Yeah, here it is: team MILF. I'll admit it's not my best work. The only one I really planned out was sorta Raven and the rest were a bit more slapdash. Either way I hope it's fine for you guys. This means the next omake is gonna be team Chaos, which does have a bit more setup in my head since I already know what it's about.

Anyway, I have another omake idea in mind that's the opposite of this. Go full Zettai Karen Children and have a teenage or older Jaune having to babysit a group of 10 (or 8 in Ruby's case) year old team RWBY who still have their Maiden abilities. That's more lighthearted slapstick since Jaune really does become team dad and has to act as their surrogate parent, especially in the case of Weiss.

As for Ruby, per the reviews I'll try to make it look more reciprocal since I've written Jaune so far as too distracted to ever do any romantic gestures or thoughts on Ruby. Hopefully I can make it work.

Side Note - A guest reviewer asked if I wouldn't mind if someone made smut chapters based on this story. I don't really see how it'd be any different than writing smut about canon RWBY, but if you wanna write one? Go right ahead. It's weirdly flattering, in a way.

Jaune Arc was a man who often questioned his choices in life. At seventeen years old he practically ran away from home with nothing but dreams, a sword, and a criminal lack of training and Aura. Two years later, at the ripe old age of nineteen, he'd successfully scammed his way into Beacon academy, was personally trained by a couple of professors, and helped four of the most powerful women on Remnant save the world from an evil Grimm Queen.

If you asked him how he got to that last point, he wouldn't be able to tell you. Literally. He either repressed it all out of trauma or got so blackout drunk on the victory party that it was erased from his mind. All he knew was that Professor Summer and Professor Raven did most of the work once he boosted their magic to literal ungodly levels and now Remnant was free from Salem's influence for the next couple of million years, give or take a millenia. Either way they'd be literal dust by the time Salem ever became a problem again, if she ever was.

Stopping the queen of all EVIL changed very little. Sure there wasn't some evil immortal manipulating things from behind the scenes anymore (unless you counted Ozpin), but it didn't magically fix all the problems they had. Grimm were still around, the kingdoms still got into pissing matches, and he still had to complete his last two years at Beacon academy despite literally helping save the world.

Which meant being a Teacher's Assistant for said most powerful women until he graduated.

What was he complaining about, you may ask. After all, he didn't have to attend classes, take exams, or pass projects. All he had to do was help four people who helped save the world teach their classes. He was lucky. Normally he'd agree...

...if said women weren't some of the most headache-inducing people he'd ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Alright, maybe that wasn't fair, you'd say. They saved the world, so what if they had a couple of issues? Hell, most of the student body either hated him or were jealous of him being able to spend so much time with 'Beacon's hottest MILFs', end quote. Ha, he'd say to that, ha. They wouldn't survive a day in his shoes.

The fact that he knew their daughters should've made it easier. He'd made friends with team RWBY at the start of his third year, shortly before they went on that journey to the grimmlands. They were nice. Weiss was kinda haughty and Blake was closed off at first, but after he bailed them out of being expelled (or worse) after Blake ran off and fought Roman Torchwick at the docks, he was confident in saying they were friends.

Said friendship didn't help much. Sure, Professor Summer liked him better cause he was friends with her precious babies, but the relationship the other three had with their mothers wasn't exactly stable. Professor Willow spent most of Weiss' childhood plastered and Professor Raven ran off without even changing a single one of Yang's diapers. Meanwhile Professor Kali - poor, sweet Kali - really just wanted to bond with her prodigal daughter, but Blake still somehow had it in her head that she didn't deserve a relationship with her mom after she ran away and didn't even attend her dad's funeral.

Then there was him, trapped in the middle and trying to help them work it out to...mixed results.

Jaune's alarm rang and he rubbed his eyes blearily, "Mgh..." He rolled over onto his stomach and groaned. It was Monday, so he had to prepare for another week of classes. Summer was first, "Ugh..." He pressed his face against the pillows for a moment before forcing himself to stand. Grimm Studies with Professor Summer Rose was at least stable. Unlike Peter (who Jaune sincerely hoped was enjoying his retirement with the newly wedded Mrs. Camille Port), she didn't usually bring Grimm to class.

"Jaune, it's morning!"

On the other hand, she insisted on waking him up every time he had class with her.

"I'm coming..." Jaune stood and trudged to the door. He didn't have a team, not since he was officially attached to four teachers, which meant having a room for his own. On the bright side it meant he didn't have to fight over anyone for the shower...unless Professor Raven stumbled into his room drunk. Or Professor Willow stumbled into his room drunk. Or Professor Kali needed someone to reassure her that her daughter didn't hate her.

