Chapter six:

Training begins!

Sorry for the delay on uploading the next chapter, but here it is.

Had a bit of issues going on that's kept me from doing this, but I'm not going to let it stop me from completing it. I started to re-watch the show just to make sure I can get the characters right, I do apologise if some are a bit OCC.

With Jeremy's ghost form, he was injected by a serum created by Technus and Vlad... That serum can be removed from his system, allowing him to become human. As he did not become a ghost the same way Danny became a ghost. The serum was created from taking DNA ghost particles from the ghosts in the ghost zone which enabled the creation of Technus serum... making him become the most powerful ghost scientist possible.

Jeremy will be taught the harsh way on training with his ghost powers, which helps him become the villain that he needs to be, where as Sam's training will be done by the heart of her friends as well as maintaining her social life & school

Tuckers pet slime, will become more useful with the gang once it ages, it almost becomes like a pet sidekick? you can already see the bond between him and Tucker.

When Jeremy woke up, his head hurt like hell. He groaned in pain when he tried to discover his new surroundings. 'Where am I?' he thought to himself. He doesn't recognise this place at all. With the small strength that he had, he pushed himself up from the bed. "Good morning, Mr Manson." Jeremy gasped in shock. In front of him stood a digital robot. The robot looked identical to Maddie. Anger boiled inside of him, from just thinking about the Fenton's.

"Where am I?" Jeremy asked, as he got off the bed, his balance wobbled at first, but he regains his stance. "You're at Vlad's mansion in the ghost world." Spoke the robot. She gestured him to follow her to the door. "Ghost world?" Jeremy repeated. He followed the robot and left the room, his eyes went wide as most paintings where floating. "Am I dead?" Jeremy asked, the robot simply chuckled. "No, you're not dead, you're however in the process of becoming a half ghost." The moment she said that Jeremy stopped walking and almost bumped into the back of Maddie. "I'm a what now?" he said with slight confusion.

Maddie turned to face Jeremy, out of nowhere a digital floating signed contract appeared in front of him. "Vlad had asked me to show you this, once you woke up. As a key reminder, that he now owns you. Your body is his, whilst you slept soundly, Technus and Vlad injected you with a serum." She took his arm to show him where the serum was injected. "I'm no longer human? I don't understand… so I am dead?" Maddie shock her head no "Mr Manson, you're indeed still human. To explain this better for you, you are half ghost and half human. But in time, you can decide fully if you wish to become a full ghost." Maddie said, as she turned around and carried on walking down the halls.

Jeremy stood there for a while before he re-followed the robot to the end of the hall. He honestly still couldn't believe what he was just told. Things were happening way to fast.

When he entered the large living room, he found the robot talking to another figure, he slowly walked towards the two. When he got closer, the tall male in the red cape turned to face him "Ah, I see you're right Maddie. He does seem a bit lost." Vlad said, with the flick of his fingers he pulled up some chairs and forced Jeremy to sit down in one. "Tell me, have you tested your powers yet?" Vlad asked as he invaded Jeremys personal space upfront. "My what?" Vlad rolls his eyes in annoyance, lifting his right hand, he blasted a few rays at the wall "Powers, have you made any yet?" Jeremy shook his head. "Master, he has only just woken up" Maddie interrupted. Vlad growled and dropped his head. "Do I have to train you?" he said bitterly. He harshly took Jeremy's hand and pulled him out of the chair dragging him to another room.

When they entered the new training room displayed numerous dummies of Phantom. Vlad motioned Jeremy to stand in the middle where one dummy was placed few yards away. "You need to learn how to obtain your powers so you can kill like this." Vlad aimed his hand towards another dummy which he destroyed. "Anger… can help trigger them. Think of them as the real Phantom." Vlad said as he began to levitate around Jeremy.

Jeremy looked at his hand, 'Powers' he thought to him self "Phantom." He said out loud in an angry voice, he screamed drastically as he aimed his hand towards the dummy. Nothing came out at first, he screamed once more unleashing the pain he had stored inside of him. A sudden blast of ray emerged from his new ghostly hand which destroyed more than one dummy, Jeremy had changed from his human form appearance to his new ghost form. An evil laugh came from Vlad as he watched the scene before him. He floated down and tapped Jeremy on the shoulder "well done my pet. It appears that Technus serum is working" Vlad said, he stole a glance towards Maddie who stood there in shock from the sudden progress.

Jeremy stood there for a moment whilst he adjusted to his heavy breathing "Is this all I can do?" he asked, he studied both of his hands. He wanted to know if he can do more, he wanted to know everything so when the time came, he could take down Phantom. Maybe becoming a half ghost was not bad at all. A sinister grin appeared on his face. "Day by day, you will progress. For now, let's continue with the basics. Change back into your human form." Vlad asked. Jeremy stole a glance at himself from looking at the mirrors on the wall, he did not notice himself at all. His new appearance was completely different the only thing that was identical to his human form was his blonde hair… everything else had changed… his skin was green, his eyes where blood shot red, he also notice that he was slightly taller. Jeremy pictured his original self and focused on that to change back. He touched his face once he saw his human self "Now… lets go have some fun shall we..." Vlad said as he made a portal appear. He motioned Jeremy to follow him through.

