Hello my lovelies,

first of all, I want to thank you all for being so patient with me and allowing me the time to feel better.

I think it's safe to say I am writing again, though updates may be slower than normal.

So, as a treat, I have decided to update. Albeit it's a small one but hopefully y'all like it. Enjoy.

I stayed in the bath until the water ran cold, before pulling the trip lever and letting the water go.

Once the tub emptied, I walked over to the shower. Washing myself until I felt clean enough, before I could relax.

After my shower, I decided to bite the bullet and stay out of bed, though I did end up staying in my room.

I dressed in a white and blue romper shorts, topping it with the blue kimono and a pair of white sandals, picking up my hair and tying it into a messy bun.

I ignored almost everyone that came knocking to check on me.

I knew Edward probably had someone watching over me, and staying out of sight. Though I found it to be irritating, I knew that he was only doing it to keep me safe, and though I hated that he was treating me like a child, I appreciated the lengths he was going to assure my safety.

Even if it was in the form of the she-devil he called sister-in-law continuously made rounds to get me to leave the comfort of my own room.

"Go away!" I called, as I unlocked the two doors leading to a large private balcony, and stepped out with the Kindle Elizabeth had gifted me four years ago on my fourteenth birthday.

I spent the rest of the day reading on the terrace, enjoying the smell of the breeze and listening to the water as it would hit against the wood, all while I stayed under the shade that the canopy provided under the midday summer sun.

"You know, that's not the correct way to tan, princess." I heard someone say as they walked out onto the terrace.

"I don't like tanning. It makes my skin itch too much. I'm simply enjoying the weather, and view while staying protected under here." I replied as I set my Kindle down, beside me and looked up at him.

"So, my mother told me you want to travel…" he began, looking at me, as he stared, his eyes searching.

"I do." I confirmed, wrapping my arms around myself to feel secure.

"Where do you want to go if we do?" He asked, with a small smile.

"Germany, I want to visit the musems there. I read the book the Diary Of Anne Frank when I was nine and have been dying to go there to see everything through her eyes." I replied.

"We can go." He said, nodding.

For the first time in years excitement bubbled in my chest as I turned sharply to look at him in disbelief.

"Really?!" I squealed, bouncing in my seat.

"Sure, we can. I mean, your birthday turned into a disaster. I think that is enough grounds to cover recelebrating your birthday. We'll call this a redo. Just you and me. We can even leave tomorrow night if you want." He said.

I squealed again, this time launching myself into his lap to hug him tightly. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I squealed, still bouncing in his lap.

"So, that's a yes?" He asked, hugging me back, as he smiled widely at me.

"It's a 'Hell Yes!', Eddie." I replied, smiling.

"Great. Well, I'll go tell my dad of our decision, and we'll leave sometime after noon. Don't worry about packing anything we can buy whatever we need over there." He informed me, as we looked each other into the eyes.

I gasped, as I felt everything around us disappear.

I could see the question in his eyes as we stared at each other, his eyes flickering down to my lower lip as I bit it.

"Don't do that…" he told me in a soft tone.

"What?" I asked, in the same tone.

"Bite your lip like that…" He whispered back.

"Why? Are you going to bite it for me?" I asked, teasingly.

He smirked at me, before looking away. "If that's what you want, princess, then yes." He smirking as he looked back at me.

I nodded. "I want." I said, breathlessly, before grabbing his neck and bringing his lips down to mine.

I turned on his lap to straddle him, feeling his hands move onto my hips, as a groan formed in the back of his throat.

After a few minutes, we came up for air, his forehead touching mine as his breathing came out in short breaths.

"What in the world did I do to deserve that?" He asked me, breathlessly.

I smiled at him for a moment. "You loved me." I replied watching his smile grow.

"I always will, mia amore." He vowed. (my love)

"You promise?" I asked him, lightly.

"Forever and ever." He replied.

"Good." I replied, giving him a smirk of my own. "Because otherwise this life would be boring." I deadpanned.

He scoffed. "It would be more than boring…" he said, clearly offended.

"Maybe..." I softly replied, staring at him, noticing I was still in his lap.

His hands were still in my hips, feeling deliciously warm, even through my cloths.

"Probably as boring as you say, but we're lucky we don't have to find out. We still have each other." He said, kissing my forehead.

I sighed, dropping my head onto his chest, resting contently as I did. Listening to the beat of his heartbeat, allowing the sound to relax me further. "You're completely right, Eddie. We do have each other." I replied, lazily.

"You seem tired, do you want to go lay down inside again?" He asked me, concerned.

I shook my head in response, "No, let's just stay like this. Here, just you and me." I whispered, contently.

"Alright. But how about we lay on the hammock instead?" He asked, jutting his chin to the corner of the terrace.

"Ok." I muttered, moving to get off of him.

"No, stay there. I'll carry you." He said, gently.

I nodded, feeling as he stood up, and moved us towards the hammock.

Moments later he laid me down, before climbing on himself, pulling me onto his chest, as he wrapped his arms around me.

Moments later I fell asleep as I listened to the beat of his heart, feeling happy hopeful, and truly excited after so long.

How long would this feeling last?
