The team was meeting in Oliver's penthouse the next day and Clark, Lois and Kara were telling them all about Zod. "So, we have a rogue Kryptonian General on earth and we aren't going to just take him out?" Oliver asked.
"We can't do that yet. He doesn't have powers and if we take him out, the rest of his followers will turn against us and this world as well. What we can do right now is just keep an eye out for all of these people and make sure they don't cause too much trouble." Clark said.
"I get where you're coming from, Boyscout. I don't like it, but I get it." Oliver said.
"So, what do you need me to do?" Chloe asked.
"Look around the world for anything that would show how all of these people got here. Then track the people if you can." Clark said.
"Ok. I will let you know if I find anything." Chloe said as she got to work.
"So, is the meeting over?" Black Canary asked from her screen.
"Yeah, we will let you know if we need your help with anything." Oliver said and Black Canary logged off.
"I think we need to recruit some more members. We already have AC, Bart, Dinah, and Victor. It would be a really big help if we had more people." Lois said.
"It would help out. Chloe, look out for some more people who show up around the country that show that they could be heroes. Let us know what you find." Clark said and Chloe got to work on that as well.
"Ok, That is all for tonight. Check in if you find anything weird, Bart, AC, and Victor." Oliver said and the heroes nodded and signed off.
"Well, we will see you later, Oliver. I think we are going to head home. Chloe, do you need a ride?" Lois asked.
"Nope. I am going to do some more work here and then I will head home in a little bit." Chloe said as Lois, Clark and Kara nodded and then flew towards Smallville.
. . .
Ever since Lucy had moved in with Lois and Clark, she had decided that she wanted to get training in some martial arts so that she could take care of herself like Lois used to be able to before she turned into a Kryptonian. She wanted to be sure she was never in a situation when she was alone and couldn't protect herself. She was working on her moves when Lois, Clark and Kara entered the farmhouse.
"Hey guys. Glad you are home. I made dinner." Lucy said.
"Lois, she isn't like you when it comes to cooking, is she?" Clark asked.
"Watch it Smallville, and no she is a very good cook. I don't know why she is so much better than me, but she is." Lois said.
"Well, I am looking forward to trying whatever it is that you made." Kara said.
"Looks like you are working on your moves. Show me what you know." Lois said and Lucy started going through all of the moves that she knew and Lois couldn't help but be impressed since her sister was moving with a lot of grace and fluidity.
"You are doing great Lucy. So, what was the plan with learning martial arts?" Lois asked.
"I just want to make sure that I can look out for myself if I'm ever alone and someone tries anything." Lucy said.
"That is a smart move. Keep working at it. No one will mess with you if you get good enough at it." Clark said.
"That is the plan. Maybe I could finally beat up Lois if she didn't have superpowers." Lucy said.
"Don't let that head get to big Lucy. That would never happen anyways." Lois said with a smile and Lucy couldn't help but smile either.
"So, what is for dinner anyways?" Clark asked.
"I don't do much, so I just made a couple of homemade pizzas. I hope that is ok." Lucy said.
"It is more than ok. We all love pizza. I am glad that it won't go to my body anymore like it used to though." Lois said.
"Yeah, you are lucky." Lucy said with a pout.
"Well, let's eat and then maybe Lois can work with you on some sparring or something like that." Clark said and Lois nodded because she wanted to help her sister out as much as she could.
"I would like that. Thanks." Lucy said as they all sat down and ate.
. . .
Once Lucy and Lois were done sparring, which was a fair fight since Clark had given Lois a piece of blue kryptonite, they all sat around and just talked for a while longer.
"So Lucy, how is school going?" Clark asked.
"It is going well. I am glad that I decided to come and live with you guys and get my education. It probably wouldn't have happened otherwise." Lucy said.
"You don't think dad would have helped you out?" Lois asked.
"He probably would have just signed me up for the military if I had just stayed with him. I don't think that would have been the right fit for me." Lucy said.
"No, that probably would have been more like me." Lois said and Lucy nodded because she knew that Lois would have made it fine in the military.
"What about you Kara?" Lois asked.
"Everything is fine. I am enjoying school and things are still going strong with my boyfriend." Kara said.
"Good. I am glad everything is going good for you right now. What about your boyfriend, Lucy?" Clark asked.
"Everything is going well with him. We have a double date with Kara and her boyfriend this weekend." Lucy said.
"That's great. I hope everything goes well for the both of you then." Clark said.
"Thanks." Lucy and Kara said at the same time.
"Well, Clark and I have to be up early for work tomorrow, so we are going to head up to bed. We will see the both of you tomorrow night when we get home." Lois said and everyone else said their goodnights as well as Lois and Clark went up to their bedroom to go to sleep.
