BloodyCrystal: Number two.
Love
She had loved Hatori-san, but he had never once indicated any reciprocated feelings. She had dreamed and wished so much, but nothing had ever happened. She hadn't even seen Hatori-san since her job as his assistant had ended.
And now, she was deliriously, wonderfully, ecstatically head-over-heels in love. And she had never once felt better than she did now. She still cared for Hatori-san, obviously enough, but it wasn't the all-consuming passion it had been thanks to her loving husband. She hadn't seen Hatori-san in so long, and she wondered why he hadn't come to her wedding, since she had thought them at least friends. Well, he was a doctor, so he had probably been busy. Now that she was married, she probably wouldn't see him again, anyways. And that hurt.
For those dream-memories were all too bitter-sweetly, seductively real. A world where Hatori-san loved her, and she loved him.