He ended up having to fight for his shower a lot, actually.

Jaune opened the door to see the brightly smiling face of one Professor Summer Rose. Even after knowing her for a couple of years, he still found it hard to believe the woman was old enough to have a fifteen year old daughter. She had no wrinkles or any other obvious signs of aging, and when he visited their cabin in Patch the woman looked identical in the old family photos back when Yang and Ruby were still in the single digits. It was like she was frozen in time, as Professor Raven often grumbled about.

"Morning," she chirped, ignoring the bags under his eyes and how pale his face looked, "Long night?"

"Willow needed a drinking partner." He didn't even know why he kept agreeing to it.

"Aww, do you need to take a day off?" she asked sweetly.

"No, I'm fine." He shook his head and forced a smile. One bright side of becoming a functioning alcoholic before he hit twenty was an increased tolerance. Thanks to Aura he didn't even need much to deal with the hangovers, "Just gimme a couple of minutes and I'll be good."

"Alright, I'll see you in class." She patted his shoulder sympathetically and walked off. Jaune sighed. She was too good to him. Unlike the other three Professors, she at least functioned day-to-day without needing to be wrangled. Of course, that only meant that when the problems did come - and they always did - he went back to questioning his choice to accepting Ozpin's deal.

Still, he guessed it wasn't all bad. After her husband's death she'd devoted her life to her daughters and then the eradication of Salem. Once the latter was dealt with she was finally allowed to slow down and enjoyed teaching the next generation of Huntsmen. At the very least she wasn't forced into it like Professor Raven was, who'd sworn up and down that if Ozpin didn't have her neck in a vice she would've been leading her clan.

He went through his daily ritual and chugged a thermos full of coffee as he walked to class, "Hey, Jaune." He looked back and smiled when he saw Ruby and Weiss walking to class behind him.

"Hey. Just you two?"

"Yang insisted on taking time in the shower to do her hair and Blake chose to stay behind so she doesn't throw a fit about us 'abandoning' her." Weiss rolled her eyes, arms crossed, "Are you alright? You seem off."

"Had a rough night." The stench of coffee at least masked the alcohol in his breath, "Come on, we should get to class."

Helping Professor Summer didn't really take much. Unlike Professor Willow, who needed meticulous setup for her Dust experiments, he mostly stood to the side and paid attention to the class. Most of the time it was a boring but safe job. Whenever they needed practical experience she prepared a a field trip to the Emerald Forest, which he helped her prepare for.

Sadly, this was not a safe day.

Jaune's eyes focused on one Cardin Winchester, who was whispering to his teammate Russell Thrush and pointing at Ruby who sat at front. Cardin Winchester was, to put it bluntly, an annoying, racist little shit. Well, little might not be the correct term. The guy was as tall as a gorilla and built like one too. Didn't change the fact that he was a constant pain in the ass.

He was the only son of a council member, had everything he wanted handed to him since before he could walk, and his dad bailed him out of any trouble he got into. Surprise, surprise, that led to a teenager who thought he could do whatever he wanted without consequences. While he was smart enough not to try anything in Professor Raven's class - cause no amount of clout would keep her from shoving Omen up his ass if he pissed her off - Professor Kali had to deal with the worst of it.

She'd taken her dear departed husband's words of pacifism to heart and refused to do anything more than hand out detentions whenever he made racist insults, which he didn't care about anyway if it meant making fun of an 'animal'. He was high on his own invincibility and thought that he was untouchable.

Which was probably why he thought making trouble in Professor Summer's class would end the same way.

Jaune moved just as Cardin pulled out the bright red balloon from under the table and tossed it at the back of Ruby's head. The younger Rose's eyes widened, Huntress trained instincts realizing something was wrong, and twisted her head around just in time for Jaune to block her back and take the full force of the popped balloon on his armored chest.

"Jaune!" Ruby shouted. Yang's eyes turned a shade of blood red and she looked she was about to stand up and throttle Cardin right then and there before he spoke up.

"I'm fine, it's just glue." He grimaced and stepped away, ignoring the amused chuckles of team CRDL.

Said laughter slowed to a crawl when the temperature in the room turned into a deathly chill, "Hm..." The entire class' attention snapped to Professor Summer and Jaune winced when he saw the silvery fire at the edges of her eyes. While only he, the staff, and team RWBY actually knew about the Maidens, the display of open power was enough to intimidate anyone; and that included team CRDL, if their sudden looks of regret were any indication.

Summer didn't hand out detentions. She made you wish she did.