"Come on Sam, we don't have all day. Come out so we can see what you look like." Valerie said as she stood by the locked bathroom door. "Alright fine I'm coming out" Said Sam. When Valerie see the door unlock and saw Sam standing in the door way, her eyes went wide with happiness "See I told you, that you would like fine in it." Valerie said. She studied Sam's new appearance " Well, at least we know that you would be an honest distraction for Danny whilst he's fighting" Valerie said with a smirk. Sam smiled in response "You think it's okay?" Sam said as she turned around to look at herself. She was wearing a long dark purple top with the phantom crest logo on her upper chest, she war black dark shorts with a hint of green lining around the ends. She wore black ankle boots with black stockings that stopped just below her shorts. For hand protection, she had short wrist gloves. "You don't think it's to much?" Sam asked? Valerie shock her head "Hell no, girl... if you want to fight in style then you need the right gear. I'm sure Danny would approve. Lets go get you some weapons!" Valerie said as she dragged Sam from the bathroom to the phantoms lab, where Tucker and Danny was.

When they both entered the two girls found the boys playing with the slim which had grown slightly bigger "You gotta admit.. its kinda cool right." Tucker said as the slime turned invisible. An image of the future from what Danny saw at clockworks castle flashed through his mind. The part where box ghost was adamant on taking it back, Then he remembered Sam being part ghost "I think you should take it back." Danny said, which upset the slimes feelings "Why? It's clearly settled here?" Tucker said, The slime jumped into the palm of his hand and snuggled into his thumb "Like I said... we don't know what's after it, where it came from or why it was even in Box ghosts place. It has to go." Danny said, The slime bounced off Tuckers hand and hid itself away in a pocket. "He doesn't mean it." Tucker whispered, causing Danny to roll his eyes. "Ahem!" The two boys turned to see Valerie and Sam standing whilst wearing their training gear. The sight of Sam caused Danny to fall of his seat to which Sam laughed at, she walked over to him and helped him up.

"What are you wearing?!" Danny asked as he studied her outfit "Valerie's idea." Sam murmured, Danny glared at Valerie who merely shrugged "What, did you want her to fight un-protected?" Valerie questioned, Danny sighed "No, your right. I like it, It's just different but a good different." He lightly kissed her cheek, which gave him a smile in return. "Good I'm glad you approve, because you get to pick out the weapons for her." Danny grinned he took her hand and guided her to the wall where all the Fenton weapons where placed. He gave her a Fenton thermos to which she was familiar with on using, he added a wrist laser to her right wrist which sparks out ecto jet rays. He handed her a double blade sword which instantly caught her eye "It's one of mum's favourites to use. I'm sure I can get her to teach you to use it properly." Danny said with a smile. He was keen on giving her equipment that she was all ready used to using. The Phantom blaster is new, which is what he will give her. But he only wants her to use it when the time is right. Danny lifted the Phantom blaster of the stand and handed it to her "I've never seen this before." she said once she held it. Danny smiled "That's because it's only recently been made. It has everything that I use... The only difference is, you're not a ghost when using it" Danny said as he flicked the machine to life and aimed it at Tucker who hid behind the computer "Why aim it am me bro!" Tucker said. Valerie laughed at the scene "Does this make you more at ease if she uses it?" Valerie asked as she walked over to the two. She took the blaster and had a try "Doesn't feel heavy, it's almost light weight." she said "Can we try it?" Valerie asked with a grin. "Sure, we can blast some rocks in the ghost world." Danny said, he turned into his ghost mode where he flew over to the ghost portal to activate it "We can take the spectre speeder for a drive again, But this time... Don't take anything home." Danny added, he looked at Tucker who nodded.

They all hopped into the spectre and flew through the portal. Danny drove the spectre to the most emptiest part possible. So no ghosts could intervene them whilst he got to teach Sam how to use the blaster. He still wasn't great with the idea on her putting herself out their now. Because lets face it, he knew that he wouldn't be able to protect her at all costs. But at least he knew that on some level, she was capable of standing her ground. He knew she wasn't weak, in fact she was far from weak. She was always their for him whenever he needed her but with her physco dad being out their in the open causing trouble he suppose that maybe it's not a bad thing after all.

They where all standing on a large boulder type of rock, well all standing part from Danny who was hovering by Sam, He handed her the blaster. "It's quite simple to use, if you look through here it acts an guide if you follow the red dot you should aim an accurate hit, like this" Sam watch Danny hold the blaster up at a good angle, he pressed the trigger and shot out thousands of echo bullets. which exploded the large rock in to pieces "That was so cool!" Tucker said "I got all that on camera!" He added as he replayed it back to Valerie. Danny handed Sam the blaster "Your turn." He said whispering to her ear with a smirk "Remember to focus" He quietly said as he backed away a little giving her some space.

