Chapter 6: Kyoya's Call and Showing the Club Their New Training Grounds

After I finished my classes for the day, it was time to call Kyoya, which made me happy. I eagerly pulled out my phone and called him while sitting on a bench in a grassy area of the college grounds. He answered on the fifth ring and sounded exhausted.

"Hello?"

"Kyoya, are you ok? You sound exhausted."

"I've just been working really hard lately and haven't been getting enough sleep, especially last night."

"Oh. You should try to get some more sleep."

"I will. I'll go to bed after we finish our call."

"I don't want to keep you up, Kyoya. Go to bed. I'll call you tomorrow. Maybe we can even have a video chat."

"Kyon, just let me talk to you for a while. It'll help me sleep if I talk to you a little bit."

"Are you sure you don't want to just go to bed?"

"I'm sure."

"Ok then."

"So, tell me about your day. Today was your demonstration, wasn't it?"

"Ah! It was! I went to the demonstration and did my best! Ouran Private Academy had some students attend with Tamaki leading them."

"Well, that's good. Did you enjoy it?"

"To an extent, I did. It's just that… very early on, Fujitanna took a girl from Ouran Private Academy captive. Two people posing as my officers attacked me, and I couldn't do anything because I didn't want her to get hurt. She was saved by our friends though. Once she was saved, I was able to beat the two that pretended to be officers. They were actually my uncle's students."

"I see that Fujitanna found a way out again and is still causing trouble."

"Yeah. I wish she'd stop."

"I wish the same. It's going to get crazy in the future if we have to worry about her going after you more and even going after our kids." I felt a light blush burn on my face.

"Our kids?" Kyoya stayed silent for a while before clearing his throat.

"Well… I was thinking about our future together earlier… I pictured us having kids… that's all." I smiled at that.

"Yeah. Kids in the future sounds great," I replied warmly.

"Good to hear."

"So, how was your day?"

"Tiring. They gave us a lot to do during class today. I had to do three papers."

"Wow! You've had a rough day."

"I have. Hearing your voice makes it all better."

"Yeah. Hearing your voice is the highlight to my day."

"So, I'm going to Japan this weekend."

"No way! That's amazing!"

"Yeah. I can't wait to see you."

"I can't wait either. This is so hard. I really wish it were already the weekend so we could see each other."

"Me too. We'll have to wait though."

"I know."

"I should head to bed now."

"Right. Goodnight Kyoya. Sleep well. See you this weekend."

"Bye Kyon. Have a good rest of your day. See you this weekend."

"I love you and can't wait to see you. Bye."

"I love you too and I can't wait either. Bye." I smiled and took the phone away from my ear before hanging up. I looked around me to make sure no one else was around me before jumping to my feet and doing a happy dance.

"Yay! He's coming this weekend! I'm so excited!" I sat down and giggled happily. "I can't wait for the weekend. In the meantime, I have to do my best here and stay busy so that I can have time with him this weekend. First things first, I have to entertain myself while I wait for the club meeting."

"Mashiro, wait up," I called while running up to the most excitable person in the club. He turned around to face me with a giant smile on his face.

"Kyon, hi," he called while I ran over to him.

"Hey. So, you heading to the club meeting?"

"Yeah. I am. Let's go together."

"Ok. Sounds good." We headed towards the club room together.

Along the way, I saw Kazuhiko and Chinatsu talking with a couple people. Kazuhiko looked frustrated while Chinatsu gave off the air of someone that was being intimidated. I stopped walking and just watched. One of the guys they were talking to grabbed onto Chinatsu's wrist. She instantly cried out.

"No! Don't touch me! I'm happy where I am! Leave us alone for once!"

"Let her go! She already told you no! You humiliate us every year so at the very least leave her alone when she asks!" The guys all turned towards Kazuhiko so I let out a low growl and stormed over to where they were before anything else could happen.

"Hey!" Everyone looked over at me. I gave the guys bothering my club mates a cool look. "Why don't you just leave them alone? They've made it obvious that they don't want to be bothered by you anymore."

"Who do we have here? Aren't you that girl that showed up late to try-outs to be in our club and begged us to let you try anyways?" I recognized the guys in front of me as the guys that were with the rude girl from the karate club when I was late for try-outs.

"I didn't beg. I don't beg those weaker than me."

"What was that?"

"You heard me. Now, I suggest you leave my club alone. We have a club meeting to get to."

"I can't wait for the chance to beat your ass and show you your place!" I smiled at the person that made that remark and laughed a little.

"It's funny that you think you can beat me. Actually, scratch that… it's cute, like a little kid."

"I'm going to teach you a lesson right now!" He threw a punch at me, but I caught it in my hand and glared at him.

"How dare you use martial arts to try to beat up on someone just because they're making you mad. It's one thing to use for self-defense and the defense of others. It's an entirely different thing to use it to cause harm for no reason other than being mad," I growled lowly.

"What the? You think you're so tough just because you caught my punch? Try this!"