"Professor Summer-"

"Jaune, would you take the class to an impromptu field trip to the Emerald Forest? Except team CRDL, of course." She smiled sweetly. No one, least of all said team, was fooled, "I think we need to have a...talk about their behavior."

"Mom-"

"It's Professor while we're at school, dear," Professor Summer said to Ruby, ignoring her own little slip at the end, "Go on now, teacher's orders." Well, he wasn't gonna argue there. He ushered the class out, all of them (sans Yang and Blake who wanted to stay and watch) eager to leave team CRDL in the grave of their own making. Just before led the last the student out and closed the door he heard Cardin plead.

"W-Wait, we'll take the detention. Just-"

"Oh, Mr. Winchester. Detention only works if people regretted their actions. No, I think it's better if your team and I have a talk about your recent behavior. Not just with Ruby, but Kali as well." She laughed. It was a harbinger of their end. "Don't worry, I'll be gentle."

Gentle, which meant they would still be able to walk by the time they day was done. How generous of her.

Jaune closed the door just as all of team CRDL screamed and begged for mercy.

Professor Willow Schnee was a bit of an enigma. Widow to the late Jacques Schnee and owner of the SDC, she was one of the most influential women alive on Remnant. Why she chose to stay as the Dust science professor at Beacon was a mystery to him. All he knew was that she'd fired just about all of the previous board members she could feasibly get rid of (cause apparently Jacques made himself both CEO and Chairman, which was a pretty bad move in hindsight) then left her eldest daughter, Winter Schnee, in charge.

She was also a raging alcoholic who couldn't seem to go a day without treating every hour like happy hour. How she hadn't died from liver poisoning he had no idea; personally, he figured she had a cybernetic replacement, which wouldn't be a surprise considering what General Ironwood was like. She could more than afford it, at least. Even if she wasn't the CEO anymore she was still a billionaire. The vintage of the wines she drank said it all.

And yet despite said alcoholism she was an absolute genius in Dust application and usage. Despite what Weiss may have thought, the woman hadn't made a single mistake in any of her classes and handled any and all experiments with the grace and finesse of a dancer no matter how sloshed she was. He was pretty sure the day she turned up to class sober was the day the school would suddenly explode.

Of course, that meant she was a handful to deal with.

Jaune put in the spare key Willow gave him and turned the lock. Just cause she was a genius in class didn't mean she was punctual about it. For those first couple of weeks he had to knock on her door to wake her up before she just tossed him a key and said to let himself in. If Weiss had anything to say about him visiting her mom's room so frequently, she didn't say them out loud.

The stench of alcohol hit him as soon as the door opened. After years of dealing with it, it barely affected him anymore, "Professor Willow, it's time for class." He pulled the curtains open and ignored her pained maon. Believe it or not, she was actually better than before. While she'd packed enough alcohol on the trip to the Grimmlands to avoid going cold turkey, she'd restricted herself to a couple of bottles a day rather than a couple in the morning. Progress was slow but it was there.

"I'm invoking my right to have a sick day, Jaune."

"That would only work if you were sick, and we both know you can teach class perfectly once you've had your coffee and morning shower."

"Ugh..."

"Come on, don't forget we have lunch with Weiss. You promised her."

"I did, didn't I?" She sat up and ran a hand through her long, disheveled hair. Jaune looked away and coughed at the sight of her exposed state and the nightgown that did little to hide how well she held up despite years of alcoholism and three children, "Thank you for coming along, Jaune."

"No problem." He didn't know why he still had to come along, but both mother and daughter agreed that it was for the best if he did. He didn't know whether to be flattered or really worried that they both thought that.

Class went by without incident. Team CRDL had been extremely quiet ever since Professor Summer's 'talk' with them and everyone else paid rapt attention as the former CEO of the SDC rattled off about Dust factoids and practical applications. None moreso than Weiss, who took meticulous notes and answered every question posed. No matter how strained the relationship was, the younger Schnee's eyes always lit up when her mom started lessons.

Maybe it reminded her of the times before Willow descended to alcoholism, but that was a depressing thought so he didn't delve more into it.

Lunch was a typically fancy affair. Instead of the Beacon cafeteria, the mother-daughter pair had chosen a fancy restaurant that he couldn't afford even with a year of his stipend/salary. He felt distinctly out of place in his hoodie and jeans, and yet neither of the two paid it any mind and commenced the weekly awkward small talk. The same thing they'd always do ever since he started forcing them to interact.

The first time he'd set the meeting up, he didn't question being present. He figured he'd go to a couple of meetings to help break the ice and then the two could handle it from there. Now they were on their seventh weekly lunch trip and any attempts to excuse himself were loudly vetoed by both.

