The Seventh Umbra Age
There were few things that often made her blood boil, one of which was betrayal and mindless slaughter despite the irony which was lost on her. S'elene Akashiya was not one to take things lightly especially in war times, as evident of her progress in Uldah's Grand Company: The Immortal Flames.
She was one of high regard, with respect from all the companies present there. A Flame Marshall at 30 was nothing to scoff at seeing as she first joined the Grand Company three short years ago, her battle prowess was nearly unmatched, losing only to those of higher ranks on occasion and even then she gave them a battle.
S'elene was often seen with two differing weapons, One a large claymore that seemed to pulse with crimson and silver energy every couple of minutes even when not in use. Another that most would think she's a Garlean for, a rather interesting gun blade although completely different from the ones of the Garlean Empire. Six chambers of a Platinum make near her hilt while the blade itself was made of black magicite ore that was said to be gifted from one of her teachers she roamed around with the past decade, the only ones who know of its origin are the Archons of Shiralyan.
As a Miqo'te of the Sun Seeker tribe most would think she would be more of a magic user or archer but she preferred to get into the enemies face and blast their heads in with her gunblade. Only two people have ever seen her use her claymore, Y'shtola and Thanked and when asked about it, Y'shtola would usually say nothing and ignore the question while Thancred often warned said person never to force her hand to use that bloody claymore in his own words he has often said.
"I pity the person who managed to piss her off enough that she would wield that blade, it hits harder than a warhammer and slices you deeper than any blade I have ever wield in my training."
Slicing through the frontline with her gun blade in hand she was starting to get worn out even with her nigh incredible stamina.
'Marshall Akashiya, you are to back off and rest, it's not a race to defeat the Garleans we need our aces fresh.' A voice from her link pearl rang in her ear as she sheathed her blade as she started to retreat into her allies army with a grim look on her face.
Suddenly as she looked up at the sky she saw that the moon Dalamud was imploding and from within a giant dragon appeared with glowing crimson scales and burning white eyes. In an instant hellfire razed upon the battlefield as a result of her dragon's attack spell caster would dub Megaflare. Taking more care than usual she began to sprint towards the command tower where the three city state generals were leading the army, the mages of both Elzen and Hyur started casting massive Protect IV spells to try and stave off the explosions.
"GENERALS! WHERE IN THE NINE HELLS DID BAHAMUT COME FROM?! LAST OUR REPORTS STATED HE WAS PROPERLY SEALED INSIDE OF DALAMAUD!" She roared to make sure she was heard amongst the chaotic field.
As she was yelling this a giant rod from the sealing of Bahamut dropped to the earth leaving a crater on the battlefield of Caternau. As Bahamut roared, releasing more of his gigaflares from his scales, engulfing much of the battlefield on both the Eorzean and Garlean sides of the battlefield slaughters hundreds of not thousands of the officers, guppies and higher ranks that were still battling.
Distracted from this S'elene's silver white eyes looked up at the mouth of Bahamut to see him casting a Xentaflare right at the head of the grand companies, herself at the center. Suddenly it impacted with a holy barrier that she recognized immediately. The teacher of herself,Y'shtola and Thanked. Master Louisioux, One of the 99 members of the Sharlyan Council.
"Master! What are you doing here?! You retired twenty years ago for a reason!" She cried out to the elder Elezen in disbelief that he would be on this battlefield.
"Heh I couldn't just let one of my prized pupils be here unattended now couldn't I, Akasha?" He remarked with a slight grimace on his tanned skin while he was focusing on regenerating his barrier.
S'elene was too stunned to speak, not noticing the glyphs below her and several promentant soldiers and figures.
"Little Shtola wouldn't forgive me if I let you die after all. I will give you the time you all need for the Father of Dragons." He remarked softly as the dragon fired another one of his Xentaflares at the barrier.
In the nearby distance of 10,000 yalms radius several members of the Archons stood at places of power gather aether to gather to Louisioux and as the light between the barrier and the powerful blast collided, several of them were whisked away from the aether as Master Louisioux stood there along brimming with power of the lifestream against the Father of Dragons.

