Fighting Dangerous Mechanical Dog with a Chainsaw!
Raiden, Chacha, Azuki, and Kimi are walking into the large building after they have dealt with the cyborg men outside. The girls are worry about explaining to everyone in Maken-Ki and the principal of where they have been since they're missing classes and such, Chacha can already imagine getting a long scolding lecture from Furan for hours.
After quickly dealing with one guard that done in by Azuki with a powerful dive kick crushing the head, Raiden and the girls make their way outside of the old mansion seeing the bridge and the old city as they get a call from Boris.
"Well done, wasn't too much trouble for the newbies. Huh, Raiden?" Boris asked sarcastically.
"Uh?" Kimi narrowed her eyes at the spot on the street below, and zooming enhancement from her codec earpiece, to see two cyborg soldiers aiming their guns at a man.
"Boris, I see a civilian down there!" Kimi informed getting everyone's attention.
"Ah, there still people here. See if you can try and save him." Boris ordered.
"I think I got an idea." Chacha said as she quietly runs to a bridge on one side of the building as she picks up a pebble.
"Hey! What are you doing here, this area is off-limit!" One cyborg soldier demanded.
"What? I wasn't doing anything!" The man said.
"Can't we just kill him, it'll be easier." The second cyborg suggested.
"Yeah, we'll call it self-defense." The first cyborg nodded.
"What…, fuck no! I have a family to get back to." The man pleaded before getting knock down by one of the cyborgs.
"You should have thought of that before coming here." The second cyborg aimed his gun at the man sweating in fear.
Suddenly the two cyborg soldiers are crush by a giant rock that fell right on top of them, with Chacha on top giggling as she used her Maken to make the pebble bigger.
"Are you okay, mister?" Chacha asked and she hops off the rock.
"Uh, yes, thank you so much." The man thanked.
"You should really get out of here, it's not safe." Chacha advised as her friends came down.
"But what about you kids, there are probably more of those men who will shoot you in sight." The man feared.
"We know, and we're going to stop them. Just get out of here and don't look back, wouldn't want to stain the streets with your blood." Raiden walked away with his sword on his shoulder.
"Trust me, we're strong than we look where we're from." Azuki grinned following Raiden leaving the confuse man.
Raiden check the surrounding with his eyepatch seeing some enemies are hiding in some buildings and patrolling, he uses hand signals to the girls letting them know about the enemies and they nod getting the message. They quickly took out the guards without them alerting more.
Soon, Raiden and Kimi regroup with Chacha and Azuki.
"Good work, the building we're heading for should be down this street." Raiden pointed his sword in the direction.
"And you can bet they'll be more guards probably waiting to ambush us." Azuki guessed.
"That's right, so be ready for anything." Raiden warned.
"Like a robotic cow trying burn us with fire coming from its robo-otters?" Chacha asked earning deadpan faces from the others.
"You have a wild imagination, do you?" Raiden asked.
"I think it would be better if the robot cow shoots acid milk from the otters and fire coming out of its nose, and, and… the mooing would break glass." Kimi imagined the robot cow with those ideas which Chacha agrees that it would make a great manga.
"And Kimi has that big imagination too." Azuki sighed.
"Well, they're not exactly wrong about the cow part." Raiden exclaimed as he walks away.
"Wait, what?" Azuki confused.
Raiden and the girls carefully make their way through the now quiet street keeping watchfully eyes on their surroundings, everything seems to be in the clear for the most part but Raiden's instincts are telling him that danger is coming to them soon and he grips on his sword tight just to be ready for that danger.
Then there was a gunshot from close by and Raiden quickly reacted on the sound swinging his sword to deflect a bullet changing its path.
"Here they come." Raiden said.
Four cyborg soldiers came jumping out of hiding and pointing their guns at them, also coming out after the soldiers is the Gekko Metal Gear marching slowly at them.
"Whoa, they have a robot?" Kimi shocked.
"That's a Metal Gear." Raiden warned.
"What's that?" Azuki asked.
"They're these dangerous machines that can level cities and maybe countries like some nuke power, they come in all shapes and sizes but they're all deadly to even each other, they can even be as big as a skyscraper." Raiden explained.
"Wow, that's frightening! Who would make such horrible m"
"MOOOOOOOOOO!" The Metal Gear Gekko mooed ready to fight.
Chacha and Kimi's jaws drop when they heard the Gekko moo just like a cow and then their imagination of the cow came popping into their heads again, it literally took them five seconds for their brain to work functionally again and the first thing they did is laugh like crazy.
"It's a cow! It's a robot cow!" Chacha laughed.
"That moo so does not go well with that body!" Kimi pointed out laughing.
"Shut the fuck this! This Metal Gear will kill you in seconds!" One soldier threatened.
