The Valley of Spirits, Mandarin's lair, is being attacked by Iron Man and Namor. Enraged for attacking Atlantis, he summons water and prepares to drown the Warlord's servants.

"Okay that's enough." Iron Man gets him to stop and fire repulsor blasts at the rest. "We need to find Mandarin and get answers."

"Do you think you can order me Stark? You are speaking to a king." Namor declares but Tony, hidden in his face plate, rolls his eyes.

"You got it Spock, come on." They run deeper to the labyrinth and see Grey Gargoyle looking proud at this statue. The villain known for turning people into stone with a mere touch looks at these intruders and grins. "You fools will regret stepping into my master's lair."

He touches Iron Man and his armor is turning into stone but he fires with his other arm, falling him back. Namor prepares to hit but is hit by light of energy. He hits the light with his trident and it screams in pain. He summons water and drowns the light. The Living Laser can only shout and passes out with the water dissipating his laser energy.

Grey Gargoyle prepares to touch Iron Man again but something hits the back of his head. He turns and is shocked to see Ultimo's head on the ground. The distraction makes Iron Man unibeam Grey Gargoyle and he falls unconscious. Shang Chi comes out, holding the rest of the metal body of Ultimo.

"Greetings Iron Man and Namor. I welcome you to the Valley of Spirits and need your assistance to defeat the Mandarin." The greatest Martial Artist explains that the warlord had recently attacked his village and wants assistance against him. They agree to go with him and go deeper into the Mausoleum.

Enemy Monks appear and charge at them so Shang Chi clones himself and counterattack the monks with punches and kicks. The team suddenly stops as a ball of light appears to them. "Impressive as always. It is I, Dr Strange speaking through telepathy. I was investigating the castle for magical artifacts and was captured by Mandarin. I will show you my body and Mandarin."

The spirit of Strange creates a path of wisps to guide them. They follow it and find the lair of Mandarin with the warlord levitating Dr Strange. He turns to the intruders and sneers at them, specifically Stark. "Tony Stark, you and your friends cannot hope to defeat me. My Ten Rings will end you peasants."

"Alright let's go you walking stereotype." Iron Man flies at Mandarin and grabs his Fu Manchu mustache and slams him to the ground while Dr Strange falls but luckily Shang Chi grabs him and the ball of light enters him. The Sorcerer Supreme wakes up and stands with the others.

Mandarin shoots beams of light at Iron Man, forcing him away. Namor however comes up and stabs the warlord with his trident but he creates a barrier to stop the attack. "You scum. For the crime of attacking Atlantis, you shall face Imperius Rex!"

"Atlantis? You fool, you have been-" Iron Man interrupts Mandarin by Uni-Beam which breaks the barrier. He raises his ten rings to hit Shang Chi as he runs at him but Dr Strange creates a spell which makes him feel dizzy, stopping his attack. Shang Chi gets in front of the warlord and places his hand on Mandarin's chest. The warlord is sent flying with a one inch punch. The Mandarin hits his own statue, breaking it as he slides to the ground. "Ultimo! To my side!"

The giant robot crashes into the room and charges at the heroes. Dr Strange turns the floor into ice which causes Ultimo to trip and slide towards the Mandarin. The warlord can only widen his eyes as his robot crashes into him, trapping him under Ultimo. Iron Man is above the down villain and aims his repulsor blast at him. "Don't think about it Mandarin, Namor is the one that is going to deal with you. Though I don't know which one I feel for."

"I wasn't at Atlantis you Iron Moron!" The Mandarin shouts and reveals the true culprit. "Loki turn into me to have you come and kill each other. I have not even left China for months, you fool."

"He's telling the truth." Shang Chi explains to the team. "I have been stacking the valley and he hasn't left it in months."

This enrages Namor due to believing that he has the invader of his home in his grasp. "Then you will tell us where this Loki is or my sharks will have dinner tonight."

"I don't think so Atlantian. You heroes will pay for crossing me." Mandarin activates his rings and teleports away from the valley. Namor screams with rage and stabs Ultimo, decapitating it and throws it's head. Iron Man ducks and Shang Chi calms him down.

"Peace Namor, we shall find Loki and the Masters of Evil."

"Team, this is Director Fury. Come back to base. Professor Xavier has contacted us and said that Jean Gray and Nightcrawler have been kidnapped."

The Ultimate Alliance stands at the Stark Tower with Professor Xavier briefing the situation. "Ms Grey and Mr Wagner have been kidnapped and I have difficulty using Cerebro to search for them. Please assist the X-Men to find my students."

"We will assist you but we need something more than science to find the mutants." Director Fury tries to think of a way until Dr Strange appears in front of him and the entire team.

"I can be of assistance. My Sanctum Sanctorum can help you."

"Then we will depart for your magic mansion. Everyone! Pack what is needed!" Everyone moves rapidly to get whatever is necessary. Iron Man stands with Dr Strange and he takes off his helmet. "You have my gratitude for saving me Tony."

"No problem wizard. Thanks for loaning your mansion. Cause my pantry is starting to run low." Tony jokes and the Sorcerer Supreme grins. Though he stops once he sees Tony have his hand up.

"Forget it Tony." He says but Stark keeps having his hand up. They stand as other heroes get ready to leave the tower. Strange sighs and hi-fives Tony.

*CLAP*

"Woho, Awesome facial hair bros!"

"Nightcrawler has escape! Seal the castle!" Doom shouts as the teleporting mutant appears behind the door of his jail cell. Kurt remembers Jean and himself being attacked by The Enchantress and Executioner while on a mission. They tried to fight back but they couldn't and were knocked out. Now that he has woken up, he needs to find Jean and get out of here. 'Hang on Jean, I'll find you.'

He teleports within the castle and finds himself in the court, right where the exit is. However the Doombots see the mutant and fire at Nightcrawler. He jumps over them and takes the scimitars off the walls.

"This will work." He wields them and slices them. One of the bots try to punch him but he teleports above them and the chandeliers. He cuts the chains holding them and they crash into the robots. One of them try to find the mutant until it feels a tail on it's chest. "En garde robot."

He stabs it and it falls to the ground. Nightcrawler goes to the gate but once he puts his hands on it, he is electrocuted. "AAHH!"

Kurt Wagner falls and groans in pain. Dr Doom enters the room and sees the mutant unable to get up. The Dictator of Latveria orders his Doombots. "Get him to the lab, immediately."

He walks away until two soldiers march to him holding another soldier by both arms. "Milord, this is the man that was assigned to watch the mutant."

"Please, your majesty! I beg your forgiveness, I thought he was still unconscious." The guard pleads with Dr Doom but he doesn't show any. He fires a concussive blast on the fool's head which he falls lifelessly. Doom walks to the down guard and rips off his face, showing not flesh but machinery.

"Life-Model Decoy. Doom wants all soldiers to have full body examinations." Doom orders and his Latverian subjects salute and walk away. The leader of the Masters of Evil laughs mockingly as he walks away while dramatically flapping his cape. "You think you can deceive Doom, Fury? You cannot begin to fathom Doom's genius. Just try and rescue those precious mutants. You will only walk into your death, heroes."
