A/N: Hey all, it's been a while since I last did an A/N. Just wanted to say sorry for the short and maybe meaningless chapters, I've been struggling to write for a little bit now, but I'm finally getting my mojo back, and I really want to start making chapters as long as they were at the start of this story (6000-7000 words).
That's all I wanted to say besides thank you all for the amazing support on this story. Love you all, and I hope you enjoy chapter 34!
With the end of their first day at the dorms coming to an end, Izuku had wanted to take a walk around the brand-new campus and take a little break from the noise and excitement of the new building. Thankfully, no-one other than All Might had come to pay him a visit, and now the two were enjoying a casual evening stroll.
"How are you feeling my boy?" All Might asked softly as the Greenette and himself walked away from class 1-A's dorm and down the long empty road.
"Better." Izuku replied plainly. "It's hard getting used to this brace though." He added, rolling up his hoodie sleeve to reveal the black compression sleeve, not that All Might hadn't already seen it.
"It will be, but it will do you a lot of good in the long run." The blonde-haired hero responded with a smile. Izuku nodded, pulling his sleeve back down and putting his hands into his pockets.
"Do you know what the villains were looking for?" Izuku asked suddenly. All Might looked surprised by the suddenness of the question, but quickly relaxed, his expression turning a little more thoughtful.
"Honestly, I don't know for sure, but I feel like I have a good idea." The Pro-Hero said after a few moments. Izuku raised an eyebrow curiously, to which All Might let out a sigh.
"Now, obviously this might not be the case, but I think they have intentions of bringing back All For One." He muttered. Izuku felt his heart fall a little, and his feet go cold. In his condition, All Might wasn't in any position to be facing All For One, and with Izuku still recovering from heavy injuries, let alone not even being close to strong enough, he couldn't do anything against the villain either.
"Do you really think so? But then… Why would I be on their kill list? They can't know about... Us... Can they? Because there were other students on that list too." Izuku said, lowering his voice a little. All Might let out a thoughtful sound and screwed up his face a little, rubbing his cheek anxiously.
"No. I highly doubt they know anything about us. In all honestly, that so-called 'kill list' is just as confusing and scary to me as it must be for all of you. None of you are strong enough to take him on alone, so it wasn't because you posed a threat to him..." All Might thought. Izuku didn't like thinking about this sort of thing, especially since it was all he'd been thinking about over the weekend.
"I think it's because, if we all fought him together, we could have a chance at win. So, they targeted those of us who have been shown as 'the strongest'." Izuku suggested, trying to bring the conversation to an end. It seemed to work. All Might made a sound of approval at the theory, and returned his large hands to his pockets, sighing.
"What will we be doing work-wise?" Izuku changed the topic quite quickly. He didn't like thinking about the villains and all the stress of what they were planning.
"First thing tomorrow morning will be a whole school assembly, welcoming you to the dorms and running you through the rules. After that, I think will be in-class studies with Mr Aizawa. Tomorrow however, we're returning to U.S.J." All Might explained, a small grin creeping onto his already joyous looking face.
"P-Please don't tell me there will be more robots..." Izuku muttered, stopping in his tracks and staring up at All Might with a pleading expression. The hero let out a loud and hearty laugh before clapping his large hands together.
"There might be, young Midoriya, there just might be. However, I can't tell you what we'll be doing just yet. I promise you will all be very excited once you find out." All Might beamed. Izuku stuttered to get his words out for a moment, before quickly giving up altogether, and returning the smile.
"Yes Sir." Izuku smiled, letting his enthusiasm show through the days of dread and worry, jogging to catch up to All Might before the two of them began walking side by side.
He'd be lying if he said he wasn't dead excited to get back to school and into training, but after having these dark thoughts festering in his mind for a few days, it was hard to simply brush them away.
Mina had been laying in her bed, staring at the ceiling for almost fifteen minutes now, and only one thought had circulated around in her mind in that time. Why. Why did Izuku wait so long to tell her about everything he'd been dealing with; about All For One, about him and All Might, about what really happened to him as a child. Every day she worried for him because she knew, whether it was from a villain, or even from overusing his quirk, Izuku was in danger.
Now, with the attack on the training camp still fresh in everyone's minds, all she could think of was the mention of All For One, and Izuku's run-in with Shigaraki at the mall. He had so much more on his plate than anyone would ever realise, and due to the confidentiality of the entire thing, he was forced to deal with it and only have a small handful of people as his supports.
