Anyway, on with the story.
_X_ HUNTER CLASSROOM BRIEFING ROOM _X_ THIRD PERSON P.O.V.
When we last left off, John told the Hunter Classroom he was a part of that in the other universe, both teams had just finished the missions and they found out that Toka that came with John went into Labor.
_X_ PLANE HEADING TO JAPAN FROM THAILAND _X_JOHN'S P.O.V.
"Jiiii. Jiiiiii. Jiiiiiiiii." Young Rinka stared at young Chiba and he stared back at her. Young Kayano and Aguri looked between the snipers. Young Isogai and young Maehara were poking the snoring young Nagisa, with young Maehara snickering whenever Nagisa tried to swat them away. Young Chiba's tentacles were perched as though they were staring back as well. We were all in a jet, with Aguri, young Kayano, young Isogai, young Maehara, young Karma driving, I'm navigating, and young Nagisa still unconscious. There were also six of the agents that went with the rescue team. And between Aguri's wheelchair and young Nagisa lying on the ground of the jet on a makeshift stretcher, there wasn't all that much room.
"...so, are you going to tell me how these happened?" young Rinka asked her boyfriend, who said, "Uh, long story?" then Aguri spoke up and she said as young Rinka looked over to their old teacher"It was my fault. I injected him with an antimatter serum. I had to, Nagisa was severely hurt, and Ryu was dying from being impaled."
"What?!" Rinka gasped. She stood up and rushed over to Ryu. She grabbed his shirt and began tugging it. Young Chiba protested, "Wha-Rinka!" as he grabbed at her hands. Instead, she ripped it apart, showing his bare chest. She looked at his chest. Right above his heart, there was a small scar. Young Rinka gently felt it before asking her boyfriend, "Are you okay?"
"Y-yeah." young Chiba replied, before young Rinka said, "Good." Suddenly, young Rinka pulled back and began smacking young Chiba relentlessly as she said, "THEN HOW THE HELL CAN YOU LET THAT HAPPEN TO YOU, YOU IDIOT!" and all young Chiba could say in response was, "Ow! Ow ow ow ow ow! Come on, it's not my fault!" but young Rinka just repeated herself when she said, "How can you let that happen to you?!" Young chiba then pulled his tentacles forward and wrapped them around young Rinka's arms and waist, lifting her into the air, making her scream, "Put me down!"
"Man Rinka. You really wanted to get your hands on his body, huh?" Young Karma sniggered from the passenger seat of the cockpit. Young Rinka froze as she looked at her boyfriend. She blushed furiously when she realized that the top half of his body was exposed. Young Chiba cautiously let her down into her seat and began fixing up his shirt with the suturing kit. He cleaned the needle and put it back. The plane they were in was silent. Young, Karma, young Hayami, and I were the ones who came to pick them up, but on the way there I received a phone call.
It was one hour before we picked them up, Young Hayami decided to coma along with us and young Karma asked me as he looked over the steering wheel, "How much farther until we reach them?" I looked over the plane's navigation systems before I said, "Should be a little bit longer. Still, I'm surprised that you can drive a fighter jet. And at your age too." Then Young Rinka asked, "Is it even legal for you to have a license at your age?" Rinka asked. Young Karma just shrugged his shoulders and said, "What can I say? My parents keep giving me a crap ton of money, I figured I'll put it to good use." So I said, "So you took flying lessons? Dude, you could've used all that money for something else. Like a neat game system, or a car! You could've made some smart investments."
"I already have those. And a good house, good furniture, neat clothes, and more. So I took plane driving lessons and skydiving lessons, all the things I wanted." Young Karma shrugged again. I sweatdropped before I asked him, "Uh, what's your net worth?" and he told me, "Don't ask if you don't tell." SO I told him my net worth, I said, "Oh, uh, a little over 320 million yen. 3 million in American dollars." Then Young Karma replied by saying, "Not bad. Thanks to my constant and smart investments, however, my current net worth is 750 million yen. A little less than 7 million in American dollars." my jaw dropped before I said, "Dude, you're too rich. I'm asking my version of you for an allowance."
