_X_ A FEW DAYS AFTER THE LAST CHAPTER, THE HUNTER CLASSROOM HEADQUARTERS_X_ THIRD PERSON P.O.V.
John walked into the conference room of their recently renovated headquarters. It took a while, but with the help of Koro-sensei, the construction upgrades were done quickly. Mr. Karasuma got them the equipment needed to bring the building up to code for their purposes. In the conference room sat Karma, Nagisa, Isogai, Kataoka, and Koro-sensei. John took his seat and Karma said, "Now that John is here, we can begin. With help from Koro-sensei, we were able to get our headquarters fully upgraded on the construction side. Mr. Karasuma got us the supplies we needed to get technologically up to date. John, what is the current amount of money in our joint account?" John looked at his phone and said, "As of right now, since we've haven't had a bounty hunting Job since we killed Takaoka, we have over ¥10 million Japanese Yen." Karma nodded his head, looked at Nagisa and asked, "Have we gotten any applications for people to join our group?" and Nagisa said, "One, and it's from Red Eye." Karma smiled and said, "Red eye, it's been a while since we've seen him." Koro-sensei nodded his head and said, "Indeed, it was the class trip to Kyoto when he tried to snipe me several times. He and I had a wonderful conversation afterwards. You know I'm surprised that he didn't try to shoot me at such close quarters."
"Well, he didn't know you like we do back then." said Karma. Just then, they received a video call on the board and Isogai said, "It's from Mr. Karasuma." When Karma accepted the call, Mr. Karasuma and Irina appeared and said, "Greetings Hunter Classroom." and John said, "Greetings Mr. Karasuma, Miss Irina, what do we owe this call?" Soon Mr. Karasuma clicked a mouse on his end and afterwards, the printer in the conference room started to print out some papers and Mr. Karasuma said as Kataoka got the papers, "We have a Rescue/ bounty hunter mission for you guys, this mission will be paid for by the United States Government. The President asked for you guys personally " John smiled and asked, "What's the mission?" and Miss Irina said, "A few days ago, right around you guys killed Takaoka, a United States Spec Ops team was sent to a place that was under the control of Neo-Al-Qaeda (A.N.: I do NOT Support them, I just had to think of a name for the Terrorist group.)." John opened his laptop and did a search for Neo-Al-Qaeda as he said, "Neo-Al-Qaeda, the reformed Al-Qaeda once the United states took them down two years ago." Mr. Karasuma nodded his head and said, "Correct, anyway. The Spec Ops team discovered the location of the leader of Neo-Al-Qaeda."
"Osama bin Laden's son, Omar?" asked Nagisa. Mr. Karasuma nodded his head again and said, "Yes Nagisa. Anyway, as the team was being extracted, Neo-Al-Qaeda attacked them and the team leader covered his team as they extracted, but he was captured in the process. The Captain's name is Jaden Gill. He had the paperwork that would have led the United to the location of Omar bin Laden and his capture. But with the capture of Captain Gill, the United States lost that opportunity and they fear that Neo-Al-Qaeda might make an example of him. The mission is this, find Captain Gill and get him home safely. Then head to the location of Omar Bin Laden and bring him in for the United States to stand trial for his acts of terrorism. The reward for this mission is $10,000,000 US Dollars. 5,000,000 to bring Captain Gill home, and the other 5,000,000 is for the capture of Omar Bin Laden." John did the conversion in his head and said, "That's ¥1,086,695,363 Japanese Yen, in total."
Mr. Karasuma nodded his head and asked, "Will you take the mission?" Karma looked at everyone in the conference room, who all nodded their heads before Karma looked back at Mr. Karasuma and Miss Irina and said to the two of them, "we'll take it." Mr. Karasuma and Miss. Irina smiled before Mr. Karasuma said, "Excellent, I'll let the U.S. know and we'll get you on the next plane to Hotel Gringo Air Base." John nodded his head and the video call ended. Karma and John stood up and nodded their heads before saying, "John and I will go on this mission. John will act as the translator for us, we need Chiba for scouting and sniping. We'll also need Maehara, Sugino, Terasaka, Okano, Mimura, Nagisa, Kurahashi, and Itona for this mission as well." Nagisa nodded his head and said, "I'll ask Ritsu to let the others know."