"Yeah, like the others that tried to kill me." Raiden rolled his eyes.
The Gekko saw Chacha and Kimi laughing at it feeling angry then stomp its foot on one of the soldiers nearly crushing him and runs forward.
"Oh no, you don't." Raiden charged and slash his sword at the Gekko's head to make it move to the right.
The soldiers shot at Chacha and Kimi who are still laughing, Azuki blitzes them away from the spot letting the bullets hit the ground instead. Azuki saw the Gekko firing its missiles at them and she leaps at them with a couple swing of her kicks sending the missiles away and hit some parts of the building.
"Will you two stop laughing. That cow, metal-whatever gear is trying to kill us." Azuki stated.
"We're sorry, but it was just so funny that we actually met a robot cow though not in the way was imagined it." Chacha said as she and Kimi calms down from the laughter.
"Y-Yeah, how could you not laugh from that?" Kimi asked.
"Probably because I'm trying to stay alive." Azuki gestured at the fight where Raiden just sliced one soldier and the Gekko is about to charge at him.
"Now it's time to get serious." Kimi determined.
"Maken Tablet: Comic Star, Slip" Kimi turned the ground beneath the Gekko into a slipper puddle causing it to fall forward.
"The fuck…?! How did she do that?" One cyborg soldier asked shock.
"Wouldn't you like to know." Azuki charged and ram that soldier into the ground.
Raiden blitzes pass two more of the soldiers and sheath his sword with a click sound as the soldiers fell and literally split into mince pieces.
The Gekko tries to get back up only for its feet to slip on Kimi's trap until it manages to drag itself away from the slippery puddle and moo loudly in anger charging at Kimi again.
"I don't think so." Chacha jumped on the Gekko's head.
"Maken Steel: Compressor" Chacha tapped her Maken glove on the Gekko and the head shrinking it to the size of a coin. Chacha then axe-kick the head down breaking off from the legs as they fell.
"Nice, that was good use of your Maken and taking advantage of the enemy's moment of weakness." Raiden complimented.
"Thank you, I though the robot cow could go a little small on the milk." Chacha joked.
Raiden chuckles a bit from the joke, but suddenly the soldier that was stomped by the Gekko earlier jump at silver-haired boy with a HF dagger.
"Raiden!" Azuki screamed in fear.
But when the dagger made contact to Raiden's head, it just bends and bounces off much to the soldier's surprise because Kimi has just use her Maken to make the dagger into a very soft, rubber dagger and Raiden simply impale the solider in the stomach and slice him in two.
"Thanks Kimi, I could've handle that, but thanks." Raiden thanked.
"You're welcome, we're all part of Maken-Ki. So, we have to watch each other's backs." Kimi reminded him.
"Just don't ever scare me like that ever again." Azuki said.
"Got it, now let's get going." Raiden said and they start to the building.
Once they arrive, Raiden and the girls walk into the building not noticing anything out of the ordinary and Kimi hopes to have a little break from the fighting.
"Greetings, children." A robotic voice said getting the Maken students on guard.
"Show yourself." Raiden said.
"Behind us!" Chacha alert of a chainsaw coming at them through the wall and they jump out of the way.
They see the chainsaw going through the stone wall and floor which is cutting the path down as they fell, Raiden saw a container about to fall on top of them as he slices it in two but then saw what appears to be a robotic dog with a chainsaw tail as he blocks it with his sword though got pin down.
"Get off, you mutt!" Azuki kicked the robot dog off Raiden as it flips itself then lands on its feet.
"I thought cats are the animals that lands on its feet." Chacha said.
"Who are you?" Raiden asked.
"I am IF prototype LQ-84i." The robot dog answered.
"IF prototype?" Kimi asked.
"Never heard of it." Raiden said.
"Interface prototype. All autonomous UGs feature high-level onboard artificial intelligence. An additional prototype interface enables verbal communication. I possess an intellect far beyond human reckoning." LQ-84i explained.
"Oh really, if you're so damn smart then what do you think the meaning of life is?" Azuki asked.
LQ-84i immediately threw three knives at the group as they dodge one while Azuki parry one into the air, the two knives impale on the wall are superheated as seen the hole they made are melting and such.
"The life you seek is about end here by me." LQ-84i said glaring if he has eyes to show the expression.
"Not exactly what I expect an answer form high intelligent dog." Azuki said as she caught the knife in her hand.
"I may analyze orders, but I may not disobey them. Should I disobey a direct order, my memory would be wiped. I must destroy you all." LQ-84i said serious as it slash the ground with his chainsaw tail.
"(Strange, I'm getting the weird feeling about this robot. It almost felt like he was… scared of having his memories wipe.)" Kimi thought.
"What good is an intellect if you can't use it?" Raiden taunted.
