_X_ HUNTER CLASSROOM H.Q., TWO DAYS AFTER LAST BOUNTY _X_ THIRD PERSON P.O.V.
When we last left off, John and Sugino just handed John's old Middle School Bully, Henry Gonzalez, over to Agent O'Hara and received the bounty on Henry's head. After which, they flew back to Japan to help get their old Headquarters back up to code. With all of them pitching in, it took them only a day to get their base back up to standards. The next day, John called everyone into the briefing room and told them what Rock and Creed told him, causing Karma to lean back and say. "I thought all the tentacles that were a part of the project that gave you Rock and Creed." John crossed his arms and said, "That's what I thought too. How Rykui got a hold of Jaden's Tentacles is beyond me." John then looked at Mr. Karasuma and without him saying words to the Agent, Mr. Karasuma said, "Don't worry John, the Ministry of Defense will look into it, we'll coordinate with the FBI and CIA to see how it happened."
John nodded his head and said, "Thank you Mr. Karasuma. I know the MoD will try to figure it out, and I appreciate it. Anyway, Just figured I'd let you know about it. Let's call it for the day." Everyone agreed and got up. John then said, "Toka, a moment please?" confused, Toka looked at her husband and as the others left, John looked at her and said, "Did you have to tell everyone how I am hiding something?" Toka smiled and stuck her tongue out and said, "I couldn't help myself, it was during girl talk with Yukiko, Manami, Kaede, Megu, and Hinata. I can't control what they tell their husbands." Before I could even respond, Nagisa opened the door and said, "Hey John, I want you to meet someone." John and Toka looked at Nagisa as a pink haired girl walked in and Toka immediately recognized and said, "Sakura!" and the pink haired said, "Hey Mrs. Yada, or should I say Mrs. Bertrand?"
"Just Toka's fine sweetie, what can we do for you?" Toka said. Sakura replied, "I heard that my former Mentor's old bounty hunter group reformed and I was wondering if I could join, I've taken Martial Arts classes and reached Black belt." But Nagisa said, "You promised me that you wouldn't tell him that." Nagisa then looked at John and said, "I'd figure that she would be perfect to help around the headquarters, and NOT go on missions." John chuckled as he walked up to the two and shook hands with Sakura before he said, "Well Sakura, welcome to the Hunter Classroom. For the first few missions, we'll have you play a supporting role, that okay?" and Sakura said, in a pissed off tone, "Okay." John then looked at Toka and said, "Do you mind showing Sakura around?" and Toka said, "Not at all, follow me Sakura."
After the two girls left, John looked at Nagisa and said, "You need to stop worrying about her." making Nagisa give him his python glare and he said, "I'll pretend you did not just say that." John then said, "Nagisa, she's an Adult, she's married, and has a freaking kid named after you. You can't be an overprotective parent to her forever. You're not even her dad." Then Nagisa said, "Hey, she's lucky her boyfriend, now husband, meets my standards. Otherwise I would have made him disappear." John then said, "Nagisa, she needs to spread her wings and fly. From what I heard from everyone, your mother was just like this. Except you're not making Sakura wear boy clothes."
"Grr, fine. I'll let her go on a FEW missions." Nagisa said. John chuckled before he said, "Let me guess, a few being 4?" Nagisa looked at John and said, "Don't tempt me." Before John could retort to Nagisa's comment, Toka and Sakura returned and Toka said, "and that's the headquarters." Sakura smiled and said, "Amazing, and this used to be the old classroom, Cool." John then told Sakura, "Well Sakura, your old Mentor and I have been talking. He agrees to let you go on a few missions to see how you handle yourself, that okay with you?" and Sakura nodded her head and said, "Yup, I'm fine with that." John then said, "Then how about we celebrate the new addition to our team with a round of beer at TakoYummy." Hiroto still owned TakoYummy, it had boomed in the ten years since the Hunter classroom disbanded. Hinata was a part time waitress and bouncer since she had her own full time Job at a Gym as a personal Trainer for little kids with disabilities. But Toka said, "Pass. I have to pick Masaru up from his grandparents house or else they'll smother him with gifts." John chuckled and said, "Okay Toka, give my love to mom and dad for me will ya."
