Miko and I arrived at the base on Arcee as Miko spoke. "I can't believe Raff is going to let Ratchet help with his volcano. I mean really you know he is probably going to soup it up with cybertronian technology. Right?" As Miko and I got off of Arcee she transformed in the hangar to find two stations set up for working on our projects. One with painting supplies the other with tools and motorcycle parts.

Miko kisses me on my cheek as she thanks me. "I am really glad my boyfriend suggested we work here at his base. Safe from harm and able to work together." I laughed as I commented back. "Always plus you get to take your flight with Trip. While I finish getting everything set up. So is it me you love or what I can offer you?" After slapping my arm she walked over to her station with a huff. "Both silly. Though I am not talking about the base or Trip and Jr, but actually what you will give me after we talk later when I get back. I care more for the thought of having you than I do the base or the flight your adopted family will give me. Remember I have a taste of you, and I can't stop with just that. I can't wait much longer."

My mouth drops open as I am in shock Arcee is laughing like crazy as I recover. "Ok. I am off to the bathroom before I get in more trouble." As I started walking I heard over my shoulder from Miko. "Save some for later. You don't want to shoot blanks." Arcee laughed harder as I shook my head and continued walking to the door.

Miko looked at Arcee as she asked a question, noticing nobody around. "Don't you think it is odd how casual they are when we are at their base. Like either they have complete trust in us, or is there something else going on here? After all you autobots rarely let us alone near your equipment like Jack and them do you and me."

Arcee smiled as she answers the question. "You are very observant you know that. Actually the ship is alive just barely functional in most places. Nothing goes on inside the functional areas without him knowing about all of it." Miko blinked before looking shocked as she whispers. "And they admitted it to you? Isn't it like showing their hand in poker to tell you something like that. Whait, do you all know what poker is? Anyway do they trust us that much, and why tell me?"

"Jack wants to tell you everything, he is just scared. He has feelings for you; he just has a hard time letting anyone in. He had no choice but to let me in. Please just keep an open mind and don't shut him down without giving him time to explain everything please." Arcee looked worried saying that as she looked down at Miko. Thinking for a while Miko eventually answers Arcee as Trip walks in. "I will, he is too valuable to give up on easily. And I don't mean for what he has. A man with Jack's personality is extremely hard to find, and worth fighting desperately to keep."

Picking up Miko I transformed as she was sitting in the seat, this time in her lap is a flight helmet with her favorite colors and the words Rockstar on it. "You need to put it on. Just in case." I informed her as we sat there as Miko asked. "Ok. Why do I have to, you didn't make me where protection before? Also you are sounding a lot like Jack looking out for me wearing protection." With a smirk on her face visible in the cockpit I answer. "Jack made it and the bike helmet for special protection. I can't say how, but it will greatly increase your chances for survival." Miko looked it over before putting it on, commenting back. "Be glad I like the color scheme."

Once the helmet is on I gunned the throttle. Opening a bridge at the last minute before the wall. In the sky as we started flying Miko seemed happy. Thinking she might enjoy it I increase thrust and angle upwards. "Hang on. You will like the view." I tell her as she looked out the window. We are passing through the clouds as Miko asked. "You ever take Arcee up here?" I smiled while answering her. "Maybe one day if we ever fix the ship. Having a bot on me is extremely dangerous. Only for emergencies will I try it."

As Miko looked nervous she asked me a question as we leveled out before heading into a dive. "Do you worry about Jack and Arcee being together? I mean Jack has feelings for her, and if the banter is anything to go off of she has strong feelings for him also." I comment curious as to her feelings on the subject. "I don't mind if it's Jack. We are like one person actually, but she won't take his first time with a woman. Arcee believes our first time is priceless. She took mine, but Jack's body hasn't been with anyone so she won't take that privilege away from you. She respects you too much after that i don't know. However Jack will openly discuss it and his feelings before you go farther."

Miko looked in thought as she commented. "That is interesting most men don't want to share. So anything you can tell me about Jack to help me out?" "What do you mean?" I asked as she clarified. "Well. Jack wants to wait for sex until I know his deeper secrets. It wouldn't be so bad if he would tell me but he is nervous so can you tell me some things to make it easier?"

I am silent for a while. "Pleeeease." She begged me seeing the mood still serious. I level off for a calm flight before answering "I can tell you some things because he wants to, it is just as you said hard for him to open up. Jack had to tell Arcee his secrets to save his life for reasons you have not learned yet. The connection we share requires it. Jack did not want to fight in a war if Arcee pushed him to get involved. Miko was quiet when she asked her next question. "What changed?" I spoke in a sad defeated voice. "If he did nothing, people would die. The autobots first, then the population. He made his choice. Jack still believes peace can be achieved without killing all of them. How to achieve it is still a mystery." Miko was quiet as she thinks on things in an equally quiet voice she comments. "A lot of pressure to put on a young man." I comment quickly. "You have no idea. It started when he was 6 though he didn't learn everything then. The more he learns the greater the pressure gets. Jack doesn't believe you would betray him ever he is more scared of what you may think when you know how much he was changed that day. Being in a relationship with him will not be easy, though it does have some interesting perks."

