The next day, Lois got her wish as she and her boyfriend flew to Paris so that they could have a quiet day before they had to go back to Smallville the day after that. Lois couldn't believe how easy it was to get to places with the powers that she now had. She was used to having to fly many hours to get to a place like Paris, but now she could be there in minutes. The benefits of falling in love with a Kryptonian.

"I am glad that I will never have to fly coach again." Lois said.

"You will have to fly coach a lot once we become full fledged reporters." Clark said.

"And why is that?" Lois asked.

"If Grant, or whoever is in charge of the Planet makes travel arrangements for us, we have to fly. They will know something is going on if they find out that we never got on the plane." Clark explained.

"That makes sense. Maybe we can get first class though, being that we are some of the best reporters at the Planet." Lois said.

"That could happen. So, what exactly are your plans for the day?" Clark asked.

"I haven't been here for a while, so I think it would be nice to take in some of the sites that I have seen before since you have never seen them." Lois said.

"That sounds good to me." Clark said as they went and got a hotel room and then went out to explore the city.

. . .

The couple walked up to the Eiffel Tower and Clark looked up at it and couldn't help but be in awe of it. "Never thought I would actually come to Paris, much less see the Eiffel Tower." Clark said.

"The benefits of being with someone like me." Lois said with a smile.

"You think very highly of yourself don't you?" Clark asked, but he couldn't help but laugh.

"Of course, I do. It's me we are talking about here." Lois said.

"I guess I am with you so that I can even out your self-confidence." Clark said.

"Of course, that is the case, and without me, you would always be brooding and stuff like that. We both make each other better." Lois said.

"That was the perfect way to put it. So, how about we go and take a look at this tower. I used to be scared of heights. Now that I can fly, I don't have that fear anymore." Clark said.

"I guess that would be a problem if you were scared of heights and you had to fly all of the time." Lois said as the two of them walked to the elevator of the Eiffel Tower and rode to the top.

. . .

Once the couple was done touring the tower, they rode back down the elevator and made their way to where they could get something to eat. They found a nice little french restaurant and sat down to enjoy a meal.

"That was amazing. I am glad that I got the chance to see the Eiffel Tower." Clark said.

"Yeah, it was great. I think what made it even better was the fact that we saw it together. It was very romantic." Lois said.

"That it was. So, I have never really eaten any french food, so what is good?" Clark asked.

"To tell you the truth, I don't really know. All I can remember from the last time I was here was that I always ate American food." Lois said.

"So, you are ordering from the American section then?" Clark asked.

"Sure am. Can't go wrong with a cheese burger and fries." Lois said with a smile.

"I just thought that since we were at a French Restaurant, we would eat french food." Clark said.

"I will let you get french food and I will try it, but i won't be getting it." Lois said and Clark nodded as he looked at what to pick from.

As for her normal, Lois ordered a cheeseburger and fries while Clark ordered a french meal that had chicken as his meat. Once the orders arrived at the table, Lois ate her burger and fries and then she reached over to try a piece of Clark's food. She actually liked it and she tried to get another piece but Clark smacked her hand away.

"Come on Clark. Just another little piece." Lois said.

"No Lois. It is my food. I was fine with you trying it, but I won't let you eat all of it." Clark said.

"Fine. I am full anyways." Lois said with a pout on her lips.

"I will be done soon and then we can go and do some more touring if you like." Clark said.

"We can go check out a few more places. I have forgotten what all is here since the last time I was here. We might need to get a booklet that tells of all the tourist attractions." Lois said.

"We can do that. I will pay the bill. Why don't you see if there is anything in here that can tell us what we need to go and see." Clark said as Lois got up from her chair and walked to a display near the door that had little books that showed what the best attractions were to go and see.

When Clark was done paying for their meals, he found Lois outside looking at a book. "So what should we go and see next?" Clark asked.

"I think we should go to the Louvre next and then to the Notre-Dame Cathedral. After that we will see what else we have time for." Lois said.

"We have all day Lois. We don't need to rush." Clark said.

"That might be true, but I was planning on staying in the hotel room for most of the night. If you know what I mean." Lois said with a smirk.

"I guess I can work with that as well. So, let's head to the Louvre and then the Notre-Dame Cathedral. After that we can go and have some fun." Clark said.

"See, I knew we were a perfect match." Lois said as they went to do some more touring.