They were once again talking about how classes went and Jaune sighed. Alright, he didn't wanna do this, but they left him no choice, "Hold up." He clapped his hands, drawing both of their attention, "New rule. No talking about classes or work or anything professional while you two are here."

Weiss looked like she'd just been slapped while Willow suddenly looked scared. Okay, that was just sad, "But Jaune-"

"No buts," he said, cutting Weiss off, "You two aren't going to be able to fix anything if all you ever talk about is school! I can tell you both want to try, so one of you is gonna have to make the plunge. Who's it going to be?"

"Can't we just-"

"No, Willow," he said, so caught up in the moment he forgot to add Professor to her name, "Just...try, please."

Mother and daughter looked at one another for a moment before, with a sigh, Weiss unleashed almost a decade of pent-up resentment and anger. Jaune could only thank small mercies that Willow had gotten them a private booth so no one could see the drama unfolding.

Once Weiss was done Willow had tried her best to respond, first starting with Weiss' tenth birthday party when she'd started drinking and going from there. Weiss looked shocked at her father having outright claimed to not care for any of his children. She'd still held onto the hope that Jacques Schnee had one shred of decency in him and now here Willow was stomping it to the ground.

By the time everything was done, the pair of them were in tears and promising that, even if they couldn't regain the relationship they once had, they should at least make an honest effort to try no matter how hard it was.

Weiss excused herself soon after to freshen up in the bathroom, leaving him and Willow alone in the booth, "Thank you, Jaune." She smiled at him. Without the residual depression and throes of alcoholism, she looked a decade younger.

"Didn't really do much." He shrugged and smiled back, "So I guess this means you won't need me to sit in anymore, huh?"

"I don't see any reason to change things now," Willow said. He had to admit, it surprised him, "You're the only reason I can talk to my daughter freely again. As far as I'm concerned, you're family."

"Wow...that's, um, thanks, Professor." How sweet.

"Please, Jaune, call me Willow." There was...something different with her smile now. And wow, she was leaning in pretty close, "Hmm, could you give me some time alone to discuss something with Weiss? It's a bit personal, you see."

"Uh...sure, no problem." He slipped out of his chair just a little too quickly and passed by the returning Weiss, who gave him a grateful nod of her own. Jaune closed the door behind him and made his way downstairs when he heard the younger Schnee scream.

"NO, I WILL NOT CALL JAUNE DADDY!"

...

He was gonna get drunk and pretend today never happened.

Professor Kali Belladonna was a sweet woman. With her Maiden powers, and the friendship it allowed her to establish with Professor Willow, she'd made great strides in improving the treatment of Faunus all across Remnant...well, Mistral was still kind of a shithole, but that was Mistral. Apart from Pyrrha Nikos they really didn't have anything to be proud of. Can't fix what's too broken.

Sadly, all her accomplishments didn't help fix her relationship with her daughter. Blake was as stubborn as a mule (and no, that wasn't a Faunus joke) and still refused to let her mom in, too intent to punish herself for cutting off contact half a decade ago. With a martyred husband and an estranged daughter, the poor woman had no family to call her own.

Which left her trying to substitute it with other people, namely him.

"Oh, Jaune, you're still so thin." Kali frowned, slathering another helping of some Menagerie dish at his plate, "You need to eat more."

"U-Ugh, thank you, Professor Kali." Jaune forced a smile as he shoveled another forkful of spicy noodles into his mouth. He was full to bursting right now, but he couldn't disappoint her. Even though she wasn't his mom she definitely acted like it a lot of the time. Always worrying about his health, questioning him on how his training went, asking if he was dating anyone, and that maybe if he did in the future he'd consider Blake cause she was 'such a lonely girl'.

Haha, yeah, no. He'd prefer someone a bit less high maintenance. And not as prone to running away.

"You need to take better care of yourself. You're too young to let yourself go."

"Ahaha, yeah..." She kinda had a point, but right now he really couldn't afford to start getting on a health plan. Not with Professor Summer getting into a war with Wardes Winchester about what happened to Cardin. That and Willow, for some reason he definitely didn't know about, asking him what he thought about older women. He got the feeling that it was connected to why Weiss wouldn't stop glaring at him and saying she wasn't looking for another father figure.

The door slammed open and Yang ran inside, panting and red-faced, "Big problem, Mrs. B." The other blonde put her hands on her knees and coughed, "Blake ran away."

"Oh dear, what is it this time? Did she not study for the test? Or was it because the Schnee girl and her had an argument again? You know, she really needs to find a better way to cope with her problems."