He had to lie to everyone he cared about to keep them safe, but what did that mean for him? Mina couldn't bear it, and sometimes she wondered if she would only get in his way. He had a lot to strive for, and maybe she was just going to stop him from doing that. Or maybe it's just her insecurities talking; the fear of making his life even harder than it already was, even though she knew she helped with the stress he had on his shoulders.
He probably already knew that things were now a little more stressful for Mina after hearing all that'd happened, but nothing he did or could do would ease this stress. None of it was directly caused by Izuku, but by the things going on in the background of this timid teen's life. If she could, she'd let herself get dragged into any of his messes if it meant he'd be better off at the end, but he would never let her do that.
She trusted him so much, but the thought of more harm coming to him was almost physically painful. She always intended to stick it out with him, and that ideal remains steadfast in her mind, but the shock from after the attack was still strong in her mind.
The feeling of watching her boyfriend, seemingly inches from death was one feeling she would never forget, and as much as she wanted to forget about it, she simply couldn't. Izuku had been a little distant today too, muttering almost silently to himself and getting caught in daydreams quite often. Right now, all she wanted was his uninterrupted attention and she wanted to give him that same, but he seemed to have a little too much on his mind for that.
Then, a knock at the door brought her from her thoughts, and she sat up on her bed.
"Mina? It's me... Toru and Momo said you looked a little down. Can I come in?" It was Izuku's voice that a spoke up. Soft and gentle to her ears, almost instantly easing the twisting feeling she had inside her.
"Yeah." She responded, smiling a little and watching as the door to her room slowly opened, and revealed Izuku standing there, still dressed in the same army-green hoodie, black shirt and jeans he'd been wearing all day. His cheeks were a little flushed from the cold outside, but he still looked so warm.
"Are you okay?" He asked, gently closing the door behind him as he made his way inside, strolling over to her bed and perching himself just beside her.
"I'm..." Mina started, before quickly stopping herself. He would see straight through the simple 'I'm fine' card, and this was something she wanted to talk to him about anyway, so there was no point lying to him.
"I don't know... I'm really worried about you." She said with a sigh, lowering her head as she rested up against the head of her bed, moving over so Izuku could properly sit up beside her.
"What are you worried about?" He questioned.
"You... Everything that's going on with you." Mina responded quickly. "Now I know you've been passed All Might's quirk, and you could have to face one of the strongest villains the world's ever seen, how else should I feel?" She asked rhetorically, keeping her voice quiet so no-one could overhear. Izuku didn't say anything to her. The look on his face said that he'd been suspecting this all along.
"I want you to have a normal life like you first told me you had. A little trouble from Bakugo here and there would even be fine - nothing we can't deal with... But this is so much more than I could've imagined." She vented. Izuku's expression fell a little, and he let out a long and troubled sigh.
"I never meant to drag you into my mess Mina... I really didn't... I just couldn't bear hiding it from you anymore-." He started, before she cut him off, grabbing his hands tightly and looking straight into his forest green eyes, her amber suns staring right through him.
"That's the problem! You haven't dragged me into this mess at all! I want you to take me by the hands and throw me into this mess with you. You're my boyfriend, and I want to go through every fire of hell with you." She exclaimed, passion in every word.
"Please Midori... Please, don't keep pushing yourself to deal with this shit on your own. Anything that happens, I want to help you, and deal with it with you. That will make me feel so much happier than you trying to keep me out of these kinds of things." She pleaded. Izuku stared at her, trying to process everything she'd said.
"I honestly don't think you really understand just how extreme things are sometimes." Izuku started. Mina was taken aback by the severity in Izuku's tone, but she didn't say anything else, quietly listening.
"I don't want your life on the line if something serious happens that involves All Might and I." He added, softening his tone a little.
"It's not your responsibility. All I want is your you to treat me like your girlfriend and let me share this burden with you. I want to make your life easier… Not harder…" She cried, tearing up a little as she pleaded the greenette desperately. Izuku shifted uncomfortably. She could see this was making him uncomfortable, but it was too important of a matter to leave alone.
"Izuku... Please." She whispered, almost silently. He looked away from her, his grip on her hand loosening as he sighed.
"I can't face putting you in harm's way, Mina... You've never made anything hard for me. I don't even think my life is hard how things are! I love my life!... But if this is really what you want, then okay... I won't keep anything from you, no matter how dire it is." He said, pausing for a moment before finally giving in to her request.
