Author's Note:
Starting this chapter Edward's dad, will be known as Ed, just so you don't confuse both father and son.
I gasped in surprise as I opened the door to find a tired looking Edward standing there with a grin on his face. Holding myself back from throwing myself into his arms as I smiled up at him.
"Edward, what are you doing here?" I gasped as I stepped back, and allowed him into my room.
"My dad and I decided we should give you what you wanted sooner rather than later. What better place to get married than Bora Bora?" He asked with a smile.
"Here? But what about the other people? Won't they be mad?" I asked, concerned.
"Not if they don't find out. Besides, the family that needs to be here is here. That is all that matters." He said as he laid in the large bed.
I hummed in response, as I layed next to him, my lids growing heavily, as my head hit the pillow.
"So, what do you say, cara? Will you marry me here, in Bora Bora, the day after tomorrow?" He asked me, but I could only sigh in response as I fell asleep.
I woke up sometime later feeling incredibly thirsty, as I looked towards the window, only to find that the light blocking doors had been closed.
As I got up to use the bathroom, I felt an arm tighten around me, pinning me to the mattress.
"Eddie…" I muttered, as I turned to run my fingers through his messy hair.
"Hmm… five more minutes, dad." He complained before letting me go and turning to his other side.
I giggled, watching him sleep for a while before hastily getting up to relieve myself. Using that time to shower again, brush my teeth and change my clothes.
This time pulling on a dusty rose, quarter sleeve, shin length maxi dress, and some wedged sandals before pulling my hair up into a chignon, and applying a light layer of eyeliner, mascara.
When I came back he had turned back towards my side, and had a frown on his face.
"Looking for something?" I asked him as I stood at the foot of the bed, as I watched him sit up in surprise.
"Oh, thank God. I thought it was a dream." He muttered as he sat up.
As he sat up, I noticed he had changed out of the suit he arrived in, and into a pair of silver jersey shorts, and a gray wife beater.
"What was a dream?" I asked, as my brow furrowed.
"I —it's nothing important, it was just a dream." He replied, looking away with a frown of his own.
"Hm. Well, get up and shower. They're probably waiting for us to eat." I reminded, turning away as he got out of bed, avoiding the sight of his anatomy, which I felt earlier as I tried to wiggle out of bed.
I couldn't help blush as I looked away, trying to calm my nerves as I looked out at the now opened doors.
I sat on the bed, as he showered quickly, changing into a pair of blue shorts, and a gray button down.
"What no suit?" I asked, raising a brow at his casual attire.
He only ever wore suits back home, so seeing him like this, was a complete, yet amusing surprise.
He scoffed, "In this weather? Only a madman would be crazy enough to wear one of those monkey suits." He muttered as he stepped into a pair of sneakers before taking a blue jar from his carry on and combing his hair into submission.
When he walked out of the bathroom, he dried his hand on a towel before turning to me. "Are you ready?" He asked me as he offered me his hand.
I nodded, as I stood up, and took his hand, before allowing him to lead me out of the room and towards the table.
"Ahh, so the two lovebirds are awake." Senior commented as he sat down at the head of the table.
"Good morning." Edward muttered as he pulled a chair back for me, and sat down next to me.
"Good morning, dear." Elizabeth said before turning to me with a smile. "How did you sleep, Bella dear?" She asked me as she took a bite of her fruit.
"Oh, great. I was tired from the trip, so I fell asleep shortly after I showered." I replied as I served myself some fruit, and grabbed two pancakes, suddenly feeling ravenous.
"Oh, don't worry dear, we all fell asleep yesterday too. Imagine my surprise when I woke up this morning to find this man next to me." She said, smiling amused at Ed's face.
"Where is everyone else?" I asked, as I saw the nearly empty table.
"Exploring …" Ed deadpanned, causing us to laugh.
We had only begun to eat when everyone finally began to show up.
The first to come out were Alice and a tall, blonde man, with blue eyes, closely followed by Esme and another blonde man.
I stared at both men, before my gaze flickered towards Edward and his parents. They all have similarities. Included variation of green or blue eyes, and wild hair.
Though one blonde man had darker blonde hair than the other, both seemed to be varying muscle mass, and dressed the same as both Edwards.
"Good morning, everyone." They greeted us, before sitting across from us at the table.
"Good morning…" I replied, smiling at her as she smiled back.
"Bella, that is Jasper, my third oldest, Carlslie, my second oldest, and you already know the ladies." Elizabeth said, smiling as she gestured to each man.
"Nice to meet you." I quietly greeted, as I noticed Rosalie and yet another man walk out and sit down at the large table.
I wondered why Elizabeth had gotten us such a large place the day before when we arrived, now I knew.
"Good morning, family. Lovely day we're having!" The man greeted loudly as he pulled the chair out for Rosalie before he sat down next to her.
"That buffoon is Emmett, he is two years older than Edward." Elizabeth explained ignoring Emmett's antics.
"Aw ma…" he complained, but stopped when he caught the look on Elizabeth's face.
We had all begun to eat again, when Aro and Sulpicia walked out, sitting at the other end of the table.
"Great, now that the whole famiglia is here. I have an announcement." Ed said, as he pointedly ignored Aro and Sulpicia's greetings.
He ignored the groans all of the men let out as he stared around the table, making eye contact with each one of us, before landing on Aro and his wife.
"It has come to my attention that a few of you are against Edward and Bella's upcoming nuptials, you need to stop your asinine comments and actions immediately before I take the matter into my own hands. You have no say in what happens or what will happen. If I find out you have continued with this asinine behavior, I will have you in the basement faster than you can blink. Consider this the only warning." Ed said, ignoring Sulpicia's and Aro's pallid face.
"That warning goes to all of you as well. Leave Bella and Edward alone. You have no say on how they live their lives or wish to live their lives." Elizabeth added.
"But—but…" Sulpicia sputtered, causing us all to turn to look at her.
Aro grabbed her hand, shaking his head at her in response.
"Sul, you have something to say on the matter?" Ed asked, raising a brow, before placing his hand on the knife on the table.
So far in the time that I had known and been with them, I had only seen him do that to Edward once.
"Yes, I actually do. I just don't see why you are all acting like this isn't weird. Each one of the Cullen men have had a choice in who they marry. Why can't Edward?" She asked.
"If you are referring to the whores you call friends wanting to get into the family for prestige and the money you should know that even if Edward hadn't chosen Bella, he still wouldn't be interested in those social climbing whores, now if all of your questions have been answered, and you don't have anything else to say, then we will finish eating before finishing this discussion in the sitting room later." Ed replied as he leaned forward to serve himself another serving of pancakes and fruit, winking at me when he caught me staring.
Rosalie, Esme, and Alice snorted at his statement before pointedly ignoring Sulpicia's glare.
"Well, that was interesting..." Elizabeth muttered, as she cut her pancakes and ate a large piece.
