Wes was a quick learner when it came to learning to use his new powers. He was now getting ready to leave the Kent Farm and go back to the Army because that is where he belonged. Before he left, he let Lois and Clark know that if they ever needed any help with anything that he would always come back and him them, since they had really saved his life.

"I hope he does ok when he gets back with the Army. He will have to hide his powers for the most part so that he won't get experimented on." Lois said.

"He will be fine. He is a smart guy. Wes will do what needs to be done when it comes to keeping his secret because there is really no reason for him to tell anyone." Clark said.

"I guess you are right. So, what do you want to do for the rest of the day? It is a Saturday, and your mom is not expecting us back until dinner. We have the whole day to ourselves." Lois said.

"I don't know. Do you have anything in mind?" Clark asked.

"Why don't we go and see Chloe. We have been so busy training Wes, that we haven't seen her except for when we were at work." Lois said.

"Ok, that sounds like a plan. Although, I guess we should call first, because Jimmy has been there a lot since you moved in here." Clark said and Lois nodded because she would not want to see Chloe in such a position. Ever.

"I will call her now. I don't want to get a show if we just show up out of the blue." Lois said as she shivered, and all Clark could do was laugh.

"I would probably be good payback since she has seen us in that position before." Clark said.

"I guess you are right. So, I am going to call Chloe and see what she is doing." Lois said.

After Lois got off the phone with Chloe, she turned to Clark and said, "She is at her apartment. She said to come on over."

They both sped over to the Talon and got some coffee to waste some time so that Jimmy didn't get any ideas about them. Once they were done with the coffee, they walked up the stairs and knocked on the door. About thirty seconds later, Chloe was letting them in.

"So, what have you guys been up to? I haven't seen you except for at work. I was starting to think that you didn't like me anymore." Chloe said with a smile.

"You know that isn't possible Chloe. We have just been busy with stuff at the farm. We are sorry that we haven't been available." Clark said.

"I understand that. It must be hard having to do two jobs, Clark. So, what do you think will happen now that Senator Burke is dead?" Chloe asked.

"It is funny that you should ask that. Lionel has been coming around a lot and telling mom that the governor would like to appoint her to the job. She doesn't know if she is going to take the job yet, but it is a possibility." Clark said.

"I think she would be good at it. I think that she should do it." Chloe said.

"We have been telling her the same thing, but you know how mom is. She really likes life on the farm, and she thinks that she is away too much as it is." Lois said.

"I guess I could see that. She would have to stay in DC if she took this job." Chloe said.

"Yes, she would. I think she is leaning on taking the job though. I guess we will find out soon enough. So, how have things been going with you Jimmy?" Clark asked.

"Everything has been great CK. I have my beautiful girlfriend and my dream job at the Planet. What more could I ask for?" Jimmy asked.

"That all sounds good. I think we should do a double date sometime. I would say tonight, but Mrs. K. is making dinner tonight." Lois said.

"I think that is a great idea. Maybe we can set something up for next week." Chloe said.

"I think that could be arranged. So, what are you two doing today?" Lois asked.

"We don't have anything planned. Just take it easy I guess." Jimmy said.

"Well, maybe we can watch a movie or something until we have to be back home for dinner." Clark said.

"I like that idea. Do you have a movie in mind?" Chloe asked.

"Something with action. I hate chick flicks." Lois said.

"So, Die Hard then?" Clark asked.

"It is the best action movie of all time." Lois said.

"I think you are the only one who considers that movie a Christmas movie Lois." Chloe said.

"Well, it takes place at Christmas, so why wouldn't it be a Christmas movie?" Lois asked.

"Because Christmas movies are normally easy-going movies and Die Hard does not fit in that mold." Chloe said.

"I guess you have a point, but I will always consider it a Christmas movie." Lois said.

"Hey, what about Home Alone. I haven't seen that in a while." Clark said as he was looking through the movies.

"I can get on board with that. I always liked those movies as well." Lois said.

"I am guessing that it is hard to watch movies with Lois, because she only likes certain genres." Jimmy said.

"You have no idea. So, let's get this movie started. We only have a couple of hours before dinner." Clark said.

"What is Mrs. Kent cooking tonight anyways?" Chloe asked.

"Pot Roast. It is one of her specialties that I try not to ever miss if I can help it." Lois said.

"Oh, I know. I have had it a few times myself over the years. Although, I have to say, anything that Mrs. Kent cooks is normally great." Chloe said.

"That it is. I am going to start the movie. So, let's sit back and enjoy." Clark said as he pushed the play button and then sat back to enjoy the movie with his close friends.