Immediately she felt the creeping shadow of dread that had been lurching over her shoulders, fade into nothing but a shred of anxiety in her stomach. Izuku looked like he'd lost something, and his face was saddened and upset.
"Midori... Together we'll be stronger, right? Just think of how amazing, and easy things will be with someone else in your corner. I will fight everyone one of your fights right by your side. I promise you." Mina said softly, interlocking her fingers with his and wrapping his hand in her own.
"I love you Midori, and I never want you to face these things alone again. Okay?" She asked with a smile. Izuku sat there quietly, looking down at the duvet with a desolate expression, before closing his eyes and nodding.
"Alright. Just... Don't be reckless." He requested, looking up to her from the corner of his eye, a small grin on his face. Mina smiled back and nodded enthusiastically, before throwing her arms around his neck and pulling him down onto her bed, holding him close beside her and lifting her leg over his, pinning him, although not very well.
"I love you too." He added quietly. Mina felt her heart flutter a little and the smile on her face grew even wider. Just like when they first met, his face became even more flushed with embarrassment, but he looked happy, and that warmed her insides a little more.
"Say... Midori..." Mina started, her voice falling a little. Izuku frowned curiously, quietly, and nervously swallowing saliva as he rolled over to face her, looking deep into her sclera eyes.
"Kiss me." She requested suddenly. The assertiveness her alone was surprising, but what she'd said only made Izuku even more nervous, and the butterflies that had been dormant in his stomach quickly awoke.
"W-What?" He asked.
"Kiss me... You know, with your mouth?" She joked, although the greenette was unsure as to whether she was actually joking. It seemed the descriptiveness of what she'd said had really triggered the anxiety in Izuku, and he turned bright red. "It's been a while since we really kissed right? So, y'know..." She added, obviously beginning to feel a little awkward.
Izuku took a deep breath and swallowed again, firing a glance at Mina's lips. They looked so strangely enticing, their warmer pink colour and the way they slightly shone in the moonlight, it was both nerve-racking and exciting.
She had a similar feeling, but it was arguably stronger. She'd been longing to really kiss Izuku again for a long time. After the last time they kissed at Momo's, Mina had wanted to do it again. Izuku's slightly fruity scent from his shower gel was amazing, and the warmth of his body, even though his hands were still somewhat cold, was exciting.
His soft hair felt good as she gently caressed it, its faint minty smell mixing with the fruity scent of his body. The way he held her, being the nervous wreck he always was, felt protective, and safe, like being wrapped in a thermal hammock in the highest of trees, out of harm's way. She wanted, no, she needed him to kiss her, to finally sum up some courage and do it.
Slowly he shifted his face ever closer to. Gently touching his still cold nose against hers, before moving in and finally allowing their lips to make contact. Almost as soon as this had happened, Mina melted into his arms, relaxing as he very gently pressed their lips together. This lasted a few seconds before he pulled away. Mina opened her heavy feeling eyes and looked at him, a warm, excited feeling in her heart as he moved back in, kissing her again.
There was more passion now as she wrapped her leg around him more, tightening her hug on him as he pulled away again. This time she followed him, kissing him back whilst running her fingers through his soft hair.
She traced his bottom lip with her tongue, tenderly stroking the soft skin of his bottom lip. He did nothing for a moment, clearly unsure of what she was trying to ensue, but he soon opened his mouth slightly and allowed their tongues to collide.
This simple yet so meaningful action was like an ivy plant growing up the side of a chain-link fence, it's vines wrapping and engulfing the object, just as Mina arms wrapped around her boyfriend.
It was strange when the two of them were truly conscious of what their kiss, and neither was too sure of how or what to do now. Surprisingly for Mina, Izuku decided to make the first move, gently tracing the tip of his tongue with her own, before sliding it a little further into her mouth. She followed suit, discreetly opening her eye to look at his face.
The One For All quirk user was beat-red, and his eyes were closed. Mina felt a smile creeping onto her face before closing her eyes again, enjoying the feeling of his arms around her, and the feeling of love and passion in their kiss.
This kiss lasted a few more seconds before Izuku pulled away. Mina traced his tongue with hers, almost begging it to return to her, but alas, it did not.
"S-Sorry... I-I don't know why I did that..." Izuku chuckled suddenly, lifting his hand and rubbing his forehead in a blunt attempt to hide his humiliation. Mina giggled and took his hand, moving it away from his face so she could see him.