John, Nagisa, and Karma walked into the classroom and saw Chiba, Maehara, Sugino, Terasaka, Okano, and Itona in their old seats as John hooked up the projector and he, along with Nagisa, and Karma explained the mission. Sugino leaned back in his chair and said, "This has to be important. It's not everyday that the President of the United States asks for us." John nodded his head and said, "Yeah, but enough of that. Right now we need to get to the airport, the United States is going to be sending a plane to pick us up and take us to an airbase called Hotel Gringo Air Base. From there we are to head to the last known location of Captain Gill and rescue him. After that we will conduct a raid against the location where Neo-Al-Qaeda's leader is. The reward is 10 Million US Dollars, half for rescuing the captain, and the other half for the capture of Neo-Al-Qaeda's leader. I did the math and that's ¥1,086,695,363 Japanese Yen, in total."
"When do we leave?" Terasaka asked, soon getting head nods from everyone sitting down. Karma smiled and said, "We'll take the company trucks to the airport and wait for our ride to come and find us. Move out team." Everyone nodded their heads and got suited up, loaded their guns with ammo, and got into two trucks and opened the recently added garage doors and drove down the recently built road to the main road going to the airport. Along the way, John looked at a picture of him and Toka on the beach. Chiba saw John looking at it, tapped on his shoulder and asked him, "You okay man?"
John nodded his head and said, "Yeah, I'm just worried about Toka. She's been really distant lately and I wish I knew why." Chiba told John not to worry and she would talk to him when she feels like it. Afterwards, he sent a message to Hayami, asking her, Kanzaki, and Kayano to ask Toka what the matter was and explained to her why he asked. Soon afterwards, he got a message from Hayami saying, "Of course, We'll talk to her. Ironically we're all with each other hanging out" Chiba smiled as he felt the truck come to a stop. He realized that they were at the airport already and they found a place to park, they took their bags into the Terminal and waited for their plane to arrive.
_X_ WITH HAYAMI, KANZAKI, KAYANO, AND TOKA _X_ YUKIKO'S P.O.V.
Since the four of us were already together when hayami got a text message from Chiba, she looked at Toka and asked, "Okay Toka, why are you being distant from John?" Toka sighed and said, "I don't know, I've been having strange cravings foodwise, my mood goes up and down every other day, and I've been feeling sick to my stomach in the morning these last few days." Kayano gasped as we watched her pull Toka to the side and handed her a small box. I caught a small glimpse of it and I gasped as well. It was a pregnancy test box. Kayano then shoved toka into the bathroom and said, "Just follow the instructions and wait for it to give you the results before coming out." As Kayano walked back over to me and Hayami, I asked her, "Do you think she's pregnant?"
We saw Kayano nod her head and she said, "Weird food cravings, moodswings, morning sickness, those are all tell-tell signs if someone is pregnant." Hayami and I looked at each other and the three of us waited for Toka to come out. After a few minutes, we heard the bathroom door open and Toka slowly walked out while looking at the pregnancy test strip. She then looked at us and she said, "John's going to be a father..."
_X_ BACK AT THE AIRPORT _X_ THIRD PERSON P.O.V.
After a few minutes of waiting, John, Karma, Nagisa, Chiba, Maehara, Sugino, Terasaka, Okano, and Itona saw two United States Airmen approaching them and one, a heavy built caucasian male, looking about to be in his mid to late 40s said, "You the Hunter Classroom Bounty Hunters that we were sent to pick up?" John answered him and said, "We are, John Bertrand, one of the groups leaders, this is Karma Akabane, Nagisa Shiota, Ryunosuke Chiba, Hiroto Maehara, Tomohito Sugino, Ryoma Terasaka, Hinata Okano, and Itona Horibe, we're not everyone in the group but we're the group members on this mission." The Man nodded his head and said, "I am Master Sergeant Charles Carter. This is my co-pilot, Staff Sergeant Emma West. We'll be the one taking you to Hotel Gringo Air Base, if you would kindly follow us please we'll show you the plane." Everyone nodded their heads, got their things that they brought with them, and headed to the plane that would take them to Hotel Gringo Air Base, from there they would take a few humvees to the last known location of Captain Gill. The plane that was going to take them to Hotel Gringo Air Base was a C-17 Globemaster III Troop Transport Plane. John whistled and said, "Never been on one of these before." MSgt Carter smiled and said, "Military personnel only, but by order of the President of the United States, you're allowed on board." John smiled and they followed MSgt Carter and SSgt West onto the plane. On the plane, John got a phone call on his cell and he saw that it was Toka calling him and he answered it. Everyone heard his side of the conversation as he said, "Hey Toka, how have you been? What news is it?" John was silent for a few seconds before he dropped his bags and said, "You're what? No no, I believe you, I just wanted to make sure I heard you correctly. When's your first appointment? Okay, I'll make sure I'm there with you okay? Thank you sweetie, I'll talk to you later, love and miss you honey bun with all my heart and soul."
