This is Edward and Bella's first interaction. Hope you enjoy it!
We walked a bit further until we reached yet another door, this time with a keypad, she pulled out a green card before pressing it to the screen.
A whirring sound and beeping began to ring throughout the room as two large wooden doors slid open and she pulled me through the doors.
As we entered the large room, I gasped as my eyes fell on all the men with guns that stood there, not looking at us.
The sound of doors opening causes me to jump as we all turn to see who is coming in.
A tall, thin woman with penny-colored hair walks into the room.
"Ma'am." They all said.
"All of you out, now." She commands without looking at the men.
They all leave without a second thought before she looks at Heidi, "When I said all of you. I meant all of you. You were included in that statement, Heidi." She told her, before narrowing her eyes at her.
Heidi began to protest but saw the look the woman was giving her, and she left immediately.
"Don't come back in here until I call you. If you don't listen, I will put a bullet in you." The woman said as Heidi reached for the door and left abruptly.
As soon as Heidi walked out the woman turned towards me with a warm smile, extending her towards me.
I stared at her before taking her hand and allowing her to lead me out of the room and towards a staircase.
We walked down the staircase and into a blue room with a large bed, and couch.
The room looked like a princess room, the bed had a canopy, and there was blue and gold everywhere.
When we reached the couch she gestured for me to sit on it before sitting down next to me.
She reminded me of my mom when she did that, thinking of her made me sad. Knowing I would never see her again.
I turned to look at her, waiting for her to speak, when she didn't. "Are you going to help me leave here?" I asked her, hopefully.
She sighed, giving her head a shake in response, before patting my leg. "I am sorry, dear girl, this situation is completely out of my control. I can not help you escape here." She finally said, saddened.
A whimper escaped my lips as I lost all the while I had.
"Will I ever be able to see my parents again?" I asked, as my lower lip wobbled.
As I asked her, she slowly got off the couch and kneeled before me, taking both of my hands into hers.
"I wish I could help you, but my hands are bound. The best I can do is try to protect you. Escaping here would only put everyone you know in danger." She said, giving me an understanding look.
"Why me?" I asked her, wiping my face with the back of my hand.
"I have no idea." She replied, honestly
"What happens when I turn eighteen?" I asked her, anxiously.
"You have to marry my son." She responded.
My breath caught in my throat before I began to hyperventilate, throwing myself onto her and wrapping my arms around her as I cried into her shirt.
"I am so sorry you have to go through this, but I promise, I will be there for you as much as possible. I will even take over your education and training to make things easier." She said as she tried to soothe me.
"What are you supposed to train me for?" I asked her, as I stepped back to look at her.
"How to be a proper lady and wife. I can assure you Edward is a good boy. He'll take care of you." She promised.
I stared at her confused, "Who is Edward?" I asked her, frowning.
As she opened her mouth to answer, the doors opened to reveal the boy with crazy hair and pretty green eyes.
She smiled, extending her hand towards him, causing the boy to walk over. I glared at the boy, before turning away pouting. "You. I don't like him," I muttered to her.
I heard her laugh in response before standing up.
"It looks like you are already on the bad side of your wife, Eddie." She teased, smiling at both of us.
"I'm not his wife," I muttered, staring at my lap, and kicking my feet, as I crossed my arms and looked at him with narrowed eyes.
I watched as the boy rolled his eyes, frowning as he sighed and made his way over to us.
"It was not my fault, she was the only one that was awake when we went down there." He muttered.
I grumbled at his response, wrinkling my nose in annoyance.
"How old are you, Eddie?" I asked him.
"It's Edward." He corrected, annoyed as I bit my lips to hide my growing smile.
I could use this against him, maybe if we fought enough, they wouldn't marry me to him and send me back home.
"Eddie," I commented, smiling at the annoyed expression on his face, wrinkling his nose at me too.
"I am thirteen." He said, throwing an annoyed frown at me, causing me to frown back.
"I don't like him," I repeated to his mom, loudly. "Do I have to marry him?" I asked his mom.
Eddie looked as lost as I did as he turned to his mother too.
She sighed, before nodding. "That is what has been decided, for now."
"Can that be changed?" I asked her.
"If the order changes, we will know as soon as it does." She gently said.
I nodded at her before turning away and wiped my face as I did.