"Can you lay with me till I fall asleep, or are you gonna go all shy on me?" Mina asked, teasing the shy boy. His blush grew clearer, but he didn't say no, tightening his arms around her and bringing her head to his chest.
He treasured moments like these so much. He never expected to come across anyone like Mina, let alone get into his first relationship with her. Some parts of their personalities were opposites, but they blended and worked so well together.
If there was a way for him to really show just how much he loved her, he would, but there was no conceivable way he could put it all into words. He wanted to make the most of this before things got tough again. Once training and studying started again, they may not have as much time to do these things. So he wanted to make the most of this moment, and any moments after with Mina.
When Izuku woke the next morning, he was alone in his room. Mina began getting quite drowsy after the excitement of their kiss, and he decided to lay with her until she fell asleep, before tucking her in and returning to his own room for the night.
Thinking back on that event brought a broad smile to the greenette's face. It was the first real chance he'd had to physically show just how much he loved Mina Ashido. She had done an awful, unimaginable amount for him, from saving him from overworking his body to reassuring him of his worth; from making him feel more loved than he'd ever felt before, other than his mother of course. She was a beautiful, and kind-hearted beam of light in his life, and he only wished he could show her that more often.
What reassured him of this, was that she definitely already knew how passionately he felt, so there wasn't a need to prove it. As Izuku rolled over, smiling to himself, his eyes fell on his alarm clock. "7:00 AM". Classes start at nine again today and getting back into the routine of early morning's wasn't going to be easy after the past weekend, but it seemed the habit was still strong in his body.
Pushing the covers off, he got up from his bed, slowly stretching his still somewhat achy right arm over his head, cracking his stiff back as he did. It felt nice knowing that today was going to be all in-class work instead of some kind of training. With their exams and the training camp being their main school activities for the past few weeks, the only time Class 1-A had to really study was Momo's study session, and whatever they could fit in their own time.
Now, with Mr Aizawa explaining things and everyone having a chance to ease back into normality, it was reassuring mentally to know there wouldn't be any physical strain today.
Tomorrow, however, Izuku was a tad more nervous about. It was exciting going back to U.S.J, and he always enjoyed training in the facility, but it was All Might's excitement that unnerved him slightly.
Usually, if All Might was excited about one of his training activities, it either involved the class sparring with one another or some kind of extreme training regime he'd come up with. However, neither of those made sense looking at their past two weeks, so his plan remained a mystery.
Izuku didn't bother changing into his uniform straight away, and instead grabbed his toiletries bag from his bedside table and began making his way towards his bathroom.
The school had decided to stick with its regular times, and with classes starting at nine, he only had around an hour and a bit to get dressed, make breakfast and prepare all his things for class. He was a tad worried about the rest of the class. Everyone was tuckered out and tired, yet they still had to jump right back into things without easing into it.
Izuku let out a sigh as he pulled open his door, but was quickly pulled from his thoughts by Tokoyami, standing in his doorway with his fist raised, as if he were about to knock it.
"T-Tokoyami... Are you alright?" He asked, surprised by having the bird-headed teen so close to him suddenly. Tokoyami quickly stepped back and lowered his hand.
"Oh, yes, I was just coming to make sure everyone was awake. I didn't want us being late for class on the first day back." The Dark Shadow quirk user replied calmly. Izuku nodded and smiled.
"I see... Well, I'll come with you, it'll be easier than going around all on your own." Izuku offered. Tokoyami's face moved in a way to show he was smiling, although it was a little hard to tell with his beak.
"I'll let you take the girls side." He said, turning and walking back towards the elevator. Izuku stared after him for a moment.
"A-Are you sure? I don't know if they'll be very happy to see me there." He replied, to which Tokoyami stopped and looked back over his shoulder, an eyebrow raised.
"I think they would be much happier to see you than me." He said, pointing to his head. His feathers were somewhat messy and ruffled, and his eyes still looked a little sunken and tired beneath the black plume. Izuku slowly nodded and followed after the teen.
The two stayed in silence as they rode the elevator down a floor, to where Tokoyami departed, and Izuku rode the rest of the way to the ground floor. Once it stopped, he left one elevator and entered the other, a small tingle of nerves in his stomach.
