Welcome back to The Violet Riddle. Last time, our heroes arrived at the Altar of Electricity, atop Concurrent Skies. But just as they are about to claim the necklace, the "false one" arrived in scene and stole the gem away from them. Realizing the enemy is growing bolder, they rush off towards the Altar of Wind. So, where is it? Read on to discover...

(As the scene opens, we focus in on our heroes flying after the beam from Concurrent Skies, with Ember and Flame scanning the skies around them as Cynder carries Langdon)

Ember: No sign of that dragon from earlier.

Flame: Chances are he's ahead of us, looking for the next Altar.

Spyro: We can't let him get there before us.

Cynder: Even still, I can't help but wonder who he is.

Langdon: It's a fair question. Who is this guy?

Spyro: Some lunatic who wants to end the world. That's all I need to know to know we've got to stop him.

Langdon: Yeah, that's pretty accurate from what we know.

Cynder: But... why? What does he have to benefit from ending the world? It's not like he's trying some Great Cleansing nonsense like Malefor did.

Spyro: That we know of. Please don't tell me you're sympathizing with him.

Cynder: Not on your life, Spyro. I'm just trying to understand what's going on here, and I'm not getting much.

(As the group travels, Langdon starts to get a familiar feeling if lightheadedness.)

Langdon: Why does it feel like the Vatican Archives up here?

Cynder: How do you know what that feels like?

Ember: What does that even mean anyhow?

Langdon: Low oxygen levels if anything.

Spyro: That's honestly warranted, we are pretty high up.

Cynder: Then there's only one place we could be going.

(And just like that, we see exactly where we're headed. A series of islands suspended in the air by what looks like a volcano below them.)

Spyro: The Floating Islands, of course.

Langdon: They're just called the Floating Islands? Considering the names of the last locations, that's pretty boring.

Cynder: They were kind of named during a war, Professor. Originality wasn't the first priority.

Langdon: Good point.

(With that, our heroes land on one of the islands, preparing their strategy going forward)

Spyro: Anybody got a bead on that beam?

Flame: Last I saw it, it was heading up through the islands. Should be near the top of the chain.

Cynder: Then that's the way we'll go.

Langdon: Wait, how're we supposed to go up? You guys glide last I checked.

Ember: We're right overtop of a volcano. The hot air will carry us aloft.

Langdon: Another volcano? (Looks off the island and sees Warfang) But we're just outside Warfang!

Spyro: Malefor formed it when he lifted the Warfang Temple into the air as a symbol of his dominance. The Temple itself was lost during our final push against him.

Cynder: The volcano itself never dissipated. But people are starting to settle these islands, helped out in arriving by the rising air acting as a lifting force. So it's not a total waste of land. Spyro and I honestly considered moving up here at one point, but we decided it would seem like we were looking down on people, and we didn't want that.

Spyro: As good as this history lesson is for Professor Langdon, we need to get moving.

Langdon: Agreed.

Cynder: Alright then. Hold on Professor, we're going up.

(And with that, the group starts to fly up through the islands, as the "false one" looks on from a distance, ending our tale for today.)

And that looks like a good spot to end for now. So, the Altar of Wind is hidden in the Floating Islands, and the enemy got there first it seems. And now it's onward and upward to find the Altar. Will the forces of good make it there first? Or will the "false one" claim another gem? Tune in next time to start finding out! Same time... same channel!
