Wow, I just have to say that this is one amazing chapter. You sure know how to write some touching romance. I love how each one is unique to each character's demeanor. Even though these are all common ships, I just love how each ship is sweet and fluffy and not edgy. I also find each new twist to be something unique and unpredictable which keeps me wanting to read more and more. The way you keep breaking the fourth wall really adds some comedic relief and I love the humor you add in each chapter. It makes me laugh so hard that I almost fall off the bed. You are a very creative writer and I believe you would make a great writer as a career (especially romance since you know how to keep things interesting). _X_ HOTEL GRINGO AIR BASE'S MEDICAL TENT, THE NEXT DAY _X_
John and his teammates were talking to Maeahara after the Base's medical staff did a full check up when a doctor walked up to them, who understood and spoke Japanese, and asked Maehara, "How are you feeling sir?" and Maehara said, "I'm doing fine Doc, just wish you could let me go home now. I have a crazy idea I want to do." John and Okano raised an Eyebrow before John said, "What do you plan on doing?" Maehara then reached into his pocket and pulled out his company phone (A.N.: Yes, everyone in the Hunter Classroom has Company Phones. Just wait until later in this chapter and see what else they get.), pulled up a page and showed it to the group. The page was a Commercial realtor page and on the top was a picture of a bar for sale in Kyoto. John looked at Maehara and asked him, "You want to own a Bar?"
"Why not, from what I've heard, tons of people own side businesses from their actual jobs." said Maehara. But John said, "Hate to burst your bubble, but you need to be 20 to serve Alcohol, that's the legal age." Maehara then said, "Ah, but that's when we hire someone to serve the alcohol until we're old enough. Isogai can be the chef for the bar, Terasaka can be the bouncer for it, and we can also use it as a front to capture Bounty targets." John thought about it and said, "That's… actually not a bad Idea Hiroto." Everyone looked at John with a confused look on their faces, a smile appeared on Maehara's face as he said, "Really?" John nodded his head and said, "Yeah. I've watched this T.V. show where some people of a firehouse own a bar, we can buy this bar, and not only sell drinks to make a profit, but also use it as a front to lure bounty targets in and capture them quickly." Okano looked at John and said, "Yeah, but we still need to get someone who can legally serve the drinks."
"Luckily, I have a cousin on my mom's side who's the legal age and is also a fan of Japan and her culture, I'll give him a call when we get back to our headquarters." Suddenly, there was an explosion outside. John ran off with Karma, Nagisa, Sugino, and Terasaka in pursuit. Outside, John, Karma, Nagisa, Sugino, and Terasaka saw a Troop Transport plane going down in the distance leaving behind a trail of black smoke from one of her engines. That's when they saw General Wyenger giving orders to some U.S. Soldiers and the five walked up to him and karma asked, "What happened General?" and General Wyenger told them, "That troop transport was hit in one of her engines by a S.A.M."
"Who was all on that plane?" asked John, and General Wyenger looked at him and said, "Captain Gill and his team, along with the pilots taking them back to the states. I'm sending some men to search for survivors, but there's little hope for any." John was speechless, three of his friends, Jaden, Fredrick, Hank, were gone. General Wyenger then said, "I'm going to send you all on your way as soon as possible to get home." John was speechless, before he said in a deep menacing voice, "Make sure that Neo-Al-Qaeda pays for their deaths." General Wyenger nodded his head and said, "This act will not go unpunished son, I can promise you that." John nodded his head and he and his team got their things together and back on the plane they were brought in to be taken back to Japan. But before the plane took off, General Wyenger walked up to them with a Federal Agent and General Wyenger said, "This is Agent Joshua O'hara of the FBI."
"The President wanted me to give you this." said Agent O'Hara as he handed the briefcase he was carrying to John. Agent O'Hara then said, "The President thought that even though we had Omar but had to give him up to get your man back, you still captured him and rescued Captain Gill. As far as the president is concerned, the mission was a success. Here's your reward, 10 million U.S. Dollars." John took the Briefcase and said, "Tell the President that we gratefully accept this and will be more than happy to talk to him personally." Agent O'Hara nodded as he and General Wyenger backup to allow the pane to take off.