After John hung up his phone, he made sure all his stuff was on the plane and he collapsed onto the ground. Nagisa and Karma were the first to reach him and got him back on his feet. When Terasaka asked John what his problem was, John looked at him and said, "Toka's pregnant…" Soon the cabin was filled with congratulations and cheers for John. After getting John into his seat and buckled up, Nagisa and Karma sat on opposite sides of John and Nagisa said, "So how does it feel?" and John said, "To be honest, I'm nervous. My dad wasn't kind to me when I was growing up. You all know why. I'm worried if I'll be there enough for my own kid. Will I make the right choices for him or her? What do I do when the baby comes?"
"Just be there for the birth and all those special moments, spend time with your kid and teach him or her lessons about life, love, and friendship." Said MSgt Carter, making Nagisa, Karma, and John look at him. He then said, "Trust me, I have two kids of my own, I was there when they were born, I watched them take their first steps, say their first words. I dropped them off at school for the first day. Now they're just starting Middle School and they have a ton of friends. The lessons I taught them when they were younger stuck with them and they respect their teachers, they always tell the truth, and they don't steal." MSgt Carter then walked up to the Cockpit and got things ready for take off.
_X_ WITH ISOGAI'S CAFE WITH KATAOKA _X_
Kataoka was taking a sip of her tea when her boyfriend/cafe owner came out with a tray holding two small cakes on it and he placed it down on the table she sat at and said, "Two Carrot cakes on the house." Kataoka smiled and took a bite of the cake and said, "Delicious as ever Yuma, but what's the occasion?" Yuma took in and let out a big breath before saying as he reached into his pocket, "As you probably know, whenever I give you carrot cake when I have big news to share with you, like when my boss gave me ownership of the cafe, another time is when my mom had finally become healthy enough to not go to the hospital every week. This time I have a question to ask you, and it's a good one." Kataoka was confused before she placed her hands over her mouth as she watched Yuma get down on one knee and pull out a red velvet box and opened it. Inside was a silver ring with a diamond on it and he said to Kataoka, "Megu Kataoka, will you give this man the honor of being your husband?" Kataoka was speechless, and she cried happy tears before she shouted, "YES!" Kataoka then jumped into Yuma's arms and kissed him passionately before he slid the ring onto Kataoka's finger.
"Well, well, well, looks like we have another pair getting married." said a female voice at the door. Yuma and Kataoka looked and saw Hayami, Kanzaki, Kayano, Fuwa, Toka, Aguri, and Koro-sensei in his disguise. Kataoka and Yuma got up quickly, dusted themselves off, and Kataoka said, "Hey guys, what brings you all here?" and Aguri said, "I came here to try some of Isogai's food. Heard it's really delicious and I invited Sone to join me. But the girls came here to celebrate Toka's future child. Apparently she's pregnant." Kataoka ran over to Toka and hugged her and said, "Congratulations Toka, does John know?" and Toka told her, "Yeah, I told him a few moments ago. Where is he anyway?" and Isogai explained the mission.
_X_ BACK ON THE PLANE _X_
After the plane took off and got closer to Hotel Gringo Air Base, John looked at the file on Omar bin Laden and Captain Gill, he then said, "Now I remember where I saw Captain gill's face before." When Karma asked John what he was talking about, John told him, "Jaden Gill, I thought I recognized that name before and now I remember where. Jaden Gill was my bunkmate back when I got my tentacles implanted. The two of us, along with 8 other candidates, were put through rigorous training to see if we had what it took to control the tentacles and not let them control us. On the final day of the training, it was down to me and him, everyone else either was kicked out and had their tentacles removed, or had to be put down and a clone was sent to replace them in their everyday lives. The last bit of training was a race then a match between the two of us. He won the race, but I was nearly nanoseconds behind him, but the match was given to me after I pinned Jaden's tentacles down with my own and held the anti-sensei knife I had near his throat."
