The next morning Clark and Lois woke up and smiled at each other before getting out of bed and getting ready for their day. They didn't have much to do since it was the weekend, so they put on casual clothes and made their way downstairs for breakfast.

"Smallville, I hope you are happy now. I did that thing that you like more than just three times like you had planned." Lois said with a smile.

"Oh, I am happy. You didn't have to do the extra times though. That was totally on you." Clark said.

"I know. I just figured, why not?" Lois said.

"I wonder how the girl's date went last night" Clark asked so that they could change the subject.

"I don't know. I don't remember hearing them come in, but I was a bit busy, so I might have just tuned it out." Lois said.

"Probably so, or at least I hope that is what it is. I won't like those boys as much anymore if the girls didn't make it home last night." Clark said.

"I know what you mean. I know Lucy knows these things, but I still like to look after her." Lois said.

"Well, my situation is kind of weird because technically Kara is older than me, so I hate having to tell her what to do." Clark said.

"Yeah, that is weird. I am glad that I don't have to deal with that." Lois said.

"So, what do you want to do today?" Clark asked.

"I have no plans. I would like to call Oliver and tell him to do all the patrolling today so that I can have some kind of a break for the first time in a while." Lois said.

"I think we can arrange that, though we will have to be on call in case it is something that Oliver and the others can't take care of themselves." Clark said.

"I can agree with that. It has just been so long since we have had any time off from either work or the superhero gig." Lois said.

"I know. So, do you have anything that you want to do today?" Clark asked.

"Just stay around here and relax. Other than that, I am fine with whatever." Lois said as she walked into the living room and turned on the television.

. . .

Later that morning, Lucy and Kara walked down the stairs and saw that Clark and Lois were in the living room watching television. This was not a sight that they were used to. Most of the time, even on the weekend, Clark and Lois were both already out of the house by this time of day.

"What are you two doing here?" Lucy asked.

"Taking a day to relax. We were getting burned out with work and the superhero stuff." Lois said.

"That's good that you are taking a day off. Who is looking after things in Metropolis?" Kara asked.

"Oliver said that he would take care of it. He said that he would let you have the day off as well, but you are first on call if anything happens that the rest of them can't handle." Clark said.

"Not a problem. Thanks for letting me know." Kara said.

"So, how was the date last night?" Lois asked her sister.

"It was great. I'm really starting to like this guy." Lucy said.

"That's great. So, when is your next date?" Lois asked.

"Next weekend. We are both busy with classes, so we won't be able to do anything until then." Lucy said and Lois nodded.

"What about you Kara?" Clark asked.

"I had fun. It is good to do something different other than school and superhero work every once in a while." Kara said.

"Will you be going on another date with this guy?" Lois asked.

"I like him so yeah, I think so." Kara said.

"Good. So, what do you girls have planned for the day?" Clark asked.

"Not much. I think it is going to be a day to relax for the most part. Might try to find something to do tonight though." Kara said.

"Sounds good. Would you like to join us watching this movie we just started?" Lois asked.

"Yeah, that would be great." Lucy said as she and Kara sat down to watch the movie with their family.

. . .

Later in the day, Kara decided that she wanted to learn how to play Guitar Hero since she had heard so much about the game. Lois was the one teaching her how to play since she had made it clear that she was in charge of this. Clark just shook his head and let her do what she wanted to do.

Once it looked like Kara had a grasp of what was going on with the game, Lois picked up the second guitar and they began to compete. Kara was holding her own, but Lois always ended up winning. After a while Kara said that she was going to play one more time and then she was done. Clark called next.

"Oh, no you don't Smallville. I am not playing you again. I am still worn out from you winning the bet last night." Lois said.

"This sounds interesting. What was the bet?" Lucy asked.

"Probably better that you don't know the answer to that." Clark said and Lucy nodded understanding what he meant.

"I understand. I don't want to know about your sex life." Lucy said and Kara nodded in agreement.

"I will play you Lois." Lucy said.

"Good. I need to win as many times as possible after the amount of times that I lost last night." Lois said.

"How many times did you lose?" Kara asked.

"Ten. It was not fun." Lois said.

"You just take this too far Lois. It is just a game, but you have to win at everything." Clark said.

"Hey, I can't help it that I am competitive." Lois said.

"Sometimes, too competitive." Lucy said.

"Ok, I can agree with that." Lois said as they all laughed and went on having fun for the rest of the day.
