Chapter seven: The warning

I felt bad for not updating as quickly as I should so i took the time today to upload two chapters in one hit.

hopefully you enjoy this one too, getting back in the spirit with typing this up

"No you can't have her, I won't let you!" Danny shouted as he watched Sam's father try to take her away from him. He felt absolutely helpless "SAM!" Danny shouted 'Let me have him!' spoke a voice inside of Danny's head. A voice he did not want to communicate with 'No, go away' Danny said angrily. In person his eyes began to shift from green to red 'you know I can save her' the dark voice spoke 'he's taking what is ours?' Danny shook his head, he did not need this right now. "Argh!" Shouted Danny "So be it!" Danny's features changed drastically as dark Dan took over "It's about time you let me out to play.. Now where was I?" Said dark Dan as he lit both hands with red ecto rays.

"Danny, Danny wake up!"

Dark Danny ignored the distance voice and launched some rays, aiming for Jeremy. He manage to hit one directly in his back. Causing him to let go of Sam who fell to the ground, she was servely hurt from her fathers attacks that he could not stop so the fall must of been painful "Fenton, You took my life... I will get rid of you!" Danny watched the man infront of him change into a new appearance that he did not think "So, he thinks he's one of us huh!" Said dark Dan with a grin

"Danny, wake up, your having a nightmare!" - In the back of his mind, Danny could vividly hear his girlfriends voice but how is that possible when she is knocked out cold on the ground, Danny blinked his eyes a couple of times. Everything around him started to vanish, including Sam which caused him to yell out her name several times.

Danny's eyes bolted straight open as he woke himself up, besides him was a worried Sam "You're here." He said as he quickly grasp her waist and pulled her to him "Nightmare" Danny nodded "Seems like we're both under the stress of having them" said Sam as she stroked some parts of his hair. "Hey, I've been thinking. Maybe it's time that we should inform the school? at least that way it can take some worries of your shoulders with them knowing?" Danny nodded and agreed to what she just said, it is probably for the best if they new about the situation "We can tell them this morning before classes start?" Said Sam, he liked how brave she was being right now. Stepping up and letting some people in to help her circumstance. She would be a lot safer whilst being at school once she knew "I just don't want the entire school finding out about all this... because then i would consider home schooling." Sam said, Danny chuckled. "No one will find out, we will make sure of that." Sam gave him a peck on the cheek

When the couple made their way downstairs they where met by Jack and Maddie who was sitting at the kitchen table "Morning kiddos!" Maddie said in a rather happy tone of voice, Jack smiled when the two joined the table "Care for some vegan pancakes Sam? I've actually made a couple and honestly they're really good! I added some blueberries to!" Sam smiled when she accepted a couple, she loved the fact that his family had done so much for her lately especially how his mum understands her refusal on eating meat. "You wanna try?" Sam said to Danny as she waved a small piece in front of him "Will it kill me?" he asked, she glared back at him and shoved it further so he could take it to try. She watched him chew and swallow it "Not bad, not bad original is best though!" he said as he cut half of the pancake he had on his plate and demolished it.

when breakfast was finished they made their way to school, before hand they texted Tucker and Valerie to meet them at their first class instead of meeting them at their usual spot. So this gave Danny the opportunity to fly to school whilst carrying Sam in his arm, He landed them a couple blocks away. When they entered the school the two teens made their way to the principles office where they were greeted by the heads assistant "How can i help you two today?" Mary said as she quickly looked at the clock noticing that they were both early for school "We need to speak to the principle, is he available?" Danny asked, Mary looked at the two with slight confusion before she said "I will go find out for you, one moment." Mary stood up from her desk and walked over to the principles office. When she disappeared Danny held Sam's hand to help calm her nerves for what's about to happen.