John then said, "After the match, I was chosen to be allowed to keep my tentacles, Jaden's tentacles were removed but he didn't hold a grudge against me. He was happy that I got to keep my tentacles because they told him that he could go into the Spec Ops program, which was a dream of his. I was then put through more training to make sure that my speed was above Koro-sensei's speed. By the time you guys killed him my speed was mach 40, but the goal was mach 45. You all know the rest of the story." Karma and Nagisa nodded their heads as MSgt Carter came into the cargo compartment and said, "we're almost at Hotel Gringo Air Base, so buckle up and prepare for landing." John and everyone in the Hunter Classroom nodded their heads and buckled up as the plane made it's descent to Hotel Gringo Air Base.
_X_ HOTEL GRINGO AIR BASE _X_
After the plane landed, John led his teammates off the plane as they were approached by a man in a U.S. Army General's uniform, who looked to be in his late 40s, early 50s. The man had 3 stars on his collar, meaning he was a Major General. The man shook John's hand and said, "You must be the bounty Hunters from Japan the President said would come. I'm Major General Rick Wyengar, thank you for coming on such short notice, and welcome to Hotel Gringo Air Base." John nodded his head and said, "A pleasure General, I'm John Bertrand, these are my associates, we need all the information you can give us on Captain Gill's last known location." General Wyenger nodded his head and led John and his team to the briefing room.
_X_ HOTEL GRINGO AIR BASE'S BRIEFING ROOM _X_
Inside the Briefing Room, John saw a map on a white board and different areas marked on it. Then General Wyenger said, "Here's the compound, made out of a Town that was abandoned during the cold war. It was used as an outpost by Al-Qaeda before we took them down. Now Neo-Al-Qaeda are using it for the same thing. From a high-res Spy Drone, we found out that they have 6 Technicals in the area, 6 dozen foot mobiles, and several guard towers doting around the place." John nodded his head and said, "Okay, thank you general, this information will help us formulate a plan, do you know if Captain Gill's still in the compound?"
"We do, I had two members of Captain Gill's spec ops team use their sniper rifle to try and find him, and they did. He's being held in the Compound's dungeon, it's under the command Center." General Wyenger. John then said, "We'll need to talk to them the moment they're able to be…" but John was cut off when he heard two voices say his name. When he and the other hunter Classroom members and General Wyenger saw two people in spec ops gear. John recognized them and got a big smile on his face before he said, "FREDDIE! HANK!" John then walked up to the two and the all exchanged bro-hugs. General Wyenger smiled and said, "I see you know Privates Fredrick Blake and Hank Cooley." John nodded his head and said, "Yeah, they were two grades above me in school, and the three of us hung out a lot at the local arcade after school." Frederick looked at John and asked, "But John, what are you doing here?" John looked at Fredrick and said, "I'm a co leader of the Hunter Classroom bounty Hunter Group. The President asked us to come here and not only rescue Captain Jaden Gill, but capture Omar Bin Laden."
Hank smiled and said, "You're going to rescue the captain?" John nodded his head and said, "Yeah, were you guys a part of his spec ops team?" Both Fredrick and Hank nodded their heads and General Wyenger said, "These two were the ones who confirmed that Captain Gill was still at the complex." John nodded his head, looked at his friends and said, "Want to come with us to rescue the captain?" Frederick and Hank looked at General Wyenger, who said, "I'll allow it, but I want you back here afterwards for mission debriefing." Freddie and Hank nodded their heads, before General Wyenger told them, "Also, you'll be under his command…" Pointing to John before continuing, "Understood?"