"I was serious about that too by the way, you and I are going to have a talk when I'm done with my story Karma." John said, as everyone looked at him with their jaws opened. Then Karma said, "Shows what he knows, I actually have 3 billion Yen, just over 10 million in American Dollars." John then said, "Not helping your case Karma." Karma realized he said that aloud and said, "First person to come ask me for an allowance gets their face planted in the dirt." Everyone then closed their mouths and looked back at John as he continued his story
After I said the Allowance thing to young Karma, a A light bulb began to blip, flashing a red light. I grabbed the radio and pressed the button on the side and said, "Hello?"
"Um, John?" Young Okuda's voice came over the radio. She then said, "I, um, know you're on your mission right now, um, but something, um, important came up." the way she said that made me worry and I asked urgently, "What is it Okuda? Did something happen?" and young Okuda said, "Well, um, well, Toka, she's, um," Okuda stammered. I looked at the radio in confusion when I heard the sound of people fighting over the phone.
"Give me-!"
"No I can-!"
"Give me the stupid phone!" shouted who sounded like young Sugino's voice. Young Karma looked at the radio and said, amused, "Wonder what that's all about." I shrugged my shoulders and said, "I dunno." Soon young Sugino's voice came over the radio and he yelled, "John, get your butt back here now! Toka is about to give birth!" Young Karma and I froze, my wife was about to give birth and I'm not there. The redhead looked at me and asked rhetorically, "Floor it?" I looked at him and said, "Boi, you'd better floor it."
Presently, I asked Karma, in a somewhat demanding tone, "Come on Karma, can't this bucket of bolts go any faster?!" Young Karma shot me a look before asking me, "How's Toka already giving birth?" and I told him, "Antimatter cells. They're speeding up the birth." then young Karma said, "That doesn't sound very safe. Don't people talk about how a sped up birth can result in someone dying before they're born?"
"Oh shit. Hurry up, I want to make sure my babies are okay! And no, we aren't having twins!" I said to young Karma who replied, in an annoyed tone, "We're going at the speed of sound. These jets aren't built to go any faster than that. It'll take us at least two and a half more hours to get to Japan." I leaned back in my seat and began tapping my feet. I could tell that young Chiba was looking at us before looking away. I looked behind and saw him looking at young Kayano and Aguri. Young Kayano was gently brushing her sister's hair, tears in her eyes. She took a cloth and carefully poured out a bottle of water.
"Akari, I'm okay!" Aguri protested as young Kayano began wiping her face with the wet cloth. Young Kayano told her sister, "You clearly haven't taken a shower or bath in years! You smell, and your face is covered in grime!" Young Karma called back and he said, "Just let her wipe ya. She's been acting quite motherly to certain people lately." Young Nagisa continued to snore gently. After a while, I asked Karma, "Hey Karma, how much longer?"
"Two hours and twenty minutes left." Karma said. As we flew, young Isogai looked at Aguri and asked what happened to her. she gathered her thoughts and said with the whole plane listening in, "Oh, well, that's kind of a long story. You see, when Kotaro found me, I was just about to die. He gave me a serum that gave me a short boost in healing, but it wasn't a perfect healing. My spinal cord was damaged, and I can walk or move my lower body voluntarily anymore." Then I said, "I guess that's why Yanagisawa said Kayano would be disappointed in what she found." young Kayano looked at me in slight anger, but not directed at me, before she said, "Does that psycho really think I wouldn't care about my sister if she couldn't move her legs? Then he really is a moron." Young Kayano then hugged her sister. Aguri smiled and hugged her sister back.
"Then what happened?" Young Isogai asked as he slapped young Maehara who was continuing to poke the sleeping tealnette, and Aguri said, "Well, he put me to work in the lab. I was put to work making perfected versions of the antimatter serum. The one I gave Chiba there was supposedly the best one. Meant to give enhanced strength, speed, durability, healing and tentacles." Aguri smiled teasingly at young Rinka before she said, "Good news for your fantasies, hm?"
"Oooo." Young Karma said teasingly. Young Rinka and young Chiba both blushed heavily at this. Young Kayano smacked her sister lightly while the agents in the plane snickered. Young Isogai and young Maehara laughed heartily. Young Nagisa snorted and opened his eyes sleepily. He reached for some empty clips and threw them at the three boys who yelped and tried to dodge. But by young Nagisa throwing the empty clips, young Karma accidentally pushed the steering wheel down, causing everyone to cry out as the plane tipped down.
