Hey, guys.
Again sorry for the late update. And just like the last time no excuse. It was just too much of a headache to plan out things. I was able to prepare half of the story and the rest of the half took too much of time again.
Like keeping the story and the conversation fluent was easy enough, I mean all I had to do was create a scenario and have the characters have a conversation that was senseless , but would still make sense, and just like I said here, the conversation was totally pointless and idiotic , so I tore it down and wrote it again, which was easy enough. Problems began to rise when the scenario change arrived. Like that was heck lot of things that I had to change with the scenario change, and it was a lot by a lot of things.
And when I had to change that, the problems began to arise one after one, which truly was just disgusting, so I tore it down and wrote it again a lot of times. Which was truly horrifying and gave me a lot of headache and a lot of things to think about. Moreover family matter came in and it became a lit more hectic.
And now we are here again another new chapter, hoping that it would be something that all of you will enjoy and have fun reading in.

Chapter: Academy Side Story-III
(A few distance away from where the battle took place)
Jiraya, Tsunade Erza and Shizune, along with Ma and Pa appeared in a puff of smoke, all of them panting due to the battle and after sometime pa spoke up.
"Is everyone okay?" Pa asks
"I think we are going to be fine for a moment." Jiraiya said not finding and any immediate danger in the area. "But we need to get out of here before that thing." Jiraya grimaced as he talked about Zeref. "Whatever that is find us again." He said and turned to look at Shizune. "Where is the little girl?"
"She is in a safe house a few minutes away from where we are." Shizune answered.
"None of us are safe if whatever that is anywhere around us." Jiraya said to her. "We will get her and then leave this place via reverse summon, we need to be quick before he finds us." He then turned towards Erza as Shizune vanished from the sight heading towards where she left Karin at. "Than you are going to tell me who or whatever the hell that thing is?" He told her.
"And what is he?" Tsunade asks.
"I don't know." Jiraya told her. "But while I was in my sage mode, I felt a something very dark, evil and dangerous, like death itself was standing there." He gave a brief pause as Shizune left to get Karin. "For a moment I thought we all would be dead in an instant."
"That would be correct, Jiraiya." Ma spoke up next. "What we saw when we entered sage mode was something that reeked and felt of death, and only death, as if it was the death god itself."
"You wouldn't be wrong if you thought that." Erza said as she took a breath and leaned on a tree beside her. "None have came close to see any of his abilities except a few as most of them would die in his presence alone, I was among the few who knew of what he could do and even that is limited because I was unable to make him go all out."
"And how and why did you come to know about that?" Tsunade asks.
"He was the boss of my mother." Erza told the two. "Who was a bad guy. And brother of my friend and partner, who is a good guy." 'Also what did he mean by 'it's been three hundred years.' Erza thought remembering what Zeref had spoken. 'Don't tell me!' She paused for a brief moment alarmed. 'We traveled through both dimensions and time!' She tried to think what exactly has happened. 'So even if I try to find Natsu, it could be a possibility that he could either be in the past or future, but how, if Natsu was sent to the past, then he would've met Zeref one way or another, so there is a chance that he and Happy would be in same time as me, but what of they are not, I need to find out more!' She began to run her head at the thought process. 'Damn its annoying!'
"So you are also immortal?" Jiraiya asks while Erza was pondering the words.
"Huh, wha?" Erza began as she heard what the sanin has asked. "No, while my mother was and he too is, I am not!" She told him.
"But I clearly heard him say that you are over three hundred years old and your mom's immortal too?!" Jiraiya shot back and Erza flinched.
'Damn!' She thought as she tried to think of a way to explain her situation. 'Can't exactly tell him I am from another world what should I, wait--' "Its actually because of a seal." She quickly lied.
"A seal?" Jiraiya, Tsunade, Ma and Pa asks at the same time.
"We've other things to discuss, first we need to get away from here, before he finds us first and this time we might not be so lucky!" Erza told them
"She is right while we are here we are in danger, we need to get out of here quickly!" Pa spoke up
"I am with you on that!" Tsunade began. "I don't know who you are but I don't want to face that ever again!"
"And who are you?" Erza asks.
"I am Tsunade." Tsunade began as she pointed at Jiraiya. "This idiot's teammate and friend, and you are an Uzumaki right?"
"Yes, Erza Scarlett-Uzumaki." Erza answered her. "Thank you for helping u--" "Stop it!" All five of them turned towards the direction where the voice came from, two of them recognizing as the voice of Karin. Erza fearing the worst quickly ran in the direction but stopped as the said girl came running out of the bush with Shizune hot on her heels.
