Zilla tries to chomp down on Godzilla but he grabs its jaws and keeps its mouth open. He fires his Atomic Breath straight into Zilla's mouth. The giant iguana widens it's eyes as the energy beam goes through it's body and head comes off. Godzilla throws Zilla's head away and runs deeper into the Intelligencia base.
"AAHH ZILLA!" General Tojo screams, enraged and sadden for the destruction of his creation. He begins punching the monitors. He was about to punch the last one when he sees Red Hulk firing Anti-Gamma weapons at Hulk and Red Harpy. Seeing the battle, makes the General realize someone is missing. "Where is the mutant?"
The steel door to his room breaks open and Sabretooth enters. The mutant grabs Tojo and slams his face on the remaining monitor. He holds him up and demands the location of the one that put him under control.
"Where the hell is the Leader?" Suddenly Sabretooth let's go of Tojo as he feels someone dwell into his mind. He turns to see the Leader with Absorbing Man beside him, absorbing the steel door. Absorbing Man smashes Sabretooth's head with his ball and chain.
"I am right here Victor. Welcome back." The Leader mocks the mutant which angers him. He launches at the Leader to silt his throat with his bare hands but Absorbing Man grabs him and throws him to the monitors. Sabretooth grunts as the Leader's bodyguard charges at him.
Red Hulk is firing an Anti-Gamma Radiation rifle at Hulk and Red Harpy. It hurts Betty which enrages Hulk and so he grabs the rifle and throws it away. Seeing a chance, Red Harpy flies towards her father and slashes his chest with her talons.
Thunderbolt Ross retaliates by grabbing his daughter's talons and slams her on the wall. Hulk punches him to get him off her. The wall breaks, allowing Godzilla to come out. He grabs Red Hulk and slams him through a wall. Ross grabs his rifle and proceeds to overpower it. He fires at him, which proceeds to power him down. Red Harpy was able to take Red Hulk's rifle and throws it at Hulk, who grabs it and fires it which powers him down.
Thunderbolt Ross looks at his human and can only gasp as Erwin punches him in the face, knocking him out. The three Gamma heroes look at the down general who ruin their lives. Hulk glares at the General that turn him into the green giant and picks him up with a single giant hand.
"Bruce stop!" Betty stops Hulk from doing something he will regret later.
"No Banner! Only Hulk! Hulk wants Ross dead!" Hulk shouts when Erwin grabs his giant arm.
"No Bruce. We don't have to do this. He can rot in prison." Erwin wants to end Ross, the very general that force him to flee his country. And yet, he knows killing a general will end with them being hunted. Hulk lets go of Ross and feels tired. So, he collapses and transform into Bruce Banner.
"Ah!" Bruce is shock to see an unconscious Ross, Betsy and Erwin next to him. "Hey…"
Red Harpy chuckles. "Don't change Bruce."
"Trust me Betty, he is still the same awkward guy. You should see him talking with Miss Marvel." Erwin jokes with his friends. They all laugh together as Betty transform back into her human form.
The reunion is cut short when Absorbing Man is sent flying into the room. Sabretooth enters, holding the unconscious Leader. "Nice try trash."
"Sabretooth? What happen to General Tojo?" Betty asks due to remembering the other member of Intelligencia.
"He is unconscious in the monitor room." Victor Creed said when Erwin leaves the room and goes in the monitor room but he doesn't see the General.
"He must have woken up and left. We better get back the Sanctum Sanctorum." Bruce said and put his hand on Erwin's shoulder, who is enrage that General Tojo is still out there.
Betty holds his hand to calm him down. "Let's go Erwin."
"Right…" Erwin growls as he looks at his hand being held by Betty. That was when he notices his arms are reptile scales and sharp nails. "What am I becoming?"
The team of Dr Strange, Wolverine, Spider Man, and Sister Grimm enter hell, where the son of Mephisto: Blackheart is attacking them. He dashes and grabs Spider Man by the neck. The other heroes try to help him but are suddenly surrounded by demons.
