Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze was a little boy, but he was not a fool. He had overcome many hardships and attempts of physical abuse that only made him stronger and smarter. He knew the importance of a weapon if he had one, and also knew he had to keep it a secret if he were to keep himself alive. Now he got one 'Nano Machine'
'I have to keep it secret that I have Nano Machine in me.'
Naruto Uzumaki wasn't aware of it, but there was no way that the medical knowledge of this era would be able to find the Nano Machine.
'I hope she doesn't catch on…'
Right now Naruto was going under his last medical examination before getting discharged. He wore a nervous expression looking at the green glowing hand.
Doctors and Nurses frowned; from the moment the boy was brought he was scared and nervous. They knew villagers didn't like him but an assassination attempt on a little boy was way too much for their liking.
"Well Naruto-san, there are no signs of any wound and injury, you are perfectly fine now. But if you feel any pain or any problem with your health, feel free to visit."
"Thank you."
Naruto was happy that they couldn't detect Nano in his body. He now was determined to learn, use the power he received.
Naruto Uzumaki reached his small apartment. It was big for him; a single room, with kitchen and bathroom, attached. It was given to him by his Jiji, he didn't have an idea who was the owner of the house! Was it Hokage himself or did he rented this apartment just for him?
'Hey, Nano Machine.'
[Yes, Master.]
He had not talked to the Nano Machine for about a few hours now. Nano Machine did not speak if he did not ask.
'You said you recovered me from my wound. How far can you do it?'
[I can recover external or internal wounds quickly. But the loss of blood or a body part will require cell replication which will require a longer time.]
'O-oh... I see.'
The Nano Machine had given him a lot of information, but it was still hard to understand. At least it was certain that he could recover from most wounds unless he lost a body part or too much blood.
'Should I test it?'
[I would not recommend hurting yourself, but if you want to try, I suggest testing it first with a small cut.]
Naruto then grabbed the Kitchen knife placed on the counter of his kitchen and cut his palm.
"Ouch!"
The pain made him frown. As the blood starts to drip from his hand.
[Activating self-healing mode on the left palm.]
With the voice, the blood stopped flowing from his palm and soon the wound disappeared as if it hadn't been there at all. He knew he had an abnormal healing rate which heal his wounds within a day but he knew for the fact that a stab wound should have taken more time than a normal cut.
'It's hard to believe... but it works.'
There was more that was hard to believe, which included the usage of the Nano Machine.
'Can I use all the powers that I was given the knowledge of?'
[Yes, Master. You can use every power of the Nano Machine as shown in the instructions.]
'Good. I'll test after changing my clothes.'
[Yes, Master.]
Naruto then got out of his clothes and clenched his two fists. He looked at his body through the mirror. His body was originally scrawny and weak, but now it was muscular and well-toned. If he could utilize the power of the Nano Machine, he could rise in strength; never again he would feel as powerless as he felt last night.
Nano Machine. How is this possible?"
[I have reconstructed your body, Master.]
'Reconstruct?'
[Creating something from nothing is hard, but reshaping your body and muscles is not as hard.]
'Your speaking is so complicated.'
He had not learned any Jutsu yet, but he did not slack off in his studies but having self-taught didn't help his academy scores. However, now whatever words the Nano Machine used were those that he had not learned from any of his books. Naruto put his clothes back on and went to his bed.
'Your name is too long. Is there any other name I can call you with?'
[You can set any name you'd like, Master.]
'...Hm.I would have called you ramen but then it might be weird to just think me calling you that. And I can't think of any… um, so I'll just call you Nano.'
[Registering -Nano]
'I just gave you a name. How about you say thank you?'
Naruto joked about it, but there was no way a machine could understand a joke.
[Thank you, Master.]
'...Yeah.' He frowned.
The Nano Machine was a machine and Naruto was now getting used to it.
His apartment did not have many books. Most of them were related to his academy, and there weren't any books about Jutsu. All he had were 3 basic scrolls about academic Jutsu; which he received this year, a few books about his Studies and an Academy Taijutsu book.
'Bastards.'
Naruto from a young age didn't have anyone to teach him to read and write whatever he learned was self-taught. This caused our Jinchuriki to face academic problems as he faced difficulty in understanding and learning. And teachers sabotaging his education didn't help either.
This caused him to have a carefree attitude. The lack of attention to said blond made it even worse for his image, as he started to prank villagers this change was subtle but ended up being one of his quirks.
That's why Naruto could only study the things he could understand one of which was history. Even this was only possible because Iruka became his class teacher. The said teacher was at first very professional and didn't let his biased thoughts act harshly towards Naruto. But soon even he ended up having a soft spot for our Jinchuriki seeing him try-hard.
But now the Naruto had a chance to learn everything he could and he won't let it slip.
'Let's try it.'
Naruto took out a book from the shelves. It was a book about Jutsu
What do I need to do?
[Look right into the book and go through each page until you reach the last one.]
'Just flip through the pages?"
[Yes. Please start]
Naruto was not convinced, but he started flipping through pages. He within no time reached the last page. He did not realize it, but his focus was shaking rapidly. So he doubted that he did a proper job.
'I did it.'
[Scanned the book 'Art of Jutsu.' Attempting to send the information to the user's brain. Will you accept?)
'Scan? Oh, you mean you copied what it means?
[Yes, Master. Will you accept?]
'I accept.'
And the feeling that he felt when he received the Nano Machine's manual came back to him. His head felt as if a jolt of lightning had struck him and the information swept into his brain. Naruto felt slightly dizzy and he held onto the end of his bed. It was much better than before, but he still felt like everything was spinning around him.
[Transfer complete.]
"Ha... ha..." As the sweat rolled out off his forehead.
[You will get used to it, Master.]
'Are you worried about me?' Naruto asked curiously, he was still foreign to the technology.
[I am just stating the fact.] And as Nano said, the dizziness quickly disappeared.
'Is this over?'
[Yes, Master. As you did with the manual, you can think about the related information to bring it up.]
Naruto then thought about Genjustu one of the three main arts of Jutsu, and information about the book that he hadn't even read came up to him naturally.