Miko was silent contemplating everything she hurd before asking her questions carefully. "His life was really on the line?" I answered a little nervously. "Yes he is required to spend one hour every 4 days at base. Otherwise he will start having great pain a few hours after that and the degradation will become permanent, killing all of us." She thinks for a moment before her next statement. "Arcee already met all of you that is why Jr. did not surprise her. Also if what you say is true Jack doesn't just speak as a representative for you he is a part of you, or in charge. That's why you are so casual about his relationship with Arcee, even willing to share?"

I could tell my answer to the question was very crucial to her to the point I almost didn't want to answer before I changed my mind wanting for her to know everything. "The connection is so deep we feel everything his body feels, and vice versa."

I feel like I just dropped a bomb on her, my whole frame tense. I hear one soft word. "Everything?" "Yes." I answer my tension builds as I saw her thinking before with a smirk she asked. "What were you and Arcee doing last night?" As I am about to answer she grabbed the joystick near the bottom of the handhold firm at the top. Remembering how I said it was sensitive. As Miko smiled she asked warmly. "Why do you have to be at your base and how else were you changed?" Miko asked as I hope my answer will be accepted. "I was dying and so was Triplex, the ship I call my base. The prime in charge of dimensions placed me inside Triplex's spark chamber, their heart and what contains their soul. We merged into one being upon our death. They decided to let us live in hopes to somehow save their race, restoring just enough to let us survive. If I can prove I am worthy of something more they may provide or lead me to a way of fixing myself. What that is or what I have to prove I am not sure."

As she stopped rubbing thinking about what I confessed I asked. "How did you figure it out? I realize I wasn't being very careful at hiding it. I just..." "Wanted to tell me? But didn't know how to?" She interrupted very smugly as I was quiet. She was starting to rub slowly again and answer. "I suspected there was a lot you and Raff were not telling us, but I didn't really get close to figuring it out until Arcee told me the base was alive. Admitting all of you would die, and feeling everything the others feel just clinched it. So why a human body it seems fragile in their world?"

I chuckle before I answer her question. "The reason the primes did it was to allow me to grow up as the humans they viewed in other dimensions would. They hoped by continuing my growth I would become something similar to most of them, but they never told me what that was or showed me how they acted. The body they created is very similar to the villain in the third terminator movie in concept. Though I am way stronger than them. The material I am made of is more durable, lightweight, and can self repair slowly if not too severely damaged. It is mainly a spark chamber, jamming systems, advanced scanning, equipment, communication equipment, limited defense and offense capabilities through minor structural transformation in the arms, and a synthetic skin to hide. The two pieces of my spark however will lose harmony if away from one another two long then both sparks will start to shatter. Trip and Jr are just shells I am plugged into they can't function outside of my bigger body if they are not inside myself."

"You mean you're inside here? You did come to save me!" I hope Miko's enthusiasm is a sign she is still favorable to accepting me. "Yes. I am in a chamber inside Trip. My human body is totally locked down while hardwired in for the connection. My other self that I am merged with is Triplex, a triple changer able to switch between a colony battleship, a city, and a giant robot. I am far bigger than the Nemesis just stuck in ship mode and buried on earth barely functional. I can operate Trip and Jr. if inside the ship's body. I just mainly use only one body at any given time. It gets extremely confusing otherwise. "

Miko busted out laughing much harder than before eventually calmed down when she spoke. "I bet it can be. I knew you could crush Vince, but I thought it was from training. I never thought it was from raw power. Is it safe for me though, I mean you wouldn't get carried away and crush me during sex? Will you?" I hear in a worried tone still moving her hand as I quickly answer, taking great comfort in the fact of her asking about the possibility. "No! She said something about coming out your shell?" I think before I answer. "Arcee believes mom is close to the truth, mom keeps staring at her, almost treating Arcee as if she is real. I don't think so though. The comments were just on how until I met Raff. I would keep to myself not letting people in out of fear. You and Raff have handled it better than I had hoped."