"This is the so-called hero of New York? How pa-AH!" Blackheart gloats but his eyes become blinded by Spider Man's web. Spider Man high kicks him in the face which lets him go. The Spider hero backflips and gives him an uppercut.
"Son of the Devil? More like son of dweebs!"
Dr Strange levitates and summons giant serpents which swallow the demons whole. He closes his eyes and a third eye appears on his forehead, allowing him to see the realm as a whole. He sees Mephisto sitting in his throne, Nightcrawler and Jean Grey in cages, and Ghost Rider unconscious on a circle of occult symbols. Seeing his friend clearly in pain makes him fly towards him. He lands next to Johnny Blaze and destroys the circle but he still won't awaken. "Johnny. Johnny wake up."
"That won't work Sorcerer Supreme." Mephisto appears next to Dr Strange, who creates circles in his hands. "He tried to defeat me but he failed and now he is my prisoner. Just as you all will."
"That will not be our fate. You will give back the mutants or die." Dr Strange counters the Devil, who laughs at his confidence or perhaps it is arrogance? Mephisto creates flames which Dr Strange counters by clashing with ice.
Wolverine jumps at Blackheart and stabs him. He tries to counterattack but Spider Man webs the demon's hands together, allowing Sister Grimm to create a spell which traps Blackheart in a black sphere. This will trap him in a century or two. Nico Minoru thanks her family's staff, which can create the strongest spells. That was when a giant sword stabs Wolverine which goes through his chest. Spider Man checks on his friend and takes the sword off of him as a demon horde comes towards them.
"Logan!"
"I'm fine web-head. Kid, go get that wizard! We will hold them off and find our friends." Wolverine orders the young sorcerer, who frowns at the title.
"We are sorcerers!" Nico said and flies away as Spider Man and Wolverine charge at the horde. Spider Man webs one of them and uses it to slam into the other demons while Wolverine slashes at everyone that comes in front of him.
Nico searches for her master and sees Strange conjure axes and flings them at Mephisto, who with a snap disintegrates them. She lands and fires magical blasts but he just shrugs them away. He then raises his hands and hell fire surrounds them and the unconscious Ghost Rider. Dr Strange realizes what the occult circle is that is keeping Johnny.
"The circle. It keeps any living being trap in a dream-like sleep. We need someone to take his place to free him." Dr Strange explains to his student, who has an idea. He tries to stop Nico, who lifts her staff. "Don't!"
Nico Minoru slams her staff down and she falls asleep but Strange grabs her before she hits the ground. The Devil's Bounty Hunter wakes up and his head turns to a flaming skull. "You are going to pay Mephisto."
Ghost Rider takes his chains and hits Mephisto with them as Dr Strange enchants them with holy magic which stings like hell.
Spider Man and Wolverine keep running until they find their friends Nightcrawler and Jean Grey, both in cages and suspended above the dark depths below. Seeing them in cages worries and angers Logan. "Jean, Kurt!"
Wolverine runs towards Jean's cage while the web head jumps and lands next to Nightcrawler. He places his hands on the cell to bend it open. "One rescue from hell coming up!"
"Stop!" Nightcrawler stops Spider Man from opening it while Jean stops Logan from taking her out as well.
"Jean?"
"Listen to me Logan, Mephisto put a spell on our cells. If you free one of us then the other will fall." Jean Grey explains and glares at Logan. "Don't let Kurt die for me. Save him."
"No. Don't listen to her. I don't care if I lose my life. Save Jean!" Nightcrawler refuses for his life to be save in exchange for hers.
"Logan?" Spider Man lets him decide as this is his people and friends. Wolverine looks at the battle of Dr Strange and Ghost Rider against Mephisto. The holy infused whips hold the devil back while Strange is casting a spell, which summons a Shinto Shrine and it lands on Mephisto's neck. Ghost Rider traps him by wrapping his arms and legs.
Wolverine tries to think of way to free them when suddenly Spider Man looks to be in an daze and presses the button to free Nightcrawler. This causes Jean to fall into the abyss. "Jean! How could you?!"
Kurt and Logan shout seeing their friend die and Nightcrawler grabs Spider Man, who begins to shake his head. "W-what happen?"
