Sitting on a bench at the U of Sunnydale, Buffy rested her head in her hands.
When did life get so complicated? She thought as the tears began to run down her cheeks for the first. It seemed as though everything in Buffy's life didn't seem to fit together. She knew that she had so many reasons to be happy, but she just couldn't seem to find the will to see the joy that was right in front of her.
To make things even weirder, she was beginning to question her sexuality. A few weeks into the school year, Buffy started to feel yearnings towards her best friend, in ways that made her a little anxious.
Maybe I should tell her how I feel… I'd do anything to quell this pain!
There was a rustle in the bushes, and Buffy looked up to see a vampire appear before her.
Just what I need…She got up and pulled a stake from her sleeve.
"Okay, I don't really feel like making this a long fight, so do you think that you could just let me stake you now? I mean, we both now that I wi- Jesus Christ!" the vampire charged at her, ramming a blow into her gut. She quickly recovered with a returning punch in the vampire's face, making him stager back, leaving enough time for Buffy to shove a stake right through his heart.
"I'm going to tell her!" Buffy spoke out loud.
She sighed, and went back to her dorm building. The one thing she wanted right now, that she knew for sure, was to just be with her best friend. Buffy felt her feet lead her to her dorm, which she shared with Willow.
Her heart was pounding. What if thinks that I am too strange, and won't talk to me again… Oh, shut up! How old are we, again?
She opened the door…and no one was there. The weary body she had fell into the bed, utterly depressed that the one time when she was ready to tell Willow how she felt- there was no Willow to tell it to.

Willow opened the door to her dorm. Buffy was fast asleep on her bed, a suppressed look of worry etched in her skin.
New evil? She wondered, after all, Buffy only got worried about a "big-bad-evil," she if she looked worried in her sleep. There must be something wrong.
Oh God… the world's going to end!But Willow was too tired to care- she had just been studying like a maniac in the library for a test tomorrow. She quickly got ready for bed, and slid in under her sheets. Before she turned off the light, though, she glanced over at Buffy. She looked so… smooth and peaceful, in a stressed sort of way, yet her slumber was able to make it look… different.
"Good-night, Buffy," Willow turned off the light and snuggled into her blankets, before drifting off into sleep.
I know that this was a short one, but they will get longer and better. Please review, I would like that very much.