_X_ KYOTO AIRPORT _X_
After a long and uneventful flight from the middle east, John led the people that went with him back to their Company trucks and began the drive back to their headquarters. John was completely silent as Nagisa, Karma, Chiba, who sent Hayami a message that they were back, and Sugino as Maehara, Okano, Terasaka, and Itona followed them in the second vehicle. A few minutes later, they arrived back at the Hunter Classroom Headquarters. When the front door opened, Toka, Koro-sensei, Aguri, Kayano, Okuda, Kanzaki, Hazama, and Hayami walked up to them as the girls walked up to their respective boyfriends and Koro-sensei walked up to John as he held Toka in his arms, "I take it your mission was a success." John looked at Koro-sensei and said, "yeah." John then walked into the headquarters as Karma told Koro-sensei, "We rescued the guy and captured Omar bin Laden. But Maehara was captured, so we had to do a prisoner exchange for him. Then to make the situation worse, the plane Captain Gill was on, along with two of John's friends from the states got shot down by a S.A.M. We're waiting for General Wyenger to let us know if there were survivors. But we still completed our mission in the eyes of the President of the United States, John doesn't though"
Koro-sensei and Toka looked in the direction John walked before Toka went to find him. When Toka finally found John, he was in the old Science classroom which they turned into the group's Science lab, Toka sat next to John as he had his head on the table. Both were quiet for a few minutes before Toka said, "Karma told us about what happened in the Middle East." John sighed and said, "I guess he had that right since he was there he could have told you what happened."
"He also told us about how Maehara was captured and the plane that your friends were on got shot down." Toka added on. Making John look at her and say, "Again, he had that right since he was there he could have told you what happened." Toka made John sit up and told him, "There was no way you could have known that a S.A.M. would be fired at the plane, so if that's why you're upset, don't be." John looked at Toka and said, "That's not why. The reason I'm upset is because those guys had families, kids of their own. I don't want our child to be without his father, I'm just debating whether or not to stay a part of the Hunter Classroom."
Toka caressed John's cheek and said, "John. This group couldn't ask for a better member of the five leaders, everyone couldn't ask for a better friend. I couldn't ask for a better future husband." She then rubbed her stomach as she said, "And our child couldn't ask for a better father. This group is what it is because of your contribution. You were also the first person to agree with Karma. You have helped catch several people and rescue a little boy. You've brought back our teachers, both Aguri and Koro-sensei. Without you, we wouldn't be where we're at now."
John smiled and pulled Toka into a deep Passionate Kiss as he wrapped his arms around her waist as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders. John then stood up and placed Toka on the table as he rubbed her sides and the two continued their kiss. Toka was happy as she thought, 'Oh baby, you know that you're important to me. I wished you came into my life sooner' when the two lovers parted from the kiss, they looked into each other's eyes and John said, "I needed that." Toka giggled as they placed their foreheads against one another.
Later, John was going over some reports in his office (A.N.: Karma, Nagisa, Kataoka, Isogai, and John all have offices in the upgraded headquarters) when Isogai and Kataoka came in and Isogai said, "You wanted to speak with us John." John nodded his head and asked them to sit down. John then said, "So I heard from Toka that you two are engaged now?" Kataoka blushed a little as Isogai rubbed the back of his neck and said, "Maybe…" John chuckled before he said, "I just wanted to say congratulations before you two get overwhelmed with congratulations from friends and family." Isogai sighed as Kataoka smiled and said, "Yeah, so how did you react when Toka told you she was pregnant with your child?" John chuckled before he said, "I was able to stay up for longer than I thought, after getting on the plane that took the team Karma, Nagisa, and I chose to go to the middle east, I collapsed. I was overcome with joy, but also Sadness and fear. I worried if I was going to be a good father to him/her when they come, you've all met my dad." Isogai and Kataoka nodded their heads and Isogai said, "Yeah, but we all know you're much better a man than he ever was." Then Kataoka said, "I even caught him looking at me and some of the other girls with those eyes that only belong to a fucking pervert, he even did that to Toka."
