The Beauty of the Sakura

All alone everyone is asleep and Inuyasha left with Keade. I take my supplies and walk over to the hot springs. I take off my clothes very slowly, and go into the warm water. I stay there for a half an hour thinking. I put my clothing back on and wander into the woods.

I want to get over Sesshomaru, and like Inuyasha. I only see Inuyasha as a brother though. I pick up an Sakura flower and recite my daily ritual again, hoping for one result.

"He likes me, he likes me not, he likes me, he likes me not," I muttered.

Down to the last petal. "he likes me," I whisper happily.

"Little miko," I hear his voice whisper, this voice haunts me.

"You know Inuyasha does like you," he whispers, as I frown. "So odd little miko, I thought you wanted him, but I can tell by that shy smile you gave me, and that nerviousness you want -no- love me."

He says "Go to my brother." My legs and heart won't let me though.

"Stubborn little miko, huh." I hear him for the first time laugh.

"He likes you not, he loves you, yes."

Then he does something so surprising he kisses me. In such a sweet, yet passionate way and steals my first kiss.

Oh how I love and admire Sakura flowers!