Clearing his throat and sucking up his anxiety, he pushed the fourth-floor button, and the door slowly slid closed before he began his ascent. It felt really off, waking up and not being greeted by his mother, but by his classmate. It had only been a day since they first arrived at the dorm, so he wasn't expecting to warm up to it quickly, but at the moment it, felt like he was staying in an overpriced hotel.
Finally, the doors to the elevator slid open and drew him back from his thoughts, revealing the fourth-floor hall of the girl's rooms. Contrary to his expectations, the hall looked exactly the same as the boys, besides a small oak table and a vase with roses sat at the end of it. The vase was quite like ones he'd seen as Momo's home, so it was safe to assume this was her doing.
Moving to the first door on his left, Izuku felt a little hesitation. He wanted to make sure everyone got into school on time, but he would feel bad if he woke them up from a peaceful sleep. However, he would rather wake them up than let them face Aizawa's wrath, so he quickly knocked hard on the door before him, and waited for whoever was inside to respond.
"Just a second." Came Momo's voice.
"Momo, it's me." Izuku spoke up.
"Oh, Midoriya." She replied sounding pleasantly surprised. The door slowly opened, and he was met with Momo, still in her crimson silk pyjamas, but with her uniform neatly laid out on her bed.
"What brings you up here? Something you need me for?" She asked kindly, smiling at the One For All quirk user. He shook his head.
"N-No, Tokoyami and I are making sure everyone is awake since classes start at the same times as usual." He replied. Momo looking a little surprised, but grinned warmly.
"I was about to do that myself... I'm surprised Iida isn't up by now..." She replied, her voice falling a little as she thought out loud. "Well never mind that. You go downstairs and make yourself some breakfast, and I'll make sure all the girls are up and at 'em." the Creation quirk user replied, shaking her head and straighten her posture.
"Alright then... Thank you Momo." Izuku replied, before turning and starting back towards the elevator. He wasn't going to argue with her if she was willing to save him the embarrassment of going to each of the girl's rooms.
After around an hour, everyone was dressed, fed and ready to start up to U.A. Izuku was going to miss catching the bus or train to school in the mornings, especially since the long walk always woke him up a little better.
"Alright Class, let's go." Iida called over the hubbub, pulling open the large wooden door and exposing them all to the chilly morning air. Izuku felt a shiver go down his spine and he chuckled to himself as the class began filing out. It was strange, seeing the entirety of U.A walking down the same large road to get to school.
"Are you okay Deku? You look a little pale..." Uraraka spoke up, hanging back a little to let her greenette friend catch up. Mina was a little further ahead with Toru, Jiro and the rest of her little crew, so Izuku was left with his thoughts, walking at the back with Tokoyami and Todoroki.
"Yeah, I'm alright... Just nervous." He replied. Uraraka frowned curiously at him.
"What do you mean? It's not like this is your first time in U.A." The Gravity quirk user joked, smiling at him. Izuku nodded, but only slightly smiled.
"That's not it... I'm worried about running into Pony again. The last time I saw her was when I broke down at the training camp. I don't know if she's okay or what happened to her when the villains attacked." He admitted. It had been hiding in the back of his mind for a while, but Pony was always someone he thought about, especially after the attack.
"That's not all that's bothering you though, is it?" She asked.
"I don't know." He replied simply. Uraraka didn't say anything, but gently laid her hand on his shoulder, rubbing it comfortingly.
"At lunch, let's go look for Pony together and make sure she's okay." Uraraka suggested. Izuku looked hesitant but nodded, and let out a sigh.
"Okay. Thanks, Uraraka. Sorry, I don't know what's been happening with me recently." He chuckled, rubbing his neck awkwardly.
"Don't worry, everyone has their off days. Once were back in class and things feel more normal again, I grantee you'll be fine" The brunette reassured him. Izuku beamed back at her this time, clearly warmed by her words and she felt something twinge inside her.
It had been a while since she'd last had to combat this feeling, and it had become more noticeable when Aizawa, Toru and Shoji brought him back from his fight with Muscular. She promised herself she'd bury these feelings she had, but it was so hard to do when he meant this much to her. She admired him so much, and his smile always made her feel happier. It was just unfortunate that Mina got to him first.
"Are you okay, Uraraka?" Izuku returned the question after a few seconds of silence.
"What? Oh yeah, I'm fine!" She asked, before quickly cutting herself off and putting on a smile. Izuku looked a little shocked but didn't say anything, giving her a small nod before looking ahead again.