"Not the usual reasons. She was saying something about how her ex-boyfriend was in town and trying to make another terrorist attack? She didn't really explain herself. Guess she thought she'd handle it all on her own."

"And...why didn't she tell the teachers?" Jaune asked.

"You're asking me? I'm her partner, not a mind reader." Yang shrugged, "For some reason she thinks she's the only one who can solve problems around here. No idea why."

Jaune was about say something when a clap of thunder rang outside, "Adam's back, hm?" Kali asked, sipping at her tea with practiced grace. Her closed eyes and pleasant smile did little to hide the absolute fury in her words, "And just when I gave that young man the benefit of the doubt because of Blake's past relationship with him. Well, that won't be a mistake I'll make again."

"Uh...Professor Kali?" The clouds outside stirred, shifting from a bright blue to a stormy gray.

"If he's even hurt one hair on my kitten's head, I'll make him wish he was never born." Her voice hadn't shifted in the least, but both he and Yang still shivered, "I'm sorry, Jaune, I'm afraid we'll have to cut dinner short."

"N-No prob." He gulped, "I should probably go with you." Just so she didn't destroy half of Vale looking for this Adam guy, "You coming, Yang?"

"You serious? Uh-uh. Blake's my partner and I love her, but she dug her grave here."

"Yeah, I don't blame you."

A couple of hours later and Adam Taurus' White Fang breakaway sect learned a valuable lesson: just cause Kali Belladonna preached for peace, didn't mean she wouldn't go to war; especially not if her daughter was on the line. All of the White Fang that tried to attack her were left sprawled on the ground, alive but in unimaginable pain. Probably hadn't helped that he'd charged her up before they went to the abandoned warehouse the group used as a base.

Adam had taken the worst of it. The Bull Faunus was a charred, twitching mess, his precious sword lying shattered next to him. Still alive, but probably wishing he wasn't. Even Blake looked sorry for him, though that might have just been mortification at the fact that the mother she'd avoided so long had come to her rescue.

"Mom-"

Professor Kali slapped her. It wasn't a powerful blow, but it was enough to stop whatever excuse Blake had, "I don't need to gear it, I know what you're going to say. Adam is 'your responsibility' and you thought you had to be the one to stop him, right?"

"...Yeah."

Professor Kali sighed, "Okay, that's enough. I tried to be nice before, but it's clear that isn't working. If you're so certain that everything is your responsibility and that I still blame you for the actions you look when you were twelve, then I'll just have to prove you wrong." And then she smiled. There was nothing good behind the gesture and Blake shivered, "Now come on, let's go."

"Wh-Where are we going?"

"Making up for five years of missing mother-daughter time. It's a good thing I brought the family photo album with me. And they have baby pictures." Blake gasped like she'd just been stabbed and Kali rolled her eyes, "Oh please, I already showed them to Jaune. Wasn't my little kitten the most adorable thing?"

"Y-Yup." He was not gonna disagree with her, not while they were surrounded by her handiwork, "Totally adorable."

"Jaune!" Blake hissed.

"Oh hush now, he's just being honest. Speaking of Jaune, now that we both definitely know that Adam is out of the picture, what do you think about him? I know things didn't work with that Wukong lad, but he's blonde too and just as charming!"

"Mom, no!"

"Blake, yes." Kali beamed, utterly shameless now that she decided being nice wasn't the way to go, "Just think about it. He's young, charming and I already approve of him. A few years down the line when you graduate you can have a litter of kittens of your own!"

"Should we really be having this conversation right now?" Jaune asked.

"Oh, nobody minds, right?" Kali asked. The few White Fang breakaways still capable of speech vocalized a negative, "See?"

Jaune just gave up and let Kali lead them back to Beacon. Well...at least she was happier now, even if she still thought he and Blake was ever gonna be a thing.

Professor Raven Branwen was...actually, he was gonna be blunt: she was a pain in the ass. Despite approaching middle age, she dressed and acted like an edgy teenager and was obsessed with strength, which she proved by taking on people who were objectively weaker than her. He too was stronger than a ten year old, but that didn't exactly make him feel like a tough guy, now did it?

Add to that the fact that she was an objectively terrible person. Apart from abandoning her daughter and late ex-husband, she also led a tribe of bandits who ran around doing bandit-y things. Sure, helping save the world and every person inside it did a lot to make up for that, but the sheer lack of regret and refusal to apologize left a bad taste in his mouth. He didn't even know how she got Maiden powers, but he was pretty sure she killed someone for them.

She wasn't even a good teacher, as she was proving now.

