Chapter 13
Elijah's pov
I layed in bed watching her sleep. For once since I have known her she seemed peaceful. I traced the scars she had on her back, wondering how she got them. The goosebumps followed my fingers as I slid them across her back, She stirred slightly. I smirked then leaned over and kissed her shoulder and neck. She moaned and rolled over to face me. She opened her eyes slightly and sighed.
"Well good morning to you too." She grumbled.
"Hmm. Yes it is." I said leaning down. I kissed her and she kissed back. I rolled on top of her and pulled her leg around my hip. We went from the bed, to the bathroom, back to the bed until we decided to shower seperately. I walked downstairs after my shower and getting dressed to the kitchen. Isabella and Rebekah stood there talking.
"Eventful nihgt brother?" Rebekah asked smirking. I looked at Isabella who giggled.
"Vampire hearing. I didn't say a word to her." She said holding up her hands.
"Yes it was, Rebekah. I did get quite the workout." I said winking at Isabella. She smirked and blushed.
"What have you done to my brother?" Rebekah asked in shick.
"Nothing." Isabella said sipping her coffee. I saw her devilish grin behind her mug.
"Ladies, what are your plans for today?" I asked walking to the coffee pot. I poured me a cup and turned back to them.
"Well I'm gonna go see Marcel, see how he is doing, and probably torment her wolves." Rebekah said nodding to Isabella. I looked over at her.
"I will be house hunting for me and the others. I gave your realtor lady a call, and she is picking out a few houses." She said.
"How did you get her name?" I asked. She smiled that devilish smile again.
"I don't reveal those secrets just yet." She said giggling.
"How about I meet you wherever and help you decide? I have afew things to do before lunch, but after that I'm free." I offered.
"Sounds wonderful." She said nodding. I finally took in what she was wearing. She wore a leather skirt, with a white low cut tank top, her leather jacket and a pair of black boots. No matter what she wore now, I would always want her. I placed my cup down and went over to them.
"Excuse us, sister." I said grabbing Isabellas hand. I pulled her with me into the hall and pressed her in the wall.
"Elijah." She started but I cut her off with my lips. She sighed and kissed me back. I slid one around around her waist and pulled her closer to me. I pulled back slightly.
"You look amazing today. Please tell me if the panties match?" I said tracing the lace of her bra. She smirked and leaned back in.
"What panties?" She asked seductively. Then she was gone. I groaned and placed my hand on the wall. I took a deep breath and walked into the kitchen. I placed a hand along Isabellas hip and squeezed tightly.
"I have to be going. Ill see you later." I said kissing their cheeks. I started walking out when I heard heels behind me
"Wait!" Isabella called out. I turned to her and she stopped in front of me. She grabbed my tie and kissed me hard. I groaned and kissed her back. She pulled away and smiled.
"See you soon." She said smirking. Then she was walking away. I went to fix my tie when I realized it wasn't there. I looked at Isabella, who was standing at the door, and saw her waving the tie. I smirked and nodded. Throughout the morning, I texted Isabella on and off. She had yet to find her perfect house for her and her family. I asked her to lunch and she agreed to meet at the café.
"How well do you like your relator? She's a bit annoying." She said sipping her tea.
"Not a fan of the humans?" I teased her.
"Not really." She answered. I nodded and looked down at my plate.
"So where all have you looked for a house?" I asked her.
"Almost everywhere. She has one house left to show me though. Its not far from your place, actually." She said.
"Well we should most certainly go see it then." I said smiling. She smiled and nodded. We finished lunch, I paid after arguing with Isabella about it, and we headed to the home. I parked behind Isabella and got out.
"Isabella! Mr. Smith! I didn't know you knew each other!" Beverly said as we walked up.
"Yes Beverly, Isabella and I are looking for our forever home. Im hoping you are giving her the best in my abscence." I said sliding my arm around Isabella.
