Esteban knew he wouldn't be able to stop by Calleigh's place while Caine and his goon investigated so close by. Especially since the good Lieutenant was already on high alert. He eyes her one more time, taking into account the way she repeatedly rubbed her neck and stifled a yawn. I'll have to make sure to let up on the dosages, I can't have her tired like this all the time. That'll catch their attention. He struggles to hold back a frown as Delko reaches his grubby hands over to his Leigh. With another look full of distaste, he heads back to the car. While they're busy here, I'll go pick up a toy to get this energy out, I thought good ol' Marty there would've helped. But seein Delko molest her like this… i need a toy
Horatio watched as Esteban glared at Eric and the "if looks could kill" came across his mind. Listening in on his two senior CSIs he catches part of the conversation.
"Seems to me like you've got yourself an admirer huh?" Eric quips. Calleigh rolls her tired eyes and sneaks a glance at Esteban's retreating form. "It seems like I have. He's been making passes since I interrogated him a while back" her voice sounded bored and uninterested. But Eric, he was clearly bothered by the way his eyebrows scrunch up. "You be careful Cal, okay? I don't like this." she gives him a small smile, her tired eyes lighting up for the first time today, and nods. "I'll keep an eye out for anything suspicious. While this looks like a crime of opportunity, it is still spooky seeing how close this happened to my home."
Horatio smiled at the two of them, only Eric could bring out this side of his Bullet Girl. she was relaxed around him enough to show a soft side. Loman arriving distracts him for the moment, but Horatio was still able to catch the look of concern Calleigh sends at Esteban's retreating form.
Esteban on the other hand decides that today was the day to start messing with the good Lieutenant.
