Okay, so I've been getting some reviews on this and I feel like I need to clarify. There are reviews saying that they can't see the poll and they want me to do something about it. From what I can gather, this is because people are reading on the mobile fanfiction site, which does not allow voting in the polls.
There is nothing I can do about this. This is an issue with how the fanfiction site is designed and there's no option for me to show it on mobile sites as well or I would've done so already. I know its frustrating, but getting annoyed at me or saying the poll isn't there won't fix things. I did some research and found some methods that could help.
For Google Chrome users:
So, what you're going to want to do is go to the bottoms of any FFN page and select the 'Help' option. Scroll down, and there'll be a 'Use the desktop site' option'.
Now, after clicking the link, it may still show the mobile version. In that case, hit the bottom-right symbol on Chrome's UI bar (the '...' to the right of the tabs buttons.) scroll down the pop-up menu, and hit 'Request Desktop Site'.
For iphone users:
Ok when enter Safari, go to FFN and on the left of the url is "AA" with the left A being smaller. Tap that and menu will appear. Hit the option "Request Desktop Website" option. That will allow to use the desktop version.
And if all methods fail then just post a vote in this specific chapter and I'll add them to the numbers when calculating. That's pretty much all I can do at this point since I can't change the website.
On a lighter note, I've noticed that Ruby has surpassed every other option in the poll and has over twice the votes as Weiss, who used to be her equal in numbers. For those who voted for her, could you explain your reasoning? It might help with writing the romance if she wins so I can get a gauge of what people see in this pair and their dynamic.
The spike seemed to happen during chapter 3 and one reviewer posited the idea that it's because of the hotel scene, but the same chapter also had Jaune sharing a heart to heart with Weiss where he called her out on her flaws and helped kickstart her character development, which I'd argue is just as if not more important than his scene with Ruby.
