Alas, since a few of you asked for this specific POV. I decided to go ahead an write it. I hope this answers a few questions for you...

Edward's POV:

(Age 13:)

I groaned, as I dodged yet another blow to my head and returned the blow hitting Emmett in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him.

We had been at it for hours now, and our dad wouldn't allow us to stop unless we proved we could handle ourselves, to him.

As he sat there with an emotionless face, occasionally commenting on how we are in the wrong position or if our hands are placed wrong.

"Edward, lift your hands a bit higher. Yes right there." He said as Uncle Peter rushed into the gym.

"Boss, you are not going to believe this." He said.

"What happened? Did you guys not intercede the shipments?" My dad asked.

"Oh we interceded it, alright, but it's not the shipment we thought it was." Uncle Peter replied, shaking his head.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"It's — It's— Why don't you come and see for yourself?" He said.

We all tensed as our dad got up and stormed after Uncle Peter.

"What do you think it is?" Jasper asked us as Uncle Felix walked in and looked tense.

"Alright boys, so, your dad just informed me that we have a code blue. I need you all to follow me." He instructed. "And no funny business, Jasper, Emmett." He added eyeing them.

We all followed him out of the gym and towards the house, only to find my father with Uncle Peter, staring at the contents in the back of a massive truck.

"What in the hell?!" We heard our father screech.

"Uncle Felix, what's wrong?" I asked him after he rushed us into the house.

He sighed, rubbed his face with one of his hands. "I can't tell you right now, Ed, my boy. For right now, I need you all to go to your rooms. As soon as the situation is settled I'll come and get you." He replied as he messed with my hair.

We all nodded before making our way towards our rooms.

I entered mine, only to watch our Uncle walk back the way we came.

As soon as he disappeared I quickly made my way to my mother's office to find her moving around the room quickly.

All the computers that aligned the wall, all of the screens had different things on them, as she typed into the keys.

"Those sons of bitches…" she growled, angrily, as she typed again, moving to grab a file on the side table before gasping as she noticed me standing there.

She pressed two buttons, causing the screens to turn off before a humming sound began in the room.

"Mom, what's going on?" I asked her, confused.

"We have a situation, and I managed to find a way to fix it." She said, giving me a gentle smile. "Go to your room." She said before picking up the massive pile of papers and sliding them into a large folder.

"Will everything be alright?" I asked.

"Let's hope so…" She sighed as she led me back to my room.

Hours later when everything seemed to have calmed down, my parents came into my room.

I had been catching up on my homework, so I wouldn't fall behind in my studies, when I noticed the anxious looks they were exchanging.

"What's wrong?" I asked, turning to look at them, frowning in concern.

"Son, we need to ask a favor of you. You are our last hope." My dad said.

"What is it, and why did everyone else say no?" I asked.

My mom gave my dad an exasperated head shake before walking over to me.

"Eddie, baby, your father and his men intercepted a truck today, in hopes of stopping some very bad people. Unfortunately, this truck was not what they hoped to be. It was full of little girls and boys a few years younger than you. Many girls are between the ages of seven to twelve. We have managed to find out where all of them are from and have our men enroute to their home states. All except one. This girl's parents were involved with the bad people who took all those children. We sent someone to check on them, only to find them already expired." She explained.

"I—I'm not following…How do you even know that?" I replied confused.

"Based on the pattern of bank deposits, the amount, and how often these deposits were made, it is certain, plus I tracked down the location of where the money came from. It's a base located in Romania." My mother explained.

"How certain are you—?" I began before my mother interrupted me.

"The girl has no one left in the world. If we take her to a hospital she will end up in the State's custody. We need for you to pretend to pick her, as your bride. That way we can protect her from the truth." She explained.

I frowned. "What do I need to do?" I asked them.

"Your Uncle's took her down to the garage, while I don't condone leaving her in the cage those bastards that took her placed her in, I need you to go down there, look at her and when I walk in, you point at her and say 'her'. That's all. I will take charge from there." My dad said, sighing as he kneeled before me, patting one of my legs.

I wrinkled my nose at them. "Why didn't anyone else want to do it?" I asked.

"Because, Emmett is fifteen, Jasper is sixteen, Carlisle is eighteen, and Aro is twenty-one. You are the only real option left, son." He replied, sighing tiredly.

I groaned, covering my face with my hands, groaning again. "Fine, I'll do it. But I don't think I'll like it." I muttered as my mom sequealed.

My mother nodded as she showed me a picture of a girl with pigtails and bows. "This is her. She will be the only one down there, either way, here she is." She said, as she crouched next to my dad.

I rolled my eyes, "Alright, well, I truly hope that this doesn't bite you both in the ass…" I muttered, as my dad smacked the back of my head.

"Ragazzo, siamo i tuoi genitori, abbi un po' di rispetto." He muttered, giving me the hairy eyeball. (Boy, we're your parents, have some respect.)

"Yeah, yeah. Respect. Got it." I muttered as my dad led me to the underground garage.