A second later Mary returned "He said that you can speak with him, so go on in" She said as she gestured her hands towards the door, they both nodded and walked in. When they entered they found their principle sitting at his desk with stacks of files on either side "Good morning, what do pleasure do I owe for you two wanting to see me this morning?" He said with a questioning look, Danny and Sam both sat down on the empty seats. Danny looked at Sam and straight away he could tell that she was slightly nervous on telling him everything so he decided to go first "You see sir, a lot has happened over the last couple of weeks, mainly due to Sam's father attacking her mum." The principles eyes went wide with shock, he took a moment to study Sam "Is that true Samantha?" she nodded in response "What's the circumstance now?" he asked, as he went back to looking at Danny for answers "She is living with me, her mum has gone away leaving Sam on her own, both mums have agreed that it's best for her to live with us." The principle nodded, he pushed himself up from his desk and walked over to where the chest of draws where, he opened a draw which said 'Students files' "In that case, we need to update your emergency contacts and I would like to speak with Mrs Fenton about this. I believe what you're saying but we also need to provide the right care here for Samantha." Danny looked at Sam who seemed to be a bit more relaxed "What about your fathers where about? any contact?" asked the principle as he sat back down with Sam's file "We would appreciate if zero contact occurs between Sam and her dad. He is abusive sir." Said Danny as he took Sam's hand and held it for comfort "Abusive, have you got any proof?" Danny nodded "Yes sir, Sam fled to my house the night it happened, I went round to go and check and her mother was brutally attacked." The principle released a heavy sigh "Very well, I will inform all teachers that he is not allowed to step foot on schools premises. That is all I can do for now. I can also lay off the pressure with studies so its not to much on your shoulders, both of you. But this doesn't mean to say that your grades can slip." Said the principle both teens nodded in agreement "Thank you sir, can we asked that this is kept privately? we don't want this getting round." The principle nodded "What stays in this office stays in this office, Samantha I will put your file with Fentons so i know who to contact Mr Fenton, i will be in touch with your mother to." They both nodded as they stood up from their chairs, the school bell rang signalling it that first classes have started, the two thanked their head teacher and made their way to class.

Monday's where generally great because the gang had every lesson together on that day which makes the day feel less boring. They where only late to class by a few minutes. They took their seats at the back. When Danny sat down a piece of paper was thrown on to his desk, he picked it up and read it

-What gives man? what happened this morning?~T Danny looked up from the note where he turned to see Tucker staring at him, he quickly took out his pen and replied back and tossed the note back to him. He saw Tucker read it and nodded in response.

He's kind of happy now that the head knows of the circumstance that's going on right now, he gets that he wont be able to do as much but at least he can give Sam the safety she needs whilst being here. He took out his books and began to write down the notes the teacher had written on the class board. Hopefully things will start to become better from here onwards, he hoped.

on the grounds of Amity park, Vlad appeared through the portal he created next to him stood Jeremy who looked immensely confused as to why they're here "The park? you want to have fun in the park?" he questioned as he looked at Vlad who suddenly laughed "Fun for destruction!" With that Vlad shot q power blast which exploded an area causing the public to scream and panic. A smirk appeared on his face "You try" Vlad said, Jeremy changed into his ghost form, he raised his hand and allowed the glows of rays to form around his risk "But what about children?" He said as the park was filled with innocent people "That didn't stop you from hitting your own? what's the difference now?" Vlad said as he shot another load. Jeremy joined in, he started in the opposite which sent the people to run in all sorts of directions.

"Time for destruction!" Yelled Vlad as he went slightly insane and started to fire at anything, with Jeremy at his side "Welcome to the dark side of inhumanity." Yelled Vlad as a sinister laughed follow suit "This rush, its pure... I love it!" Jeremy said as he levitated himself higher off the ground to get a better view. Anger was clearly sinking through him, he wanted to destroy everything... why should people love happily when he can't have it... People should understand what he feels having everything being taken from him by one person