That was when they realize what happened. Jean must have used mind control to make him drop her. She knew her friends wouldn't choose so she made the decision for them. Peter looks down and realize what he had down which makes him kneel in guilt. "Nono. I killed her."
"Listen Web-head, this isn't your fault. Jean knew we couldn't choose so she did it herself." Wolverine tries to calm Spider Man but he still feels guilty. That was when Mephisto breaks out of the shrine and chains. He laughs at the sacrifice and knows what he can do now.
"What a foolish girl! Now to bring my new servant." Mephisto gloats as he summons Jean Grey in front of him. She opens her eyes and sends Dr Strange and Ghost Rider flying out of the circle. The Sorcerer Supreme uses his Levitation Cloak to fly while the Spirit of Vengeance, somehow, whistles which summons his motorcycle and rides it to get back to the circle.
"Jean!" Nightcrawler sees his old friend with the devil, who smiles at his servant. The teleporting mutant grabs Wolverine and Spider Man and takes them to the Devil and his new servant.
"Any that die in my realm are mine to control!" The Ruler of Hell said as he is ecstatic that he has one of the strongest Mutant under his control. Jean lifts giant boulders and launches them at the heroes. Wolverine takes his claw and slices the boulders as Spider Man jumps on one of them and launches himself off it. He tries to punch Mephisto but finds himself stuck in the air, allowing the Devil to grab him and fling him through a pillar and into the abyss. "Haha! With this power at my command, even Doom will quake at my feet. Jean, be a dear and eliminate these intruders."
Jean levitates over her master and is about to use her mutant powers when Dr Strange comes from below and throws his cloak which covers Jean and slams her down. Ghost Rider and Spider Man come out as well on Johnny's bike. They both drop down and punches Mephisto. Johnny Blaze hits him with his chains as Peter traps the Psychic Mutant with his webs. The Cloak of Levitation flies back to the Sorcerer Supreme, who puts it back on and crosses his legs. He chants a spell as Jean breaks out of the webs.
Nightcrawler teleports behind Jean and grabs her, preparing to teleport her away from the Devil when she dwells into his mind. Kurt can feel Jean infiltrate his memories. The Teleporting Mutant shows her all the time the X-Men have been together. Fighting for Mutant and Humankind, training as a team, and Kurt learning to use his powers with Jean's help.
The Psychic Mutant opens his eyes and looks to see Mephisto being trap in chains and giant hands holding him down from portals made by Strange. That was when Wolverine and Nightcrawler help her up. "Logan? Kurt?"
"Yes Jean. It's us, your friends." The former Weapon X Mutant is happy to see that the mind control was taken out. Dr Strange destroys the Occult Circle which frees Nico and she wakes up with a groan.
"Uh. Those dreams. I was with the Runaways again. We defeated our parents and made them abandon the Pride. We were a real family."
Dr Strange places his hand on his student. "You know that was just an illusion right? It is a way for Mephisto to weaken your mental state."
"I know." Nico nods as she looks at the trap Devil. "It was nice to see them again. Perhaps I can visit them."
"Perhaps. But for now, let us see what Mephisto has to say." The two sorcerers land in front of Mephisto and prepare to torture him for information. That was when Jean interrupts them. While under his control, Jean was able to dwell into his memories and find the truth.
"Wait! Dr Doom visited Mephisto and gave him me and Kurt in exchange for a powerful sword: The Twilight Sword. This sword is a weapon that can defeat gods."
Mephisto laughs and speaks. "Gods like Odin. Dr Doom and his Masters of Evil will attack Asgard and takeover the realm with ease."
That was when the heroes realize what this mission truly is. Ghost Rider voice what everyone is thinking. "This was a distraction all along!"
"Oh come on. Since when was the Devil a mid-boss?" Spider Man complains over the revelation and Dr Strange creates a portal to leave.
Logan goes to Jean and tries to pat her on the back. "Let's go Jean. Scott is complaining like an idiot and wants you- What the hell!"