He moved to punch me with his other hand. I caught that one too. I released the hand I grabbed onto first and then grabbed onto the arm of the second hand I caught and turned my back to him before flipping him over my body and onto his back on the ground in front of me.

"Don't let me catch you bothering my club or using martial arts to hurt someone outside of protecting yourself or others ever again," I snapped before turning around to face my club mates. "Now, should we get going to the club meeting?" I asked in a cheery voice with a smile on my face.

"Uhhhhh… sure."

"That was awesome! You're awesome! Teach me! Teach me please!"

"Calm down, Mashiro. I'll teach you a lot of cool stuff. Right now though, we need to get to the club meeting."

"Right! Let's go!" The rest of us followed him.

"Chinatsu-senpai, are you ok?" I asked while we walked along.

"Yeah… thank you for helping out back there."

"Of course. I'll always help members of my club when they're in trouble. If those guys bother you again, just let me know."

"Shouldn't you be teaching me how to defend myself instead?"

"I will. I'll teach you well enough to where you can handle yourself if they touch you again. I just want you to tell me because I'm going to go to that club and teach them all a lesson by facing off against their club president and winning. That should be enough to make them leave you alone… well, that and you beating them."

"Ok. I guess I'll tell you then."

"Great." Mashiro opened the door to the club meeting room for us and let us all walk inside before joining us in the room.

"Ok. It looks like everyone is here. That's good. We can start right away," Kazuhiko stated after we were all standing together. "On the way here, Chinatsu and I were approached by the karate club." Everyone that hadn't at least seen the event groaned.

"What's going on? Why are you all groaning like that?" I asked.

"Every year, there's a festival to show off our clubs to new students. All the martial arts clubs pair up and go against each other. The karate club always chooses us and then humiliates us," Enosuke explained.

"Those jerks are going down," I grumbled angrily. "They harass you and humiliate you like that? I don't know who the hell they think they are, but I won't let that slide!"

"Don't put yourself out there or anything." Kazuhiko sighed. "That's the way I'd like to be, but truth is that I want to show them that we're actually strong. Kyon, please teach us."

"Of course. First things first though, I should show you to your new training grounds."

"Really?"

"Yeah. In fact, we can head over now if you'd all like."

"Alright. Let's go to our new training grounds everyone!"

"Follow me." I led the way out to where there were two cars waiting. "Four people in one car and three in the other," I ordered while going to the first car and getting in. Mashiro, Haruka and Daichi got in the car with me while the other three got into the other car.

"Miss Kyon and company, we will be going now."

"Great." The car pulled away from the school and started the drive towards home.

"Woah! I don't think I've ever seen such a huge building," Haruka exclaimed as we got close to my mansion.

"Really?" I asked her in confusion.

"Yeah! It's gigantic!"

"It is really big," Daichi said to back Haruka up.

"Hm… I guess it is. I don't really notice it anymore," I replied.

"Huh? You don't?" Mashiro asked in shock.

"No. Not really."

"How could you not when it's that big?" Daichi asked.

"You'll find out soon enough." The car pulled into the gates.

"We're going inside? This is crazy!"

"Just because we're going inside the grounds doesn't mean we're going inside the building, Mashiro. We're probably just going to some dinky little shack here," Daichi responded.

"I swear it's like you already forgot who I am. I'm not taking you to some dinky shack or anything dinky at all. I'm giving you an amazing place to train that is fully stocked with everything you could need for training."

"Really?"

"Yeah. Really. I take care of my clubs and the members within them. This is just temporary while I look into a permanent solution on campus."

"You brought us to such an amazing place for a temporary arrangement?"

"Yeah. Why wouldn't I?"

"This is crazy!" The car came to a stop in front of the mansion.

"You guys are so shocked that I find it kind of funny to tell the truth." I turned to open the door and saw that it had been opened. I got out and smiled at the driver. "Thank you. Sorry for not paying attention."

"That's alright, Miss Kyon." He opened the two doors in the back for my companions to get out while the driver of the other car did the same. After we were all out, I led the way up to the doors while the drivers closed the car doors and then got in their cars and went to park the cars.

"Alright. Is everyone ready?" I prompted. After they all agreed, I turned and opened the doors. There were four maids and two butlers in the entrance hall. They all bowed when I opened the doors and walked in with my club behind me.

"Welcome back, Miss Kyon," they greeted.

"Hello. Thanks for the warm welcome," I greeted while heading towards the dojo.

"Miss Kyon, can I take your coat?" I looked at the butler that moved up beside me.

"No. I'll put it up in a minute. Could you have someone bring us all some water? We're going to be in the dojo. I want to show them a few things tonight."

"Of course." The butler headed off so I led my club into the dojo room of the house.

"This is it. This is where we will be training for now. I'm working on getting something set up that's actually on campus, but it's a bit difficult. For now, we'll just train here."

"Where are we?" Chinatsu asked.

"In a dojo we're going to be training in. I just said that this is where we'll train, and it's obviously a dojo."

"That's not what I meant! I meant this giant building! Everyone here treats you so well! What's up with that?"