Back in class, a cold chill went through Danny causing a white flame to come from his mouth "Uh-oh" he said "Tuck, Tuck!" He said throwing pieces of scrunched up balls to his mate "What?" Said Tucker looking a bit of annoyed "Ghosts, I need to go. Check your PDA where are they?" Danny asked, he watched Tucker secretly take out his phone from his pockets, he opened up the personal map of amity park where it showed two ghosts where present in the park "Great, nudge Val for me?" Danny said, he watched him grab Vals attention he showed her the ghost tracking's and she needed. "Sam" His girlfriend looked at him with slight confusion before seeing Tuckers PDA "I need you and Tuck to cover me and Val so we can sort this" He said in a light whispered voice so only she could here, she nodded in agreement a quick plan had came to mind "I got this, when you get the signal sneak of the back door." she said with a wink. She tore a piece of paper and scrunched it up in a ball to which she threw at Tucker, he held the ball and grinned. He grabbed his water bottle and poured some water over the paper making it super soggy, enough to freak a person out. He spotted Dash's back and threw the wet paper ball at him.

"What the fuck?" Yelled Dash as he stood up from his seat to wipe off the thrown ball "Mr Baxter, watch your language and sit back down!" Spoke the teacher as she stopped writing on her board to see the sudden destruction "Hell know, someone threw this at me, I wanna know which brat done it!" Said Dash and he licked his knuckles signalling a threat "Mr Baxter, please stop disrupting my class!" The teacher said as she put down the white board pens "It was you wasn't it, you nerd-face" Dash said as he picked up some innocent kid "Mr Baxter, outside this instant!" Yelled the teacher as she stood by the door waiting for him to come. "Your gonna get it dwerp" Said Dash as he backed away from the innocent kid and walked out the classroom with the teacher.

Sam looked at Danny and motioned him and Valerie to go now, he gave her a quick kiss and disappeared outside the back door. Sam smirked at Tucker for a job well done although she felt bad for the innocent kid, she hopes that Dash doesn't do anything to him.

Danny held Valerie's hand as he flew through the town to the park, when the two arrived he stopped dead in his tracks and accidentally dropped Valerie who managed to land on the ground safely. "No" Danny said to himself, the place was almost destroyed he's never seen it like this. He could see innocent people moaning in pain from being caught in the disruption "Who the hell done this!" Valerie said as she went to attend the hurt people. "Danny?" Valerie said, she watched as he just floated their in mid air looking a bit dazed. "Ah look who's finally come to the party! Phantom! and of course you!" spoke Vlad as he appear "Plasmius!" Shouted Daniel. "What have you done, you've harmed innocent people.. thousands of memories gone from your destruction" Danny shouted back. Valerie walked over to him and stood by his side standing strongly as ever "I hoped this would grab your attention" Vlad said "I want you to meet my new friend... He wants revenge consider this a warning Phantom." Vlad said in a dark deep voice

A new ghostly figure appeared next to Vlad "You might recognise him, what do you think of my new creating hmm? I think it's a blast!" Vlad said with an evil laugh. Danny had no words as he was completely in shock his dream had come true but how? he didn't expect his nightmare to happen, the only difference this time is that Sam isn't here so she is safe back at school "I want my family back.. Phantom... I will do what it takes to get them home!" Shouted Jeremy, he lit one wrist and fired it towards Valerie who manged to dodge the direct hit but stumbled on the attack. Danny growled "You think by becoming ghost.. That this would encourage them to come back.. this will push them away! why go to Vlad of all people... You know he almost killed us all two years ago!" Shouted Danny. Valerie was almost scared of Danny right now, she has never in her life time of knowing him see him become this angry. She didn't know what to do. She could only do what's best and support her friend "You two ought to leave and never return!" shouted Valerie "If you wanted the slightest hope on regaining your trust with your family.. then this is not the way to be!" Valerie added "However, if this continues.. then we will fight back for the safety of our town and the ones we love! we don't kill... we save!" Valerie said with a proud shining smile on her face.

Danny looked down to his friend where he gave her a smile of appreciation, he then focused his attention back to Vlad and Jeremy. "Let me give you a warning... if you cause chaos again.. I won't be afraid to change what is necessary. I will make sure that when Sam see's you next time it will give me great satisfaction for her to not want to give single damn moment of you within her life." Danny said, and he meant every word. He is glad that she is not here right now because odds our he isn't exactly sure what reaction she would give seeing now that her father is actually half ghost. Yet curiosity has become the better of him... He's eager to know how this has happened.