Toka kissed her husband on the lips and said, "I will, come home safely will you." JOhn nodded his head before he said, "You're forgetting that Rock and Creed caused me to have a high Metabolism, like Captain America and the Super Soldier serum." Toka sighed and said, "I know they can do that, just please be careful." Then John said, "Of course sweetie." Toka then kissed John passionately before she left in her personal Car. When Toka wasn't taking care of Masaru, she worked at TakoYummy as a Waitress, and she was starting to get her degree in law so she could help convict people of their crimes. John was proud of her, and wanted to help her reach that goal in any way he could.
_X_ LATER, AT TAKOYUMMY _X_
When John, Nagisa, and Sakura got to TakoYummy, Maehara saw them and motioned them over to three open seats and they all sat down on one each, with Sakura in the middle. Hiroto then said, "What's the occasion?" and Nagisa told him, "Sakura is joining the Hunter Classroom and we're having drinks to celebrate. Sakura is only allowed one though." John, Sakura, and Hiroto all looked at Nagisa and before anyone could say a word, Ritsu appeared on John's phone and she said, "John, there's a man with a bounty on his head heading this way for a drink." John looked at Sakura and said, "Time to see if you can make the cut…" before he turned back to Ritsu and he said, "Who's the target Ritsu?"
"A Chinese man by the name of Li to the bounty information, he's wanted in China for terrorism against the governement." John looked at his fellow teammates, before looking back at Ritsu and said, "What's the group he's a part of?" After a while, Ritsu said, "The Group claims to be rebels against the Current Government and is trying to have the Republic of Taiwan as the official Chinese Government." John looked back at the others and said, "Should we…" and Nagisa said, "We should at least ask him, you said our tentacles can tell if someone is lying right?" John nodded his head, looked at Hiroto and said, "Bring him over here when he comes in." Hiroto nodded his head and as soon as Li Meng walked in, Hiroto grabbed his arm and brought him over to John, Sakura, and Nagisa as John slipped creed down his back and when Li Meng was placed in front of John, Creed slipped down onto the floor and camouflage with the color of the floor as John asked Li Meng, "So Li Meng, are you really a member of a rebel group against the Chinese Government?" and Li Meng tells him, "Yes, I am a member of the rebel group, I'm also a head figure of it." As he said that, Creed went over Li Meng's shoe and felt that he was telling John the truth and reported back to him.
"Okay, do you actually want the Republic of Taiwan instated as the official Chinese Government?" John asked Li Meng, who said that he did. Creed told John that he was telling the truth again. John nodded his head and told Li Meng, "I asked you those questions because the Chinese Government has a price on your head. We wanted to see if you were what they described you as, a terrorist. We can see that it's wrong." Li Meng then said, "Really? Wait, are you members of the Hunter Classroom Bounty Hunter Group?" and all four listeners nodded their heads. John then said, "We'll let you go, keep up the good fight for a better China." Li Meng nodded his head and Asked if he could go. John said that he could go and Maehara handed Li Meng a can of beer and said, "For the road." Li Meng took it and thanked them all before walking out.
_X_ HUNTER CLASSROOM HEADQUARTERS, NEXT DAY_X_ JOHN'S P.O.V.
After talking to Li Meng yesterday, I was in the Armoury going over the list of Ammo we need when I heard the familiar sound of a Portal opening and when I looked outside the door, a big smile appeared on my face as I saw young Nagisa and young Kayano from the time we did the first crossover with AzureWriter83. The first to speak was Young Nagisa and he said, "Is this the right world? is this where John Bertrand's world is? with Masaru and Toka?" Young Kayano, who was holding the portal gun, shrugged her shoulders as I placed the clipboard I had in my hands down before walking up to them and said to the tealnette, "you bet it is you wonderful bastard." Young Nagisa and young Kayano spun around and smiled at me. As we shook hands in greeting, I said, "welcome to our world."