"Pathethic," she spat, glaring in distaste at her students, all of whom were sprawled out on the floor of the combat arena. Yes, all of them, including Yang and Pyrrha, though they'd lasted the longest.

The reason for said students being pounded to the ground was Professor Branwen walking into class in a bad mood and unilaterally deciding that everyone inside deserved F's. When they'd very obviously complained about such unfair treatment, she unsheathed her sword - which she'd of course given the edgy name Omen - and said that anyone who wanted to contest otherwise could fight her for it. Which, of course, led to the entire class fighting her thirty on one.

Which would've been absurdly unfair for her...if she didn't have Maiden powers. Because she did, and had years to learn how to use them, the entire class found itself getting shocked, zapped, frozen, fried, cut by razor wind, and generally getting the absolute hell kicked out of them.

And of course Professor Raven used it as proof that she was right all along. Typical.

When he'd asked Professor Glynda how she hadn't gotten fired considering the blatant abuse of power (in more ways than one), she'd just given him the must haunted, broken look and said "Ozpin". He didn't again more after that.

"Hey, Arc, get over here." Professor Raven sat at the stands and Jaune sighed, already knowing what she wanted him to do. While the other professors just needed someone to help set up class or talk to them, Professor Raven thought being a teacher's aide meant he was her personal gopher. He wanted to contest that, but he didn't fancy getting a sword shoved up his ass, so no thanks.

Jaune massaged her shoulders as he always did. If he wasn't doing this he was carrying her stuff, running errands for her, or taking part in her pissing matches with Ozpin. And of course he'd never so much as heard a single 'thank you' or 'good job' from the woman. The highest praise she ever gave him was saying that his food 'tasted decent', which wasn't saying a lot since up until a couple years ago she lived in a bandit camp.

He took it all without a complaint. Besides being scared of the woman, he did make an honest effort to keep the peace around here. Without Salem around, those four and Ozpin were the only ones capable of using magic in the entire world. The last thing anyone needed was one of them getting pissed off and declaring war on Remnant something. Especially not former bandit queens who didn't care about civilian casualties.

"Don't forget we still have training later," she said, "I won't have anyone helping me be such a weakling."

"Yay..."

"What was that?"

"I mean 'thank you for helping me, Professor Raven'."

Training with Professor Raven wasn't much more pleasant than class with her. The woman was a strict taskmaster and reminded him just a bit too much of Professor Qrow's old lessons. Sadly, said lessons didn't really help him. Growing up with the guy meant she knew all his tricks, even the classics like Pocket Sand or the 'Look behind you!'. Damn Branwens and their dirty tricks.

But things were different today. Maybe it was cause she was still nursing a hangover, maybe it was because she fought thirty students at once, but she was a bit sloppier than normal. Whatever it was, it was enough for him to deflect Omen's blade and hit her with a good stab in the neck.

She still beat his ass, of course, but she'd actually commended him for it and said he really was improving. Granted she'd given herself credit for taking the time to 'train his weak ass', but whatever, he'd take.

And then she said something he didn't expect.

"Alright, what do you want?'

"...What?"

"What do you want?" she said again, "According to this teacher's guidebook thing Sum's forcing me to read, if a student does good then the teacher's supposed to give them a prize." Jaune looked at the cover and grimaced. The cover made it obvious it was meant people teaching kindergardeners and grade schoolers, but he wasn't gonna point that out or the fact that Professor Summer probably gave it to her as a prank.

An idea suddenly popped into his head. Maybe he could kill two nevermores with one stone, "I can ask for anything?"

Professor Raven raised a brow, "Sure, but I can cut your dick off afterwards if I don't like it. Now what do you want?"

Jaune smiled, "I want you to talk to Yang."

"...What?"

"Talk. To. Yang." It was perfect. He could get revenge for all the gopher work and force the two to actually talk to instead of at one another.

"No. Not happening." She turned to walk away when he suddenly spoke again.

"Breaking a promise? Weak." She froze and turned back to him, eyes burning with Maiden power. He kept going even though he just about wanted to piss himself, "You said I could ask for anything and then you back out the first thing? Nice."

"...I know what you're doing. You're baiting me, just like Tai did. It's not gonna work."

"Sure, go ahead then. I'll just let everyone know that Professor Raven Branwen wussed out at the first sign of trouble."

She grit her teeth and for a second he thought she'd zap him then and there. Instead she took a deep breath and said in a low growl, "One talk, that's it. And only because you asked this as your prize like an idiot."

A couple of days later and he was hanging outside the training arena. Professor Raven had invited Yang over for a spar, which her daughter had agreed to, mostly out of confusion that the woman was reaching out at all.

