A few weeks later, the team was meeting up at Oliver's penthouse so that they could discuss what they needed to do once Doomsday came back, because they knew that he would at some point in the future. They had a few ideas, but they knew that it would have to be something permanent. The most likely of their ideas to work was that Clark, Lois, and Kara would throw the beast into the sun. They didn't think that even this beast would be able to live through that, so it was the best way to go in their opinion.

"So, this is what we are going with? Flying him off Earth and throwing him into the sun?" Oliver asked.

"Yeah, I think it is our best option. From what I have learned about this thing, it is even more indestructible than any of us Kryptonians, so I don't know if anything on earth can kill it." Clark said.

"Well, I am going to have a suit made that can allow me to help you guys with that. You might need all the help you can get. I will make one for the rest of the team as well." Oliver said.

"That is a good idea. If one of us gets thrown off then there will be someone there to take our place until we can get back to the beast." Lois said.

"Ok, so I think we have discussed everything that we need to. For those of you who are not here. I want you to send me your measurements so that I can make your suits. Otherwise, keep your cities safe and I will be in touch when that thing finally comes back." Oliver said and all of the screens went blank as the other team members signed off.

"So, do you really think this will work?" Oliver asked the teammates who were there.

"I don't know for sure, but I think it is our best option. I don't know of any way that we can beat him here, unless we bury it or something like that." Clark said.

"We might need to look into that option. It might be safer than trying to fly out to the sun." Chloe said as she interjected her thoughts into the conversation.

"We will think on that and if anything comes up, we will bring it up to the whole team and see what they think." Oliver said and then the rest of the team nodded because they knew that it was a good idea to have a backup plan or even a better plan than the first one.

"Alright, sounds like a plan. If we are done here, I have plans." Kara said

"Nothing else is on the agenda for tonight, so go on and have some fun." Oliver said as Kara flew out of his apartment so that she could go home and get ready for her date. She and Lucy had been on quite a few dates with the guys they had met in class a few weeks ago and everything seemed to be going good for both of them.

"I think we can head out as well. Give us a call if anything comes up that you need our help with." Clark said as he and Lois flew out of the building as well, just leaving Oliver, Chloe, and Jimmy there.

. . .

Clark and Lois got home just in time to see Kara and Lucy getting ready to leave with their dates. "So, what do you four have planned for the night?" Lois asked.

"We are going to have dinner at that Italian place in town and then we are going to see a movie." Ben, Kara's date said.

"Sounds like a good time. What are you going to see?" Clark asked.

"We are going to see Iron Man. It looks like it is going to be good, and from what I heard it might lead to other Marvel movies being made and then that will lead to an Avengers movie, which would be awesome." Chase, Lucy's date said.

"You know, that would be interesting. I had always wondered why they had never done that with any of the old Marvel films that had been made. I guess they weren't at the same studio or something, because I know that Spiderman is with Sony and the Xmen are with Fox, so I guess I can see where that could be difficult to do." Lois said.

"You seem to know a lot about movies. Maybe you two should join us." Ben said.

"Sorry, but we aren't going to come along and ruin your date. Let us know how it is and we might go and catch it at some point while it is still in theaters." Lois said and then the four younger adults walked to their car and left for their date.

"You know, I really like those guys. I hope they don't mess things up with the girls." Clark said.

"I know what you mean, Smallville. So, what do you want to do tonight?" Lois asked.

"We haven't had a Guitar Hero Challenge lately." Clark said and Lois' eyes lit up at the mention of Guitar Hero. They had not played since before she got her powers.

"You are on Kent. I will beat you like I always do." Lois said.

"I don't know about that Lois. You do know that I used to take it easy on you right. Now I can use my powers and actually beat you fair and square." Clark said.

"Oh, you are so on Clark. I will show you that it was no fluke that I beat you all of those times." Lois said as she went and hooked up the game system so that they could begin the challenge as soon as possible.

"Are we going to do any bets on this?" Clark asked.

"Of course. Everytime I win you have to take off an item of clothing every time." Lois said.

"Deal. If I win, you have to do the things that you do that I like so much at least three times before the sun comes up in the morning." Clark said.

"Deal. Let's get this started." Lois said as the challenge started and at the end of the challenge it seemed like Clark was right because he didn't hold back and this time he actually won the challenge.