"Make it stop!" Karin cried out as she tried cover her ears. "Its too loud!" Tsunade quickly turned to Shizune, her doctor side coming forth.
"Shizune what's wrong?!" Tsunade asks as Shizune comes to a stop.
"I don't know!" Shizune answers within a moment. "The only thing I know is that while I was carrying her she suddenly broke down telling how it was too loud and that she didn't want to hear anything and to shut up and the jumping out and running here."
'Somethings wrong--' Erza thought but her thoughts ended midway when Karin shouted at her.
"Of course something's wrong!" She yelled at the red haired knight. "All of you are speaking way to loudly and not shutting up!"
"I haven't even spoke a word!" Jiraiya said.
"Don't lie!" Karin said as she pointed at the white haired sanin. "You just said something about a guy called Zeref, what to write in report, and sending the latest volume of your book!" She then pointed to Ma, overlooking the incredulous expression of Jiraiya. "You, whatever you are, are thinking the same thing along with what you'll get to eat tonight." Her finger than went to Pa. "Who is the great toad sage and why is he important, why do you even want to inform him about this Zeref?!" Her little fingers than pointed towards Tsunade.
"Stop talking about your winning, nobody cares about what you were about to win or loose!" Tsunade looked surprised at the words. "And why would they except a pig for a bet, it doesn't even look normal!" Said pig, Tonton looked at the old sanin with a glare, proving that he did not, in reality, look normal Her hands then went towards her apprentice. "And stop comparing your chest to the old hag!" Shizune face flared up as the rest turned to look at her, while Tsunade developed a twitching eye. "Why would you even want to compare the two?!" She hid herself or better yet, her face behind Tonton who was still glaring at Tsunade.
"And you!" She then pointed to Erza who raised a brow. "Who the hell is Natsu Dragneel and Happy, or Zeref and Acnologia, and can please just speak quietly, you guys are speaking way to loudly and it's making my head hurt so please...just... stop...talking!" She said the last part between sobs. Jiraiya seeing that was first to step forward but stopped when he saw Erza move.
"Sure!" Erza said with a gentle smile as she sat in front of Karin who was rubbing her eyes. "Just keep your eyes closed, everything will be okay, alright!" Karin nodded her head as she closed her eyes as Erza quickly knocked her out, letting her head rest on her shoulder. Erza closed her eyes and took a deep breath before rising up, Karin still in her hold. "Now." She turned towards Jiraiya. "How are we getting out of here?"
(Karin's Mindscape)
'What's this?' A slight disembodied voice spoke through the darkness as it tried to think straight.
*sob*
'Is someone crying?' The voice thought. 'What's going on? Where are others?' At once a lot of voices and filtered through his ears as he failed to get a single thought. 'What the hell?!' The voice cried out. 'Someone stop it, it's way too much!' The voice thought as it began to fade once again.
'Some...o...one.' the voice cried out whilst fading. 'Please help!'
(Mount Myobaku)
Jiraiya and the rest, which also consisted of Tsunade, Erza, Shizune and Karin appaered with cloud of smoke in the sacred mountain of the toads.
"I've to look after the newborn." Ma said as she moved away from the group. "Why don't you visit Gamamaru-Sama and treat the child?" She said as she hopped away. "Something tells me that it wasn't normal."
"It definitely wasn't!" Pa muttered as he moved forward. "It was like she was reading my mind." "Yours and mine both!" Jiraiya said.
"Like a Yamanaka?" Shizune asks.
"No." Tsunade shot the thought down. "The Yamanaka's doesn't have something like that, the techniques they have transfers their minds to their targets body, it doesn't allow them, as she was muttering, to hear and read the thoughts of other person." She then looked off in the distance. "What actually she did was hear our thoughts seeing how she was telling us to speak quietly."
'That sounds somewhat familiar.' Erza thought as she watched the little girl in her hold.
"Huh!" Jiraya began at her words. "That sounds familiar."
"You know what that is?" Tsunade asks.
"Yeah, I remember sensei informing me about the a bloodline of the Uzumakis." Jiraiya told Tsunade who looked at him in confusion.
"An Uzumaki bloodline?" Tsunade asks gaining Erza's and Shizune's attention who were laying Karin down in an comfortable position. "Why don't I know about this?"
'A bloodline?' Erza thought as she listened to the conversation. 'It could be important!'
"Well nobody knew about it!" Jiraya said in a defensive tone. "I believe that even among Uzumaki's it is a rare bloodline which activates under some critical situations." The words placated the female sanin.
"And what do they call this bloodline?" Pa asks as Shizune came back from checking over Karin.