"SIR YES SIR!" Shouted Freddie and Hank before they were dismissed to get supplies for the mission. John looked back at the map of the compound and said, "Should we expect landmines along the way?" and General Wyenger said, "If there were landmines out there, it would be near the base but not in the pathway of patrols." John nodded his head and said, "Okay, we'll move at night. Lucky for us, back in the program that gave me Rock and Creed, I was taught about how to build devices that could help them out, one such device was a metal detector that was in the form of binoculars." John then walked over to his bag and pulled out what looked like binoculars and said, "and it just so happens that I have a pair on me so we can locate those mines." General Wyenger nodded his head and said, "That would be perfect for us if you found those landmines, it would save a lot american lives." John nodded his head and said, "Okay General, we'll need some humvees to get to this compound."
General Wyenger nodded his head and said, "I'll get some humvees ready for you." General Wyenger then walked out as Nagisa and Karma looked at the map. John walked up to them and asked, "So what do you guys think?" Nagisa looked at John and said, "If everything the general told us is still there, this is going to be a tough one." Then Karma said, "Still, best we stick with infiltration first, if we're compromised then we hit them hard and fast." John nodded his head and said, "I was thinking the same thing Karma." John looked at the aerial map and saw what looked like to be an old path in the nearby hillside near the compound. John then said, "Looks like there's an old foot pathway in this hillside near their compound." John then looked at a night time thermal image of the area before he said, "Looks like there's not a big heat signature in that area too so they might not patrol it very often. Not to mention that the footpath ends right near the enemy Command Center where they have Captain Gill prisoner."
"So we use that footpath to sneak into the compound, get Captain Gill, the information he has omar bin Laden, and get out of there to capture Omar Bin Laden and give him to the United States for his crimes of terrorism." John nodded his head and said, "Yup, that's the plan. Karma, you and Nagisa are going to be on the infiltration team alongside Maehara and Okano. Chiba will provide Overwatch with me as his spotter and Fredrick and Hank will be there with us, also to provide Overwatch. Terasaka, Itona, Sugino, the three of you will be the drivers and our eyes in the sky with a drone." Everyone nodded their heads and Itona said, "I'll make sure to get eyes in the sky with a long range drone, just so happens that I have a long range drone with me for this kind of mission."
John nodded his head and said, "Good, so we all know the plan?" and got another head nod from everyone as Fredrick and Hank entered in the briefing tent, looked at everyone and Fredrick said to Hank, "Do you feel like we've missed an entire plan being discussed?" and Hank simply gave a head Nod. John walked over to the two and said as Nagisa and the other walked with him, "We'll explain in route, let's go." Fredrick and Hank nodded their heads and followed John and the others to the humvees General Wyenger had prepared for them.
General Wyenger then said to John before he got in his humvee, "We'll have an AC-130 move into the area in case you need assistance." John nodded his head and said to General Wyenger, "We'll use it well, thank you general." John then closed the door and the Humvee he was in led the other humvees off the air base and into the direction of the compound where Captain Gill was being prisoner at.
_X_ LATER, NIGHTTIME, OUTSIDE Neo-Al-Qaeda COMPUND_X_
After driving for what seemed like forever, John and his team reached where Fredrick and Hank were positioned to see the enemy Compound. John and Chiba got out, along with Fredrick and Hank. John looked at Sugino and said, "Go with the others and wait there for them."Sugino nodded his head and the three humvees drove to the footpath near the compound as the two sniper teams got into position on the cliff. As Chiba got his sniper rifle ready, he spoke to John and he said, "So I guess the wedding's been pushed up?" Fredrick and Hank looked at the two and Fredrick asked, "Wedding?" John looked at his friends and said, "Yeah, this guy's getting married." Pointing to himself. Fredrick smiled and said, "Way to go John."
John then told them, "I also got my fiancée pregnant." Hank and Fredrick were completely speechless. John chuckled and said, "Yeah, it was in the heat of the moment." Fredrick then said, "Thanks John." John was confused and asked, "For what?" John and Chiba saw Hank give Fredrick 20 US Dollars and Fredrick said, "You just helped me win 20 bucks." John sweatdropped as he looked at Fredrick and Hank before he said,"You two made a bet on me?" Frederick nodded his head and Hank said, "Yeah, the bet was that you get a girl pregnant before your wedding day." John deadpanned and said, "Why would you make that kind of bet?" Frederick and Hank laughed at that as Chiba chuckled as he looked through the scope and saw the compound.