His arms go through her as if she is intangible. She looks at her friend sadly as she knows the truth. "I'm afraid I can't leave Logan. Once someone dies in this realm, they are stuck here for eternity."
No!" Nightcrawler can't believe that one of the kindest women he ever meet will be stuck in hell because of himself. "I should've done something! Try to teleport! Anything!"
His self-deprecation stops once one of the first X-Men pretends to hug him and gives him advice. "Listen Kurt, this isn't your fault. Dr Doom is someone we couldn't defeat no matter what. I sacrifice myself and will do it again if you are safe."
Somehow, Kurt can feel the affection and so he cries. He tries to hug her but it keeps going through her. Wolverine looks down. Jean lets go and looks at Logan. "Please tell Scott I am sorry. I will find a way out myself."
"Fine but we will come back for you once Doom is dealt with." Wolverine doesn't want to leave her but knows she can deal with it herself. Jean nods and uses telekinesis to hold Mephisto down, allowing Ghost Rider to take his chains back. The team goes through Dr Strange's portal back to the Sanctum. But not one hero.
"Spider Man!" Mephisto shouts the New York hero, who is confuse why the Devil is speaking his name. Even stuck in place, the Ruler of Hell gloats with a smirk. "I have seen your future! You will suffer a great lost! Everything you have fought for will be gone at an instant!"
Spider Man doesn't believe this prophecy and so he just mocks him. "Yeah I know, my rent is due in a week right?"
He jumps into the portal, leaving Mephisto and Jean Grey. The Devil breaks out of her hold and summons giant geysers of lava. The Phoenix behind her and notices wings made of flames appear on her back. She can hear a voice speak to her and it isn't Mephisto.
"Jean Grey, show this worthless demon our power: The Dark Phoenix."
Marvel Girl roars and a giant bird in flames appears behind her.
The team comes out of the portal and find themselves surrounded by the Ultimate Alliance, more specifically the X-Men. Nightcrawler walks to his teammates as Wolverine sit down, ashamed that he left Jean in Hell. Cyclops sit beside him and gets his attention. "We will get her back."
"I know Scott. We will make Mephisto wish he can leave Hell once we are done with him.
Dr Strange and Nico are walking up the stairs when the Sorcerer Supreme summons a broomstick into Nico's hands. "What the hell is this?"
"Your chores have increase. Consider this punishment for forcing yourself to Hell." Dr Strange keeps walking up the stairs.
"You're a prick!" Nico shouts at her teacher, who nonchalantly replies.
"I know!"
Director Fury speaks to the Alliance and more specifically Thor. "Pack everything you have. Asgard needs our help."
"Aye Fury!" Thor holds Mjolnir in the air. "Let us show the Masters of Evil the consequences daring to attack my home! Onward for Asgard!"
Two Asgardian Guards are outside the mighty city's gate. They are watching for any intruders and threats to the Gods. That was when a certain Trickster God shows himself with a smug grin on his face. "Brave warriors of Asgard! I have come to visit dear father!"
"Loki…" One of the guards looks at Loki in disgust and spits at the direction of the god that plotted to takeover the realm for centuries. That was when the God of Mischief appear in front of them.
"Please, allow me to show my gift to the All-Father. Behold!" Loki shows them an army of Super Soldiers. All of them were mere men that were given the same treatment that gave Red Skull and Captain America their strength. Loki reappears next to his army as they throw boulders at the wall and gate. "Long have mine greatness been look down. Now I have the power to take the glory!"
The giant gate breaks apart and collapses towards the guards. One of them pushes his companion out of the way but is crush by the gate. He looks to see the Super Soldier army charge at Asgard and knows he will die. But he doesn't flee nor run. He lifts his Warhammer when lightning appears beside him to reveal the friend of the Norse, Beta Ray Bill. They look at eachother and nod as the army gets closer. They charge at the army and roar their war cry.
"FOR ASGARD!"
Beta and the Asgard Guard crash at the Super Soldiers and take out as many in front of them. Loki laughs as they and Asgard are being overwhelmed and laughs.
"Odin's throne will be mine! Mwahaha!"