"Well from what I was told." Jiraya began. "He called it Dragon Slayer." The next thing he knew was a sword that was pointing at his neck courtesy of Erza Scarlet. The sudden action surprised the lot as Tsunade, Shizune and Pa looked surprised at the hostility that the red haired knight was showing. Jiraya raised his hands in defense as Erza glared at the man.
"Woah!" Jiraya began as he tried to move away but stopped when he felt a sword poking in the back, he turned back to see that the sword was floating in the air and cursed as he remembered her ability that she had shown previously in the fight. "Why the sudden hostility?"
"How do you know about the Dragon Slayers?!" Erza growled as she brought the sword closer to his neck. Pa and Tsunade tried to help him but stopped when they felt something cold pressed against their necks, they turned to see the swords also encircling them.
"Huh?" Jiraya asked confused at her words, even Tsunade, Pa and Shizune looked surprised at the question. "You know about the Dragon Slayers?"
"Don't dodge!" She continued with her threatening expression. "Tell me how do you know about them?!"
"Hey stop with the sword, lady!" Jiraya said in a panic tone. "It could remove my head in an instant."
"The sword will be removed once you tell me how you know about the Dragon Slayers!" Erza said in a final tone.
"Jiraiya!" Pa firm voice came from behind them. "Tell her!" He commanded.
"I was going too, anyway." Jiraiya muttered under his breath. "Look, Erza can I call you that, so Erza, I don't know much, except for the fact that it's an Uzumaki bloodline, very rare, allows them to be resistant to their respective elements, can also mix two elements together to use sub elements and that different types of Dragon Slayers have different abilities and that's a rundown version of it."
"Wow!" Tsunade said as Shizune and Pa gaped at the explanation. "From what I gathered that bloodline might be very efficient."
"And dangerous." Pa inputted.
"That's all well and good." Erza began. "But it doesn't tell me how you know about them!"
"We found it from a letter that was written by the Fourth Hokage and his, and the Fire Dragon Prince, Natsu Dragneel." Jiraya saw a brief look pass through her face. "And judging by your reaction I suppose you are familiar with the person."
"Yes." Erza said in a blunt manner. 'What the hell is going on, what's Dragon Slayer Bloodline, why did Natsu wrote a letter regarding that? Need to find out more, but first.' She looked towards Jiraya and others who looked relieved when the swords vanished away from their necks and looked back at her. 'What do I tell them?'
"And I suppose you don't mind tell me about how do you know about the Dragon Slayers and Natsu Dragneel?" Jiraya asks.
'Think Erza, think!' "He is my partner." Erza said as she thought. 'Atleast that part isn't a lie.' "We were supposed to meet each other via the seal that I told you about but I think something went wrong."
"You mean the same seal that allowed you to be over three hundreds years old?" Pa asks.
"The seal doesn't allow us to be three hundred years old!" Erza shot affronted at her words. "The seal is special it creates a space in the seal which keeps us safe and protects from the outside world, which also includes time." Erza told them. 'Its basically Fairy Sphere that I am telling them about.'
"So whatever is inside that seal..." Tsunade began.
"Will not be damaged with the passing of time." Shizune completes.
"Yes." Erza replied. "Also the people inside the seal will be in a stasis mode, which, so that..." she was interrupted mid way by Pa. "When the seal becomes undone, for the one who was sealed inside, it would be like no time has passed."
"Yes."
"Fascinating." Jiraiya muttered at the function of the seal. "And how can the seal can be undone then, for most of the seals ot depends on the user or some trigger action." He then paused for a moment. "Or is there something else."
"That's a family technique." Erza said in a firm tone as she remembers another of the things she was taught by the older Uzumaki. "I can't tell you more than that." Pa and Jiraiya eyed her before taking a sigh.
"I understand." Jiraiya said as he nodded his head. "But you can definitely tell her about these two about it." He said while pointing in the direction of Tsunade and Karin, confusing her.
"What?" Erza and Tsunade asks at the same.
"I mean, that little girl there is a legitimate Uzumaki." Jiraya said and then turned to Tsunade. "Apart from her, Tsunade here is also part Uzumaki and apart from her there is one last Uzumaki back in my village, so you can tell these three about it." He looked at Erza making her sweat. "Can't you?"
"Very well." Erza answered after a moment. "But not till we found out about what is happening to her, and if she is having the Dragon Slayer Bloodline." 'For which the chances are low.' She thought while looking down at Karin. 'But if she does, than there is only explanation.' She looked towards where Karin was injured and what Zeref had said rang through her mind. '"You will be happy with what I've given her." He said' She pondered what he meant. 'Don't tell me, he forced a lacrima inside her when we were fighting!' Her thoughts were interrupted when a large rumbling sounded followed by three toads that appeared.