"Well, the general was right about the technicals, I count at least six of them." John grabbed the binoculars from his bag and looked around and turned them on. After getting on the ground next to Chiba, connecting the binoculars to the rifle and looking through them, he saw every landmine that surrounded the compound. John then said, "I count at least 30 covered landmines around the compound's main entrance." John then looked around the compound and said, "Guard tower near the command center, guard's looking in the direction of the foothill path. Wind speed is 15 miles west, aim to the right a little." Chiba moved his rifle to the right a little before John said, "Distance is 15000 meters, aim up a little." After Chiba pointed his rifle up a little, John saw that the guard was in a position for a headshot and John said, "Drop him." and Chiba fired a suppressed round at the guard, hitting him in the head. John then radioed to Karma, "Okay Karma, we'll clear the guard towers, once that's done, move into the command center."
_X_ WITH KARMA, NAGISA, MEAHARA, AND OKANO _X_ OKANO'S P.O.V.
"Copy that John, we'll be on standby." we heard Karma say to John. All we could do was sit and wait. I sat close to Hiroto as we waited. Hiroto wrapped his arm around me and I snuggled close to him, burying my head into his chest. I then did the strangest thing I never thought I did, I fucking purred, and everyone heard me. I lifted my head and saw that Karma, Nagisa, and Maehara were giving me weird looks. I then said, "Anyone else think that was weird?" and I got a head nod from all three boys. Then Hiroto said, "It did feel nice though." that made me blush a little before I kissed him on his lips and said, "Anything for you sweetie." Soon we heard John on the radio saying, "Okay guys the situation's developed. Omar's in the compound. Chiba and I have a positive ID on him." I looked at Karma, who said to John, "Well that made our job a lot easier, we can hit two birds with one stone. Nagisa and I will Apprehend Omar, Okano and Maehara will help Captain Gill."
"Copy that Karma, we just took down the last guard in the towers, you are cleared to approach the compound." Karma said, "Copy, moving now." as the four of us moved stealthy towards the compound. We saw the command center for the compound and we saw Itona's drone flying in the distance. John then came back on the radio saying that Omar was in the command center with two guards interrogating Captain Gill. Karma got under a window, took out a camera fish eye lens and looked inside the building, he told us that everyone was facing Captain Gill as Omar was personally beating him. Karma then put the camera back in his pocket and he said, "Okay guys, shock and awe them. Sleeping rounds on Omar and the two other soldiers." We nodded our heads and after Karma signaled us to move in, Maehara broke the door down, and Nagisa and I took out the two soldiers as Karma shot Omar in his arms. Soon they were all down.
As Karma placed the cuffs on Omar, Nagisa and I got Captain Gill free. He saw us and said, "What are you kids doing here?" and Nagisa said to him, "We were sent by the President of the United States to rescue you and capture Omar. John says hi by the way." Captain Gill smiled and said, "Ah John, it's good to hear his name. I'm glad he remembers me." Then Karma said, "John this is Karma, we have Captain Gill, moving to exfil." John replied, "Copy Karma, we have the command center covered, get to the humvees." Karma nodded his head and picked up Omar. As we were about to leave, another Neo-Al-Qaeda soldier walked and shouted in Arabic, causing Karma to shoot him. We then had to run to the Humvees as several Neo-Al-Qaeda soldiers chased us.
_X_ WITH JOHN, CHIBA, FREDRICK, AND HANK _X_ THIRD PERSON P.O.V.
John, Chiba, Frederick, and Hank heard the shouting and Chiba said, "That's not good." John nodded his head and said, "Take down as many Neo-Al-Qaeda soldiers as you can." John then looked at Fredrick and Hank and asked them, "Where's that AC-130?" and Hank said, "It's entering the airspace now." John got on the radio with the AC-130 and said to the crew, "We have three Humvees with people heading towards them, look for the white strobing lights, those are our people, the rest are Neo-Al-Qaeda soldiers, take them out."
"Understood, hope you enjoy the show." Soon several Explosions were seen as Neo-Al-Qaeda Technicals were destroyed and the entire town was decimated by the shots fired from the AC-130. Soon Sugino radioed in and said, "John, we have Captain Gill and Omar, but Maehara was captured covering us." John said, "WHAT?! HOW?!" And Sugino said, "Some Neo-Al-Qaeda soldiers got him in the leg, he told us to just get out of here and get Gill back to base. Okano is crying right now, Terasaka had to grab her and pull her in." John nodded his head and said, "Understood, come and get us." Sugino acknowledged John and he told the others the situation.