"Thanks John, great to see you again. By the way, you seem to have aged quickly. no offence." young Nagisa quickly said. I replied, "None Taken Nagisa, actually, it's been ten years." Then young Kayano shouted, "TEN?! But, it's only been a year for us!" and I responded, "and a day didn't even pass for this world when we came back. Multi-universal travel is weird." as I shrugged my shoulders. Young Nagisa rubbed the space between his eyes in slight annoyance before he said, "I'll never understand these Multi-universal travel rules. But anyway, how are Toka and Masaru?" and I told them, "I was actually going to meet them at Hiroto's Restaurant and Bar, he owns a Bar and Restaurant in this world. Wanna come along, everyone should be there too." Young Kayano and young Nagisa looked at each other before looking back at me and they said, "Sure." I smiled and the three of us got in my new Truck and I drove us to TakoYummy.
_X_ TAKOYUMMY _X_
When I parked my truck, Kayano helped Nagisa get out and the three of us walked to the door. Hiroto created the schedule where everyone in the Hunter Classroom could relax there all at once. Young Kayano left the Portal Gun hidden in my truck, for safety reasons. As I walked in, I saw Toka and Marsau and said to Toka, "You'll never guess who I ran into before coming here." When everyone looked at the door, I allowed young Kayano and young Nagisa to walk in, shocking everyone as Toka handed Marsau off to Megu and ran up to us and said, "Keade, Nagisa!" as she hugged the younger versions of the people she said.
"They came over to visit us from their world." I said as we got in so I could close the door. The first people to react were my worlds Nagisa and Kayano and they approached us and got a good look at their other universe counterparts. Young Nagisa then said, "I see I kept the hairstyle from junior High in this world too." then Nagisa chuckled before he looked down and said to me, "You weren't kidding, I really did lose my leg." Then Young Nagisa sighed before he said, "Yeah, but this hasn't stopped me from helping my world's Hunter Classroom." I then looked at Toka and said, "Apparently it's only been one year since we came back from their world."
"Seriously?" Toka asked me, and I simply nodded my head and said, "Yeah, seriously, they were surprised that it's been ten years on our end. Bring Masaru over here, they asked about him on the way here." Toka nodded her head and called for Masaru and I knelt down and scooped him up as he ran to us. I then looked at young Nagisa and young Kayano and said, "You two remember Marsau right?"
"That's Marasu, he's so big now. Hey there Kiddo, I got something for you." said young Nagisa as he reached into his backpack that he brought with him and pulled out a Toy for him. Nagisa then said, "See if you can solve this in under 60 seconds." Marsau took the toy and under 10 seconds, solved it and handed it back to young Nagisa and said, "Here you go young uncle Nagisa." Young Nagisa and young Kayano were speechless as I said, "He inherited his mother's and mine brains." I then asked the two other universal beings, "Not that it isn't good to see you, but what are you two doing here?" young Nagisa told me, "Well, we wanted to see how you guys were doing. Pay a visit and all that." Then Toka said cheerfully, "Well, you guys are more than welcome here."
_X_ TAKOYUMMY _X_ THIRD PERSON P.O.V.
Young Kayano and young Nagisa smiled as Kayano called Aguri over and she saw Young Kayano and young Nagisa. Aguri then said, "So you're the Kaede Kayano from the other universe John and Toka went to, a pleasure." Soon Aguri and Kaede took young Kayano off to the side as Nagisa and young Nagisa talked about young Nagisa's lost leg. Nagisa then asked young Nagisa, "Do you have phantom pains?" getting a confused look from young Nagisa. Young Nagisa then asked, "Phantom pains? for my foot?" to which Nagisa said, "Yeah. does it ever hurt?" and young Nagisa said, "Naturally, but my, well, our grandmother taught me a special acupuncture style to treat it." Nagisa smiled and said, "That's Grandma for you. So do you still tutor Sakura?"