"Why was Arcee so aggressive with Trip during the movie. If she knew it would affect your human body with me beside you?" I answer her question easily now. I hope the answer will bring us all together. "Arcee was planning on telling you already and it doesn't break her trust, so. She saw you and mom were joking and laughing. Mom accepting you with me as a couple." Miko sounds a little down but confused as she asks. "Ok. I understand how she could want that, but when your mother finds out eventually Arcee will have that also right? " I brought her to the crook of the problem Arcee worried about before she continued. "Arcee is a soldier. In fact the soldier second in command to the current force on earth. How will my overprotective nurse mother wanting to save lives take to a person who kills often even if it is to protect others? Also her son being in a relationship with someone in a similar situation of them hiding from a stronger force that would stop at nothing to eliminate them and anyone they are close to. Especially when I was captured by hit men and shot at when I was 6, all because of a person I knew as a friend. With mom almost losing me. Filip gave his life for me. I may not have seen it but I heard him die. You can see why Arcee worries on what my mother may think of her and my relationship I hope?"

Miko looked shocked as she stopped rubbing me answering. "Wow. I never thought of that. And I had only heard rumors about your past so I didn't know what was real." I add a few additional points. "Arcee sees how in humans parents care and bond with children she envies that. Also she knows how important mom is to me so she is scared of my reaction if mom doesn't accept her. I won't leave Arcee but she still also doesn't want to drive a wedge between me and mom. "

Miko was very silent as I gave her some pleasant news. "On a lighter note Arcee agrees with Raff and apparently my mom. With the belief that joking and teasing me is a good way to help keep my serious side not to dominate my personality. When I merged I didn't get his memories clearly they were to degraded, but I got his boring business type personality on things. I try to act my age, but it is difficult I have to push it through at times. Other times just the opposite and it slips through I get more emotional than people expect from my usual serious personality. And though God forbid I will never admit it to Raff and be upset if you do, his teasing does help."

Miko actually laughed for a while before she commented in a lighter tone. "I wonder. Was it you or Triplex that wanted you to run away if Arcee pushed you to fight. It didn't sound like the young man I have witnessed. Especially when you jumped into danger on at least two separate sper of the moment decisions to save lives. Maybe more than his boring personality came through the merger. So Arcee is ok with me and other fembots joining?" I actually laughed before answering. "Very eager for you. Others she is very nervous and unsure. She wants to get to know them before accepting Solus's choices and so do I. Miko relaxed smiling as she gave her response. "If I don't agree you will be sorry Jack, but I have a feeling you are being sincere so I won't push. This time. Let's meet up with Fowler so I can see what this jet can do."

I increased thrust heading towards the location I got from Fowler saying he was on a top secret jet and was going to clear the area. I opened a com to Fowler in the cabin. "Hey Fowler. Jr. Couldn't make it how about you and I have a go at it without live rounds. I would hate to scratch that paint job." I hear back. "A little busy. A new Decepticon jet showed up. Optimus and Bee are engaging I am trying to assist. What the Sam Hill, a light just hit me."

I increase speed heading towards them thinking I know that light, because I used it for Trip's modes. "Miko strap in and hang on. I need to find out what is going on." As I approach I noticed not one but two jets in the air In a dogfight. Scanning I find witch jet Fowler is in. Fowler broke off trailing smoke as the Decepticon makes a pass at Optimus. After the run I see Bee driving up a cliff then transformed making a leap grabbing at the jet but it narrowly rolled out the way.

I decided to assist telling Miko. "Hold on this could get ruff." "Let's get him Jack!" Miko yelled as I opened a general com. "Hello whoever you are, let's talk civilized shall we? Why are you attacking them?" I get a fly bye with visual and instrument scanning and hear back. "I am Skyquake a proud Decepticon warrior. Long ago Megatron ordered me to kill Optimus. I will not disobey my leader whether he is alive or dead. I will complete my mission or die trying. State your interest in this I find no markings on your chasey or in your signal."

I answered very worried. "I am unaffiliated. However currently I am assisting the autobots, please stand down. I don't want to fight if it can be avoided." I watched him break away falling back to get me in his sights. Knowing I am not as fast or maneuverable as Jr. I immediately started evasive maneuvers as I heard. "You to will die." Knowing my surroundings helps as I duck into a ravine flying as low as I can. I started to increase speed hugging the walls. The walls and terrain shifted quickly left and right making it difficult for him.

As I increased speed I informed Miko in the cockpit. "I am familiar with the terrain he is not. I can't perform certain moves with you inside so I have to think smart. Hang on i have a plan. " The next straightaway even though I rolled I got clipped. Not enough to do major damage before we are in a more twisted path him not getting another clear shot Miko exclaimed. "Jack! What is happening? This helmet is melting over my body!" I hugged the ground knowing of an overhang is coming up. Without preparing early he scraped the wall as I answer. "The helmet is made out of little machines I can reshape. In an emergency it is programed to cover you in a thin body suit for protection." An immediate hard left, followed by a roll and an even harder right turn barely made a side cutout. Our pursuer couldn't make it and went up to get the drop on us. I continue describing as I break hard activating vertical flight. "It can withstand high caliber sniper rounds leaving just brusis, armor piercing can't even penetrate it. If you jumped off Arcee at 55 miles per hour you would survive. Speeds over that I won't guarantee."