It was hard to believe, but he had just crammed the entire book into his head without even reading it. Not only did he remember but he even understood the content

Naruto thought this was amazing. He had a lot of problems studying and memorizing books until now, but with this method, he didn't need to spend time on that anymore.
'I can just cram everything in!'
Naruto smiled excitedly. He didn't have that many books in his apartment, but he was sure going to give the library a visit.
'Let's quickly grow stronger than everyone else and I'll show everyone that what Uzumaki Naruto is made off.'
He couldn't leave this village yet. He needed to focus on getting stronger and surviving in this village.

Naruto Frantically flipped through every study book in his apartment including magazines and cooking books.
Ah! the excitement of using the 'new gift'
Little did Naruto Uzumaki know that the power of the Nano Machine was not only limited to its information transfer.

The last book was academy Taijutsu's, 'The leaf dragger technique' and 'The hawk technique'. Dragger technique relied on short weapons while, hawk technique on speed.
'Well yes, but will I be able to learn something which includes physical work and practice?'

'W-what? You mean just by reading once I can learn Taijutsu without practising?'
[Yes Master, by creating a virtual simulation of physical and chakra movement I can give Master solid knowledge of scanned Taijutsu. There is data of multiple martial Arts techniques that I can transfer over to you at this movement.]
Naruto started to laugh like a mad man, if he can learn this there is no way he can fail again this year. He did not know, but the Nano Machine was created with advanced technology from the future. He didn't learn Taijutsu in the academy for 2 straight years and here he was going to learn it in instant.
'Hell yeah!, Scan it.'
[Activating Scan]
Naruto's focus began to shake rapidly as he started to flip through Taijutsu book. After completion of the two books, Nano's voice filled his head.
[Book scan completed. About 11 have been scanned. Beginning transfer.]
And with the jolt, the movements began to playback in Naruto's head. And soon, it was complete.
[Transfer complete.]
With the slight dizziness, it was done. Naruto's eyes shined with astonishment. This was beyond amazement.
'Nano... I can't believe this. I think I can use dagger and Hawk style!'
Naruto closed his eyes as he thought about 'The Leaf dragger technique', he quickly readied himself. It was the basic stance of said Taijutsu that his peers and sensei did before unleashing his skills, then swung his arm to unleash his Kunai.
He did not learn, nor was he taught, but his movements now matched perfectly with the Taijutsu movements in the book. His friends had trained themselves for a year or two, but Naruto could mimic its movements perfectly. He jumped up down on his instant progress.
'Thank you, Nano thank you so much.' as a small tear escaped.

Tomorrow he is going to the academy he will show everyone that he is not weak and an idiot. As he fell asleep, running his imagination about being a genius.