John's eyes erupted in flames as he said in a calm voice, "Next time I see him, first thing I'm doing is fucking punching him in his mother fucking face." Isogai and Kataoka chuckled as John was getting protective of his future wife. John then got his composure back as he said, "There was another thing I wanted to talk to you guys about, then we'll bring it up to Karma and Nagisa." Isogai and Kataoka looked at each other before looking back at John and Isogai asked, "What is it John?" John stood up, walked to his office's door, closed and locked it. He then closed the blinds to make sure no one was spying on them. John then sat back down in his chair and said, "It's about the mission to Rescue Kayano's sister." Kataoka remembered the mission and the Mercenary group that helped them.
"I think we can do a lot of good in Roanapur if we establish a secondary base there as a stop involving bounties or missions further south." John said to his two fellow co-leaders. Then Isogai said, "So you want our opinions on the matter?" John nodded his head before he said, "Yes, I want to know what you guys think before I pitch it at the end of the day." Isogai placed his hand on his chin as Kataoka said, "Well, if it means we can work with the Lagoon Company some more, I say we go for it." John smiled and said, "That was my thinking as well." Then Isogai said, "Wait, you mean you guys got to know that mercenary group there?" Kataoka nodded her head and said, "Yeah, it was on the boat ride to the Oil platform and back. The girl Revy is pretty funny at times."
"Yeah, not to mention that I like her attitude." John said to Isogai. Kataoka then looked at John and said, "Didn't she try and kill you?" John nodded his head and said, "That shows she's serious about business in my opinion. Besides, she, Dutch, and their nav-guy benny are all American so I got along with them nicely. Dutch sure does know how to pick them, he's even got this Japanese dude named Rock. I tell you, those are some crazy motherfuckers." Isogai chuckled as Kataoka smiled. John then looked at Isogai and said, "Well Isogai, what's your opinion on what I suggested?" Isogai was silent before he said, "I think it's a good Idea, but I think we need to at least wait a while, I mean we're not even a year into us forming in the first place." Then Kataoka nodded her head and said to John, "My loving Fiancé has a point John." John sighed and said, "I also have to agree with that. Fine, I'll hold off on asking the other two until later, but if we were at the 2-year mark of us being bounty hunters, what would your opinion be?"
"In two years, yeah we should open up another main base for operations in other parts of the world." Isogai told his two listeners. John nodded his head and thanked them for hearing him out. After walking out of his office, John was approached by Karma and he said, "We just got faxed an update on the plane crash from General Wyenger." When John asked what the update said, Karma told him, "He was right, there were no survivors in the plane crash… he felt like you needed to know." John sighed and said, "Thank you Karma. Did everyone else leave?" and Karma nodded his head and said, "Yeah, they all went out to lunch. Toka tried to stay behind, but Kayano insisted that she go with them. She needs to keep her strength up with the baby." John nodded his head and said, "Yeah, you go on ahead. I'll catch up." Karma nodded his head and walked off as he said, "I'll let Toka know." John nodded his head and after Karma left the building.
John walked into the Armoury to make sure that all the Clips for their guns were loaded when he heard the main door open. Thinking it was Karma, John said, "That you Karma? I'm in the armoury." and John heard footsteps get closer to the armoury and just as he was about to turn around, he felt something his the back of his head and knocked him out.
_X_ AFTER LUNCH _X_ TOKA'S P.O.V.