I start pointing my nose up with seeing him passing my position with a satellite. Switching to regular thrust I gunned the throttle throwing Miko into the seat, and opened fire. Getting a few of my own shots in on his underside he rolled out my way. I rushed to my trump card knowing I got him mad. "Really it's that good?" Miko asked as I am almost at what some pilots called chicken run I taught the jet. "Are you a true warrior, or just a grunt? Come and get me if you have any courage!"

I watched him recover with my satellite while answering Miko. "Yes the millisecond they fell a severe impact they freeze into a solid body protecting the person inside. You might get a bruise but nothing more hopefully. they also initiate a interior inertia damper to help lesson the impact on the person inside."

I started a roll and dip again barely missing Getting shot. At speeds no sain pilot would attempt and only Longbow dared to follow me as we barrel down the tight gorge as I announced to Miko. "Ahhh chicken run. My most favorite place to lose my pursuers. Luckily he doesn't know this terrain." Miko very nervous asked. "Why do they call it chicken run?" I tell her as I increase speed the Decepticon getting angrier shooting blind now. Closely following us. "After a point you are weaving so much you can't pull out at these speeds."

"What!!" Miko exclaimed as I relaxed her with my wildcard. "Remember how we got away with Bulkhead." Just then as it gets narrow a vertical wall is in front of us a bridge near the ground opens as I dip down. The Decepticon focused on me following closely till I passed through and the bridge closed. Miko and I are watching from above in a bank so she can see out the side. "He made it!" Miko exclaimed seeing a jet coming out the top with a dust cloud until she realized it was missing all the wings off its right side, and leaking a blue liquid from its scraped chassis. As it was now spinning out of control doing a nosedive back into the canyon I comment. "Don't think so."

As I switched to vertical lift costing into the wreckage, Optimus and Bee drove up. I land then transformed Miko in my hand walking up as the Decepticon transformed almost dead and spoke to me. "You cheated." I answer him in a dull voice. "I am sorry I gave you a choice in the beginning. However on this planet we have a saying. All is fair in love and war." He looked at me and smiled. Speaking for the last time. "Spoken like a true warrior." Looking at a ridge nearby I noticed Soundwave transformed and flew off. Feeling like the danger has passed I set Miko down.

As Optimus sighed I asked. "Can we bury him? Is that appropriate for him I feel I owe him at least that." Optimus smiled at me nodding. Miko looked at my sad face, the weave retracted from her face and hands she tilted her head and asked. "What is different from him and the others you killed on the Nemesis?"

As I looked at Optimus he sighed and looked at Miko with now an equally sad face. "It is one of the darkest tales in the war. During one of the times the Decepticons were losing as the golden age of cybertron was dying out. A rogue group of Decepticons raided a birthing center. Cybertronians don't grow in females like humans. Our operating programs are merged together. Over a 6 month process earth time where the code is updated and recompiled repeatedly by both carriers every few weeks or so. After that is complete a one of a kind body is forged from the final composite to the merged bots code over the next two months." Miko asked. "Why so many deposits of code? Can't the machine copy it all at once?"

As Optimus and Bee looked at each other confused I spoke up. "It is designed that way on purpose." Watching everyone looking at me for the answer. "Solus told me that the primes saw how some of the creatures that they modeled the combination out nurtured their young. Especially if they had to help or continue to help in the development. Like a mother grows her child in her womb. Because a bot is fully functional except the... Well the pleasure system witch comes online a few years later, and the bot cannot grow inside the fembots safely because the child might very well be bigger than her overall frame size. They hoped that would cause the nurture instinct to trigger in both parents. Unfortunately in most bots it didn't. A very few did continue after the code was complete. Optimus and Bee look on with interest as to why it was created before Optimus shook his head and continued. "They attacked the facility, and made off with over 56 birthing chambers. They would have taken more as it was one of the main birthing centers. However they only took the empty chambers or chambers barely starting the cycle. Thinking that nobody would target or destroy the way we produce children, the scientists did not care to preserve them. They gutted the chambers and put only a set number of programmed weak forms for basic tasks. Along with the required software to perform those tasks. One ground combatant, one air combatant, one miner, and one scout.

By doing this the cut the bot creation time down to just under two months. They also have to follow every command as if there life depends on it. No free will.