"I didn't know you two were married! Oh! How wonderful! I just love showing newly weds their homes! I just know this house is gonna be perfect for you two!" Beverly squealed. She ran off inside.
"Elijah." Isabella said grabbing my arm.
"Yes dear?" I asked smirking.
"Our forever home?" She asked. I shrugged and pulled her inside the house with me. She gasped as we walked in.
"Oh my." She said amazed. The hosue was beautiful and fit Isabella perfectly. The kitchen was her favorite and so was the ballroom.
"Do you know the Centuries Old Waltz Isabella?" I asked her. She smiled as I circled her.
"Of course I do. I knew that dance before I could talk." She said watching me. I held my hand out and spun her around the floor.
"Oh! The two of you! You're just a match made in heaven! This house will be perfect for the both of you! And your children! Ah! They'll be gorgeous!" Beverly squealed.
"Honey? What are your thoughts on the house?" Isabella asked me. I slid my arms around her and kissed her cheek.
"I think its perfect." I told her. She squealed and turned and kissed me.
"So youll take it?" Beverly asked.
"Yes we will!" Isabella said bouncing. We walked outside and Isabella wrote a check and signed the paperwork. She handed Isabella a packet.
"Theres the deed to the house and everything. Oh. You two are just perfect for this house." Beverly said smiling. Then she got in her car and left.
"Were you here around this time when this house was here?" Isabella asked me.
"No. The house must have been built after we left." I told her. She nodded and turned to the house.
"I'll ask Marcel when I see him." She said.
"So what now?" I asked her.
"I go choose my room. Then make a list of everything I need to put inside the house." She said smiling. She skipped to the front door and waited for me. I tried stepping over the threshold but the barrier was in place.
"Isabella? Would you mind letting me in?" I asked her. She turned around and gasped.
"Oh my! Who is this fine gentleman at my door begging to be let in?" She asked teasingly. I leaned against the doorframe.
"Isabella." I said watching her.
"Are you a serial Killer, Mr. Stranger? If I were to invite you I, are you gonna steal my innocence and kill me?" She asked pouting.
"My dearest Isabella. You and I both know thay there isn't a thing innocent about you. I know that from facts and memory of last night and this morning." I said smirking. She giggled.
"Come in, Elijah." She said biting her lip. I stepped in and grabbed her in my arms. She laughed as I spun us in circle.
"Lets go pick out your room, shall we?" I asked her. She nodded and I ran us upstairs. She didn't like any of the others we saw. I finally brought her to the one facing the gardens.
"How about this one?" I asked her. She looked around and nodded.
"Ooh! I can wake up to a beautiful view!" She said looking out the windows.
"Me or the gardens?" I teased her.
"The gardens, duh. You are just the added bonus." She said laughing. I pulled her against my chest and playfully growled into her neck.
"It isn't very nice to tease me, Isabella." I told her. I made light kisses along her shoulder and neck.
"You seemed to enjoy it last night." She said turning her neck to give me better access. I felt her pulse beathing underneath my lips.
"Isabella." I said feeling my vampire face come out. She turned to me and but her lip. Sher ran her fingers around the veins and down to my fangs.
"Do you need to feed?" She asked me.
"Yes but I have enough control to last until I get home." I told her. She shook her head and held up her wrist.
"You can take from me." She offered.
"Isabella, I don't want to feed off you. I've seen what it has done to Marcel." I argued.
"Marcel may have been turned by an Original but he's still a regular vampire. You have more control." She argued back.
"You think I have control?" I asked her.
"If you didn't, you would've have bitten me last nigh tand this morning during sex. I trust you, Elijah. I don't offer my blood to just anyone." She said.
"You shouldn't trust me." I said walking away. I heard her huff and follow me out of the house. She went to her car and opened her door.
"Ill see you at home later?" I asked her.
"Maybe." She said getting in her car. She slammed the car door and drove off. I sighed and leaned against my car.