_X_ HOTEL GRINGO AIR BASE'S JAIL CELLS, THE NEXT DAY _X_
John sat in the base's jail cells looking at Omar, who was sat across from him in a cell with an open door. Omar then said, "You know American Boy, that I will be free of these cuffs soon, and you will be the one who takes them off." John stared at Omar as he said, "Shut your fucking terroristic mouth." Omar smiled at John, making him stand up, walked over to him and punched Omar in the cheek. Soon Karma and Nagisa ran in and said, "John, we have company." John looked the two, before looking at Omar and said, "Don't you fucking move." before he walked out of the cell and locked it shut.
Outside the base's entrance, General Wyenger and a few soldiers looked at four people, one of them with a bag over his head, and a Neo-Al-Qaeda technical with a white flag on a broom stick on it, as John and his group walked up to them and asked General Wyenger, "When did they show up?" and General Wyenger told him, "Just a few moments ago." Soon one Neo-Al-Qaeda soldier lifted a megaphone to his mouth and started to speak in Arabic. One U.S. soldier, who understood Arabic, told General Wyenger and John, "He's asking for the release of their leader. In return they would release the man they caught last night." The Neo-Al-Qaeda soldier with the megaphone motioned to the two other Neo-Al-Qaeda soldiers as one took the bag off to reveal Maehara with bruises on his face. Okano gasped as John and the others looked on. As the Neo-Al-Qaeda soldier with the megaphone spoke, the U.S. Soldier then said, "They're asking for our response, they do not wish any more harm to come to the boy, they just want their leader." General Wyenger looked at John and asked, "Well? It's your call. He's with you after all." John nodded his head, looked at Karma and Nagisa and said, "Bring Omar here." Karma and Nagisa nodded their heads and as they left, John looked at the U.S. Soldier who understood Arabic and told him, "Tell them that we're bringing him out now." The U.S. Soldier nodded his head, grabbed another Megaphone and told them John's message in Arabic.
A few moments later, Nagisa and Karma brought Omar to the entrance and Omar said to John, "I told you that I would be free of these cuffs soon." John grabbed Omar's arm, looked at the US Soldier and said, "Tell them to meet us in the middle with our man." The U.S. soldier nodded his head and John, Karma, and Nagisa led Omar and another U.S. Soldier, who understood Arabic towards Omar's men as they came towards them with Maehara. In the middle, they looked at each other and John asked Maehara, "How did they treat you man?"
"No worse for wear." Replied Maehara. John then said to the man with a megaphone in his hand, as the U.S. Soldier translated, "Here's your leader, let's exchange them at the same time and we go back to our respective sides." The man nodded his head and Meahara was released as John released Omar. John handed Maehara off to Nagisa and Karma as they made their way back to the base with Omar and his men still in their sights. Back inside the base, Okano ran up to Maehara and held him close as General Wyenger approached them and said, "We all have to make deals with the devil once in our lifetimes." John nodded his head and handed General Wyenger a tablet with a signal being transmitted and on the move. John then said, "Omar asked for a glass of water and I gave it to him, along with a few drops of nanites that I brought along just in case. This will lead you straight to him." General Wyenger smiled and thanked John for that.
John then looked at his team and said, "Let's get maehara to the Medical tent to get him treated." Karma and Nagisa nodded their heads and helped Maehara to the base's medical Station to get looked at by the base's doctors. Afterwards, John and his team were getting their things together to head back to Japan when Captain Gill walked in with a crutch helping to support him and Fredrick and Hank behind him. John smiled at his old bunkmate and the two shook hands as Captain Gill said, "Thanks for getting me out of there John."
"Don't mention it Jaden, it was good to see you again, no matter how brief it was." John told Jaden, who smiled and nodded his head and Jaden said, "So tell me, do you still have rock and Creed?" John nodded his head and said, "You betcha." Jaden smiled and said, "Well anyway, the general told me and my squad that we've earned from R&R. We're heading back to the states." Then John said, "well, we're heading to Japan, I hope to see you guys again in the future." Jaden nodded his head and the two shook hands one last time, not knowing that it will be their last time seeing each other.