"Pull up! Pull up! I will not have my wife give birth as a widow!" I yelled at the young redhead who pulled with all his might. The plane pulled up, a bit too much, and both Aguri and young Nagisa found themselves sliding back before young Karma managed to straighten the plane. I looked back and saw Aguri and young Kayano throwing young Nagisa a look. He sheepishly smiled back before cringing in pain. Young Chiba had experimented with Requiem a bit more while they were forced to wait for evidence to be gathered and Tetsunori to be secure and he had discovered a laser function in Requiem's files. He adjusted the power of the laser to cauterize young Nagisa's wound and was forced to cut off young Nagisa's leg, or he'd risk bleeding out despite the earlier treatment. A bit of unorthodox treatment, but it had to be done.
"I LOST MY LEG?!" Shouted Nagisa. John nodded his head and said, "Like I said, it had to be done, or young you would have bled out despite the earlier treatment." Nagisa placed his head on the desk as Kayano rubbed his back. As she did that, John continued the story.
"Hey Karma, how much longer?" Young Nagisa asked in pain. Young Karma looked at his injured friend and said "Two hours and five minutes. Just get some more rest." Young Nagisa nodded and closed his eyes. A few minutes passed and I asked, "How much longer?" Karma snapped at me after I asked that and he said, "You're the one on the navigation system! I should be asking you that!" Young Maehara looked around and said, "You know, it kinda feels weird. In one day, the tournament turned out to be a trap, the mission was a trap, some of us almost died, and yet here we are. Arguing, making jokes. Is it always like this?" Young Karma called back and said, "No. Usually, we're in a car." Then young Isogai said, "Man. Out of all the missions we went on, this one was definitely the craziest."
"Yeah. We've been doing this for about half a year now. Time sure flies." Young Karma noted. Then young Kayano said, as she continued to wipe away at her sister's face, "Yeah, this is a crazy ride." Young Karma then said, "It ain't over yet. The only pay we're receiving is the pay for this investigation mission. Saving Aguri was something we did for ourselves, and the tournament was a death trap. Damn that Yanagisawa!" Karma grumbled. Aguri looked at him sharply and said, "Kotaro? What did he do?" Young Karma replied, "He tried to kill us. But don't worry. We took care of him." Karma said. I scoffed at that statement.
"I took care of him. You uppercutted and suplexed him once. Even Terasaka did more than you." I told him. Young Karma then said, "Oh ho, no you didn't! You did not just say that Terasaka did more than me!" then young Nagisa said, "Trying to sleep here." Nagisa said. Tired of waiting, I said, "Okay, enough. Give me that keyboard!"
"Who are you talking to?" young Karma asked me, and I told him, "The damn author! Gimme that!" I was able to get the Keyboard from Azurewriter83
Wait, wha-
-Two hours later-
"Hey! We can use the hospital here!" Young Karma yelled. He blinked. "What the-? Did we get King Crimson-ed?" he shrugged. "Hey!"
"What's the matter, what happened?" Karasuma asked as he jogged up to the group. He grimaced at the sight of Nagisa being carried out by the six agents in the jet with him. He then said, "To the medical bay, hurry." He nodded at me to go to the hospital, having already heard about how Toka was in labour, but not knowing that it was Toka Yada. I immediately ran off, followed by young Chiba and young Rinka. This bit I was told by young Kayano. Karasuma turned to Aguri and said, "Ms Aguri Yukimura. My name is Tadaomi Karasuma. I believe you're familiar with my former co-educator Korosensei, aka the former Reaper?" as they shook hands. Aguri smiled back and she said, "Hello Tadaomi Karasuma. I heard you did a good job with my students."
"A teacher is worth as much as their student." Karasuma said, but Aguri counted by saying, "A student is worth as much as their teacher." Karasuma nodded his head and said, "Then I suppose we shall have to find a balance." Aguri laughed slightly. She leaned back in her wheelchair, Karasuma noted this and said, "You look tired." Aguri nodded her head and said, "Well, I've been working very hard these past few years." Karasuma nodded his head in response before he said, "We have some questions for you, but that can wait. We have a nice apartment prepared for you, paid for about a year, with furniture matching the ones we found in your former apartment."
"Wow. Wasn't expecting this from the government." Aguri commented, and Karasuma told her, "From the government, as a favor for my former students." He nodded to young Kayano who began pushing Aguri's wheelchair away. He then said, "We have a driver taking you home."