John had better had a good reason to miss lunch. He never misses lunch with me. When we got back to the headquarters, we found that there was a video tape on the Armoury Door. After getting into the old classroom and began to watch the take, we saw Gakushu Asano's face and he said, "Hello Hunter Classroom, if you're watching this, then you found the video we left for you." Asano then stepped to the side to show John getting tied up by Tomoya Seo and Teppei Araki. Asano then said, "The Location of where we'll be with him will be shown on the map in your little conference room, bring us all your money that you've gained from your bounties and he's yours all again. Bring it by sundown or John goes for a swim, and won't come up." Soon the Video ended. I immediately ran to the conference room and sure enough. The map of Kyoto had a X on it, at the Marina. I looked behind me and saw Karma, Nagisa, Kataoka, and Isogai standing there with Karma looking to the side as he was on the phone. Afterwards, he looked at me and said as he put his phone away, "Mr. Karasuma has been informed, and he'll meet us at the Marina with a suitcase of yen to help get John back."
"No way. We worked hard for that money, and I'm not going to let Asano and his band of motherfucking asshole fuckers take it all away from us. We go there, we go there and take him back, and take their fucking asses to jail. They're going to regret messing with my Smoochins." I said to everyone, not realizing I said Smoochins until after it said it, and I got looks from everyone. Then Nagisa said, "Smoochins?" I shot him a look that said, "Don't judge me." Then Kataoka said, "But if we don't do it, he'll kill John." Then I said, "It's not like we're completely defenseless. Remember, we were assassins, and now we're bounty Hunters, using the skills we got from Mr. Karasuma, Miss. Irina, and Koro-sensei. I'm not afraid of those fuckers."
"Language young lady." Said Koro-sensei as he just appeared out of nowhere. I looked at him and said, "Sorry sir, but I'm generally pissed right now." Koro-sensei then said, "I understand that Toka, but we must keep cool heads right now. John needs us to think rationally and come up with a plan." I sighed, knowing that Koro-sensei was correct. I then asked, "So what's the plan?.
_X_ KYOTO MARINA, CLOSE TO SUNDOWN_X_ THIRD PERSON P.O.V.
As Toka and Nagisa waited at the location that Asano indicated with two briefcases. Toka looked at Nagisa and asked, "Where are they with my Smootchins?" Nagisa chuckled and said, "I'm never letting John live that down and I don't know Toka. Patient, just stick to the plan." Toka nodded her head and waited. She didn't need to wait long though, as a black SUV pulled up into the parking lot. From the driver side stepped out Asano. Nagisa picked up both briefcases and walked up to Asano with Toka following behind him. Soon the rest of the former big five members that weren't in Jail got out, Tomoya Seo and Teppei Araki. But Natsuhiko Koyama was nowhere to be found. When they met in the middle, Asano asked, "Is it all there?" and Nagisa nodded his head and asked, "Where's John?"
"Do you think I'm stupid? I want to see the money." Asano said to Nagisa and Toka, trying to sound intimidating. Nagisa just yawned and said, "Look Asano, cut the bull shit, stop trying to act intimidating, and show us John. You're lucky we haven't gone to the police yet. Trust me when I say, we can and will." Asano growled before saying, "Look to your left." When Nagisa and Toka looked to the left. They saw Koyama waving at them before pulling John into view. Tied up by rope and two cinder blocks on the other end. Asano then said, "There, happy, he's visible. Now I want your money." Nagisa slowly walked over to Asano and placed the briefcases in front of Asano. Asano smiled and looked at Koyama and nodded his head. Signaling to Koyama to drop John in the river, cinder blocks first, which he did as Asano picked up the brief cases and walked back to the SUV, saying, "Have fun fishing your friend out of the river." Asano then got into the SUV, along with Seo and Araki, and drove off, after picking Koyama up.
A few seconds later, John emerged from under the water with Kataoka and Hayami after they cut the ropes to allow John to escape and climb up the ladder. John looked at Nagisa and Toka as she ran towards him and hugged him, John said to Nagisa, "You better have a damn good reason for letting that bastard get away with our bounty money." Nagisa smiled and said, "Now who said our money was in those briefcases?" Nagisa then pulled out a radio and said, "Target's on the move with the package."