Sam focused her attention on her surrounding's she wanted to find a good hit, she looked through the guide and found to rocks floating in the near by distance. 'I can do this.' she said, she positioned her self steady she waited till the rock was behind the first one. With a grin appearing on her face Sam held the trigger destroying two rocks in one hit. Valerie ran up to Sam giving her the biggest high five ever, "That was sick!" Valerie said with pure excitement. Sam looked who looked at Danny who seemed to be a little be shocked for what he saw "Was it good?" Sam asked as she walked to him "Good, that was great! you just took out two!" Danny said picking her up, Sam laughed "I learned from the best" she said with a smile. Danny placed her back down "Alright, I think we should focus on blasting a few more rocks, and then Valerie can teach you the basic kicks? okay?" Both girls nodded. Sam went back to firing more rocks whilst Danny levitated to Tucker.

"If you're going to tell me to put the slime back, I'm not going to" Tucker said, as he folded his arms across his chest "Fine, don't put it back. But just know if it causes problems... You will deal with it?" Danny said, Tucker nodded in response "Of course man, you don't have to worry. Nothing will happen, and besides I think it would be good for us to have him." Danny sighs, "Just don't let anyone else see you have it." Danny added, just then the slime jumped out of Tuckers pocket and landed on Danny's shoulder and gave him a little nudge "Don't think I like you straight away." Said Danny as he took the slime off him.

Danny turned his attention back to the girls, who seem to be having fun with todays activity, he relaxed a little knowing that everyone was safe.

When they returned home, Sam and Valerie where both incredibly tired. They didn't even realise the time till they got in, it was a little bit past seven in the evening "Jeez, my folks are gonna kill me." Valerie said as they all made their way out of the lab "You can always stay?" Danny asked, Valerie shook her head no, "If i do that, I assure you they will ground me. Ill see you guys in the morning for school. Sam, you were epic today! Tuk you coming?!" Valerie said as she looked at Tucker who nodded "Yeah, I should I do have homework to catch up on actually." Tucker took out his PDA where a message from Star popped up "Oooooh, that from her?" Danny said with a wink as he tried taking the PDA "Hey, hands of the tech!" Tucker said as he shoved it back in his pockets "It was so from her." Danny said whispering to Sam who laughed.

The two young teens bid their friends farewell at the door, after they left Sam gave Danny the biggest hug "Thank you for today." She said to him, she stroked his hair slightly before burying her head into his chest. "It's okay, I think at the end of this, everything will be worth it. I'm just not used on seeing you out their more. But if anything happens to you, I wont ever forgive myself." Danny said as he lifted her face up to look at him. "Nothing bad will happen I promise." she said, kissing his lips to which he returned eagerly "Hmm" Just then both of their stomachs started to rumble, a pure sign to say that both where indeed hungry for food "Lets go eat." Danny said, as he took her hand and guided them both to the kitchen "Maybe i should change out of this?" She said as she pointed towards her outfit, Danny nodded a grin appeared on his face "Wear this." He said whilst he lifted of his shirt and handed it to her "I have my own clothes y'know" she said with a smirk as she headed up stairs to go change.

When Sam returned she was wearing his large shirt which bought a pleasant smile to his face "So what's for dinner and where is everyone else?" Sam asked as she sat herself down on the counter. Danny handed her a note which he had found on top of the fridge "Looks like the folks our out for tonight and Jazz is at a friends house." Danny said as he let Sam re-read the note anyway "So just us." He nodded as he leaned next to her "I have a question to ask?" Sam said, earning his attention he gave her a questioning look before he went two grab out two plates from the cupboard "What do you think my dad will do? I don't even know where he goes off to any more or what he does? He doesn't even feel like a father at the moment." Sam said as a single tear ran from her eye. Danny walked up to her and placed both hands on the side of her hips. "Whatever you dad will try to do, he wont succeed. I wont let him take you or harm you. From whatever he does now is a mysterious to us. As long as he knows that we will be their to stop him." Danny said. Sam smiled from his words of comfort. she snuck her arms around his neck and leaned in to savour his scent again "You don't need to keep on thanking me, I'm doing this because I love you Sam." Danny bought his hands to her face so he can see her eyes, he moved in closer to capture her lips once more. That was until a loud ringing noise had alerted his attention "I believe that's dinner ready." He said with a wink. He moved from the counter and went to the oven to take out the steamy fresh pizza's he just cooked up "Veggie supreme for you. A meaty for me." Danny said placing both pizzas on plates on cutting them up "So... the diets going really well huh?!" Sam said as she took a laugh, Danny's face flushed to a bright red colour... "Cheat day?" he said with a grin, Sam rolled her eyes. The two carried their pizza's to the living room where they sat in a comfortable silence watching sit-com action movies