"Someone said my name?" said Sakura as she walked in, only to get a look of shock and surprise on her face as she saw two Nagisa and two Kayano. She tried to say something, but she couldn't as she passed out, and Nagisa dashed over to catch her, catching young Nagisa off guard, he then said, "How did you move that fast?" and John told young Nagisa, "Simple, the Nagisa in this world, along with Karma, asked me to help them implant tentacles in their necks." It took a few seconds for both young Nagisa and young Kayano to process what John just said before they shouted, "WHAT?!" Then Karma walked over and said, "Yeah, and before you two ask, it's so that way we can help John in case he comes across another tentacle user, which led us to reforming." Young Kayano looked at John and asked him, "What caused you to disband in the first place?" That made everyone in the Room, except for Marsau, young Kayano, and young Nagisa flinch and stay quiet.
"Was it something I said?" young Kayano asked as she saw Kaede and Aguri tear up before John said, "Young Nagisa, young Kayano, I think you need to sit together for this." Young Nagisa and young Kayano looked at each other with confused looks before young Nagisa sat next to young Kayano and John had Kaede and Aguri leave their side of the booth. John then said, "After Toka and I got back from your world, there was an incident, I got captured and in order for me to get released, Sone and Aguri had to give themselves up." Then Karma took over and he said, "When we got John back, I got hit in the shoulder by a sniper. Red eye was looking for the sniper and Sone acted as bait by his own choice, we got the sniper, but…" Karma looked away, he couldn't finish, so John said, "He got shot in the head by the sniper before Red Eye could kill him." Young Nagisa then said, "So Korosensei in this world's… dead?"
John looked at the table and said, "Yes. His death was the reason we disbanded in the first place, but now we're back together, but nothing can bring Sone back. I'm sorry to have to tell you that." Both young Nagisa and young Kayano were silent before young Nagisa asked, "C… Can we have some privacy please?" John nodded his head and they all watched as young Nagisa and young Kayano got up and walked out the door. John and everyone saw the two other universal beings look at each other before young Kayano pulled young Nagisa into a slow hug and began to cry in his chest. Everyone could tell that young Nagisa was trying to stay strong for young Kayano, but not even he could hold the Dam together for long and he started to cry as well.
"Kayano and I did that right after we got home." Nagisa said to the still quiet Hunter Classroom Bounty Hunter Group. John looked at Toka, who began to shed some tears of her own, and he pulled her close and rubbed her shoulder as they all thought about the day of the Funeral.
_X_ SONE'S FUNERAL, 10 YEARS AGO _X_
After the Hunter Classroom disbanded, a funeral was held for Sone Noboru. It had to be a closed casket sadly, no one wanted to see the hole in his head. John, Toka, and Marsau sat in the front right while Aguri, Kayano, and Nagisa sat in the front left. Nagisa's Parents were behind them and the rest of the former Hunter Classroom Members filling in behind them. Miss. Irina showed up and said that Mr. Karasuma couldn't make it because of a situation in the MoD that he needed to help. The weather was cloudy with a chance of rain. As Toka rocked Marsau in her arms, John watched as the Priest walked up to the podium and said how Life and death are always interconnected. Death was just God's plan for all of us. He then said, "Sone Noboru was a well respected man among his peers. His Death, how tragic it may be, was inevitable in his line of work."
He wasn't wrong, death is always a possibility in our line of work. But Sone didn't just die, he was fucking murdered. The priest then said, "Yes, when Korosensei got gunned down in his human form he…" but he didn't finish as Nagisa said, "Hang one… how did you know that he was once Korosensei? We said his name was Sone Noboru…" The priest was a little hesitant at first and that's when John saw it, a Tattoo on his right of the letters T, O, and S all interconnected. John then said, "HE'S WITH THE TROOPS OF SHIRO!" and Karma, Nagisa, Kayano, and Terasaka pulled out their concealed pistols and aimed them at the Priest. John then called out Rock and Creed and wrapped them around the Priest. JOhn then pulled up the sleeve to show everyone the tattoo and Karma said, "Just like the idiots we killed in hunting down the real Shiro." John looked the priest in his eyes and said, "If it wasn't for fucking idiotic dickweeds like you, Sone would still be alive right now."
