Say hello to the Future

What happens when the young justice team meet themselves, families and allies from 15 years in the future? Who is the mysterious new bat? Why does the original team find her so familiar. Why do the future bats refuse to talk about the assassin known as shadow. What do the time travelers know about the Red Hood of their time. Why does he remind them of their fallen bird?

1. Chapter 1

What happens when the young justice team meet themselves, families and allies from 15 yearsin the future?

Timeline changes:

Young Justice Season 1 Changes:

· Robtanna never happened

· Shadow was one of the assassins sent after Dr. Roquet (Shadow is the reader's code name) This is a small reader insert story.

Young Justice Season 2 Changes:

· Starfire, Raven and Cyborg (I'll use the animated 2003 series' version of these characters) joined the team between the season 1 and season 2 five-year time skip. They were there for the invasion but the teen titans never happened. Love it but would cause timeline problems.

· No Batgirl because I have not done enough research or read a lot of fanfics about her in the young justice universe.

· Wally survived the invasion.

· Mt. Justice wasn't blown up.

· Everyone has already forgiven Nightwing except for Lagoon Boy also Nightwing didn't quit.

· No Tim/Cassie.

· BatCat is canon but a secret. (batcat was happening since season 1)

· No Karen/Mal.

· No one knows the bats' identities.

· The Red Hood has just started appearing in Gotham.

· Jason was said to have gone to run away not to have died.

· Shadow currently works for the league of assassins.

· Orphan and Spoiler join the batclan and are present for the invasion.

· Damian was already given to Bruce by Talia but does not yet have a code name so he is just called son of a bat.

· No impulse, he left after the invasion (he was able to get his time machine fixed but had to tell the truth about why he came back in time, however everyone was very understanding)

NB

Steph and Cass have never been batgirl since she doesn't exist.

If I say batgirls, I mean that they are female bats.
