A/N : This is more of a filler chapter to set up the Daphne plot, Next Chapter will focus on Padma and Draco fluff.

Ron Weasley

Ron swore as more files flew onto his desk. They were planning to start a second branch of the Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes. He had been drowning in paperwork for 3 months. There were more forms to be filed, letters to be written and payments to be processed than he could keep track of. He was taking a break when George barged in.

"Slacking off are we?" he jokes

"Sod of' Ron snapped slumping back into his chair. George threw a letter toward him.

"Another idiot who wants to buy us out."

Ron sighed, "Again, They don't seem to get the message, do they?" He asked, It hadn't been the first attempt at buying them out but they had no intention to sell this business any time soon. After Fred's death, His share of the business had been placed in a trust and they had no intention to sell at all.

"I will take care of it." Ron nodded before looking at the letter.

"Blimey! George, This one is trouble." He said.

"It is from The Greengrass Magical Exporters, They are our suppliers and I don't think it wise to just tell them to fuck off with a letter."

"I don't want to meet with them." George snapped, I am not selling this business at all.

" I will take care of it, Let me smooth things over." Ron placated him.

Ron had written back to the Greengrass to set up a meeting. He was sitting in a very posh restaurant in muggle London of all places. It was unusual. The Greengrass was not rabid purebloods but they surely look down on the muggles. Ron wondered if it was meant to be some subtle insult towards his family.

Greengrass arrived right on time. She was in a muggle business suit. He found this odd, He knew that the Greengrass were happy to take money from the muggles but this was rather.

"Greengrass," Ron said getting up awkwardly to greet her. They shook hands before taking seats.

"Muggle London?" He asked

"I thought you would appreciate the privacy." She replied. Ron grimaced, The fans didn't bother him as much as they bothered Harry but it was still annoying

"You have to agree Weasley", She said smiling " This is rather strange isn't it?" She asked

"I would have never imagined that I would be doing business with a Weasly in muggle London." She laughed "But here we are" with a wave.

Ron relaxed a little. " Yes, Never thought I would see a Stuffy rich pureblood in muggle attire either."

She laughed, " Well, now you have seen everything."

"Well, if we are to speak about money. The Greengrass family would like to buy a stake in the Wizarding Wheezes, A minority share, 30% for around a million, we can work out the details later" she said.

"It is a fair offer," Ron paused, "but as I said in the letter we are not interested in selling. This is more than just a business for our family. We are profitable and can self-finance growth. It makes no sense for us to sell shares"

"We are willing to offer around 1.5 Million Galleons for 30%." She responded.

Ron sighed, it was a lot of money, He would have seriously considered this offer if it was just another business but it wasn't. There was no way George will let anyone else own what He and Fred had to build.

"Greengrass, We are not selling, No matter how a number you throw at us." Ron knew it will hurt, Greengrass, will probably push prices and try to squeeze them. Ron had done the maths and they would have to delay their plans for a new store if Greengrass decided to be petty but they were willing to pay the price. However, We are aware that the Greengrass family's involvement will be beneficial for our business, If you can buy shares from other shareholders, we will not stop the transaction."

Ron had thought of a peace offering of sorts, Harry's shares. Most people thought that company was entirely by the Weasley family but Fred and George had given Harry a quarter of the company. Harry needed the money, The Black estates were a wreck and it was one mishap away from bankruptcy but Greengrass didn't need to know that.

"Other shareholders?" Greengrass asked perplexed.

"Harry Potter," Ron said.

'Merlin, That will be fun."

Ron laughed, "As long as he doesn't mistake you for one of the pureblood witches trying to marry him for the Black fortune, I don't think there will be much of an issue."

Daphne grimaced, "I am looking forward to it." She said

Ron had a surprisingly decent time with Greengrass, She loosened up after she realized they weren't going to sell and then instead talked about Quidditch and stories about her father's failed attempt at running a quidditch team.

Daphne Greengrass

She hadn't much from the meeting with the younger Weasley but he had been forceful in letting her know that they wouldn't sell the business.

She was frustrated. She needed a win, It had taken years to convince her dad to give her a small fund to invest in other ventures but if he got a whiff of a good deal, He would barge in and complete it himself and she would get no credit at all for all the legwork she did. She needed to complete this deal without her father finding out about it.

She didn't know how to approach Potter about selling his shares. She regretted crashing his date with Patil now. Patil deserved it but she had to question if Potter would take her seriously. She had to try, she had no other option.