Five Years Later
Road to Uldah, S'elene's Mindscape
She felt different, like her body was not her usual body. Taller, stronger and a slightly better hearing range.
She opened her eyes and found her body was completely different and groaned. Instead of her usual pale slander Miqo'te body she had for the last several decades she found herself in a slightly tanner body. A Veena Viera. She had white eyes still and similar marks to those she had as a Miqo'te,however that's where it stopped. Instead of being 5 feet, six inches she found herself being a tall six foot one. She felt as if she could run through mountains for days with her long slender toned legs although she would deal with her bigger bust, not that she complained she was always more curvy than the average woman which she viewed as a blessing and a curse at times.
"Fucking bloodline again? Really?" She sighed with a slight germanic accent as she looked around to find a giant crystal in the distance from where she was at.
She looked down and as she was a platform of an arcanic array balancing the elements. The giant crystal seemed to pulse as she heard three words from a ethereal being.
"Hear…"
"Feel."
"Think."
A light shown within S'elene Akashiya as her form was now wear dark armor that she had not worn in ages since the days of bloodshed and heartbreak along with a giant claymore radiating both darkness and light as it seemed to pulse with aetheric lightning.
She was broke from her thoughts as a dark figure appeared before her that seemed familiar to her in a way before the man's crimson mask shown in the light as they lunged forward before they clashed in a blinding light. Before she blacked out she heard another phase before she woke up.
"The Scions light the path through the darkness."

Carriage to Uldah
"Hey you!" A grizzled voice called out as she awoke from what she gleamed was a vision
"Yes?" She remarked as she shook her head as the Tharalan sun beamed through the shade of the carriage.
"You new around here? Never seen your face around here. Even rarer for a Viera to come to a desert." He mumbled as he took a swig of what she assumed was heavy liquor.
"Somewhat… I've come here every now and again…. Been five years since I last stepped foot on Erozean land."
"Ohhh? Do tell?" He mused with intrigue.
"Sorry my dear, that is privileged information not for civilians."
He gleaned a bit with a sour expression as he noticed a tattoo on her bare but impressive chest.
"Freaking know it all Archons…."
She raised an eyebrow as she did look down at her bosom and found that her mark was still intact despite the body change. That did show promise for her predicament although none of her Archons knew of her shapeshifting abilities save for two people both oh her previous race. Sometimes it was a rather inconvenience that she needed to keep her heritage under wraps ESPECIALLY as a woman of a long dead clan.
"OI! Stop the carriage! Inspection time!"
S'elene grumbled, if she remembered right the Brass Blades were rather corrupt, one of her assignments a few years ago was to try and find the source of their corruption and she had little leeway much to her and Commander Aldynn's chagrin.
They were about an half hours ride away from the city via chocobo so it wasn't too much of a hassle normally sadly said merchant had contraband and the guards were about to start charging all of them several thousand Gil for it, which was no fair considering that a pair of small Elezen twins were on the carriage with them.
'Wait…. Pale, white haired ELEZEN twins here of all places? Nah, couldn't be his grandchildren. His son wouldn't allow them out of his sight after Carternau."
She shook her head as she had a hand on her claymore, she rather prefer a authentic gun blade but things were still strained between Garlean and Eorzean forces even after five years there were rumors of them starting to mobilize again after all, That damn dragon fucked out the environment for most of the world with that ability of his.
She was dragged out of her thoughts when a force of local beast tribe started firing towards the carriage with a narrowed look before the Brass Blades actually did their jobs and told the driver to drive to the city post haste while they dealt with the threat.
"Hey miss I've been meaning to ask… What brought you to these parts anyway?" He asked as the city came into view.
"Me? Well….. I'm an adventurer at heart, always have been and always will be." S'elene smirked a bit before bidding the man farewell after she got through the paperwork.
Weirdly enough all paperwork from five years ago was gone. Something about everyone losing memories or having different recollections of that time frame from what they called "The Calamity." She had theories on that, although she was missing a few memories herself, although she kept the important ones still.