"Quit the sass, boy." I heard my mother call behind us as she went back to her office.

As we approached the thick metal, and wooden door, Uncle Felix paced anxiously before it.

"Felix, who is with her?" My dad asked him.

"Relax, Peter was in there with her, but she was asleep, now I think it's Conner. She is finally waking up and scared out of her wits." My uncle replied.

"Let Edward in. He'll go see how she is and we can transfer her to one of the rooms on the wing Elizabeth redecorated a month ago."

They both opened the door, allowing Conner to come out before letting me walk in.

I noticed the lights were turned off, making the room look more intimidating than it actually was.

As I walked over to the cage, I stared at her for a moment, worried as I noticed a welt on the side of her head.

Jeez. Dad wasn't going to like that.

She groaned in pain as her eyes popped open. I watched her dark eyes look around the room before she noticed me standing there.

"What are you doing here?" She cried, trying to move away only to realize her hands were cuffed through the cage.

I continued to stare at her silently wishing I could calm her down.

"Get out of here! Dangerous people are here! You need to leave before the scary man comes back and gets you too!" She cried, trying to free herself only for the metal cuffs to dig into her dainty wrists.

Just as I was about to speak I heard my dad and uncles along with Liam and Conner walk back in. "Did you pick which one, boy?" He asked me, in the no nonsense tone.

I looked up at him before nodding. Slowly lifting my hand and pointing to her. "Her." I replied.

"Perfect. Liam, take her to Heidi immediately." My dad said.

We all watched as Liam slowly bent down, and tried to undo the cuffs without hurting her more, but she kept wiggling around, looking absolutely terrified.

Before any of us could react, Liam yanked her out of the cage, and practically dragged her out of the room.

"Pop, when mom finds out you allowed Heidi near her, she's going to rip your head off." I mumbled, biting my lip.

"If she doesn't rip your nuts off first, Ed." My uncle Felix muttered, wincing and cupping himself.

"I'll deal with that when the time comes for now. The girl is the priority. Let's hope Heidi fucking knows her place or Elizabeth will fucking end her…" My dad muttered before making his way out of the garage. "Get rid of that thing. Burn it if you have to. But get rid of it. Immediately." He said before walking out.

After Uncle Felix and Uncle Peter disassembled the cage, they told me to go find my mother.

I had only just walked into the room, when I saw her again.

This time I knew. She was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen.

She was cute. With her long and curly brown hair, tied in the back of her head with a bow. Her eyes were wide like a scared doe, but now that we were in the light I noticed they were a pretty blue green color.

Her button nose wrinkled as I soon stepped into the room with my hands in my pocket.

"You!" She growled before turning to look at my mother, with a pout. "I don't like him." She mumbled loudly.

My mother laughed at her in amusement, as the girl crossed her arms over her chest and pouted.

She turned to me, teasing me about how I was already on her bad side. And her being my wife.

Damn her and her embarrassing tendencies. I wasn't going to hear the end of it from my brothers when they found out. Let's hope they don't find out too soon though.

I heard her grumble before turning to look at me through pretty narrowed eyes. "I am not his wife." She grumbled kicking her feet in the air.

'Not yet, anyway. But one day, I know you will be.' I thought as I stared at her with a frown of my own.

She was going to be a pain in my ass, I could already feel it, but her cute pout made me ignore the feeling.

Thinking quickly on my feet, I slowly made my way over to her before sighing. "It wasn't my fault, she was the only one that was awake when we went down there." I replied, looking at my mother as she nodded in approval.

"How old are you, Eddie?" She asked l, as her doey eyes widened with curiosity.

'Oh no. She called me Eddie. No one calls me that besides my mom, and that's at her insistence…' I thought.

Unable to resist the automatic reaction, I frowned, "It's Edward." I replied with a frown, before she could repeat the name again, only to watch her frown back at me.

"I am thirteen." I said frowning again, before looking at my mother, who was biting her lip in amusement.

I sighed knowing she wasn't going to help me, as my eyes flickered back to her, noticing the small smile on his lips, as a mischievous twinkle appeared in her eyes before she turned to my mom again.

"I don't like him." She said pouting again.

There went that lip again.

"Do I have to marry him?" She asked her again.

I stared at my mom in wonder, frowning as I realized I didn't know the answer either.

She sighed, swallowing thickly as her eyes welled up with unshed tears. "That is what has been decided, for now." She replied, looking at me.

I knew that look, it meant that she was scared. My mother never shows fear unless it is serious. And if the situation is serious that means we have more problems than originally thought.

"Can that be changed?" The girl asked her, innocently staring at her, with hope in her eyes.

I bit my lips hard and turned away from the sight. I knew what my mom answered would kill that hopeful sparkle as soon as I saw the gulp of air my mother took.

"If the order changes we will know as soon as it does." She replied, swallowing as the girl weakly nodded her head before her lower lip began to quiver.

This time the tears did fall, and the sight made my heart hurt from just looking at her as she silently wiped her tears.

So, there it is. Edward's POV of when they first met.