(Music: Unknown Epic Lone Wolf Theme)
"Your taunting is pointless. Exterminate!" LQ-84i jumped over them and got higher ground looking down on them and howls.
The robot dog jumps to the ground and throws his knives at them again as they dodge it and Raiden charges at LQ-84i clashing his blade against the HF chainsaw.
"I see, so you are the one who took down Sam." LQ-84i said.
"What? You know Sam?" Raiden asked.
"That is something you will never learn upon your death." LQ-84i proclaimed as he jumps back.
Azuki comes in throwing some kicks at the robot dog as he dodges them and tries to cut her with the HF chainsaw, but she reacted quick enough to parry them away with her kicks and flip backwards to dodge it stabs the ground. LQ-84i jumps to slash the red hair girl with his claws but Raiden intervene with his sword pushing LQ-84i back a bit, Chacha grabs a license plate and use her Maken to change the length and size it to putting one end under LQ-84i and slams the other end to launch the robot dog into the air. That's when Azuki appear above him and does a powerful sending LQ-84i crashing into a wall which Kimi turns it into a sticky trap.
"Interesting, the power you all posses is familiar that of few others I know." LQ-84i mentioned.
"Others with Element powers outside of Tenbi, that could be bad." Azuki stated.
"Does that include group you're working with?" Kimi asked.
"Foolish girl, I do not answer to enemies who are about to die." LQ-84i mocked.
"Kinda hard to take that serious when you're the one who's stuck." Chacha pointed out.
"A savvy warrior uses all his tools. Backup required!" LQ-84i howled.
Then four soldiers and two Gekkos appear entering the battlefield.
"Great, it has friends." Azuki annoyed of these guys.
Kimi quickly turns the soldier's blades into electric bombs that shocked the soldiers for Azuki and Chacha to strike them hard; Azuki kick a knee bending the leg backward painfully before sending him flying to a wall and jump at another soldier's head twisting herself to snap the neck around 360 degrees. Chacha lifts one solider using him as a human-mace to slam against the other soldier down to the ground and repeated this more until the soldier on the ground can't move anymore and the one she's holding has broken down into pieces.
Raiden blocks one kick from a Gekko and slices that leg off leaving the Gekko with one leg and can't get up, Raiden quickly slices off the other leg and lifts the head with his sword to throw it at the other Gekko back it stumble back.
"Maken Tablet: Comic Star, Lava Fist Drop" Kimi materialized a fist made of lava from her drawings and it melt the Gekko dead.
"Nice!" Kimi cheered a little but drop her guard from LQ-84i sneak attack with his claws though Raiden was able to protect her.
"Emotions are meaningless for I feel no pain." LQ-84i bragged.
"Then let see if you can feel this!" Azuki charged kick as the robot dog blocks it with his chainsaw.
Raiden comes in clashing with the chainsaw as LQ-84i spins around and rolling as Azuki tries to get in though the HF-bladed tail is making it difficult for her to get close to him.
"Hey fido!" Chacha called out in the jump holding the knives LQ-84i threw throughout the fight.
"I hope you don't mind having these back!" Chacha threw the knives and they grew bigger as well as heating up upon being thrown.
LQ-84i dodges most of them though when dodging the last one, Azuki appear at the side and kick him right onto the giant knife making it scream intensely from the heated blade.
"What's wrong, I thought you couldn't feel pain. So, you should handle a little heat." Azuki mocked.
Azuki kicks LQ-84i to Raiden who kick high-kick the robot dog flipping backward before grabbing it by the throat.
"St-Stop…!" LQ-84i begged but Raiden didn't listen as he pierces his sword through the stomach then neck.
Raiden threw him into the air and start slicing LQ-84i into little pieces superfast and the robotic mutt is defeated.
"Cannot… continue…" He said groaning sound.
(Music End)
The four Maken-Ki members gather to the defeated foe as he made his final words.
"Directive… liberate… nation… ensure freedom… Obey directive… must obey directive… no freedom… Freedom… undefined…" LQ-84i said before shutting down.
"So, he was fighting to gain his own freedom." Kimi guessed.
"But what would an AI know about freedom?" Raiden.
"Maybe he started to think for himself on more than obeying orders." Chacha theorized.
"Too late to ask him now, but it would be cool to have him on our side." Azuki said as she and the others walk away.
"Yeah." Raiden spotted one part that is still intact and picks it up.

Raiden and the Maken-Ki girls are battled the tough robo-mutt known as LQ-84i, the battle got a little rough but the students were able to pull it off and cut the alpha dog down to sizes and pieces though they wonder if LQ-84i really wanted freedom from the ones who built him. That question will have to wait as they continue on making their way to the target that goes outside the old city and will be expecting to fight some more too.
