Elizabeth and Edward Senior walked in to find us in an intense lip lock.
Once we realized who had been knocking, we separated immediately, turned away, looking red in the face.
"Bella, we would like to speak to both of you … If you two are done, of course…?" Senior said, gesturing between his son and me.
Elizabeth smacked him before turning to give us a smile. "We wanted to ask both of you where you wished to be married. What with it being a few months away, it would be best to know…" She began to ask before trailing off.
"Does it have to be big?" I asked, swallowing nervously.
"So, tradition says, but if you are truly uncomfortable with that, then we can always have a smaller ceremony, and have a larger reception if you like at a later date." Senior said, as he crossed his arms.
"That sounds good. Can we keep the wedding small and then do what you suggested?" I asked him, timidly.
I watched Edward Senior nod in approval,
"Sure. We can make that happen. Now, might I suggest you two spend some time apart?" Senior questioned as his eyes twinkled in amusement.
"Yes, that is a great idea. Bella, grab your travel bag, let's go." Elizabeth instructed as she turned to her husband and spoke to him in his ear.
"The small one?" I asked her.
"Yes. We have time. Pack five outfits, some sandals along with your leather shoes, and two bathing suits. We can buy anything else you may need over there. Let's go." She instructed, with an excited smile.
"Mom, where are you—?" Edward began to ask, confused.
"The ladies and I are going to spend a weekend in Bora Bora, maybe a little longer. Away from all of you to celebrate Bella's eighteenth birthday." Elizabeth said, smiling at her son.
He sighed, shaking his head at her before walking over to me.
"I guess I should give this to you now, since you'll be gone come Saturday morning." Edward muttered as he pulled out a small velvet box.
"What is it?" I asked wide-eyed.
"Your ring." He muttered, embarrassed.
I raised a brow at him, dropping the clothes I was folding on the bed before turning to look at him.
He dropped to one knee, as he opened the box, clearing his throat. "Isabella Marie Swan. You have been a constant in my life for so long I don't know what I would do if you weren't here. Will you marry me?" He asked me.
I gasped, feeling my face heat up before nodding yes.
The ring was a beautiful combination of diamond and sapphire. The ring itself had one large diamond surrounded by two sapphire stones, before being surrounded by smaller diamonds.
As he picked it up and slid it into my finger, I noticed there was another ring, an eternity band that went perfectly with the ring itself.
"It's beautiful." I whispered, jumping when a flash went off.
"Do you like it?" He asked, as he stood up to his towering height.
I smiled widely, nodding in response as he smiled in return, leaning down to press his lips to mine.
"Liz, stop, you're embarrassing them." We heard him say.
"He's my baby Ed, surely you can understand why I need to capture this moment." She quipped back.
"Women." He scoffed, looking at us again with an eye roll, only to receive a smack upside the head by Elizabeth.
Edward shook his head at them, with an eye roll, and smiled down at me.
We left for Bora Bora shortly after I finished packing.
In my hurry to pack I forgot the most important thing I needed, tampons and pads.
As soon as we arrived, and got settled in, Elizabeth had ordered lunch for all of us.
Then, I met the rest of the girls.
Esme, Carlisle's wife, who I had met previously, smiled at me warmly as she sat down next to me.
Then I met Rosalie, Emmett's wife, she was friendly yet guarded.
Then I met Mary Alice, Jasper's girlfriend, who was a ball of energy.
Everyone seemed nice enough until I met Sulpicia. She was— let's just say she seemed friendly enough but I can't say I trust her with my life if it came to it.
We had all seen Elizabeth had exchanged words with her before walking out to sit with us, and rolling her eyes at Elizabeth.
"So, you're the girl everyone has been talking about." She commented, as she sipped the cold beverage in her glass.
"I don't know." I replied honestly as I speared a fruit with the fork, forcefully.
" You are. You've been there the longest, besides me. Everyone has been talking about how you got there and what happened when you did. It's because of you that we are at war with the Romani." She said, causing me to flinch.
Elizabeth growled at her to shut up before turning towards me.
"Bella, dear, Esme and Sully have been there almost as long as you have. But that doesn't mean anything. Aro married her slightly after you arrived, and Carlisle had met Esme while he was away studying in medical school around the same time. Sully thinks she knows everything but she doesn't, and she has been warned to keep her mouth shut but I can now see that is an impossible task for her." Elizabeth quipped, ignoring the wide-eyed look that Sulpicia gave her.
I nodded once before looking away towards the cerulean water, as my mind went to the kiss from earlier. It made me miss Edward that much more.
I could tell I was going to have a hard time being here, Sulpicia sure as hell wasn't about to keep her mouth shut.
"Seriously, Liz, you really want to go there? I can call Aro if you would like." She said, smiling sweetly at her.
"First of all, if you do that, Ed will be the one in charge of dealing with you. Second of all, don't think you can threaten me, Aro is my son, and though he ended up tied to you, nothing stops me from putting a bullet through your brain, I would tread carefully with me, if I were you, you idiotic bitch." Elizabeth said eerily calmly, before turning to us with a smile. "The food will get cold, eat." She ordered, casting all to snap out of it.
Sully pouted for the rest of the meal, while the rest of us ignored her.
Following the meal, we all left for our rooms. Elizabeth had rented a six room cabin that was placed on the water.
She gave me the one that had the view, while taking the second largest room. Leaving Esme, Rosalie and Alice to pick whichever room they wanted and leaving Sulpicia the last room left.
Following the first meal, I went to take a bath. I locked the door behind myself before stripping and heading towards the bathtub.
I allowed the water to fill the tub as I went to grab my clothes.
Once I walked back in, I set my clothes into the counter and stepped into the tub, groaning at how magnificent the water felt as I submerged myself in it.
After allowing the water to relax my muscles, I washed myself, before I got out and got dressed into a wine red-colored maxi dress.
I had just managed to doze off when a knock startled my sleep filled stupor.
I slowly got out of bed, before walking over to the door and opening it.
