Ben paced around the hospital. "Maybe if I turn into Rath and yell at the doctors for a while, I could—"
"Ben what are you muttering about?" Reiko said. "Don't worry. They won't crowd you anymore. After we got settled in I used my suggestion power on camera and told them all to "leave the heroes of Bellwood alone."
"Great job!" Kevin grinned.
"Anyway you aren't the only one that feels helpless." Reiko said. "We all do."
The Doctor came out. "Mr Tennyson. We did all we could."
"WHAT?!" Ben ran into the room. "Get out! All of you!"
He collapsed on Kuri's bloody body.
"It's not over." Reiko said in the doorway. "You must give her life energy. You have a lot of ki in you, Ben. It's what makes you so strong."
"She's not gonna die." Kevin said. "Listen to Rei."
Ben didn't know what to do. He just wanted her back. He leaned down and kissed her on the lips.
A pulse of magic shot through the air, and Kuri sat up.
"Cmon now...you know I hate it when you cry Alien Boy." Kuri grinned.
