Kuri knew Ben was off with that Kevin fellow after fighting with Max, and she was sick of resting up.
She went out to the market and found a girl there stealing food.
"What do you think your doing?" The owner said.
"She's buying lunch!" Kuri said, paying for the food.
The owner looked pissed, but Kuri gave him a sharp look and he didn't say anything.
"Who put you up to that?" Kuri said.
"I did." Kevin was there glaring at them.
"Stop him Kuri!" Ben said. "He's got my powers!"
Reiko stood in front of Kevin. "Leave him alone."
Kevin smirked. "You won't hurt an innocent fox."
Kuri ran to Ben. "Are you ok? He's right I can't do anything unless she gets out of the way."
She touched the Omnitrix. "It gave him superpowers?"
Her reiki flared and hit the watch and a pulse shot out, knocking Kevin to the ground.
Reiko got up and growled, ears and tails appearing and claws on her hands.
Kuri grabbed Ben and they appeared in the Rust Bucket.
"Why did we run?!" Ben asked angrily.
Kuri panted. "We can't win in a fight against a kitsune."