"You mean, you don't know?"

"Don't know what?" she snapped while crossing her arms.

"This mansion is my house."

"WHAT?" I looked at the shocked faces of my entire club.

"What? Why are you all surprised? I know I go to a normal college, but I didn't think you'd be so surprised about me living here. I'm part of the Madaramay Family after all. Did you all forget?"

"I knew the Madaramay Family was rich and distinguished, but I didn't think it was like this," Kazuhiko replied.

"We're famous all around the world."

"But still," Enosuke muttered.

"We train private police forces and military operatives all around the world as well as general public and the upper class that are willing to pay for and commit to lessons. Beyond that, my family is also a leading producer of training equipment."

"Right."

"Now, if you give me just a minute, I can change and then start teaching you guys a little bit."

"Right."

"Kyon, I know something exciting that you don't know!" I looked at the voice and smiled at Kyoko.

"Kyoko, what are you doing here?" I asked while moving forwards and picking her up.

"I know something exciting that you don't know!"

"Really? What is it?"

"There's a special visit by someone special."

"Do you mean Kyoya's visit this weekend?"

"Kyoya's coming this weekend? Yay! I can't wait for this weekend!" I giggled at my little sister.

"I take it that you're not talking about that visit."

"She's not." I looked at the voice before setting Kyoko down on her feet and then moving forward and hugging the owner of the voice.

"Can't… breathe."

"If you can still talk, that means I can hug you tighter!"

"No… please… really can't… can't breathe… seeing spots… help." I loosened my hold but didn't let go completely.

"Kyon, please let go of my husband." I looked at the voice. "Crap." I attached myself to the owner of the newest voice.

"I'm never letting you go. You have to stay here with me forever."

"Kyon, please calm down. You're being creepier than Amii and Lacinda combined." I released Haruhi and pat her shoulder.

"I missed you, Bestie!"

"Yeah. I can tell. You nearly killed Hikaru."

"Hey… since you and Hikaru are here… does that mean that Kaoru and Benten are here too?"

"I was waiting for when we could show ourselves." I smiled at Kaoru after he spoke.

"Hi Kaoru!" My eyes drifted over to Benten, who was looking away while blushing. "Benten, why are you acting like that? What's wrong?"

"We came to share some exciting news. After that, we have to go. The news is why she's like this."

"Kaoru, did you do something to one of my girls? I'm sure I warned you about what would happen if you did," I told him darkly.

"I didn't do anything bad to her," he responded in an offended tone.

"Did you upset her at all?" I snapped.

"No. I'm really happy. I'm so happy about this that I'm embarrassed," Benten said quietly. I froze before looking at her and taking her hands in mine gently. She looked at me so I gave her a reassuring smile.

"You never have to be embarrassed with us, Benten. We're your friends. You're one of my girls."

"R-right. So, Kaoru… he… he did something great."

"What was it?"

"Should I say it?" he asked her softly. She looked down and nodded so I looked at Kaoru. "I proposed yesterday. Benten and I are going to be getting married later this year." I released Benten's hands and grabbed Kaoru by the collar of his shirt.

"If you EVER upset her, I swear that I will fillet you!"

"You don't have to say that! I'm not going to do anything bad to her! I proposed because I love her and would never dream of hurting her!"

"Oh? Is that so?" I growled lowly.

"Kyon, I swear on my life that I'm doing this because I love her and want to make her as happy as she makes me. I feel like marrying her is a step in the right direction. I love her more than I thought possible so I'll always strive for her happiness. If you want me to protect her, I'll even join one of your family's dojos. I'll do anything for her!"

"Good. Stay that way." I released his collar. "Now I can be your friend again. I'm so happy for you two!" I hugged them both with a smile. "Congratulations! You are such a great couple! I'm so happy for you guys! I love you both! You have to invite me to the wedding!"

"Of course. That goes without saying. You're one of our best friends."

"Yeah… you're our fearless leader."

"Thanks guys. Now, I have to get changed so that I can teach my new club a few things."

"We should all get going too."

"Before you go, how long will you be here?"

"We leave on Sunday."

"You should come by here this weekend for another visit! Kyoya's going to be here too! Kyo and Renge might be here too. I'm not sure yet. They haven't given me a definitive answer. Anyways, it'll be great for us to all have fun and celebrate together!"

"We'll make sure we come by on Saturday. We'll have a party or something Saturday night. Be prepared to come to the party."

"Will do. Bye guys."

"Bye Kyon." They left so I turned to look at my new club.

"Sorry about that guys. I'll go get changed and then come back and we can get started."

"Uhhh… who were those people?" Daichi asked.

"Those were some of my best friends. I met three of them in high school and have been best friends with the other one since grade school."

"Oh. Ok."

"Well, I'll go change now."

"Ok." I headed off to get changed into a gi so I could teach them some basic but very effective moves to use.

Me- This is my first chapter since announcing that I was working now.

Kyon- Good job.

Me- On updating or on updating with a job?

Kyon- Yes.

Me- But… that wasn't a yes or no question…