"Oi Pa!" The large toad boss, Gamabunta began. "What's happening? I heard from Gamakichi that you and Jiraiya were being threatened!"
"Don't worry about it Bunta." Pa calmly said as he stood in front of the toad boss. "It was just a misunderstanding."
"Are you sure?" Bunta asks again while eyeing Erza with caution.
"Yes." Pa firmly said. "Now move aside, we have discuss something's with Gamamaru-sama, and you Jiraiya." He turned towards the Toad Sanin. "You need to inform the village about the being that we faced."
"You might also want to tell them about another threat." Erza interrupted them. "Because if Zeref is here than he must be too."
"And what might this threat be?" Gamabunta asks.
"The Dragon King of Apocalypse." Erza told them. "Acnologia."
(A month later, Konohagakure no Sato)
Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Hokage of the Village Hidden in the leaves, walked with a quiet pace toward his destination, the Nara household. A few days ago he recieved a letter from two of his students.
Jiraiya usually writes to provide him with information but Tsunade was a surprise.
Apparently the two of them crossed each other in a town, where Jiraiya was fighting against Orochimaru, no surprises there, alongside two newly surfaced Uzumaki, which almost made him drop his pipe, one a child, who is a Poison Dragon Slayer, he had to read that part carefully and rubbed his eyes several time, and other an old woman, who is definitely three hundred years old, now that part he read over a hundred times, but age wise looks like Kurenai, that did made him drop his pipe. He read after that for an explanation, so the thing is some kind of seal was involved for that.
Apart from that he also listed about two threats, which he needs to discuss with his shinobi council.
So here he was, on this fine sunny day walking towards the Nara house with only one thing in mind. But stopped mid way, when he heard some kind of commotion in the Nara Clan residence.
He went inside to see Naruto, Tenten, Ino, Chouji, Kiba and Chouza laughing very hard. A bit to the side Sasuke, Hinata and Sakura alongside Inoichi looked constipated not sure what to do with the situation, while Shikamaru and his mother, Yoshino rubbed their head in exasperation.
"What's going on?" Hiruzen said peaked around them and nearly burst out laughing at what was the cause.
There sat in the middle of the Nara residence backyard, the head of Shikaku Nara in the ground, the porcupine hair, now turned into buns, swirls drawn on his cheeks, hands out in weird position along with hid but and legs below out of the ground, the rest was buried deep inside the shade of the ground.
"Good Afternoon, Lord Hokage!" Shikaku said at seeing the leader of the village. "We all would've greeted you, but as you can see, we, well I am in a precarious situation." He said with a strained smile. "Yoshino will guide you inside, so while you wait inside, the Ino-Shika-Cho will be there with you within a moment." He told Hiruzen. "We just first need to figure out how to get me out of here." At the words the Hokage raised a brow, but left it at that as he was guided inside by the wife of the Nara Patriarch.
"And why can't they dig him out?" He asked Yoshino who was leading him.
"He was trying create a new technique, Lord Hokage, for the clan." Yoshino answered him. "Apparently he has been trying to create a technique that would allow the user to jump into the shadows of their target and control the person while being in the shadow." Hiruzen almost lost him composure at her words. "It was successful, for the most part that is?"
"And what does that mean, if you don't mind me asking?" He asks.
"After some thorough research, which was new for all of us, seeing how Shikaku was trying so hard, while still looking like someone who don't want to move from his place, he was able to finally find a way to incorporate himself into shadows of his target." Yoshino relayed the explanation. "But right now he could only do it for the shadows of the stationary objects."
"That is quite a success, is it not?" Hiruzen asks.
"Well he was able to integrate himself in the shadows of his target." Yoshino began. "He was unable to find a proper way to channel chakra and find a way to release the technique."
"So the reason my Jounin commander was like that because." Hiruzen began.
"He decided to use a half baked technique to see if it works or not while throwing precautions to the wind." Yoshino replied. "I can't believe my husband, who boasts the IQ above 600 made a mistake like that, sometimes I wonder how a man like him is the smartest man in the all of Konoha."
"Everyone makes mistakes." Hiruzen told her. "Even the best of the best, they just know how to hide them better, it's just happenes that Shikaku was unable to hide it better."
"That is true Lord Hokage." Yoshino said as she slid a door open guiding the Kage to a seating place. "Please wait for a moment, my husband will be here soon." She said while moving out of the room. Once Yoshino was out Hiruzen took a deep breath and sighed.
'Sometimes I wonder!' He thought while looking outside the window. 'Why did I decide to remain as the Kage.'