"Thank you Mr Karasuma. Say thank you Akari." Aguri said. After she rolled her eyes, young Kayano said, "Thank you Mr Karasuma." She then wheeled her older sister away. After that, Karasuma turned back to the plane to see young leading a few agents leading down some groggy teens, all with tentacles. He raised a brow at the sight of one looking a lot like me, but shrugged it off. He gestured them to the medical bay to get exa- I didn't let Azurewriter83 finish, my wife was in labor. So I said, "Hey! Enough of that, to the hospital! Toka is in labor! Gimme that keyboard!"
How are you-
At the Hospital Toka was in, I ran over to a nurse and said, "Hey! Hey hey hey, John Bertrand. My wife is in labour here." When the nurse asked me for her name, I said, "Toka Bertrand." After typing in her name, the Nurse then said, "She's in Room 117." the nurse said. She looked up only to blink at the sight of the missing man. She looked to the side to see me running through the hall Joseph Joestar style. I assumed she was shaking her head amusedly as she said, "Ah, first time fathers."
"111, 113, 115," I listed as he ran by nurses and doctors. Spotting 117, I quickly ran in and said, "Toka! I'm here-" only to get a great big, "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" from a screaming Toka, sending Iflying back into the wall. I then muttered to myself, "And I thought Sirenhead was terrifying when he was screaming." I flipped to my feet and ran back into the room. Toka was lying on the bed, dressed in a hospital gown that, quite frankly, I thought she looked amazing in, then again I think anything she wears is amazing. Young Okuda and young Kanzaki were at her sides, but backed away when I came over. Young Takebayashi, a former classmate of the Assassination Classroom with black hair and glasses, was standing at the foot of the bed, mask over his face with hospital equipment and gloves. I was quickly dressed in a hospital gown and cap with a mask over my face and gloves. I rushed over to Toka's side and nearly fainted with the pain of her gripping my hands.
"Okay, John right?" Takebayashi said to me and I said,"Yes." young Takebayashi then said, "Good. So, Toka is about to give birth. Now, Toka. Don't tense your face okay? Just push when I tell you, or when you feel a contraction okay?" That was when Toka screamed, "GET IT OVER WITH!" sending young Takebayashi rolling backwards. After changing his gloves and mask for cleaner ones, he went back to the foot of the bed. He led her through pushing the baby out. young Takebayashi then said, "Okay, gently this time, or you'll risk a tear. Gently, gently."
"I GET IT!" Toka screamed. Young Takebayashi then said, "...soon I'll be sending you my medical bill for hearing aids. Okay, gently now. Push. Push. Push." Then I said, "Is it over yet?" I groaned in pain as Toka continued to crush my hand. I was pretty sure that soon Nagisa wouldn't be the only one to lose a limb today. Young Takebayashi then looked at us and said, "Almost. Toka, the head is out, the rest should be easy." He carefully held the newborn's head and gently led it out of Toka's entrance. He held up the baby and gave it a quick spank as I was giving a chance to cut the umbilical cord, making the baby cry. But its cry was weak. Young Takebayashi looked over the baby in concern.
"Oh dear." he muttered. He quickly carried the baby out. Young Okuda chased the young doctor as she asked, "Takebayashi? What's wrong?" young Kanzaki and I were quick to follow with the now tired Toka's permission. The three of us were stopped when they reached a room. I paced back and forth for a bit as I said quietly and prayed, 'Please. Please please please please please.' A nurse came out, and I quickly rushed over to her and asked, "What's happening?" The Nurse says to me, "The baby's anatomy is fine, but it's not working properly for some reason. There might be a chance they won't live." the nurse said. My heart sank, Toka and I could lose another child and I begged her, "Please, I already lost one kid, please tell me I won't lose another!"
"John, you're crying." said Megu. John wiped his cheek and saw that Megu was right before he said, "Sorry, but this part has made me think about the first son Toka and I were expecting but lost on our honeymoon." Then Yuma said, "Look John, if you don't want to finish the story…" but John said, "No, you should know what happened." John then continued his story.
"We're doing all we can." the nurse assured me before going back into the room. I walked over and sat on a bench nearby, about to cry. I prayed in my head for the big man in that universe not to take my and Toka's newborn son when young Isogai and young Maehara rushed over to me and young Isogai asked "Hey man! What's wrong?" The rest of the official members of the Hunter Classroom of that universe, bearing young Nagisa, who was being treated, and young Kayano, who was with her sister, came over as well. I shakingly explained what was wrong. I then said, "I need to go tell Toka, excuse me."