It only took half an hour before an explosion came from inside the arena. Jaune couldn't even pretend to be surprised and just watched as Yang and Professor Raven stomped out, cursing at her mother who cursed at her right back. The two's argument lasted for five minutes before Yang gave her two middle fingers and stalked back to her room.

"...How did it go?"

"Better than I thought. We agreed to spar again in a couple of days?" Jaune raised a brow. Alright, he wasn't gonna argue. The Branwens just had their own ways, "There, I did you your favor, and I'm nice enough that I won't cut your little worm off for it."

"You're welcome."

"Don't push it, brat." She scoffed and looked away, "You really are just like Tai..." she probably hadn't meant for him to hear that last part.

Jaune stretched his arms above his head and groaned. He could use a drink, "Hey, you wanna blow off some steam?"

Professor Raven froze and then the impossible happened: she dropped her sword. Jaune looked at the fallen blade in shock. As far as he'd known her, she never let it leave her side. She went to bed with it, went to the shower with it and, if Professor Summer was telling the truth, gave birth to Yang still holding it instead of her ex-husband's hand. He wouldn't have been surprised if she came out of her own mom wielding it.

"...What did you say?"

"I said you wanna let off some steam? I know this really good place that-"

Professor Raven hissed and picked up Omen again. Jaune barely dodged back and kept her from stabbing him in the chest, "Oh no, I've been here before! The last time I 'let off some steam' with a dumb blonde I ended up with Yang. Well, I'm not getting pregnant again! Get back! Back, I say!"

"What?! Where the hell did that come from?! I just wanted-"

"Oh, I know exactly what you want, mini-Tai. You think I don't know what you tried to do to the Schnee? First you get her getting along with her daughter and then you swoop in. Well, I'm not falling for it!"

With that, she turned on her heels and stomped off, leaving him alone and confused in the halls. Pregnant? What the hell? He knew she came from a bandit tribe, but did she still think babies came because she went out somewhere with a guy? He'd have thought spending nine months with Yang in her belly would change that.

Soft giggles came from behind and a hand patted his shoulder, "Rae hasn't changed a bit." Professor Summer said to his right, "Thank you for doing this. She and Yang can never be mom and daughter, but at least they're talking now."

"I guess so."

"Hm..." He turned and saw Professor Summer looking up at him with her bright silver eyes, "You know...you really do look like Tai."

"What?"

"Oh, nothing." She stepped away from him and giggled again. Jaune watched her leave, even more confused than before.

Being the four Maidens, it was inevitable that people would come after them. Other academies that wanted prestigious people in their halls, General Ironwood wanting them in active battle zones, people betting on tournaments that wanted them entered into the circuit and so on and so forth.

It was pretty rare for someone to try and kill them, though.

"Mmmphh!" The bound and gagged woman, one Cinder Fall, squirmed and trashed at the floor of his room. All around her were the four Professor with looks ranging from concern (Summer and Kali), annoyance (Raven), and utter indifference (Willow).

"...What is going on here?" Jaune asked.

"Found this one skulking in the halls an hour ago." Raven scoffed, "Dunno if you recognize her, but she's one of Salem's pets. The one who ran away when her master got shoved into that jar."

"Grgghhh! Mpphhh!" He could feel the hate radiating from the tied-up brunette, but no one really paid her any serious mind.

"Why is she tied up in my room then?"

The four professors looked at one another and Summer shrugged, "Your place was the closest," she said, utterly shameless. Jaune sighed, "Anyway, we were just discussing what we're going to do with her. We figured you'd want to weigh in."

"Why is this even a discussion?" Raven unsheathed Omen and aimed the tip at the bound woman's neck. Cinder let out a muffled squeal and scrambled back, "She came here to kill us, just like she tried to do before. Fair's fair so I saw we cut her head off and call it a day."

"I don't think you can really claim self-defense when she's tied up, Rae."

"You could say it's pre-emptive self-defense," Willow said, nursing a cup of coffee. After her talk with Weiss she'd massively cut down on her booze consumption, replacing alcohol addiction with caffeine addiction. Hey, at least it was better than before.

"That. I like that idea." Raven nodded.

"Or we could just throw her in jail. I'm pretty sure siding with the queen of all Grimm's gotta be worth a couple of life sentences," Jaune said.

"Hmm, I dunno." Kali put a hand on her cheek, "You know her background, right? Poor girl was taken in by that awful madam and treated as a slave. She never really had a chance, if you think about it."