"Copy that Pseudo-Korosensei, tracking now, we'll catch them when they make a stop." Said Karma's voice over the radio. John looked at Nagisa confused as Toka said, "We knew that even if we gave Asano the money he would have you dropped into the river. So we didn't give him the money." John looked at Toka before looking back at Nagisa and aske, "Then what the hell did you give him?" Nagisa smiled and said, "Two empty suitcases, with a tracking device in each one, so the next time they make a stop…" but Nagisa was cut off by Karma coming over the radio and he said, "Asano and his friends have been captured and are in Police Custody for Kidnapping."
"Roger that Semi-Senioritis, see you back at Headquarters," Replied Nagisa. Soon, Sugino drove up to them with one of their company trucks and said, "That plan worked perfectly." Nagisa nodded his head and he, Along with Kataoka, John, Toka, and Hayami drove back to their headquarters.
_X_ HUNTER CLASSROOM HQ _X_
John was relieved that there were a set of dry clothes for him waiting at H.Q. and after he got changed, John took out a checkbook and asked Maehara, "How much was that Bar you wanted?" and Maehara pulled the page back up and said, "¥67,000 Yen." John then wrote out a check, handed it to Maehara and said, "Here's a check for 10,000 US Dollars. Convert it to Japanese and and with the current exchange rate being 109.52 Japanese Yen given to the person for every US Dollar, that should give you a total of 1,095,220.20 Japanese Yen." Maehara was speechless, as was everyone else, John just gave Maehara a check worth over a million Japanese Yen.
"Dude, I can't take this much money." Maehara said, trying to give the check back, but John refused. John then said, "I have 3 million Dollars back in the states which I intend to turn into Japanese Yen. guess how much that is?" and Ritsu said, "Just under 330 Million Japanese Yen." Everyone looked at John and shouted, "330 MILLION?!" and John nodded his head before he said, "Yup, and I'm going to put some of that into charities, making sure our headquarters is up to date. We have the equipment that we need, all that. Not to mention with my Bank account in the states still open, all the money above the threshold to keep me from getting charged can be added on to the money I have here." Then Toka said, "Wow, and if you have that much money, we can move locations to an office building, or maybe the old Police Station downtown."
"Well, I wanted to save most of the money so I can buy us a nice big house for us, nice cars, and help the group stay up to date on bounties. Besides, I like this place, it has a lot of history for you guys" John said to the group, trying to justify having over 300 million Japanese Yen. John then said, "Not to mention that I don't have the money right now. But I would move it over when I feel like I'm completely ready." John nervously chuckled as Toka stared at him and he said, "But I do feel like i'm ready to move the money over now." John chuckled nervously again as he was followed by Toka.
_X_ KYOTO HIGHWAY, NEXT DAY_X_
John sighed in defeat as Toka hummed happily in the passenger seat. It was an uneventful day at the headquarters, not many Bounties were checked in and everyone in the group were honing in their skills. Yesterday, Toka had John transfer enough money to make sure that his Bank account in America opened while putting his bank account in Japan in the nine digit range. Today, Maehara purchased the Bar he had his eyes on with the check John gave him and invited John, Toka, Okano, Nagisa, Kataoka, Isogai, and Karma to the bar. When they got there,John and Toka saw Nagisa, Kayano, Kataoka, Isogai, Karma, and Okuda with Okano and Maehara. John then said, "Guessing Nagisa and Karma decided to bring their girlfriends." Toka nodded her head as she got out of the car and the two walked up to the group. Maehara then said, "Ladies, gentlemen, friends, Colleagues, say hello to TakoYummy!" (A.N.: I got permission to use the bar by AzureWriter83)
"TakoYummy? Let me guess, the main dish will be TakoYaki?" asked Isogai. Maehara nodded his head and said, "Yup, but we'll have other dishes too; Steak, Burgers, Fish, Crab, all that stuff. We'll even have areas strictly for Bachelor Parties and Bachelorette parties." John chuckled before he said, "Mind if we look inside it?" and Maehara said, "Not at all, come on." and Maehara led the group into the bar.