After entering the room Toka was in, she saw that I had tears in my eyes and she got tears in hers as she asked me, "What's happening?" and I told her after getting to her bedside, "According to a nurse, The baby's anatomy is fine, but it's not working properly for some reason. There might be a chance he won't live." that made Toka Burst out in tears and say, "No, oh lord please no. Not this one! We already lost one, please don't take this one from us." I wrapped my arms around Toka, who wrapped her arms around and we both prayed to god to allow us to keep our son.
Megu looked at Yuma, who nodded his head. Megu stood up and walked over to John and gave him a hug. John smiled and said, "Thanks Megu." Megu nodded her head and said, "Don't mention it, it looked like you were about to break down." John nodded his head and said, "I was actually. But anyway, on with the story." as he wiped the tears from his cheeks
Two days have passed. Young Nagisa had recovered from his injuries and had come over to the hospital. He leaned on a cane and Sakura, who had become extremely worried about her tutor. Nagisa's mother dropped the two off, as while young Nagisa said he had recovered, it was a miracle he was walking at all. Then Nagisa's mother said, "Nagisa, when you return, I want to talk about your... occupation." That was when young Nagisa said over his shoulder, "Nothing to talk about mom. I'm retiring early. Gonna focus on helping Kayano take care of Ms Yukimura and teaching Sakura." Nagisa's mother let out a breath in relief before she said, "Good. I'll see you two later then." She drove away as young Nagisa hobbled into the hospital, with Sakura's help. Sakura looked at her tutor and asked worryingly, "Nagisa, just what have you been doing?" Young Nagisa looked at her and said, "I've been serving as a non-lethal bounty hunter." Sakura looked up at her mentor and said, "A bounty hunter?"
"Non-lethal, but yes." he nodded. He figured, one way or another, Sakura would find out. So, why not tell her now. She then said, "That... is so cool! Why didn't you tell me?" and young Nagisa said to her, "We can talk about that later. Right now, I want in." as he stumbled forward. Sakura pouted but helped her teacher. She glanced at his cane. His cane was around ninety-two centimeters, and was made of snakewood. A silver snake head adorned the top of the handle. Custom made. She thought it looked quite fancy.
"Nagisa? You shouldn't be out this early." Young Karma scolded as he saw his best friend. When young Nagisa said, "You upset?" young Karma shook his head, grinned and said, "Hell no. Give me five ya rebel!" as he slapped his hand against young Nagisa's. Young Nagisa then said, "They're building me a prosthetic foot. I kinda wanted a peg, but beggars can't be choosers. How's the baby?"
"Well, not good." young Karma quickly explained to young Nagisa the situation. Young Karma told young Nagisa, "And we just got an update. Apparently, the baby is becoming weaker, and the doctors are afraid of trying anything else. All we can do now is wait, and there's a ninety percent chance he'll die." Young Nagisa frowned. He walked down the hall, lurching about on his cane. Young Karma and young Sakura stuck close. He soon came across the waiting group. Most had gone to the waiting room, but young Chiba, young Rinka, and I remained. Toka was still resting in her room. I looked at my son on the table through the glass, wishing and praying that the big man upstairs didn't take my son.
I then heard young Nagisa whisper into young Chiba's ear and he said, "Chiba, I want to try something." I didn't hear what young Nagisa was saying, but heard young Chiba asked, "You sure that will work?" and young Nagisa said, "It wouldn't hurt to try." young Chiba pulled out his tentacles. He held one tentacle over to me and slipped another under the door. The tentacle slithered forward, eventually reaching my son, lying on the table.
"What are you-" John started. But young Chiba interrupted me by saying, "Talk." Ryu said. I raised a brow and young Nagisa told me "Tell him to be strong. To be healthy." Nagisa encouraged me. I looked at the tentacle and grabbed it gently. On the other end, the other tentacle expanded into a funnel. Then I said softly "Hey little guy. It's me, daddy. Listen, I need you to do something for me, okay? I need you to be strong. I need you to be healthy. I need you to live. Please, I can't lose you too like I lost your older brother." A minute passed. Two minutes. Nagisa looked at me sadly as tears began to form and he said, "Sorry. It was a long shot, but-"
"Shh!" young Chiba suddenly said. I perked up and listened in. Soon, we all heard it. A baby's loud cry. I then hollered, "Doctor! Doctor, get my baby out of there!" Young Takebayashi came hurtling down the hall after young Chiba pulled back his tentacles. He bursted into the room, the sounds of healthy cries reaching them. I nearly sobbed in relief as young Takebayashi carefully carried out my living, breathing baby. Young Takebayashi then handed me my son and I held him carefully and allowed young Sakura to see him. I then heard young Karma ask young Nagisa, "How did you know that would work?"