She didn't blame him for feeling off like this. If she'd been thought what he had, she'd probably even worse. She always admired how resilient he was, but she always found it more admirable when he allowed his feeling to show though.
Damn it... Why do I still feel stirred up? She muttered to herself, folding her arms and hiding her hands under them for warmth. Should she tell him about these feelings? Maybe telling him and being told they're unrequited would stop them from bugging her.
No, she couldn't tell him about this. Not only did it feel wrong in her own mind, but after what Tsuyu had said once the rest of the girls found out about her feelings made her question it too.
'You know he'd be upset if he knew you felt this way...'. What was she meant to do? It was so much harder than anyone would realise to just bury feelings like these, even in a situation like this. Uraraka couldn't really speak to anyone who would understand, because everyone she felt comfortable telling just wouldn't really understand.
"I'm gonna go walk with Momo and Iida, is that okay?" She asked as the class started up the small hill towards the school.
"Oh... Y-Yeah sure." He responded, a small grin coming across his face. Uraraka smiled back before speeding up to a jog, catching up to Momo and Tsuyu.
"Hey guys, can I talk to you for a sec?" She asked squeezing in between the two girls.
"Oh, Uraraka!" Momo exclaimed, shocked. "You scared me." She giggled, resting her hand on her heart.
"What's up?" Tsuyu asked, getting back to the topic Uraraka had wondered to bring up.
"Do you remember what I told you back at your house, Momo?" She asked, looking between the two. Momo looked a little puzzled at first, but Tsuyu nodded quickly.
"I remember. It was about Midoriya right?" The Frog quirk user asked rhetorically. "You still feel that same feeling don't you." She added knowingly. Uraraka nodded
"I've been trying really hard to forget about it but... It's getting harder after everything that's happened." She replied.
"This is a little random of a thought, isn't it? I thought things had gotten much better?" Momo questioned with a curious frown.
"I-I know... I know this is really out of nowhere, but believe me..." Uraraka started, before Momo put her hand up to stop her.
"We're not saying you're lying don't worry. I know this is unknown and hard to deal with. I've been in your position before and believe me, I didn't know what to do about it. What helped me forget was just continuing to be that person's friend. After a while, you begin to realise that your best friend just staying your best friend is what's best in the long run." Momo explained.
"This happened to you Momo, ribbit?" Tsuyu asked curiously.
"It did, but I don't talk to them anymore. They moved away years ago." Momo replied blankly. Uraraka didn't bother asking any more, and neither did Tsuyu as it seemed a little personal to her.
"So... I should just act like normal with him, and eventually, it will go away?" Uraraka asked. Momo shook her head.
"No, it won't be that easy. Eventually, it will go away, but for the moment just act the same as you always do with him. it'll feel right sooner or later." She smiled warmly. Uraraka nodded back and let out a sigh.
"Don't feel guilty about it Ochako. You can't help how you feel." Tsuyu reassured her, even though she wasn't too sure about this sort of stuff herself.
"Sorry for bringing it up... I just don't know what to do about all of this." Uraraka muttered, turning her guilt-ridden face towards the floor.
"Don't be. Better off asking than leaving it to fester." Momo smiled, putting her arm around the Gravity quirk user's shoulder. "Focus on classes today, you'll feel better if you let it go to the back of your mind." She added warmly. Uraraka nodded and brought the excitement of getting back into class to the front of her mind. It'd been a while since they'd done any real studying together with Mr. Aizawa and their other teachers, so it was something to really look forward to.
Seeing U.A with its doors open, welcoming them all back with open arms was heart-warming. It felt like she was returning home after being away from it for so long. Firing a glance back at Izuku, she could see he felt exactly the same way. He still looked a little pasty, but there was a smile on his face now the school was in his sights.
Something about being able to see Izuku back in action was really exciting for Uraraka, and as bad as it felt to think, she would've liked to see how he fought and won against Muscular. She didn't doubt that villain was as incredibly powerful as Aizawa said, but she wanted to see how amazing Izuku was because there was no doubting, he would exceed every single one of their expectations.
He really was an incredible boy, Izuku Midoriya.
A/N: Hey all! Just dropping in to ask that any honesty reviews for this chapter will be greatly appreciated. I personally feel this chapter was a little rambly, and if you agree please let me know. I want to try and figure out if chapters need to be narrowed down, or made a little more serious. Any opinions on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, take care!