Inside TakoYummy, Maehara and the rest looked at the inside. Bar Stools with leather tops, tons of seating area, all the stuff in the kitchen looked brand new. John whistled as Isogai said, "I have to say Maehara, this place looks like it's brand new." Maehara nodded his head and said, "Yeah, not only that, but like I suggested, we can use it to trap bounties." Karma smiled and said, "That Idea is a good one. But why do I have a funny feeling that you calling us down here wasn't just so we could see the bar." John looked at Karma and said, "I was thinking the same thing Karma. I bet it has to do with what he said back in the middle east."
Meahara chuckled and said, "Yeah, it kind of does. I was thinking that since John gave me the money to buy this place, it would only be fair that he is co-owner too. I also got told by Terasaka that he can't be the bouncer due to his college being far away. So I was wondering if you two wanted to be the bouncers?" gesturing to Okano and Karma. Karma smiled and said, "Sure I'm down for that." then Okano said, "As long as I get to help kick people out of the bar." Maehara then looked back at John and before he could even speak, John said, "I already called my cousin, he's agreed to work the bar as long as I pay him $500 US Dollars a night. With the money I make weekly back in the states, That's not going to be a problem. He's on a plane heading here right now as we speak."
"Great, Thanks man." said Maehara. John gave him a thumbs up as Toka smiled. She then asked, "What do you want me to do?" and Maehara told her, "Head Waitress, simple as that. Any guy who tries to grab your ass, let Karma and Okadu know and they'll take care of it. Also John if he wants to give them a special lesson." John eyes caught on fire again as he calmly says, "Maehara you let me do that and I'll pay for the supplies to keep this place up and running." causing everyone to sweatdrop. Then Isogai said, "So uh, this place does look a little bit on the dusty side, should we take care of that?"
"Yeah, I was thinking since we're here." said Maehara as he went behind the bar and placed cleaning supplies on it before he said, "You guys want to help clean now?" and everyone was on board with that. After donning some gloves and making sure that the bar was being ventilated, everyone began the project of cleaning the bar. As they did that, John looked at Maehara and said, "So have you decided on what you wanted to charge people for the meals?" Meahara looked at John and said to him, "Not yet, but every pint of beer they buy, it'll cost them ¥17 for starters, A Mug of beer will cost them ¥7. If they want refills for pints, it will cost them another ¥8. The Limit's at 3 Pints for each person. Mug Refills will be ¥1 yen."
"Nice, and don't those beginning prices sound a little expensive, maybe ¥8 for a pint, ¥4 for mugs, and ¥2 for refills on mugs, but ¥4 for refills on pints." John said as he finished up wiping down the stool he was working on before moving to the next one. Meahara thought about it and agreed with it. John then said, "We should also have different kinds of Beer to suit the customers, Blue Moon, Millers, Corona, Etc." Maehara nodded his head and said, "I was thinking about that, and we can also have the can versions of the beers for to go meals." Then Kataoka put her two cents in and said, "What if families come in to eat?" Then John said, "We can have kids meals too, miniburgers, chicken Nuggets, sodas, and even drawable place mats. I can ask Ritsu to make the designs and we can make Holiday themes too." Then Toka said, "Well, what about the bounties, how will we get them to stay?"
"I may have an idea for that." Said a voice from the doorway. When everyone in the bar looked at the door, they saw Mr. Karasuma and Miss Irina. John walked up to Mr. Karasuma and asked, "What are you doing here sir?" and Mr. Karasuma said, "We stopped by your headquarters to give you another job that popped up in the Ministry of Defense's radar, but according to Koro-sensei, the five leaders were all here." Then Maehara said, "Yeah, I purchased this bar with money John gave me. Once we're done getting it all cleaned up, we're going to open it and keep it going." Then John said, "Yeah, but what's the mission you have for us sir?" and Mr. Karasuma handed John a file saying, "It seems that your father is on his way here to kill you John."
John's dad return, what will be the outcome, who will be killed or who will be arrested. Until the next chapter, Chusherboy93 is OUT! I did change the prices for the drinks, because I've never been to a bar, so I don't know what the normal prices would be