"It was a long shot, but I remembered how Korosensei, Itona, and Kayano all made a wish to their tentacles. I figured, if the baby had enough antimatter cells to be born that quickly, why not have enough cells for that?" Young Nagisa. I then heard young Karma say, "And your guess paid off." I leaned down and kissed my baby son's brow. He slowly stopped crying, and his eyes slowly opened to a squint, and I whispered, "Thank you. Thank you for winning against death." I then carefully, but quickly began walking over to Toka's room. The other five people with me followed me to the room, but i'm pretty sure they stopped when they heard Toka's loud cry in happiness.
I handed Toka our son and said, "Here's mommy." I wrapped my arm around Toka's shoulders as we looked at our son. Toka looked at me and said, "He's perfect." I nodded my head as my eyes let loose the tears of Joy for our son being alive. I then kissed Toka on her lips, she kissed back, before we looked back at our son
"Oh my god, he's adorable!" young Okuda and young Kanzaki squealed. The baby was quiet, but awake in his mother's arms. young Okuda and young Kanzaki wanted to hold the baby, but Toka wasn't willing to give up her child just yet. Young Karma then asked, "You have a name yet?" I told him, "Hm. We don't really know what to name him." That was when young Nagisa suggested, "Why not Masaru?" Toka and I looked at him and Toka said, "Masaru? Victory?"
"What else will you call these past few days? The death of Yanagisawa, the discovery of Ms Yukimura, your baby winning against death! Is there a better fitting name?" young Nagisa asked rhetorically. Toka smiled and said, "I like it. It's a good name." Then I said, "It's settled then. Masaru Bertrand." Masaru looked at me and put his arms out, making Toka say, "Seems like someone wants their daddy." I smiled and carefully took Masaru and sat down in the chair next to Toka's Hospital bed and looked at the handsome baby boy Toka and I made. I then said, "We make one handsome kid, wouldn't you say Toka?" Toka nodded her head and said, "Yeah, we do, can't wait for all the special moments we make with him." I nodded my head at that and said, "Me too Toka…" I looked back at Masaru and said, "Me too."
After the Hospital allowed Toka to go home, we were in the headquarters of that world's Hunter Classroom. I walked into the room where young Itona had the Portal Gun. I saw him working on it and said, "Hey Itona. How's the portal gun coming along?" Toka walked in after me, with Masaru fast asleep in her arms. The white haired emo glanced up at us before looking back down. I saw the portal gun, it looked the same, except it was a little bulkier, with a screen and keypad added. Young Itona then said, "It should be done. Just gotta make sure that it works." With his arm as it was, young Itona had gotten Ritsu to help him with the maintenance. The portal gun was simpler that he thought it would be, but it certainly wasn't a baking soda volcano. I then asked him, "Any idea as to why it melted down like that?"
"The circuitry. Since you're the one who used it, you're the only one who can. It's ID locked, and the melting down was supposed to be a self-destruct of the machine. That, and our earlier guess of it being too much for the glove to travel to other universes. Luckily, the circuitry wasn't too damaged. Not only was this relatively easy to fix, but I was also able to reverse engineer it. I already have the blueprints, just have to finish fixing the original." Young Itona said. Toka and I sat to the side as we waited. Young Itona looked the glove over one time before screwing in the protective shell on the outside. He then tossed the glove over to me and said "Try it out." I slipped the glove on and pointed it at the wall. It fired and an orange portal stuck itself on the wall. I grinned and fired again just below the wall. A blue portal stuck itself on the floor.
After that, i tossed a 100 yen coin into the blue portal, causing the yen to keep falling through the portals in an endless loop. I grabbed the coin before it built up too much momentum and grinned at the technician and said, "Itona, you genius! It's fixed!" Young Itona then said, "We've also tested out the Alternate Universe Function." That was when Toka said, "Are you sure that it was safe to do that? You said that it was too much for the gun last time."