"It seems like my work here is done for now... we will be back" Vlad said as a portal appeared vanishing both ghosts.

Danny lowered himself down to the ground, his heart sank at the sight before him "We have to do something." He said "Clean up operation service?" Valerie said, Danny nodded in agreement. They couldn't leave the place like this. They would do the best they can before going back to school. Danny dropped all the injured patients to Amity hospital so they could be attended for. He flew back to the gardens where things looked a little bit more decent "I'm sure once this gets on the news, we can get the school to help out at least that way we would have more people?" Danny nodded "Val, Can I ask you something?" Asked Danny as he stopped her in her tracks, she smiled and nodded "Of course, what is it?" Valerie said as she looked at him "How am i going to break this to Sam? How am I even going to even keep her safe. I had a dream about this and it didn't end well." Valerie sighed, she approached Danny and placed a hand on his shoulders "You will find the right time to tell her about this, It's not going to be easy for sure, But you will have us here each step of the way to support you. With Sam also training she will be able to look after herself and I can assure you that I will make sure she can kick arse!" Danny laughed at her last comment "She already does!" He said with a chuckle "Just when i hope things where getting better we've fallen back down to nothing, their must be something else we can do?" Danny said as he took Valerie's hand and lifted her off the ground.

"I have an idea but its kinda risky..." Valerie said, which earned her a confused look from Danny "How about we asked Skulker, Ember and a few other ghosts to join forces with us i order to take down Vlad and Jeremy? with more help it might just work?" Danny chewed on his lips for a moment before thinking "I mean i see where you're coming from, but do you expect them to work with us?" He said, she shrugged her shoulders "Like I said it's a risk and I'm assuming that Skulker must be bored if he's doing run about jobs for Clockwork?" Danny stopped flying for a moment and left her hanging with him in mid air "Clockwork?" he said, he hasn't told her what he's seen in the future with Sam becoming half ghost... Just like her dad, he seriously needs more answers as to how everything has fucking happened! "Er, Danny? I know you like levitating for a long time, but this doesn't agree with my stomach!" Valerie said as she held her hand over her stomach. "Oh, sorry! lets get going, we might make it for lunch!" Danny said, Valerie laughed. To be fair she actually didn't know what the time would be when they got to school but she hoped it was toward the end and not lunch! surly they would find out as school is coming in to view.

Danny lowered them down and changed into his human form, vals suit also changed back into her regular clothes. The two walked into the schools entrance "Well... It looks like we've missed lunch and all periods of classes its half three!" Val said looking at her phone in shock "Was we really gone for that long, jeez I wonder where the other two are?" Danny said as he took out his phone he saw that he had a couple of texts from Sam and Tucker and one missed call from his mum "Oh shit" He tapped his contacts and instantly dialled Sam's number.

"Hey, what happened.. You know we had to make up an excuse for the rest of your classes today?" Sam said to him on the phone, Danny laughed causing Valerie to look at him oddly. The two teens decided to leave the school as they didn't actually need to be here so they walked back out the entrance whilst Danny spoke to Sam "You gave that excuse?" Danny said whilst sounding a little uneased about it "Hey, Tucker came up with it first. It got you off the hook and plus i have your notes to." Sam said to him Danny rolled his eyes "What excuse was it?" Valerie asked whilst they walked "They told him that me and you both got Diarrhoea from eating something dodgy at home!" Valerie had never laughed so much in her life time "Okay that's kinda gross but smart!" Danny moaned in annoyance "Where are you guys anyway?" Danny asked as he motioned Valerie to stop walking "where at nasty burger, shall i see you guys here?" Sam asked through the phone. "Yeah we will be their its also probably best that we should all go to mine afterwards because i have something to tell you, we will see you in a bit okay?" Danny hang up, he turned ghost and took Valerie's hand where he flew both of them to nasty burger.
