The team walked into Oliver's and saw Chloe was hard at work at her computer. The team had found out a lot about what Lex was doing with Dinah being inside the company and telling them everything that she was hearing.
"So, what is new with the cue ball today, Chloe?" Lois said.
"Well, he thinks that he has found a way to control the Traveler. Clark you might want to look into this. We don't need Lex being able to somehow control you." Chloe said.
"No. That would be bad. Lex would be unstoppable if he had someone with my powers on his side." Clark said.
"From what Dinah said, you should probably go and talk to Lionel. He seems to know a lot about this being that he was a part of Veritas." Chloe said.
"I will come with you as well, Clark. We can make it seem like an interview." Lois said.
"Ok, let's head out then." Clark said as he and Lois went to Luthor Corp to find out as much about Clark being controlled as they could.

Lois and Clark arrived at Luthor Corp not long after leaving Oliver's apartment. They walked into the building and asked to see Lionel. The secretary showed them to the elevator and then they went to the top floor.
"Clark, Lois. It is good to see you both. What can I do for you?" Lionel asked.
"We heard rumors of there being a way to control the Traveler. We can let Lex have that power, so we need to know what you know." Clark said.
"I see. Well, there is a way that the Traveler can be controlled. I found out about it when I was younger. I don't know where the device is. I could never find out. The problem is, Lex will most likely find it. He is too smart not to." Lionel said.
"I know. So, will you be able to tell us where to go once he finds out?" Lois asked.
"I will do the best that I can. He really doesn't trust me that much right now." Lionel said.
"The feeling is mutual, though I trust you more than I do Lex." Lois said.
"So, is there anything else?" Lionel asked.
"No, that is all we had to know for right now. Make sure to keep us informed of any information that you get on this device. We can't let Lex get his hands on it." Clark said.
"No we can't. I will let you know as soon as I know something." Lionel said as Lois and Clark turned to leave the office and head back to Oliver's apartment.

When they arrived back at Oliver's apartment, Chloe was looking toward the elevator waiting for any information that they might have.
"So, what did Lionel have to say?" Chloe asked.
"There is a way to control the Traveler, but Lionel is going to let us know when Lex finds out where it is and he is going to call us." Clark said.
"Do you really trust Lionel to do that?" Oliver asked.
"Well, he is trying to stay in my mom's good graces, so if he doesn't play nice that won't happen, so i do think he will tell us just because of that." Clark said.
"The thought of your mom with Lionel makes me want to hurl." Lois said.
"You aren't the only one. There is one good thing about it though. It keeps Lionel in line." Clark said.
"I do have to say that the man has been much easier to work with since he started to have feelings for your mother. I just wish that your mother didn't have to play this game just to keep Lionel straight so that he will help us when we need it." Chloe said.
"I know. She doesn't seem to mind too much though. I don't think she has feelings for him, but I do think that she enjoys talking to him sometimes." Clark said.
"I guess I can understand that. So, anything from Dinah?" Lois asked.
"She is starting to get a list of places that Lex is building for 33.1 locations off the books. Once we find all of these places, we will be able to take him down for good. He won't be able to get his way out of this one." Chloe said.
"Are you sure Chloe? He has done some shady shit before and yet he is still out there doing the same thing now." Lois said.
"The courts will have no choice but to charge him since he is clearly trying to keep these places secret because of the activities that are done there." Chloe said.
"I guess I will believe it when I see it. So, is there anything that we need to do here?" Lois asked.
"No. Not as of right now." Oliver said as he went to change into his Green Arrow suit. "I am going out and patrol for a while. Feel free to join me."
"I think we will do that." Clark said as he and Lois changed quickly so that they could join Oliver.

Later that night, the three heroes were back at Oliver's apartment after their patrol. They hadn't seen much while they were out, which was a good thing. That would give them more time to come up with a plan for Lex.
"Nothing new on Lex?" Clark asked Chloe.
"Not since the last time you guys asked. We all knew this was going to be a slow go Clark. You just need to be patient." Chloe said.
"I know. I just have a feeling that something bad is coming. This feeling won't leave me alone until Lex is behind bars." Clark said.
"We will get this over with soon, Smallville. Now, why don't we go home and get some sleep. We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow." Lois said.
"Sounds good to me. I could really use some sleep. It might help me get my mind off of all of this." Clark said as he and Lois took off into the sky heading for the Kent Farm.