"It didn't have the proper stabilizer last time." young Itona said before nodding to Ritsu to explain, she said, "We scanned the glove and its energy feed. There are three different frequencies. Two of them are meant to be the standard portals. The other one was meant to create a doorway into alternate universes. However, the metal inside the portal gun, magnesium, wasn't able to properly conduct the energy."
"Really? Then how did you figure it out?" I asked, and young Itona said, "We tested out some of the other metals that would be cost effective. When we asked you about the portal gun, you said that it was meant to be a weapon. So we checked out some of the common metals with Okuda's help." Then Ritsu said, "But then Sugino had an idea. He said that the reason why magnesium was used could be because it was cost effective. So, we tried using some of the more expensive metals. And the one we found to work was gold."
"Gold?" I repeated. After getting a head nod from young Itona and Ritsu, I began laughing out loud, surprising Toka. She rocked Masaru who had become fussy with his father's outburst and asked, "What's so funny?" I told her, "Alternate Universes, AU. Gold, Au!" Ritsu and Toka also began to laugh. The irony was too great. Then young Itona said, "The gun's AU Function was randomized before, but now you have a way to properly travel to other worlds by choice with the keypad. We actually tested it out, and it worked. We actually saw one universe similar to ours, except everyone was tiny, and Korosensei was apparently a demon king." Then Ritsu added on when she said, "It was a funny and cute world. We had to leave when the Nagisa in that world turned into a ten foot tall titan though. We also made it so that you can return to worlds you were previously in, and save certain universe coordinates, like bookmarking a webpage. We've already added ours and yours. That way you can visit us."
"Awesome! Now we can do crossovers whenever Crusherboy93 wants." I said. Young Itona and Ritsu looked at me and said, "Who?" and Toka told them, "Just ignore him." Then I said, as I stood up, "Thanks Itona. We were lucky to enter your world out of all the worlds we could've. I'd say you're better at this than our Itona. Let's gather everyone. It's time to go home."
Itona shot John a look and said, "Please, given me the schematics and I can build a Portal Gun that doesn't need an ID lock." John chuckled before he said, "I believe it Itona, I believe it, not let me tell you what happened before we got home."
"Well, guess we'll see you later guys." I said as I shook hands with young Karma, and he said, "Yeah. Don't be a stranger." Then young Kayano said, "Give our regards to ourselves." before Aguri said, "Tell your Korosensei we also said hi." I told her,"In our world, we call him Sone Noboru." and she told me, "Is that his name in your world? Here, his name was Sawada Rokuro." I looked at her and said, "So Korosensei, was named Rokuro here?" but I shook his head before I said, "Okay, we'll give him your love." Aguri then said, "Thank you John. We'll take care of this world's version of you." I nodded and smiled at the Hunter Classroom of that world, young Nagisa, young Okuda, young Karma, young Kayano, young Sugino, young Isogai, young Itona, young Toka, Ritsu, young Rinka, and young Chiba. The last person I leaned over too and whispered into his ear, "Your adventures are far from over. Stay strong Chiba." John whispered. Young Chiba nodded his head and said, "I will." he said. Toka and I gave them all one last smile, Toka taking Masaru's arm and waving it for him, causing the baby to whine and squirm slightly. After that I pointed the portal glove at the wall and fired it. We walked through it and here we are."
_X_ HUNTER CLASSROOM BRIEFING ROOM _X_ THIRD PERSON P.O.V.
"That was the entire time Toka and I were on the other side of the Portal." John finished his story. Karma smiled and said, "I have to say John, that's some Story." Then Nagisa said, "Says the guy who's alternate universe's version didn't have their leg cut off." John looked at Nagisa and said, "I told you, it had to be done, or young you would have bled out despite the earlier treatment." Soon, Toka walked in with Masaru in her arms, getting awws and cute faces from all the girls. She then walked over to John, kissed him on the Cheek and said, "Just got done telling them what happened on the other side of the Portal?"
John nodded his head and he took his son, faced him to everyone and said, "Everyone, meet Masaru Bertrand." The first people to get to the baby were Megu, Kayano, Kurahashi, Kanzaki, and Okuda. John then said, "Toka and I have also been meaning to ask you guys… if you wanted to be Masaru's aunts and uncles." It didn't take long for an answer from everyone and they all said yes, Masaru's life was going to be an interesting one.