"HA! If you and ur idiotic friends have just stayed at ur homes, he would have been killed rightfully by our leader." said the Priest. John then punched the priest in the face, knocking him out and told Miss. Irina, "Call the MoD, tell them that we have another T.o.S.S.o.B.'' Miss. Irina nodded her head and said, "I already sent the message to Tadaomi." John nodded his head and he said, "Let's continue with the funeral shall we?" Everyone nodded their heads as John went up to the podium to continue the funeral.
_X_ TAKOYUMMY, PRESENT DAY _X_
John rubbed Toka's shoulder some more as he shed a tear, thinking about that day. Soon young Kayano and young Nagisa came and young Nagisa said, as he wiped the tears from his cheeks, "I appreciate you telling us this and not having to find out from someone else." John nodded his head and said, "Of course, he was a tremendous help building our headquarters." Then young Nagisa said, "Well, we got a new headquarters. After we signed up with the Government to do bounties for them, they gave it to us. The new base is about four floors, and is located on the side of a cliff. The first floor has a computer lab, info room, and meeting room. the second floor has about twenty rooms for sleeping should the members not be able to get home. the third floor is where Okuda experiments, Itona invents, and where the med bay is. the top floor has entertainment and a kitchen, for free time. there's also a basement, filled with a multitude of vaults for weapons and armor."
"Damn man, at least you are on good terms with the government now. How many bounties have you been on after Toka, Masaru and I left?" John asked young Nagisa, to which he said, "Well, not a whole lot actually, Ever since my leg, I've been keeping back from going on missions. I've mostly been at the base. I had decided to help my Teammates from afar, by using some satellites to watch over the area and giving them help." John nodded his head and said, "Okay. Anyway, how about we treat you two to a meal here on the house and we can catch up." But Kayano placed her hand on John's shoulder before she said, "Actually, how about we leave these two alone for their meal." she then whispered into John's ear, "Maybe they can get together as a result."
John smiled and said, "Right, change of plans, you two are going to enjoy a nice dinner, on the house, with no interruptions." Young Kayano and young Nagisa blushed as everyone was moving around as they were pushed ever so slightly to a table by their older counterparts. Once at the table, Hiroto looked at Yuma and said, "Two house specials Yuma." Yuma replied, "Coming right up." and Yuma, Sumire, and Takuya set out to make two house specials; Teriyaki TakoYaki with a fresh Noodle Base, fluffy roll on the side with TakoYummy's special butter on the side, along with a side of fresh hot Noodle soup topped with pieces of carrot, celery, and onion. As John served them drinks, tea and water, Ritsu buzzed his phone and when he answered it, Ritsu said, "John, I just detected a window being broken at headquarters."
"Understood Ritsu, we'll check it out." John said before he hung up the phone. John then said, "Megu, Hinata, Karma, Itona. Let's go. Ritsu just detected an unauthorized someone at headquarters." Megu, Hinata, Karma, and Itona nodded their heads and followed John to his truck where Itona saw the Portal Gun Young Kayano and young Nagisa used to get into their world and ran back in to give it to them before getting in John's truck and drove back to their headquarters.
_X_ HUNTER CLASSROOM HEADQUARTERS _X_
When John, Megu, Hinata, Karma, and Itona arrived at their headquarters, they saw that there was a broken window. As Megu, Hinata, Karma, and Itona readied their pistols, John said "Don't bother, whoever broke the window, broke it from the inside. See the glass shards on the ground." Megu, Hinata, Karma, and Itona saw the shards and holstered their pistols. JOhn looked through the broken window and saw that it led to the room that young Nagisa and young Kayano entered from their world, with a still opened portal. John crossed his arms and said, "Seems to me that we have a bounty from their world in ours, this is going to be fun." John then looked at Itona and said, "Check the Security Cameras and find out who or what the hell came through?
