make sure that I go there so I can show you your new training area."

"Great."

"Miss Madaramay, your father has arrived on site because he heard about the incident. I have already spoken with your friends from high school that gathered here today to thank them for their help with the incident, but he would like to thank them himself." I looked at the police officer that spoke.

"Did you make sure to include the boy that actually helped to save the girl?"

"Yes. They are all standing by so that he may speak with them all, whether they helped or not."

"I see. Thank you." I paused before facing the officer fully. "Please tell me it's only my father and that my mother stayed away."

"Your mother is blissfully unaware of what happened."

"Thank you. That's good. Those people might make it out of here alive."

"Yes. Someone was about to tell her, but I stopped them before they could. I took their phone and told her that you did a great job during your demonstration and that you asked us to tell her that you love her and will be starting training with your new club very soon."

"You are amazing. Thank you."

"I remember what happened last time you got hurt."

"It's hard to forget."

"Yes. It is."

"Anyways, thank you for all your help."

"Yes Ma'am. My pleasure. I'm here to serve and protect you and those important to you, though I failed today."

"Hey, no one could have predicted what was going to happen. I'm just glad everything worked out alright."

"Yes."

"Have you checked on the girl that was held captive?"

"Yes. I can take you to her if you like."

"Please do."

"Follow me." I was led over to the girl, who I recognized as one of my customers that was a first year when I started out in the Host Club. She followed me when I became a Hostess and stayed a loyal customer the whole time.

"Kyon, I was so scared!" She jumped up and hugged me while crying. I hugged her back and gently pat her back.

"I know, Yuki. I'm sorry. It seems that I caused you trouble. I'm sorry you got pulled into something like that because of me. Are you okay? Have you been hurt at all?"

"No. I… I want to be around you for a while though. Can I?"

"I'll stay with you until you have to go back to school. After that, I can't join you. I'm sorry."

"That's okay. Any time is good. You make me feel a bit safer."

"That's good." The doors opened so I turned my head and looked at my father as he walked into the room.

"Kyon, is that the girl that was captured?"

"Yes."

"Good. Stay with her until it's time for her to go."

"That was my plan."

"Good. I have to thank your friends for their help. I'll be down soon."

"Ok." He walked over to the large group upstairs to talk to them. After he finished talking to them and even offering Taro free lessons with me as a private teacher. "Dad, I have too much to do already. I can't give private lessons to someone on top of everything I have to do. I just sorted things out with my martial arts club. I can't add someone else to my list of people to train."

"Then I'll teach him."

"If that's what you want to do, then go ahead."

"I'd like to take you up on that offer for private lessons, Sir."

"Great. I'll contact you about them."

"Thank you."

"Thank you for your help and quick thinking." My father made his way down to where I was with the girl. "I'm sorry you got put in such a horrible situation. Please forgive me for not checking my private police force more thoroughly. I feel ashamed at what happened."

"It's alright. I'm ok now. Having Kyon here is really helping."

"That's good. I will handle the criminals now. Please go back to school with everyone. If there is anything you need, don't hesitate to let our family know."

"Alright. Thank you." I released her and sent her on her way up to everyone else.

"Bye everyone. Thanks again for all your help." After my friends left, I looked over at my father to see him with Fujitanna and the two students of my uncle.

"Kyon, did you want to do something with us until the meeting?" Mashiro asked me while bouncing on the balls of his feet. I could see the excitement on his face. I smiled at him.

"I'm sorry, but I have an economics class to go to in a little while. I've got a lot to do today so I won't be able to join you for a while yet. I'll just see everyone at the club meeting, ok?"

"Ok."

"Sorry everyone."

"That's alright."

"Kyon, you have to help clean this place up. I will be taking these three criminals as well as five officers with me. We'll handle these people." I looked at my father and nodded.

"Ok. I'll get started then."

"Good. Come on. Let's get these people to jail."

"Yes Sir!" My father took the lead while I smiled and went over to my students that were still there.

"You all may leave when you wish. If you want to help clean up, then you're welcome to do that. If you'd rather not, then go ahead and head home whenever you like."

"If I help, will you cancel the lessons that you set up to punish me?"

"Kenji, I will only cancel those lessons when I see that you start taking this seriously. This is something very serious and important to me, which is why I don't like it when you goof off. Start behaving and I'll treat you better."

"Yes Ma'am."

"I'll cancel punishment lessons for the rest of this week if you help though."

"Thank you, Kyon-sensei!"

"Now then, let's get started with cleaning this place up!"

"Right!"

Me- So, I have a reason.

Kyon- I know you do. No one else does though.

Me- Yeah. Sorry everyone who's actually been waiting for this, but I got a job and had a bunch of serious issues. It's been hard finding enough time to write. Lots of things have calmed down though. I should have a little more time, though it still won't be a whole lot, so chapters will come very slowly. This series is very important to me though, so I'll finish it no matter what! It'll just take a long time, and I'm sorry.

Kyon- At least you finally posted and explained it.

Me- Yeah. I do want to tell everyone that I am still having a few problems right now, but they're being sorted out so it'll hopefully all be better soon and I can write a little more often than now when that happens.

Kyon- So, disclaimer so you can post this and get ready for bed?

Me- Yeah. Tamaki, start this off, will you?

Tamaki- Of course. Amii does not own OHSHC or… it's just me this chapter.

Mahalyn- She owns everyone else in this chapter.

Kyon and Me- Join us next chapter!