"Uh...she's an adult now. No matter how tragic her past is, she did kinda side with the queen of evil," Jaune said. Granted she wasn't very competent about it. Her evil plan was to sneak into the school and take out the teachers; a gambit that would've been a whole lot more effective if she didn't try to pass herself off as a first year transfer student at twenty five.

"Yeah, but since we stopped Salem the only person she actually killed was her evil family and the dumb Hunstman who didn't just take her out of that horrible place. I'd say they kinda deserved it." Summer paused, "Oh, and she tried to kill us, but since that failed she's actually killed less innocent people than Rae."

"Fuck you." Raven gave her the middle finger. Again, edgy teenager.

"Alright, so what's your plan?" Jaune asked.

...

"Kids, meet your new big sister."

Ruby and Yang gaped as Summer pushed forward a very reluctant Cinder Fall- or Cinder Rose, as she was now known. He had no idea how in the hell Summer got legally binding documents that allowed her to adopt a twenty five year old against her will, but at this point he'd learned not to question such things.

It was at times like these that he wondered just how much simpler life would be if it team RWBY that got the Maiden powers instead of their mothers. Sure it wouldn't have been flawless, but life with those four instead was probably a whole lot less insane than it was right now.

"Mom, you cannot be serious!" Yang shouted.

"I am." Summer nodded, "Kali was right that she never really had a chance without a good family. I'm giving her one."

"What if she tries to kill you again?" Ruby asked worriedly.

"Oh, she won't. Because if she tries, or hurts either of you two or Jaune, then I'll beat her ass so black and blue she'll never able to sit again." Summer smiled; it promised pain and suffering. Cinder shivered and nodded meekly, "Don't worry, she's not staying at your dorm. We're giving her her own room and testing things out. For now I just wanna introduce her to her new little sisters."

Yang and Ruby glared at their newest sibling. Cinder didn't notice, still too intimidated by her new mother figure.

"I can't believe this." Yang brought a hand through her hair, "What next, are you gonna introduce us to a new dad or something?"

Summer gave Jaune a sideways glance and smiled mysteriously, "Hm...maybe. We'll see how things go."

Whatever her two daughters saw in the gesture, it was nothing good. Ruby looked like she was about to pass out while Yang stumbled to the bathroom and hurled. Jaune sighed and questioned his life choices for the dozenth time that day.

Poor Jaune. At least Kali isn't after him personally and just wants to set him up with Blake...though depending on your point of view, that might be worse. Meanwhile, Raven is reminded way too much of Taiyang and goes full edgy teenager when she's near him.

Ah well, at least Cinder gets adopted into a happy and stable family at the age of 25, and if Summer has her way she'll get a new dad who's 6 years younger than her.

Like I said before, next omake will be team Chaos which consists of Cinder, Neo, Bleiss, and Pyrrha. That one's more comedic in nature since Cinder is more her Chibi counterpart while Bleiss and Neo's presence pretty much ensures Pyrrha will go to desperate measures to avoid getting blocked from Jaune.

Question:

1. Would you guys be interested in a love triangle? While I'm against writing harems, a Jaune/Ruby/Yang love triangle might be feasible. At the very least I could see it opening up new kinds of interactions for the individual characters such as forcing Jaune to think about his feelings more instead of being distracted with everything else.

I'll also avoid the usual conflict trope so Ruby and Yang aren't gonna suddenly snap or attach each other over a guy. It would function more as a rivalry than them being enemies.

Review Answers:

roxasdualwielder - The one Faunus trait thing is canon. As for Ironwood, he doesn't have access to their schedules. Qrow and others watch over them in the weekends.

icemaxprime - Her revenge is telling her parents Jaune proposed. Assuming Jaune doesn't back down, it'll end with the two of them being married and getting kids just so they can keep one-upping each other.

Chuck B. Winanaki - Jaune just looks calm cause we don't see from his POV. If we did we would've seen him internally shitting bricks. And no, Ilia was friend-zoned so no ex there.

spartastic 4 - Well, it does have the humor/drama tags, so yeah. It's primarily written as a dramedy in mind with the comedy and jokes coming in when the team isn't being targeted by the various factions and villains.

sos read - I did write Ruby as having a crush before she won the polls; the intention was that she'd get rejected for another girl or Jaune choosing to remain celibate if Lancaster didn't win. Also, I don't think if he rejects Ruby he'd be an 'asshole'. No one's pressuring him to date Ruby, not even Yang who wants to see her sister happy.

As for why Ruby fell for him? Cause he was her friend and helped her. There's no deep reason, and Ruby acknowledges that it's not Love but rather a crush and she wants to see where it goes. They're teenagers, stuff like that happens.
